The last of the brothers, Hades. He is the most opulent of the Olympians and he is not ashamed on showing it. He is the businessmam type, trying to always strike a deal.

I know everyone portrays Hades as this softy, gentle, edgy emo man who loves his wife (see: the minthe on his belt) and stays out of everyone's problems. Nah, not in my verse. I like the Hadestown version of him being an industrial kinda guy, so here he loves his wealth as much as he loves Persephone.

Had a silly little dream last night....

Basically, there was an evacuation of this like... mountain temple/tribe. Thousands of people were fleeing, and I was given some item to protect in the meanwhile: a pretty plain-looking stone with some cracks in it that showed the yellow/orange stone beneath the darker outer layer. It wasn't glowing or anything, so it seemed more like a regular artifact.

I was guided out of the inner chambers, sort of along this secret passage that was higher up than the regular housing area where the most people were running out of, and I remember one of the people I was with saying something like, "Wukong is on the path of destruction--you can't trust him like you thought. You must keep the relic away from him."

And I was straight up like, no way, looked over the edge of the path, saw Wukong just floating there--menacingly--and called out to him to ask him if he was really planning to destroy the world 😫 And this man said "yeah duh."

I guess this was Evil(TM) Wukong cause he wasn't like any one I've ever seen before: he was adorned in reds, greens, blues, and of course, gold; and even though he had his headdress, he had a flowing red jacket tied at his waist in lieu of his red cape. His armor also had a "softer" appearance, but I couldn't remember what made it seem that way. I suppose evil has no fear of getting hurt, or something like that.

Anyway, it was kinda fun: I haven't had a dream about him in a while, and the premise of this one seemed interesting. I love my monkey a little spicy 🥰🌶
