Picture Schweiden Adlers locker room after practice and stereotypical locker room talk. One player tells another (doesn't matter who tbh, they just background) that he should be put on a leash. Hoshiumi says something like "yeah, that's true, just wait, I'll bring you one tomorrow". There's some wolf whistles, but there's also our dear autistic Kageyama, who doesn't get it, so he asks Hoshiumi, why does he have a leash at home if he doesn't have a dog. So Hoshiumi tells him "my boyfriend is in vet school, duh" like it's obvious, but apparently noone knew he has a boyfriend at all? So they start grilling him about te mystery boyfriend (spicy details too) after every practice and Hoshiumi (who is very, very proud that he managed to date Sachirou) answers the questions. Fukurou (Sachirou's older brother and Adlers' captain) knows about Sachirou's crush on Hoshiumi, but doesn't know they're dating, and Hoshiumi never says the name of that mystery boyfriend, so Fukurou thinks that Hoshiumi met someone from Sachirou's school on one of their hang-outs, and he's breaking his little brother's heart. Naturally, he starts giving Hoshiumi cold shoulder and nobody knows what's going on (Hoshiumi is worried sick that Fukurou doesn't approve and he ruined brothers' relationship). Until one time Sachirou comes to the Adlers game and Fukurou spots him and asks if he came to cheer on his brother, but Sachirou says he actually came to cheer on Kourai. So Fukurou is all like "Okay, listen Sachirou, about Kourai...", but in the meantime Sachirou spots Hoshiumi and calls for him, and Fukurou thinks to himself "great, now I will have to watch my little brother's heart being broken from the first row". That's what he thinks, but Hoshiumi actually sprints to Sachirou and lifts him up (mind you, he's quite a bit shorter, and may be an athlete, but Sachirou deals with big, heavy animals on a daily basis, so he's got some muscle mass) and Sachirou is laughing and then they kiss! And Fukurou is flabbergasted, he starts berating Hoshiumi for giving Sachirou false hope and also cheating on his boyfriend! And both Sachirou and Hoshiumi are taken aback, because "I'm cheating on my boyfriend... by kissing my boyfriend? Are you okay captain? Maybe you should sit for a moment" - and that's how Fukurou finds out. He also thinks back to all the details he unwillingly learned about his little brother's sex life and gets a "kill me please" look on his face. The rest of the team also starts relentlessly joking and rilling up Hoshiumi by saying that he's dating his captain BABY brother.

Thinking about OiHina Brazil fling when they dance at a club and Hinata accidentally calls Oikawa "Kageyama" and starts apologising immediately, but Oikawa only grips his hips tighter and whispers in his ear "I know. You can call me his name if you can return the favour. Okay, Iwa-chan?" and Hinata just nods

Thinking about Oikawa Tooru (25) in 2019, freshly after getting Argentinian citizenship and becoming national volleyball team player, laying in bed the morning after particularly exhausting training, crying from knee pain, barely able to actually get up, skin on his leg tender and irritated from the glue from kinesiology tape, waiting for the painkillers to kick in, cursing himself for overworking his body and ignoring its basic needs that led to this injury in his teenage years, trying to convince himself that it will all be worth it, when he plays in the Olympics next year, in Tokyo of all places (he doesn't know that Olympics will be postponed because of the mistery virus, so he will be forced to wait for another year for his reward) (he will keep playing after, powering through the pain and pretending everything is alright to the point when he will rarely experience a day without pain) (he will keep wishing that he appreciated playing on middle school team without pain more, instead of fixating on being better than Kageyama of all people)

Thinking about that moment in Haikyuu in the All Japan training camp arc when Kageyama sets the ball and noone spikes it and then he says something like 'sorry, force of habit', but what if he said 'sorry, that was for my spiker, I forgot he wasnt here' and the rest is like 'tf you mean your spiker', 'tf you mean you forgot he wasnt here' and Kageyama is like 'oh you know, there's this guy on my team who I just completely synced up with, my sets are always exactly precise for him and he's always somewhere near me, so I just forgot he wasnt here. He would've spiked that set tho' and then Atsumu is like 'oh, you got yourself a boyfriend back home Tobio?' and Kageyama is like 'ew no, he's not my boyfriend' but he starts thinking about it and Atsumu teases him about it throughout the camp and DO YOU SEE THE VISION

Ukai and Takeda in a secret relationship bc of workplace rules; Daichi and Suga in a secret relationship because of not wanting to disturb the teams equilibrium; Asahi and Noya in secret relationship due to anxiety and everything being new; Tsukki and Yamaguchi in a secret relationship bc privacy is important; Kageyama and Hinata in a secret relationship bc they're embarassed.

Everyone so absorbed in hiding their relationships that they keep fumbling incredibly obvious clues about the other relationships.

*Tsukki and Yamaguchi, accidentally stumbling in on Daichi and Suga in the broom closet, frantically smoothing down their clothes*

Daichi: hahahaha this looks bad we were just...... uh.....

Suga: Cleaning! And I... accidentally spilled cleaner. Thats why I was helping him change.

Daichi: ....yes, that.

*Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, who stopped listening the moment they set foot in here frantically trying to figure out an excuse for what they were doing coming into the closet 20 minutes after practice*

Yamaguchi, panicking: Ok. We're here to count brooms.

Daichi, whose more concerned about getting out of this without questions and doesnt realize how crazy that is: hahha yeah there's like six.

Thinking about what Akiteru must have felt knowing that he did all he could, overworked himself, practiced to the point of exhaustion because of his love for volleyball and he wasn't even the reserve player, the benchwarmer (he was literally in the stands cheering for the team), only for his younger brother who trains only as much as he has to, acts apathetic towards the sport and always says how "it's just a club" to be a starter on the same team in his first year.

Definition of older sibling angst.

Not to jump back on my tsukkiyama bullshit, but the hc that yamaguchi's gay awakening (and first crush) was tsukishima's BROTHER. cracks me tf up. Imagine u have a crush on your bff and hes boy crazy about your OLDER BROTHER who betrayed you.

Thinking about how post time-skip IwaOi made their relationship public and in the next interview Japan National Team got asked if they aren't worried that Iwaizumi could be telling Oikawa all about their tactics and they all just collectively lose their shit laughing because Iwaizumi would rather die than let Oikawa win
