Like half of the writing side of this website, I am looking for betas (or alphas)! I write original fiction, not ff (tho I love reading it!!!), and am looking for another set of eyes on my work. Something Something: When Sam meets B, her best friend's boyfriend best friend (bbb for short), she thinks he's hot as fuck and probably the funniest person she's ever met. Other than herself, of course. Major bummer though as she quickly finds out he's off the market. Not that it would be a smart choice to date him anyway, as she repeatedly tells herself. As she navigates the pitfalls of life, she finds herself growing closer with him until finally they come to an agreement: friends with benefits. Of course, she's a big fat liar and has the feels. Now what?

Whirlwind in Vegas: Getting separated from the group during girl's night in Vegas was not ideal. In fact it was the opposite of ideal. With a shattered phone screen, no sense of direction, and a good buzz, she was all alone in Sin City. When a kind hearted guy bumps into her, literally, she doesn't think it will change her entire night.

Kingman: MJ goes home. She doesn't particularly want to but she does. She goes home because her mom's sick. The cancer. While reliving her childhood, she relives her childhood in unexpected ways. Jake. She completely forgot he was even a thing. 

The Nanny: Amy makes a ballsy move and goes out to the middle of nowhere to chase a job. It turns out the job is legit which is definitely good for her health. As she nannies for David and his family, she finds herself growing closer and closer to them in a way she didn’t expect.

I love it when people use "shrimp" to mean "beyond the human range". like "shrimp colors" but applied to other things. "shrimp emotions" "shrimp sounds" "shrimp morality", as if shrimp are living some kind of transcendent existence that humans can never comprehend
