Is this really a thing in America? In Australia, we're fortunate enough to have needle and sharps disposal units in most public and unisex bathrooms, you can get free packs containing new sharps and sanitary wipes at any public hospital. Is the American government really trying to make the people who need help so unwell, to the point of possibly dying, because they (the govt.) can't be f*cked to be decent to the society they're supposed to serve?

Spanking children trains them to see violent authority figures as the good guys.
