💀🕯 Ghost Water 🕯 💦

ꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀ On her way home from a swim in the neighboring ocean Raven made her way up the winding cobble streets of the small ocean town. It was almost night and the stars shown like glowing embers in the fiery sky as the sun set lit the above atmosphere like flames.

She had enjoyed her swim letting all her cares wash out into the ocean but the walk home though certainly beautiful was to her the least favorite part of her day, but then she was often impatient until swimming again. Plus, she wanted to be home cozy curling up in blankets already but first there would be cleaning and sand… lots and lots of sand to take care of. She turned her bored gaze skyward just in time, to notice a strange light reflecting off of one of the taller buildings. It was now dark the sky a black void and no one else was around her brief vision to the streets. She approached closer and oddly noticed that she couldn't determine a source for the light.

She stopped dead in her tracks as a loud wailing permeated the air, coming directly from the light. It moved! The light sped unnervingly fast through the air and her steady gaze almost couldn't keep up with it as it shifted and moved at a decidedly inhuman speed. It stopped. She noticed an odd pulsing now to the light and there was still no apparent source even after moving at such speeds through the air.

Her heart pounded faster but she made her decision and slowly crept forward, being fascinated by the strange and unusual. The light stilled and as she got closer it seemed dimmer and dimmer until she could almost make out a shape. It was slumped on the ground and her boot falls drew nearer until she heard it, that strange wailing sound froze her. Close enough now to see, the form turned into that of a woman, she reaches out to the slumped form but the second her hand touches what should have been the Woman's shoulder a snarl shatters the air, and her hand passes entirely through the woman.

As she turns around at her full height Raven is shocked at the fangs barred at her floating white translucent hair and… did she have…? Was that a tail? The woman floated ever higher, and Raven could feel her blood run cold the spectre rising far above her height like water was in the air itself and she could control it! Moving fluidly as though swimming the woman screeched like the Banshee, cried out like a warrior and flew directly through Raven's body and curved up further into the air. Raven felt cold where she had swum through her and whipping around, she followed here the form had gone with her eyes. She swam through a small Watertower and inside Raven heard a violent cracking spreading through the tower. What felt like two seconds later it started falling! It seemed as if it took forever in its descent she ran faster and faster so much adrenaline pulsing through her veins as she jumped and grabbed onto the ladder of a nearby building foisting herself up onto the walk just in time as the large tower crashed to the floor just where she had first been standing. The contents of the tower had been turned to solid ice, in the middle of summer. She panted staring at the tower, and she noticed a strange glow around the frame that looked like it was destabilizing the metal and may have been what collapsed it. She stared in shock for a long while. Clearly the ethereal being had immense powers. Yet Raven had this strange feeling like she was… grieving? Like she was picking up on her feelings… Suddenly the white light began to hit her eyes again and she noticed the woman was back in the same corner again… but this time the wailing sounded more like crying.

Feeling it was an insane decision after what had just happened but trusting her feeling on the matter Raven approached the now sobbing form who looked only downward cast at the cobblestone walkway. Raven pushed herself to speech "Are you a Ghost?" what a silly first question she thought to herself now she probably thinks I'm- Raven's inner doubts cut off as the Ghost looked up at her with the most unfathomable look of anguish in her cold dead eyes the tears somehow still streaming and yet disappearing in the air before they could quite hit the ground. "My name is Lillia and I have just died." Raven's mouth parted in shock at the admission and also.. at the beauty of her voice which crafted words as if a piercingly beautiful song. You look hurt.. she thought noticing the woman's side had such an injury. "A ship and it's crewman pierced me." The Ghost answered nodding to her. "You.. you can hear my thoughts?" Raven answered in shock. "Yes." Replied the Ghost in her pretty voice, her body starting to relax now as she realized from reading her thoughts that Raven meant her no harm. "And you could read mine with time and practice if I taught you… so could any who I trusted…" She trailed off looking immensely sad again and though it wasn't an appropriate moment for the realization, so she thought to herself Raven realized that she was beautiful. Her tail curled in on itself as she shrunk back into her corner between two houses withdrawing into herself and Raven made yet another insane decision. "Here" she said and offered the translucent Mermaid her hand. The Mermaid looked up at it and inclined her head to one side as if she didn't understand. Raven moved forward and intuitively thought of comforting thoughts to her and the Mermaid smiled. "Why don't I help you?" I have an apartment to myself not far from here and who knows how the village would react to finding a… a Mermaid Ghost out here why don't you come-"

"Yes!" The Ghost screamed and locked her tail around Raven's form clinging to her for comfort. "You.. you're solid." Raven observed. "I can change my form at will and I'm very sorry I attacked you I thought… I thought you were the one who…" She teared up not quite able to say it, but Raven somehow understood like she could already read her mind back and felt close with her. "If it was at sea when it happened, I don't think you have to worry about him being here, you're safe and I don't think anyone can hurt you." "I thank you… you are, very kind… for a Human." Raven chuckled at that. "Well I- this actually isn't the first time I've seen a Ghost." The Mer looked surprised up at her. "Really?" Raven nodded. ꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀ To be continued!.... in a million years whenever I remember to.

Waiting for a sailor to pass by.. or perhaps just relaxing, unwittingly emitting an ominous presence?... Their yellow eyes cutting through the dark with a deep golden glow as the water flows past a twin tail. 🖤 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ I was Inspired to draw this Siren Lotor by @kseniyache

🌊A Magic Crystal Lake 🌊

You drift slowly out on the crystalline surface of the water feeling the warm breeze and hearing the wild birds chirping melodically in the forest. 🍃 There is a circle of trees around you in the secret crystal-water lake and you can see the sunlight illuminating the veins of the leaves as they rustle calmingly in the breeze. The lake is magical and helps to recharge and heal. Today the water glows all beautiful shades of color which shine like an aurora after retaining the moonlight from a previous cycle. 🌘 Laying on the cool lake you feel the water's soothing magic comforting you from all the hardships of the day as they wash away into the calm atmosphere of the lake. ꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀ

All the fish in the lake seem to be more filled with life as they rejuvenate in the beautiful feeling. In turn they then give that feeling back to you in a powerful circle creating soothing energy. 🔮 It emits a faint glow and some of the fish almost seem to be making a rainbow. As they circle around you, you realize you are safe and relaxed. 🐟 When you drift easy upon the lake you notice the moon rises over head. It feels easier to move in the water now and as you look down you can see the glow of the moon extending to you, revealing a strong tail in a color that seems to strengthen you. 🐋

You realize you can move in any way you want in the water and can stroke through the waves with ease with the powerful tail. You notice the circle is back again and the fish guide you farther down. There is perfect calmness the deeper in the water you go. The sounds are peaceful and the Moon ethereal through the reflective water just overhead, barely visible streaks of moonlight fall down on you through the water's haze. ☾🌙☽

Gravity is meaningless in this moment of freedom. 🌕 You can twirl and flip and the stream of Fish seems to lead you upwards and upwards until you breech the water the silhouette of a Mermaid so briefly in front of the moon and then the shadow crashes back down into the lake with a joyous splash. Able to swim faster and more able than a Human counterpart would. Your tail feels like it's always been a part of you and perhaps it has, this magical lake here for you any time you need it.

The woman drifted down slowly, her tail aiding in her decent. She followed a strange glow out of the corner of her eye, swimming closer and carefully keeping part of her gaze toward the light. The glow to her back turned a bright color and flashed pink before a small animal swam out of it. It was a strange Fish. It swam up to her and the Mermaid could feel kind thoughts and intentions from the glowing Fish. Perhaps it meant to guide her as she drifted downward. ꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀꕀ

The Fish looked almost fuzzy and difficult to see as if it weren't really there. Another glow emanated from behind her back, and she could make out this strange oceanic orb. As she turned, she wondered what the orb was. She could hear the strangest music flowing through the water. For now, she left it undisturbed and followed the Fish. It wanted to explore deeper.

As she went down deeper with the Fish a soothing Darkness settled in around them and she could barely make out the most beautiful subtle shapes in the water. The shapes were glowing a dark rainbow of colors pulsing their light at different locations around her. Her Fish swam in front and glowed bright enough she could see the shapes they almost resembled Faeries yet were still Fish. They seemed to emit a pleasant magical energy and she could hear the music again. It drifted serenely through the water.

She lost herself in the beautiful music and even felt herself begin to hum a Siren Song along that she had learned from a Siren of the shores long long ago. It had been so long since she had sung it. The sound drifted melodically through the water, and she could feel the waves gently reassuring her song. The bright crystalline like sounds of the Faery-Fish chimed through the water along with her song for hours. Finally, they fell quiet and their bright rainbow of glowing lights in the dark slowly disappeared.

She decided to swim back home to her cave and return to the dark area on the morrow. When she arrived at her cave a single ray of sun flitted through from the surface, which she had never seen. She hoped to explore the orb more the next day and was glad she had a strange new companion as she lay down on a soft rock and drifted to sleep as the Fish circled and glowed overhead with a warm light.
