Mun stares grumpily at time and then stares grumpily up at ceiling where a one year old is wailing its head off. Mun sighs because she just got off of a 12 hour backshift and her brother is visiting with his daughter. Mun buries head under pillow and grumps about being an aunt.
Aragorn laughs and pats his writer on her head.

((When you realize that Aragorn is 80+ years old and roamed from Rohan to Gondor making a name for himself as Thorongil-- and that he was good friends with Denethor's father. Aragorn knew Denethor when he was an insufferable teenager.))

((...this is strangely perfect. Aragorn's face is like "what" though LOL.))
(( … this is making me think of Legolas/Aragorn. Which makes Legolas Wednesday and the Line of Oropher the Addams family. ))

"You already are," Aragorn mused as followed her, thoughts swirling in his mind as his eyes studied the large assortment of flowers-- the part of him that had been trained as a healer wondered briefly what all their purposes to might be. What could their many colours do? He thrummed out  soft hum as he leaned forward, studying the bright green leafs with interest. It smelled like it would have a good flavor.
"May I ask why it has earned the title of your favorite?" Aragorn inquired, grey eyes thoughtful before he turned to regard her next words. He pulled himself back to his full height and smiled. "I am glad to have given you faith once more," He intoned seriously, before reaching to clasp a large hand upon her shoulder. "Give me time to consider your offer-- their is much of my home world that could use your talents. I would be honored to have you assist us in rebuilding it."
Warm Greetings

@Tolkien Group discussion
((To me, my main concerns are that people are going to end up elitist. They wont start out intending that. No group ever does. But its the secluding factor of 'only allowing one of each character' that starts riling people up. Because they weren't fast enough to send in their application first. Because someone else got there before them. Maybe they did want to join a group, but now they can't? That might be irritating a lot of people.
Others feel left out, which is never a good thing. Even if no one intended for it to happen. It happens. We'll feel lesser, even if no one has right out said it.
Its a part of human nature to want to belong to a group. There are securities in groups. Benefits. Even in our earliest cave-man days humans sorted themselves into groups with identifiable roles for survival. Because it was an innate need to make a pack.
But some of us like being independent blogs; some of us are going to like belonging to a group. I wish I could say this wont change anything in out community-- but that's a lie. It will. I've seen it happen to other communities.
I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone-- I just kind of making an observation? ))

A chuckle was given and the human clasped a hand lightly upon the elf's arm. His mirth gleamed in his eyes as he gave a light squeeze and canted his head towards the massing group. "Are you sure? I truly do not mind if room is as scarce as you claim it to be." Aragorn teased in good nature.
"Ah, but twisting words aside-- how do you fair, Erestor?"
greyasacloudlessnight, asknyoiceland, ladyoftheforgottenforest, theshipwright, and estelheirofisildur have all entered Imladris
Erestor heaved a sigh. “Already I am regretting such a poor choice in words. Perhaps I should not have greeted such a mass. I had assumed it would be obvious that residents, previous or current, have their own chambers.” Shaking his head in amusement, he snorted softly, drawing up an imagine in his mind of a young Aragorn buried in a pile of hay, fast asleep. “Certainly not. You are not giving up your bed.”

"Truly," Said Aragorn as he smiled upon the elf. "I think Imladris would still have room for me somewhere! If not, I would happily give that bed up for another and make my stay in the stables." It wasn't as if he hadn't slept in there in his youth many a time.
greyasacloudlessnight, asknyoiceland, ladyoftheforgottenforest, theshipwright, and estelheirofisildur have all entered Imladris
I am still unsure as to whether of not Imladris has enough rooms to hold so many of these visitors.
Welcome, and we shall find a way to make your stay, however brief, however long, a comfortable one.

Tiny fingers would reach almost automatically at the elf's robes, leaning into the arm that hoisted him up with a wide smile. "Yaay!" He cheered. "Me like pwetty lady." There would however only be a few minutes of time to elapse before he squirmed and started to fuss over something else!
MA!RP: Aragorn&Thranduil: Little Troubles
Thranduil used his hold on Estel to lift him up and rest him on his hip. Aiya! He forgot how heavy human children were compared to elflings. He took a deep breath then released it quietly. “If that is what you want, little one. I can help you find your papa.” Oh how he hoped that Elrond would be easy to find!! And if that wasn’t the ‘Papa’ Estel refereed to…Well then he was frankly in trouble!

bowofthegaladhrim:
He did not know why he had asked forgiveness. The words had tumbled from his lips of their own accord. Legolas was not ashamed of the kiss, nor indeed did he wish that it had never happened. Doubts filled his heart - but so did joy, and the memory of that kiss was seared into his mind. So then why ask forgiveness? Legolas could not say. It simply felt right at the moment to apologize for whatever wrongs he might have done the human, for any injuries inflicted that might still hurt, and, most important of all, the end that was to come of this.
Strong fingers wound themselves in his tunic, pulling him suddenly closer, but he turned from the kiss, so that Aragorn’s lips fell upon his cheek instead. Legolas pressed his lips together, turning back to regard the human. Then, drawing in a breath, he extended his arms, asking for not a kiss but an embrace, something safe and reassuring.
“This is all I desire.” The confession came of its own accord once more. Closing his eyes, the elf continued, “So long have I hoped for this that I can no longer count the years. I am yours, and will be until the end of days. Believe me, I beg of you: I have a greater need for you than for any other. Had I lost you tonight — Nay, I dare not think of it. I am yours, and always have been, my little songbird.” Legolas’ hands shook slightly as he laid them upon Aragorn’s chest and shoulders, tightening as though they would never let go.
“Only - do say you forgive me for the eventual end that looms before us should we continue, for I think that responsibility is mine own. I blame myself for wishing to bind you to such a fate, even if you would have willingly chosen it yourself. Just promise you will not what I am and what you are and how we two must end against me, and I am yours, to the edges of the world and back again.”
What assemblance of rough disbelief had found the humans behavior quelled slightly under the gently admitted words. Like a beast stilled by the melody of a gentle music, and almost ironic in how unfitting the nickname of 'songbird' was. Yet gentle could that human be as his fingers loosened from the tunic they had sunk into. War torn digits lifted, and instead wove themselves around the slender length of the ellon's frame. Aragorn canted his head to the side, resting his forehead lightly to Legolas' temple. Dark unruly curls contrasted heavily against sleek blonde strands; as if to further mock the differences between them. Between where they came from and where they would end. While gentle in drawing the elf to his embrace, the strength that laid behind those muscles was like fiber strands of metal woven into a protective shield. As if the human could, perhaps, ward away the pain of what their future could become. Rough lips pressed a gentle kiss against fair skin once more, but in a slow manner that lacked any further aggression. A caress that bore a simple affection in its depth, as if in both apology and forgiveness. "Such mournful thoughts plague you," The human voiced softly. "Is this the shadow that has always laid behind your eyes? Is this the darkness that has rested upon your brow in the disguise of your smiles?" He continued out in a softened tone that bore no accusation, but instead a curiosity. "There is pain and loss to be found in every love," Aragorn intoned with a strength one might not expect of a human. But Legolas would, of all beings, know the strength of hope that laid with in the heart of Aragorn. An infectious hope that could brighten the darkest night, and feed courage into his people. Even in the face of their own death. "What would make anything between us, if desired freely of the two of us, a thing to be taken of blame?" He slid stormy grey eyes closed as he pressed another kiss to the elf's cheek. "There are many years ahead of me, many more if I have you at my side." He reasoned. "I would spend them in happiness and joy. I would spend them filling you with a memory with having; enough moments to lighten the length of your eternity when it passes beyond the span of my own. A sorrow might find you, but if you take enough of me into yourself-- I will continue to fight it for you beyond the length of any distance that parts us."
((It took me so long to finish this because I kept /crying my heart out/ every time I tried to finish it. ;A; ))

"There is nothing to forgive," Elessar intoned seriously, a firm grip encasing the elf's own as he studied him at length. If history had been correct in all of what it told of this ellon, he was one to admire and respect.
"Your rebirth is a business belonging to yourself and your kin. Not the gossip of the many." A need for privacy in one’s personal matters he understood completely, no hard feelings were harboured in regards to that fact. His smile pulled his lips upwards ever more, and a chuckle was given.
"Aye, that little detail has not escaped me, I assure you." The mortal returned, briefly wondering how much of his relationship with Legolas the old elf knew. He would half to play that by ear. Leave it to Legolas to give him the tedious job of dancing around the subject! "There is a certain family resemblance one cannot mistake." He added, before a polite arm was gestured to the side.
"Your journey has been a long one, Oropher. Would you like to accompany me to a more private location where may converse at ease-- or would it more suit you to be shown to your chambers first?" Aragorn's expression gave no hint to if he preferred either option.
