My reviews for Empire of the Vampire and Empire of the Damned are live on my Goodreads! Read here for Empire of the Vampire and here for Empire of the Damned.
I cannot wait for the release of the third book. These are excellent, dark, and full of sadness and ruin. But there is hope to undo the darkness.
Definitely recommend!

My review for How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying is live on my Goodreads!
Overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️
Review: This is an excellent fantasy that will at the very least become a duology. A fun spin on someone stuck in a time loop until they become the anti-hero and her journey to become the Dark Lord.
A comedic fantasy, this has dark humor but manages to be lighthearted despite it. Fun references to prominent nerdy pop culture, this book pulled quite a few laughs from me.
I adore it and can’t wait to read the second one.

My review for When The Moon Hatched is live on my Goodreads! Linked in my bio.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 🌶️🌶️
This is an epic fantasy complete with map, glossary, AND pronunciation guide. You are in for a ride with this book. Morally-grey FMC, he falls first, one dragon 👀, and an enjoyable amount of violence, this is everything that you are looking for if you like Lord of the Rings, Fourth Wing and Bloodsworne.
This book will take you high and low. It will help you relax and put you on the edge of your seat. This book is smart, excellent Easter eggs hidden throughout, and a fantastic twisting end that just leaves you gutted because you can’t dive into the second book right away.
Well worth the read, definitely among my tops for the year.

Recently I was interviewed for an article in The NY Times surrounding the fatphobic discourse around Penelope and Colin’s love in Bridgerton and how realistic it is for a bigger woman to be with a thin man.
For the majority of the entire decade that I have been with my husband (married for 2.5 years) I have been heavy. I am 5 feet tall, and until the last 8 months, I’ve been 200 lbs. I now sit at a more comfortable (for my back) 170. When we met, I was thin. After I gained weight, I used to cry and tell him I feel like I trapped him into being with an ugly, fat woman. He was so reassuring, I used to bring him to the point of tears when he would tell me that he loved me regardless of my size.
When I gained weight I noticed how so much changed in how I was treated by people. People wouldn’t be as overly nice to me as they were before, catcalling almost completely stopped. To a degree I was relieved because I could just exist in peace, but then I wondered; if my size was always my worth, was anything I had had before ever real? Was anyone really there for me as a person?
And then I realized I had traded one form of degradation for another. Instead of being objectified constantly, I was fatshamed at every turn. I routinely cannot participate in online discussions without someone making an attempt to dismiss me due to my weight. The most recent being 3 days ago, when I was told diabetes would get me.
I am worth so much more than my size. I am a human being. I have interests and passions. I care about people. I love animals. I like to help people. I want the world to be a good place, and I’m just doing my best to make the world around me as good as I can. I wish people would not discredit me because of my size, or say it’s unrealistic for me to be loved by my normal-weight husband because I happen to be a curvy girl.
We are lovable, capable, and worthwhile.
My husband makes me feel sexy, and loved, and he just sees my weight as having more of me to hold on to and love. I couldn’t ask for more, he makes me feel worshipped. He married me at my biggest weight, he chose me for me.

So you want to read Throne of Glass, but you don’t know where to start. Everyone seems to have a specific reading order, and there’s a million people beneath that person telling them why it’s wrong.
Well, the good news is, it’s not wrong! There is no right or wrong way to read Throne of Glass. Though, I will say, I have an extreme bias towards the first and second methods, but I think that’s just because I love to torture myself with emotional damage.
Comment your favorite reading order below! If you haven’t read Throne of Glass yet, feel free to save this post to come back to it when you finally get there, and always feel free to share with your friends!
