hello everyone!! sorry i've been gone for a bit. i've been really really busy with school and i have duties to do that i lost track of time. i do have some drafts ready to post but i wanted to edit them since i'm not happy with the ones i have now 🥹

my only rest days are sundays since my schedule is packed to the brim until june, maybe july if my school's schedule keeps changing and changing

if the rest of their older siblings were busy and their parents were busy, lo’ak and y/n would babysit tuk. it’s not like tuk didn’t like it. in fact, it was a good day that the three get to hang out! she loved y/n ever since and she just wished that her older brother grows the balls to make y/n her sister already.

one of tuk and y/n’s favorite things to do when y/n babysits was weaving flower crowns. it was something y/n’s mother taught her when she was little and teaching tuk was making y/n reminisce about that beautiful memory. her mom is still alive, it’s just that she and her dad were very busy like tuk and lo’ak’s parents.

lo’ak, on the other hand, oh eywa, he wished he had the courage to ask y/n out. it’s been a long time coming but he just couldn’t find that extra push to go ‘hey y/n! uhh, just quickly, do you wanna go out with me?’ and yet here he was, watching his two favorite girls (don’t tell kiri—) making flower crowns without a care in the world.

the way y/n smiles at tuk as she skillfully weaved the second flower crown was just making him fall deeper and deeper in love with the na’vi. her voice was like heaven on earth. he wish he could just keep her in his arms and whisper in her ears how she helped him live his life despite it bitch slapping him ahemjakeahemahemahem.

he lays his masculinity on the altar of her maidenhood. that’s how much he’s in love with her. he would do anything and everything to call her his.

but for now, he’s more than content with watching y/n watch over tuk.

y/n loved grace for as long as she can remember. when the sky people first arrived, everything was so new. the metal buildings that kept the sky people alive were weird, the air in there made the na’vi’s lungs hurt if they stayed in it for too long, and they were all so small. humans are so tiny that they can literally pick them up like dolls.

so when grace augustine, a xenobotanist in her early twenties, met y/n, who had just turned 20, everything was new but the two loved new. this was the first time y/n saw a sky person after she was told by her elders to be wary of them.

despite being tall for a human, grace was still small to y/n. like a baby! y/n loved staying by grace’s side all day, every day. basically on grace’s side 24/7 if y/n didn’t have anything to do back in hometree.

if grace needed to get more samples in the forest, y/n was there to help her, well, that is until grace got her own avatar body. but before that, it was y/n carrying grace everywhere. even having her fly with her on her ikran at one point.

it was their kind of bonding of some sort. while grace’s avatar was being grown in the lab, y/n was just a huge cat following grace everywhere.

to everyone (who didn’t even take the time to get to understand the na’vi’s), y/n was an annoyance, especially during the time that grace opened a school for other na’vi’s to learn english. because even after classes, y/n would follow grace back to the labs but never long enough for her to lose her breath.

y/n just didn’t want anything bad happening to grace especially when she was not around. pandora was such a big planet and everything present in its forest would gobble these sky people up.

grace loved how protective y/n was towards her. even if all her co-workers don’t give two shits about her, she has y/n there to tell her otherwise.

y/n was like the sun to her moon, the light in her darkness. even if she never had her avatar, she didn’t mind bonding physically with y/n because what mattered to her was her love and y/ns love. the amount of love she received from y/n overweighs all the hardships she gets once she returns to the labs. 

maybe… maybe with time, she can leave hell’s gate and stay with y/n until they both grow old. but now is not a time. just a little more wait, okay y/n? wait for me.

when neytiri was pregnant after lo’ak, the whole family didn’t expect her to give birth to not only one but two babies. twins are very rare for na’vi’s. it’s happens but on very rare occasions. when the two were born, everyone in the clan was surprised because such an event was very special. a soul split into two to create twins, one of eywa’s special gifts.

tuk and y/n were similar in so many ways such as their bright and bubbly personality, their love for their family and the clan, how they love exploring the forest with their older siblings, and their curiosity about what was out beyond the forest.

jake was the happiest out of them all because they reminded him of himself and tommy. tuk and y/n were a perfect mix of him and his mate. the only difference that helps differentiate the two was that tuk had shorter hair and a mama’s girl while y/n had longer hair and a daddy’s girl.

the two would also stay with their grandmother mo’at and learn all sorts of healing paste, how to clean and change patches, and how to feel closer to eywa, basically giving them an idea of how one becomes a tsahik. although tuk enjoyed this, y/n wanted to become a hunter like her older brothers. seeing them learn how to wield bows and hunt beside their dad was the dream and she wanted to protect the clan just like her dad.

when tuk went with lo’ak, kiri, and spider to explore, y/n stayed behind with neteyam as they followed their dad around. it was all good until the two kids hears lo’ak’s voice coming from the comms their father had saying that there were avatars that are like them but were wearing something unfamiliar.

that’s when their parents and her older brother set out to get their siblings back while y/n stayed behind and was left with mo’at. fear clawed up her throat as she prayed to eywa that her siblings are okay but the anxiety her twin was feeling, she can feel it too.

after a while, her family came back. y/n immediately ran to her twin and hugged her as tightly as she can before she goes to check on her other siblings if they had any cuts or bruises, softly asking them if they feel pain anywhere. when they reassured her that they were okay, she then checked and asked her parents if they too were hurt. neytiri kissed her youngest’s forehead and reassured her that her mother was fine and that she wasn’t hurt. jake picked y/n up and hugged her, like his mate, reassured his youngest before setting her down.

whatever happened back in the forest, she could only hope that those things stay away from her family from now on. y/n won’t hesitate to raise her bow and arrow to protect the ones she loves.

when they left the forest after her dad had to give up his title as olo’eyktan of the omatikaya clan, y/n was devastated just like the rest. her life revolved around the forest and she, tuk, and the rest of her family had to leave for their safety, she couldn’t help but feel sad. that would also mean that they would leave her grandmother behind because she was still the tsahik of the clan.

it was a tearful goodbye but it had to be done. she and tuk haven’t even gotten their own ikrans so they respectively joined a parent as they traveled farther and farther away from the forest. sleep didn’t come easy for the youngsters. each time they rested their eyes for a moment, they were abruptly woken up.

just as the sully’s were beginning to lose hope, the bright, blue ocean greeted them as a few unfamiliar na’vi’s gaze followed them.

when they landed, the metkayina clan surrounded the new faces as the olo’eyktan and tsahik walked closer to inspect. unlike tuk who was confused as to why the tsahik called her sister and brother, not real na'vi's because they have demon blood, y/n hissed at the tsahik as she hid kiri behind her despite the height difference. jake immediately held his other youngest back as he apologized for her actions.

at the end of it, the olo'eyktan took the sully's in and practice starts tomorrow.

"what do we say?" jake pats his twin's backs to encourage them. "thank you." tuk and y/n say in unison before tonowari had instructed his daughter, tsireya, to guide them to their mauri pod.

on the way, the twins were in awe of everything they saw. they jumped around and chased each other only to be reprimanded by their mom.

once in the mauri pod, their dad called in for a family meeting, stating to everyone to be on their best behavior and to carry their weight. "i wanna go home." tuk says sadly. y/n held her twin close and nodded at her statement. they miss the forest so much. they miss their grandma so much. everything that they knew, gone all because of those selfish sky people.

but, if leaving what they’ve known meant that their family is safe, so be it. after all, sully’s stick together!

ronal and y/n have known each other since their youth. being in the clan where the way of water has no beginning or end. it only flows just as time had begun. being best friends, they had each other through thick and thin. when y/n had problems, ronal was there to help and solve them just as y/n does the same for her.

the two had practiced learning to become the clan's future tsahiks. the more time they spent with one another, feelings grew just as their knowledge of the world expanded.

y/n fell first. that's what she's proud of and if she can scream it to the world, she would. the beautiful metkayina was the reason for the strength she conjured to get by in life. ronal was the reason why love was such a beautiful thing to look at. she was the reason why the ocean seemed much brighter than it already was. she was the reason why everything just seems more beautiful than it is.

ronal, on the other hand, fell harder. her best friend knew her like the back of her palm that there were things that y/n knows that ronal doesn't even know about herself. ronal was the more serious of the two and only y/n was able to break through her thick walls. y/n was the reason why she smiled more, why she was more approachable, and why she appreciated life more.

when they told each other about their feelings for one another, it was like eywa cried with joy. life was filled with rainbows and butterflies. the honeymoon phase was so sweet like tangerine. but this relationship had to be kept under wraps because they had roles to fill in the clan. but they complied, for their sake and for the clan's sake.

but everything great must come to an end. after five years of pure but secret bliss, ronal was promised another metkayina, a future olo'eyktan-in-training. it was like the lens that made life bright was snatched away, only to show how grim the world actually was.

"did you know about this, ronal?!" y/n asked angrily as tears streamed down her face, her tail waving in anger as her ears were flat against her head. "i didn't know, i swear! i just knew it now and i would've never known that my parents promised me to another!" ronal was kneeling, pleading in front of y/n as her eyes were red from crying.

the metkayina standing in front of her didn't believe ronal for a second. five years. five whole years and then gone. maybe they should've just told their clan about it then maybe ronal's parents didn't have to promise her to another. maybe if y/n was strong enough to actually shout to the world that ronal was hers, then maybe they wouldn't be in this situation.

ronal moved closer to y/n to give her comfort, only for y/n to pull back and hiss at her. their eyes went wide. neither of them ever hissed at each other like this. as a joke, they would but out of anger? never. ronal was hurt by this. does y/n really don't believe her?

the future tsahik stood up slowly while keeping their distance from one another. her face morphed into an unrecognizable look.

"if you really don't believe me, fine. i'm sorry for actually trying to tell you the truth. you just showed me that you don't trust me like how i trust you." ronal moved past y/n without saying another word, not bothering to stop and turn around.

y/n was left in her mauri pod to sob her heart out. the future she had with ronal that she had made in her mind, now to disappear and never to be fulfilled just like that.

y/n didn’t blame tonowari when ronal was promised to him. he didn’t know about them nor why he was promised to someone out of the blue. but he had a role to keep up and he didn’t want to disappoint his parents or the clan. she couldn’t blame ronal as well because how can she? ronal didn’t know about it as well. but like tonowari, she has a role to fulfill, even though it hurts her heart that she would belong to someone she doesn’t love, that’s life.

life went on in awa’atlu. when the olo’eyktan and tsahik announced that they would be expecting a son, y/n was happy for them. the strong pair were blessed by eywa and she was sure that their son would bring honor to them.

how can y/n even give ronal a son, a child even? they can never conceive together if they mated before eywa.

but life still moved on. y/n never mated with anyone after ronal. it felt like betraying what they had before but she was contented with life as it is. it hurts to be in the same clan as the person you once loved.

so, when their oldest was born, she packed her bags and left the clan in secret. as much as y/n loved awa’atlu and its people, it hurts her heart to stay. in the dead of night, when everyone was asleep, y/n quietly left her mauri pod and went to her skimwing and fixed her bags.

y/n didn’t realize that ronal was watching her until she was ready to leave. “y/n…!” ronal calls out to the metkayina. she was confused, angry even to why she was leaving all of the sudden. ronal was just taking a walk because ao’nung had woken her up and now she couldn’t sleep.

the two could only stare at each others’ eyes, y/n’s was filled with sadness while ronal’s was filled with what seemed to be… regret? maybe pity? y/n didn’t know anymore. it was as if this ronal in front of her was different.

still, ronal was still as beautiful as she remembers. y/n was still as pretty and youthful in ronal’s eyes but something was missing. the twinkle that used to shine so bright in y/n’s eyes… she couldn’t see them anymore.

and here they were. they finally came to the end. the end of everything.

the two didn’t even realize they were crying until y/n felt her warm tears hit her now cold arms because of the ocean water.

before ronal could even muster to say something, anything really, y/n turns her head and left the shore with her skimwing.

ronal ran after y/n but it was too late. y/n was far away and ronal could only cry her name out as more tears fell down her face. she kneels down on the sad as the waves crashed her legs. it was cold just like the feeling she feels in her chest.

it really is too late. it was too late when she left y/n’s pod all those years ago. maybe if she had stayed, then, it could’ve been them now. y/n didn’t have to leave their home. tonowari would’ve had another mate. but, ao’nung would never exist. would that be worth it? ronal doesn’t know.

where was y/n going? she doesn’t even know. anywhere but awa’atlu. maybe this can help her move on. start anew. y/n from awa’atlu was no more. it was just… y/n.
