The tickets this year were, reportedly, 75,000 dollars per person. That's insane, that could help so many people. And it's not even just the ludicrous price tag on the event. Anna Wintour actually thought making the dress code themed after the short story The Garden of Time by J.G. Ballard was an ok thing to do?? A short story about rich people not caring as a mob of starved poor villagers march towards them??? That was the best theme this year???? As pro Palestine/anti-war protests march towards the Met??? AND when the workers were threatening to go on strike the day before

I agree. Unfortunately it seems like there's nothing we can do to make them realize or care about the gravity of this situation. I don't even know if protests would be enough at this point, you're probably right about them needing a boycott and a financial hit.
