    𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐎𝐏𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐅 , it wasn’t everyday that issues pertaining people caught stealing on the dawn winery presented themselves over his desk in the form of long documents describing the thief’s appearance and time when the robbery happened, this was on its own, a fact Diluc was well aware of already, not to mention that it wasn’t even a consistent thing to begin with, for there weren’t many people that were bold enough to consider stealing from the acclaimed owner of the winery— truthly, it certainly took a special kind of audacity for someone to consider doing so, which is why if anything, the times in which people actually dared to do so were nothing but few that consisted on thiefs taking a few grapes here and there- in all truth, such matters were of little concern to Diluc, mainly because 9 out of 10 times, the robbery that took place around the vineyards consisted of a petty amount in comparison to the size of the winery and its vineyard,s not to mention that most of the times, dealing with such small matters took away a small yet decent portion of Diluc’s valuable time, which ended up being much more troublesome to deal with than to just let it ocasionally slip by.

As the darknight hero,  ( a title that oftentimes has proved to leave a sour taste on his tongue whenever mentioned ),  he was well aware of the kind of individuals that would come drop by when times started to get difficult around the city, yet what he did not expect nor would have ever been able to predict was to one day get up from his desk only to spot from his window, not too far away, Mondstadt’s most knowledgeable astrologer Mona Megistus—

Stopping midway on his tracks, Diluc lightly squints at the strange sight as he walks back to the window all in order to confirm whatever was going on was real, which to his own misfortune, what he’s seen seconds ago wasn’t just product of his own tired mind starting to see things but was rather, a very real thing- as there she was without a doubt, with her characteristic big hat that was perhaps 2 times bigger than her head and her long twin tails flowing with the wind, that and— wait. Where was she even saving those mushrooms ?? Was she truly that desperate that she couldn’t even afford for a bag to tuck them inside of ??

He sighs, and for a moment, he contemplates to not say anything and act as if he saw nothing, as courtesy perhaps; only so she could keep her pride and he could keep on with his daily duties  ( Which in all truth, sounded sort of odd when one considered the fact that he was being courteous to someone who was stealing from him to begin with )  however even he knew that this train of thought was likely to fail, for he couldn’t even take one step away before noticing how 2 or 3 Philanemo mushrooms she was carrying in between her arms  ( which were comically full of them )  have managed to slip away and roll down his roof.... Another sigh slips past his lips, and raising a gloved hand up to his face, Diluc lightly rubs his temple with his thumb and index finger for a couple of seconds before eventually opening the window.

❝ —Wouldn’t carrying a bag make things much easier? ❞   He comments from his window with a raise of a brow as he meets with the astrologer’s now incredibly pale face. Right.... Afterall, he did catch her in the act of stealing- well, at least, he now knows she does possess a semblance of shame-   ❝ Just— Why don’t you get down and I’ll go ask for the gardener to pick them for you instead- ❞   At least let him get someone who actually knows what they are doing !!
