Some little Cecilos headcanons because I love them both

-carlos is an amazing baker due to the face that baking is just science that you can eat

-this means that whenever Carlos knows that Cecil has had a rough day at the station, he bakes Cecil whatever he wants

-speaking of bad days, Cecil probably has a lot of them because the shenanigans of nightvale always put him in danger he doesn’t want to be involved in

-on some of these days he’ll end the show a little bit earlier (maybe like 5 minuets) and heads straight to Carlos’s lab to see him. Every time this happens, Carlos doesn’t care that Cecil isn’t supposed to be in the lab.

-Cecil walks in and Carlos drops what he’s doing and silently goes to him because he knows he needs the comfort. (Sometimes his lab assistants haven’t left and they see this happen and quietly aw at them)

-I feel like Cecil overworks himself a lot.

-like he’s the newscaster for an entire town, he has to stay awake to see everything that happens or else no one will know what disaster is going on the next day

-this leads to a ton of Carlos dragging Cecil to bed (even if it means he doesn’t sleep either.

-some nights he gets dragged to bed and he doesn’t sleep. Carlos knows about this and he knows there isn’t anything that he can do about it. But Cecil sits up against the head board of the bed and Carlos basically lies next to his legs and puts his head on his thighs.

-and ofc Cecil sees this as an opportunity to play with Carlos’s hair (not that Carlos is complaining) and he falls right asleep.

-but when Cecil DOES eventually have to fall asleep he pulls Carlos’s back to his chest and kisses the back of his neck to let Carlos know that he’s going to sleep (even if Carlos is dead asleep, it’s a routine thing for Cecil)

I had the honor of seeing The BOM on tour today in Atlanta.

Here are some of the highlights ;)))

(There are probably so many more but I was trying to remember some of the best ones during intermission and on the car ride back home. I was so focused on Kevin, Conner, and Kayla during this so most of this is about them and their characters. Oops)

First off

The stage was so beautiful. The border was my favorite thing in the world

THIS CAST. I had been following Kevin, Conner, and Kayla on instagram since I found out I was going to see the musical (December of last year) and I was so excited to see them in their characters and I was not let down. (And Robert Colvin was following me on insta for a while and then unfollowed cause he realized his mistake lmao) BUT ANYWAYS. This entire cast did such an INCREDIBLE job and I wish I could see it again. Now onto the highlights.

-The music that was playing while people were walking into the theatre was being played on an organ and it sounded like you were on a Disney ride. Very fitting.

-The Norway in two by two was significantly louder than all of the other locations?

-When McKinnley was leading Kevin and Arnold he grabbed both of Kevin’s hands and led him while walking backwards. He also grabbed Kevin’s ass during this

-McKinley like waddled away from the room and it sounded like tap tap tap tap cause of the tap shoes

-The lights (border) around the stage light up during some songs and it’s honestly such a good lighting touch

-When “if anyone asks you to show the plates to them” was sang the actor deadpanned “don’t”

-WHERE TF DO THE VESTS COME FROM

-Kayla is a ray of sunshine

-When naba was convincing Arnold to come talk about the Mormon religion she grabbed his hands and when she let go he kinda followed her with his hands

-Omg when Kevin said “the mission president” and grabbed McKinley’s face McKinley leaned in so far and Kevin didn’t move away until last minute and McKinley was so close to falling over

-When Kevin said that he got stuck with Arnold, there was such a long and awkward pause before he realized what he said

-The ending of man up had so much energy and it was AMAZING

-“Uh huh yes *snap* he *snap* did *snap*”

-In the hell dream, after giving Hitler a bj, McKinley was smacking his ass with one of the pitchforks towards the back of the stage

-When Arnold found Kevin @ the coffee place, after Kevin said “don’t talk to me, dont touch me” Arnold dragged his hand down Kevin’s face and BOOKED IT ACROSS THE STAGE

-When Arnold was talking to general BFN at the end of the musical, when he said “if you don’t leave, I’ll turn you into a lesbian” everyone in the theatre DIED

-Things Naba was called by Arnold: Necrophilia, Neil Patrick Harris, Nala, Nicki Manaj, Neutrogena, Jon Bon Jovi

-Conner and Kayla as Arnold and Naba are the best. They have such a great chemistry together and “Baptize me” was such a fun song to watch

-They portrayed McKinley as being hella into Kevin and I was living for it

-Although he did shove Kevin out of the way to get to Arnold after finding out that he was talking to the Africans, he was totally into Kevin ;)

-The way the Disney backdrop was ripped away before the hell dream set was shown is my RELIGION

-When the Africans started their play at the end, when they said the first thing wrong, the two guys with the mission president had to hold him down in his chair
