“Ducks Fly Together” is a quote from the epic Mighty Ducks trilogy. A 90’s underdog story of a group of misfits who come together through friendship, determination and quacking to overcome all odds and win a trophy and our hearts!!!

These movies means a lot to me and the shop name is inspired by the feelings induced by this cheesy classic. With this in mind I have been working on some designs inspired by the films!! Please welcome the BASH BROTHERS!!!

Upcycling a pair a vintage oars / paddles found in a local charity shop. After stripping them down, cleaning and staining I got to work on their new design.

These were a gift for my father in law who has been a keen rower for many years and is an active member of his local rowing club. I decided to give new life to these oars as a decorative piece with the Peterborough Rowing Club logo and his name in the club colours.

Using carbon paper I transferred the design and used acrylic paint to embellish it. I gave it a final layer of sealing to lock the paint in. One set of old unloved oars in the corner of a charity shop to unique, personalised gift!
