And here we have art of dear little August. He always looks so sickly, like an underfed rat doused in rainwater. I suppose anyone would be, with a mother and headmistress like that.
Augustus Augustinia "August" Doyle
He/Him
18
Student.
August is the quiet, strange son of the Headmistress, Miss Emilia Doyle. He helps out with running the school and keeping the place tidy more than he seems to learn. He's kind, but often quiet and anxious. He had a conniving side, and is very intelligent. If he doesn't want you to find him, you likely never will.

First, me, of course! Why, hello, my dears. My name is Tio, or at least, that is what you may call me. I do quite prefer you refer to me as male, even if I seem like just a talking painted mask in a black mirror. We all have preferences, after all.
"Tio" [REDACTED] He/Him [REDACTED] Mirror. Can be found in a small handheld mirror. Normally, the mirror appears to be a small mirror with ornate design on the golden handle and a non-reflective surface that seems to be a black void. Occasionally, you may find Tio appear inside of it. He is a possessive being with a rich (English) accent and a penchant for sweet words and praise. If he takes a liking to you, you can never be rid of him, and he tends to call those he chooses "my dear." It can flip from loving to condescending in an instant.

Here we have a (frankly quite terrible, if you ask me) sketch of the professor William Uhays, a man of about 36. One of the longest staying and most loyal professors at Evanen Price, I truly do hope he chokes on his audacity one of these days.
William Uhays
He/Him
36 or 37
Professor.
A stern and often aloof man, he has an air of practiced organization to everything he does. He is calculated and strict, but shows much more faith in the growth and success of the students at Evanen Price than the Headmistress does. When he is cold, he can be like ice, but when he is warm and loving, he facilitates an excellent environment for achievement.

Wallsete and Sinlet
Wallsete- This country is located North of Sinlet, and is mainly one larger mass in the shape of a bird, with a smattering of islands surrounding it.
Melsbury- The capital of Wallsete and located along the country's southern coast, Melsbury is a thriving city with tall, stacked homes that often contain numerous family members all living together in chaotic harmony. The entire city is tight, with narrow shotgun homes pressed close together, oftentimes above shops. The city is renowned for being the largest place of imports and exports in Wallsete, and is a tourist attraction for Sinlettes.  Melsbury is also the only place in Wallsete with a known Academy, simply called Melsburian Institute.
Sinlet- A large country with vast terrain, Sinlet is the most explored land in all of the known Dardudell. It is ruled by Magick, more so than Wallsete, and is where most Academies can be found.
Prescott Valley- A small Valley town surrounded by woods. They are closed off to most outsiders, but are known for their simple ways and Prescott river, which is said to be so clean it can reflect one's future. It is home to the most renowned Academy in the world, Presdigenn.
Aexford- As city as a city can get, some say that most of Aexford's population are homeless, and the rest are just kidding themselves. Most of Aexford is falling apart, and the city can hardly support itself without an Academy there to support it financially.
Bassend- Bassend is a much more spread out, luxurious city, surrounded by smaller villages such as Kalligan and Ivory Way. It is the capital of Sinlet, and home to three Academies- Jonsen, Bassend Higher Academy, and Olfax. Many who live there have sprawling manors, and the Prime Crafter of the Grand Craft herself lives in Bassend, as well as Wallsete's Governing Premié, who oversees the laws and regulations of Wallsete.
Cossin- The coastal region to the farthest right of Dardudell, there are no cities along these rocky shores, but there are many smaller settlements and cliffside homes. The region of Cossin stretches into the bordering forest around Prescott Valley. Two Academies can be found there, one well known and close to the forest (Thelyian), and another butted up against the rocky shore on a cliff (Evanen Price). Few have heard of Evanen Price, and any who have gone have not kept in touch to tell any tales.

This is the first part of this world, and the most important to the story I am most interested in telling. The rest of the world may get it stories and finish being created, but this continent is the focus of the story!

The Premise
In a small, Victorian Era world known as Dardrudell, Magick rules above all else. It is said that all people have access to Magick, even the Spiritually Challenged, and can harness it to perform the Craft- the act of bending Magick to one's will. Magick affects every part of life, and those who practice the Craft are desired highly in the workforce, as well as in society as a whole. There is nothing anyone who is Spiritually Challenged can do that someone who practices the Craft could not do better, quicker, and with less effort… or so, that's what they say. All people possess a Spirit, the part of them that is tied to Magick and carries on even in their absence. Those who practice the Craft are said to have brighter Spirits, as their line to Magick is not muddled. Those who use the Craft illegally undergo a strenuous ritual that breaks or muddles their Spirits ties to Magick, making them Spiritually Challenged. From there, they are safe to place in prisons with those who do not practice the Craft.
Those who have Magick are almost 100% more likely to be accepted into Academies, the only form of higher education, after their 18th birthday. Most people are taught basic math, reading, writing, and home care until they turn 18, when everyone takes their Magickal Examination. Passing this examination proves you can use Magick, and forges a new life path for you. At Academies, those who can practice the Craft pick their focus, their Familiar, and are given a variety of studies to choose from. The many who fail their Magickal Examination almost never get into an Academy, and are labeled Spiritually Challenged. They spend their years working low paying jobs, struggling to afford food and shelter for their family members, and often live in the lower ends of cities desperately trying to make ends meet. Almost all homeless are Spiritually Challenged.

In the book, our story starts out with the young Evelyn preparing to take their Examination.
If interested in the possible tabletop roleplaying lore, stay updated for more, my dears. The "prepackaged" tabletop roleplay as originally planned begins after your player character has failed their Magickal Examination and been labeled as Spiritually Challenged. It has been determined you do not have a drop of Magickal potential in you, or at the very least, you don't have much. Almost two months later, right as you were settling into a life of hardship, you receive a mysterious letter addressed to you from an Academy you have never heard of, called Evanen Price. They promise to pay your way through this Academy, and teach you Magick- but only if you cut off everyone you have ever spoken to and move in to the Academy.
