Basic summary: Y/N’s cruise ship gets hit by a storm that manages to sink it, before she drowns, a mermaid catches her and does an Ariel on her, taking her to an island. She soon finds out she’s on an island of monsters that are after her!

                              ~FLASHBACK FROM 5 YEARS AGO~

"WHAAAAAT?!"

The Beyclub were surprised by Y/N, their nerdy friend was moving. Y/N is a nerdy girl, who was shy and was lonely for as long as she can remember until she met Valt and Shu. They went through things together a lot. They helped Valt improve his blading, getting new friends and a new club, but Y/N had to move away due to her dad's new job in another country.

She always had good make-up skills and was a straight-A student, she wanted to be a beautician but she always judges herself by her looks and people might judge her because of her appearance, she never told this to Valt or Shu. She didn't want to leave and she hadn't had the chance to confess to Shu.

Valt: "Y-You're moving?!"

Y/N: "Y-Yeah... Dad got a new job and we have to move, I might not be able to see you guys for a while..."

Nika and Toko suddenly wrapped their arms around Y/N's waist with tears prickling in the corner of their eyes.

Nika: "You can't leave...!"

Toko: "Y-Yeah! What about the finals? You won't be there to see Shu and Valt battle!"

Y/N smiled and patted their heads.

Y/N: "I really want to be there for you guys, but this is something that can't my dad's mind. I'm sorry."

Honcho, Valt and the twins were crying and hugged Y/N as Daigo, Ken and Wakiya were smiling sadly and had tears coming out of the corner of their eyes as for Shu looked at Y/N wide-eyes, he always liked Y/N when they became friends, he wanted to confess to her today but hearing this news, it seems like he can't.

Shu: 'I guess this is goodbye for now.'

                                             ~AT THE AIRPORT~

Y/N was in front of her boarding door leading to her plane. The Beyclub came as well and so did the Sword Flames to say goodbye to her.

Nika & Toko: "We'll miss you so much!!"

Y/N: "Ha ha, I'll miss you guys too, just take care of your brother for me and make sure he doesn't cause trouble, 'kay?"

Nika & Toko: "Okay!"

Valt: "Here, Y/N. Mum wanted me to give you these."

Valt handed a bag of Beybread.

Y/N: "Thank you, Valt. My parents and I will enjoy them, after all, your mum makes the best Beybread."

Shu walked up to Y/N and handed her a bracket he made for her to confess but he decided to give it to her as a goodbye present.

Shu: "You better not forget about us."

Y/N: "Course I won't!"

After saying goodbye to Y/N and some of them giving gifts to Y/N, she boarded her plane and left Japan. Shu was sadly smiling as he watched Y/N's plane fly away.

Shu: 'Hope we'll see each other soon.'

                                        ~AND OF FLASHBACK~

Shu, Valt, Wakiya and Bel along with the others were all at the Bel's training room. Everyone was there except Mao, she said she went to pick up her new friend, she also was a Blader.

Bel: "Ugh! Where is she?!"

Hannah: "Is picking up her friend really taking that long?"

Then the doors open to reveal Mao and another girl.

Mao: "Sorry, Sorry! Just picked up my friend!"

Ranzo: "Finally! Anyways, what's her name?"

Mao: "I'll introduce you! Come on in, Y/N."

Shu, Valt & Wakiya: "Y/N?!"

Could it be the same Y/N from 5 years ago? The girl walked in and Shu, Valt and Wakiya's eyes widen at the sight. The nerdy Y/N they knew 4 years was now a beautiful girl. Valt's and Wakiya's jaws drop as Shu's face dusted pink on his cheeks at his old crush, yet he never moved his love away from her was looking like a goddess.

Y/N: "Hello, everyone. My name is Y/N. It's nice to meet you."

Y/N smiled as everyone greeted her then she noticed Shu, Valt and Wakiya who had speechless looks.

Hannah: "Uh, are you guys okay? You guys look like you've just seen a ghost."

Y/N: "Valt? Wakiya? Shu? Are you guys okay?"

Valt & Wakiya: "WHAAAAAT?!?!?!"

Everyone covered their ears.

Mao: "Ow! What's up with you guys?"

Valt: "N-No way! Is that really you, Y/N?"

Everyone was confused.

Y/N: "Yeah... Been a while, huh?"

Shu: "You changed so much, Y/N."

Y/N giggled at him which made him flustered.

Y/N: "Yeah. How about we all catch up?"

Wakiya: "Yeah. You have a lot to tell us."

Bel and Ranzo were battling as Shu, Valt, Wakiya and Y/N were talking.

Y/N: "So, when I moved here, I went to a Beautician school, that I always wanted to go to but couldn't because of my nerdy self."

Valt: "Whaaaa!"

Shu: "How'd you enter?"

Y/N: "Hmmm, well, I saw a few students from that school and asked for a professional makeup artist because their last one moved away. So, I walked up to them and thought I'd help, they were hesitant at first but when I finished giving makeup to their model they were quite impressed with my skills and wanted me to be one of their beauticians, so I agreed. And when I helped them with their models I began one of the professionals. And I even changed myself and my style. That's why I look so different."

The three nodded at Y/N's story as Valt and Wakiya started telling her what they have been doing for the past 5 years. Shu couldn't keep his eyes off of Y/N, as she looked more beautiful than before. His thoughts were snapped out as Y/N voice snapped him out.

Y/N: "Wow! You guys must have been through a lot. I'm pretty excited to meet your new friends you guys have made."

Valt: "Yeah! They're really strong and cool!"

Y/N [giggles]: "I'm sure. Anyways... hey Shu, want to go catch up as well?"

Shu's eyes lit up in surprise and excitement, as he let out a sheepish smile.

Shu: "Uh, sure...!"

Y/N smiled and they stood and told the rest they were going somewhere and left as Wakiya and Valt watched them. They exchanged looks and smirked.

Valy & Wakiya: 'Shu's a simp!'

Shu and Y/N were walking around until they stumble upon a Beypark. They saw an ice cream stand and went to grab some, Shu got chocolate while Y/N got F/F. They sat at a bench and started talking about what they have been doing for the past 5 years and watching the sunset.

Y/N: "Wow. You guys must have been through a lot. Haha."

Shu: "Hmm. Yeah."

There was an awkward silence, between them until Shu brought up a question that Y/N didn't expect.

Shu: "So... do you have a boyfriend?"

Y/N: "Huh?! Oh, no no no no."

Y/N waved a hand in front of her frantically.

Y/N: "I don't have a boyfriend but many guys at my school asked to be their girlfriend and many others from other schools. And let's just say I made a few rivals..."

Shu chuckled at the H/C girl's anxious look. Shu kept a glad smile on his face as he muttered to himself.

Shu: "Well... I'm glad you don't have a boyfriend yet..."

Y/N: "What was that?"

Shu perked his head up with a flustered look.

Shu: "N-Nothing!"

Y/N raised an eyebrow with a smirk as she leaned in close to Shu's flustered look.

Y/N: "You sure?"

Shu looked away as he covered his mouth with his hand as Y/N poked his arm, teasingly.

Y/N: "Come on, Shu. Tell me!"

Shu: "Ha... fine..."

Shu looked over at her still with a pink dusted blush on his cheeks.

Shu: "...Can I... show you instead?"

Y/N tilted her head a bit, confused yet curious but agreed. Shu turned her way and cupped her face and leaned to kiss her, leaving Y/N in shock but slowly kissing him back. Shu placed a hand behind her head and the other one on her torso. They both parted away with a blush across their faces.

Y/N: "Hehe, that's what you want to do?"

Shu smiled at the H/C while he kept a hand on her waist.

Shu: "Yeah. And I've waited for you to come back so I could do this for 5 years."

Y/N [giggles]: "Of course."

Y/N kissed his cheek and placed her head on his shoulder and Shu placed his head on top of hers and they both watched the sun setting.

Today was Y/N's birthday and her boyfriend Riku was busy with his new job as a Keyblade Master and trying to find Sora. Y/N knew how hard it was to lose someone. She lost Kairi, her best friend, once before. Y/N didn't want to force Riku to celebrate her birthday since Sora was their number 1 priority. Riku knew today was Y/N's birthday and want to celebrate with her but he was so busy he couldn't find the time to do it. Right now, Mika and Riku were walking through Radiant Garden coming back from Ienzo's lab and checking up on Kairi who was sleeping.

Mickey: "Riku, are you going back to Y/N to celebrate her birthday together later?"

Riku stopped walking thinking.

Riku: "Well, Y/N didn't want to celebrate her birthday since we all are so busy and she probably wants to have Sora there to celebrate with us since it wouldn't be the same without him."

Mickey: "Hmm. Well, you are going to at least give her a gift right?"

Riku: "Yeah. I prepared a gift for her all right but... I don't know how I will give it to her."

Riku pulled out some kind of Keychain but it was a necklace Keychain.

Mickey: "Hmm. Just take your time, Riku. I know Y/N will understand."

Riku smiled at his friend.

Riku: "Heh. Yeah."

When the two arrived at Disney Castle they arrive in the throne room to find Minnie talking with Y/N with Donald and Goofy by their side.

Y/N heard footsteps coming towards them and saw Riku and Mickey. She smiled at the two. The rest turned their attention to the duo.

Donald & Goofy: "Your Majesty!"

Minnie: "Welcome back, you two."

Y/N: "Hey guys. Welcome back."

Everyone chatted for a while on what they might have found a way on a lead to Sora. Fortunately, they didn't yet. Riku and Y/N had to go home now but Y/N wanted to go to Destiny Islands.

Y/N sat on the tree where she, Sora, Kairi and Riku sat when they were kids and watch the sunset. Y/N was sitting there and looking at the night stars.

Y/N [sigh]: "Where are you, Sora?"

She then heard footsteps and didn't bother to look behind knowing who it is. Riku came over and leaned against the tree arms crossed. There was a moment of silence between the two.

Y/N: "How's Kairi?"

Y/N asked Riku without taking her eyes off the view.

Riku: "She's doing alright. Still asleep looking clues on finding Sora."

Y/N: "Hmm."

The silence then came back once again. Riku thought he might give the necklace Keychain to Y/N. He sat on the tree next to Y/N who looked over at him with curiosity. He stuck his hand out to show the necklace Keychain.

Riku: "Here. I know it's not much but... this necklace Keychain will remind you that I will always be there for you and I love you very much."

Y/N smiled and kissed his cheek as she moved a lock of her hair away as Riku placed the necklace around her neck. Once he finished placing the necklace around her neck. She turned around and kissed him on the lips. They both parted away and placed her forehead against his.

Riku: "Happy Birthday, Y/N. I love you."

Y/N: "Thank you, Riku. I love you too."

Today was Y/N's birthday. Shu wanted to make it special because today was Y/N's birthday. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend but wanted it to be special.

In a certain, albino's and H/C's hair apartment, the two couples were cuddling in bed. Shu woke up to the sun shining through their bedroom window blinder. He sat up and groggily rubbed his eyes. He looked down at his sleeping girlfriend and smiled. He leaned down and gave her butterfly kisses. Y/N woke up due to Shu's butterfly kisses.

Y/N: "Hm? Shu?"

Shu: "Morning, my love. Happy Birthday."

Y/N: "Hmm~ thanks."

Shu: "Come on, I'll make your favourite."

Shu got up to get dressed and head to the kitchen to make Y/N's F/F. He had something planned for her to which she was oblivious of. They both enjoyed a nice breakfast and Shu decided to take them where they wanted to go to.

Shu took them to an aquarium where they see cute fishes that Y/N likes. They went over to see her favourite fish, which she adores very much. Shu watches the cute expression on her face when she sees the sea animals. They left the aquarium but before that Shu bought a cute F/S/A toy which Y/N will cuddle later when they get back home.

Shu: "Where do you want to go next?"

Y/N: "Hmm. How about the carnival?"

Shu chuckles as Y/N gives him a closed eye smile. Shu pecked her forehead.

Shu: "Sure."

They both went to a carnival which was filled with a lot of people. Shu held Y/N's hand tightly as to not lose her in the crowd. They both played a few games, like pop the balloon, spin the wheel and lots of other fun games. They both went to get some cotton candy to which they shared and watched the parade.

Y/N [giggles]: "I remember Valt and the others were excited going here years ago back when we were still in school."

Shu [chukles]: "Yeah. Brings back memories."

As Y/N continued to watch the parade Shu looked over at his girlfriend but soon-to-be-wife. He quickly looked away as Y/N looked over at him with a puzzling look. The parade quickly ended as Shu decided to take Y/N somewhere that no can disturb them. Y/N wanted to know what it was but Shu said it was a secret that curiousity only got to her. As they arrived at the place which was set up in a picnic which got Y/N caught off guard.

Y/N: "Wow, Shu! You did all this?"

Shu: "Yeah. I also asked the others to help out to plan this for us."

Y/N: "Aw, your so sweet, Shu."

Y/N pecked his lips as Shu lightly blushed at the affection. They both sat down and ate a few treats Shu brought and had a big conversation until Shu finally sat up and kneeled in front of Y/N.

Y/N: "Shu?"

Shu grabbed Y/N's hand and pressed his lips against her knuckles which of course caused her to slightly blush. Shu looked up at her straight in the eye.

Shu: "Y/N. Ever since you came into our school and the first time I saw you, my heart skipped a beat and I knew you were the one for me. You always helped me and the others whenever we were in trouble. You always supported us whenever we feel down. Even when I became Red Eye, you stuck by my side no matter how much I pushed you away you still stayed by me. You forgave me when Valt brought me back. You always supported my decision and helped out Laine and Aiger when they went through the same path as me."

Y/N's eyes widen as she felt water appear in her eyes.

Shu: "So, Y/N L/N, will you marry me?"

Y/N's broke a huge smile and tackled Shu in a hug as they both landed on the soft grass.

Y/N: "Of course, yes, Shu!"

Shu smiled at her and hugged her tightly and tears were prickling in the corner of his eyes as they both let out a few laughs. They both sat up as Shu held out Y/N's left hand and placed the ring on the finger and they both leaned in for a kiss. They both separated and leaned against each other foreheads.

Shu: "Happy Birthday, Y/N."

Chapter 12: The Greatest Sacrifice and the return of the Book of Peace

Back in Syracuse, Valt was looking at the half sun. Many people were there to witness their only future king, die. There was a man wearing a mask covering his face except his eyes holding an axe. Valt kneeled down and slowly placed his neck on the wooden head-cutting board. The man raised his axe as Valt was shakily breathing, as Kento looked away, not wanting to watch his son die. As the axe was raised and it slowly came down but a small dagger broke the axe and the large silver axe fell in front of Valt as his eyes opened wide and he gasped for air. He stared at his reflection in the axe and looked up to see Shu and his crew.

Shu: "I bet you thought I wouldn't make it."

Shu and Valt clasps hands.

Valt: "[exhaling] I was.. [gulping] ...beginning to wonder."

Valt and Shu gave each other a hug. Valt smiled but realizes something that Shu didn't have.

Valt: "The Book?"

Shu looked sadly at him.

Shu: "I did my best. It wasn't enough."

Valt: "No."

Then Valt placed a hand on his shoulder.

Valt: "You came back anyway."

Shu: "How could I do anything else... my friend?"

Valt puts his hand down, closing his eyes and his head down. Y/N walks out of the crowd looking sadly at Shu and Valt. Spike whimpers, and nuzzles against Y/N's leg as she held him. Shu looked down sadly and slowly walked towards the head-cutting board, as the man had now a sword. Spike whimpered as Shu kneeled down his head down. Spike tried to run towards him but Y/N held him back. Shu clenched his fist then released them as he placed his neck on the wooden board. The man raised the sword, shining from the sunrise. Y/N squinted her eyes and hide her face against Spike not wanting to watch her lover die. Shu closed his eyes ready to accept his fate, but as soon as the man raised the sword down it shattered into pieces as it slowly floated in the air. Then everyone sees the sky turning black and sees clouds forming into a tornado.

Kento: "Get back!"

Kento raised his arms telling people to move back as Y/N moved back a little looking up at the sky, as Xander stood in front of her. Shu looked up to see a tornado forming in front of him and a giant Eris appears. Everyone gasps at this.

Eris: "How dare you?! Everything was going perfectly, and now you do this!"

Eris hits the wood and it splashes into the water.

Shu: "Eris, I don't understand."

Eris: "Don't play coy with me."

Eris tapped her fingers on the stone tile at Shu.

Eris: "Maybe you can fool these people, but I know who you are. You're a selfish, unprincipled liar!"

Shu steps back but takes in what Eris said.

Shu: "Wait a minute. I didn't lie. I came back. That's why you're here. This was all part of your test. I told the truth. And wasn't there something about being "bound for all eternity"?"

Shu crossed his arms as he solved the puzzle. Eris's eyes widen and Eris's hair moves away as an 'X' mark appeared on her left shoulder. Everyone gasps as they see Eris forming her hand into a fist trying to crush Shu but couldn't. Eris then sighs and slowly raised her hand down in front of Shu as she unclenched her hand and it revealed the Book of Peace. Shu then takes the book and checks it. He then gave out a smirk.

Shu: "Well, well, well. This has got to be a little embarrassing for you, Eris."

Eris [chukels softly]: "Don't push your luck, Sinbad. You're cute, but not that cute. And lucky for you, I've got places to go, things to destroy, stuff to steal. Ta."

Eris then disappears, Shu smiles as he then sighs then sighing, everyone in the crowd smiles, Shu looked up at the sky and as he was about to open the book he took a glance at his friends as Valt nods, Shu then opens the Book of Peace, Shu looks at it smiling and lifted it in the air as the light came out and the dark sky changed back to their whole world, then the crowd cheer. Shu was then slowly kneeled down and breathed heavily and looked at the book and Valt came over and lent his hand out and helped Shu up.

Valt: "You know, for what it's worth, I think council believes you now."

They looked over at the councils who had their mouths dropped as Phil's hat fell off his head. Shu scoffs as he looked over at Valt.

Shu: "You think?"

The crowd cheers as the Book of Peace had returned. Y/N clasped her hands together as she looked happily over at Shu as Xander chuckles at them. Shu walked over to Kento as he walked over to him

Shu: "King Kento."

Kento bows his head and stretched his arms out as Shu was about to give the book.

Shu: "Uh, whoa, hey. How much you got on you?"

Kento shakes his head with a smile on him.

Kento: "I offer you the gratitude of the Twelve Cities, and the apology of a king."

Kento places a hand over his chest, Shu chuckles at this.

Shu: "No, really. How much?"

Kento: "Shu."

Shu chuckles as he passed the book to Kento. Kento bowed as he and the Councils left the area. Valt placed a hand on Shu's shoulder.

Valt: "Come on. This is going to be a heck of a party. Everyone's going to want to hear about the voyage."

As Valt barely walked, Shu didn't move as he had a small smile.

Shu: "Fair winds, calm seas. Nothing much to tell."

Vat [chuckling]: "What's the matter? No fun if you're actually invited?"

Shu looked down as he looked over at Y/N, who looked sadly at him.

Shu: "No, it's just, uh... there's a hammock in Fiji with my name on it."

Shu and Valt exchanged smiles and they clasped hands.

Valt: "Good sailing, Sinbad."

Shu then walked away before he told Valt.

Shu: "Get a haircut. You're going to be king someday."

The crowd applause once more while Shuwalks away, Xander places a hand on Y/N's shoulder as he walked off then Cuza puts his arm on Y/N, as she patted his arm then whimpering came from Spike who didn't want to say goodbye. She patted the dog, Cuza wiped a few tears as Xander pats his back. Valt looks over at Y/N, who looked down and walked away from the crowd as Valt had a sad expression knowing what upset her.

Y/N was on the balcony looking at the seas as Valt approaches her.

Valt: "Just another uneventful day in Syracuse."

Y/N chuckles softly. They both looked at the sunset as Valt looked over at Y/N.

Valt: "You know, I stood here with a woman once. She looked over the ocean and wished she could sail beyond the horizon. She saw... such wonder."

Y/N's eyes widen slightly knowing SHE was the one Valt was talking about then she turned to the sunset.

Y/N: "And what happened to this woman?"

Valt: "She got her chance. She sailed the seas, and she fell in love."

Y/N looked over at Valt.

Y/N [sighs]: "Valt, I..."

Valt then cuts her off as he placed both of his hands on her shoulder looking straight into her eyes.

Valt: "Y/N, follow your heart. Mine is here in Syracuse. Yours... yours is sailing with the next tide."

Valt caress her cheek as Valt smiled at her removing his hands from her shoulder. Y/N then hugs Valt, sighing and with tears prickling her eyes.

Y/N: "Oh, Valt."

A tear escaped her eye as they continued hugging each other. Back with Shu and his crew they were preparing to sail. Spike was looking at Syracuse, as Shu walked up to him and stood next to him. Xander walked up to them.

Xander: "Captain?"

Shu: "Hmm?"

Xander: "We're ready to sail."

Shu narrowed his eyes, thinking about Y/N.

Shu: "All right, Xander. Take us out."

Xander: "Aye, aye, Captain. Cast off!"

Then the ship started moving, Shu narrows his eyes even more before moving away as Spike whimpers. He then walks up to the front of the ship and hung against some ropes, staring out at the sea as he stared at the sunset. Until some ropes fell on his head.

Shu: "Oh... Cuza!"

Cuza: "What? [chuckling]"

Shu turns around to see Cuza with the rest of the crew behind him, to see him shrug as the crew had a smirk on their faces. He then heard a feminine voice which he recognizes.

Y/N: "Excuse me, Captain. You need to replace these rig joints pretty soon. The mizzen ropes need the support."

Y/N was at the top of the ship, Shu lets out a breath as he smiled at Y/N as he gave her a grin.

Shu: "These joints were from the Jasmine Sea. That's halfway around the world."

Y/N: "Then we'd better get started."

Shu cuts the rope he was holding then he flys up and lands on the sail pole and walked towards Y/N as they stared at each other lovingly.

Shu: "Well, you know, that means going through the Hydra's lair."

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Shu: The Minotaur's haven.

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Y/N leans against the pole, listening to Shu's list of dangerous places.

Shu: "The Cyclops' Den."

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Shu: "Under the Swansea Bridge."

He then swings around the pole and they both face each other.

Y/N: "Mm-hmm."

Shu: Through the China Seas. That's a very long voyage. And it's very, very dangerous.

Y/N: "Don't worry. I'll protect you."

Then Shu and Y/N both lean in for a kiss, Spike barks at them and decided to join them. He jumped on the catapult and pulled the bone and landed on Shu and Y/N as they all fell with Spike licking their faces.

Shu: "Oh, Spike."

Y/N [chuckling]: "Spike."

Shu: "Spike... down."

They all set sail to their new adventure, as Shu and Y/N prepared for themselves spending time together through their voyage.

Chapter 11: Tartarus, The Realm of Chaos

Shu and Y/N entered Tartarus and they both fell down, and Eris's creatures watched them. As they were getting close to the sandy ground, Shu wrapped his arms around Y/N, then noticed that they were slowing down.

Shu: "Huh?"

They both land in the desert, they then felt the sand moving like the wave in the ocean and they both tumbled down the sandy hill and they see a wrecked ship, Shu held a protective arm around Y/N's waist. They both moved out of the way as the ship nearly crushed them then millions of warrior soldier statues surrounded them as they both sat on a rock. The soldiers disappear back into the sand as Shu helps Y/N get back up onto her feet. They looked at their surroundings to see ruined buildings. Then Erin's creatures appear and surrounds them, Shu kept his protective around Y/N's waist.

Shu & Y/N: "Huh?"

Shu takes out his swords ready to strike if any of them do anything. Then a gust of wind takes the creatures away and Shu's swords.

Eris: "Now, now, my pets. Is this any way to treat a guest?"

Then a stone chair appear behind the two as the desert melts away and they looked upfront to see a high chair with a skeleton. The gust of sandy wind surrounds them as of they were inside a tornado.

Shu: "Okay, I'm severely creeped out."

Then Eris appears out of the sandy wind, clapping.

Eris: "Bravo. No mortal has ever made it to Tartarus before. [chuckling] Alive, that is... [chuckling] Make yourself at home."

Eris removes the skeleton on the stone thrown and sits there.

Shu [chuckling nervously]: "Thank you. Uh... nice place you got here."

Y/N clings onto Shu's shoulder as she was being creeped out by Eris.

Eris: "Like it? I'm planning the whole world this way."

Eris gets out of her seat and appears in front of them.

Shu: "Wow, that's a good plan. Well, I see you're busy, so listen, we'll just take the Book of Peace and get of your way."

Eris [chuckling]: "What makes you think I have it?"

Shu: "Uh, well, you framed me for the theft, so they would execute me."

Eris: "You?"

Shu: "Yeah."

Then Eris gives him a look as Shu's smile falter.

Shu: "No. Valt! You knew he would take my place."

Eris [chuckling]: "What a clever little man you are."

Eris runs a finger down a column and it crumbles down.

Shu: "You thought I'd run. Then Valt would die, and Syracuse would be..."

Eris floats towards them as the column fully crumbled.

Eris: "Left without the next rightful king, and tumble into glorious chaos. You humans are so predictable. Valt couldn't help being ever so noble, and you couldn't help betraying him."

Eris appeared behind them and placed her fingertips on Shu as she pushes them away with an evil sinister look on her face.

Shu: "But I didn't betray Valt! I didn't run away."

Eris: "Oh, but you did betray him. You stole his only love. Look at her, Shu."

Eris then pushes Y/N as he caught her and they both stared into each other.

Eris: "He's not even in his grave yet, and you're moving in on his girl. Face it: your heart is as black as mine."

Then Y/N stood in front of Shu, defending him.

Y/N: "You're wrong about him!"

Eris: "He knows I'm not!"

Y/N: "You don't know what's in his heart."

Eris: "Oh, yes, I do. And more importantly, so does he."

Eris pushes Y/N away as she whisks around Shu.

Eris: "In your heart, you know that Valt is going to die because he saw something in you that just isn't there."

Shu: "No."

Eris: "You want to bet? I'll tell you what. Let's play a game. And if you win, I'll give you the Book of Peace."

Eris raises her hand and the ground crumbles except for the one Shu, Y/N and Eris were standing on and the Book of Peace appears.

Eris: "There it is, noble hero."

Shu tries to walk over to get the Book of Peace, then breaks the floor beneath him.

Eris: "Not so fast. My game has rules, Shu. I'll ask you a question. One simple question. If you answer truthfully, the Book is yours."

Eris appears behind him then goes in front of his face and taps his chest and whisks away but Shu had his doubts about her.

Shu: "Give me your word."

Eris [exasperated sigh]: "You still don't trust me?"

Eris clasps her hand as she looks at Shu with a 'hurt' expression.

Shu: "Uh... no."

Eris [exhales]: "Isn't it a pity we live in such skeptical times? Oh, all right. You have my word, as a goddess."

She then draws an X on her left shoulder.

Eris: "Fair enough?"

Shu looks at Y/N as she looks back at him with her hand grabbing his arms as he nods. Shu turns to Eris.

Shu: "Ask your question."

Eris: "Excellent. Now, we all know what happens if you get the Book of Peace. You return it to Syracuse and save Proteus."

Eris whisks over to the book and opens it a bit before closing it.

Eris: "But if you don't get the Book, you have a choice to make. Either sail to paradise with the woman of your dreams, or return to Syracuse to die. You're either a thief or a hero. So, here's my question, Sinbad. If you don't get the Book, will you go back to die?"

She then disappears in the wind. Shu looks around for a bit and looked down as Y/N looked worryingly at Shu. He then looked at the Book of Peace. He then smiled.

Sinbad: "I will go back."

Y/N exhales a bit. Shu takes a step and it didn't break and tries to get the Book of Peace. Until he hears it crack. Eris then appears.

Eris: "You're lying."

She then disappears and the ground breaks completely, Y/N and Shu fall as Shu then try to get the Book of Peace, leaving the Book of Peace as it is, Eris appears watching them fall then chuckling wickedly and disappears in the wind. Shu and Y/N land safely on a small island. They both stand and looked over at the gate and it closed. Shu and Y/N sat on the small island, Y/N opens her mouth to say something but no words came out and sighs.

Shu: "I'm sorry, Y/N. Eris is right about me."

Then Y/N immediately answered, more like snapping.

Y/N: "No, she's not. You answered her question. You told the truth."

Shu: "It wasn't the truth. It was me trying to pass myself off as someone I'm not."

Y/N: "Shu, I've seen who you are! You don't need to pretend! Eris trapped you! Why should you or Valt or anyone have to die?!"

Y/N's voice was cracking up, sounding horsey, she was about to cry. Shu turns to Y/N.

Shu: "Y/N..."

Y/N: No! You need to escape. Get as far away as you can. I'll go back. I'll explain everything.

Y/N stands up trying to convince Shu but Shu stands up and stops Y/N.

Shu: "No, Y/N."

Y/N then starts to let her tears fall not wanting Shu to die.

Y/N: "I can't watch you die! I love you."

Y/N whispers those last 3 words as Shu's eyes widen and Y/N looks away, as Shu takes a step towards her. Shu closes and looks to the side and opens them to see the ship. Shu shows a small smile but it fades away. Shu places a hand on Y/N then he cups her face and made her turn to him, their E/C eyes meeting the red crimson eyes.

Shu: "But could you love a man who would run away?"

Shu wipes the tear that fell from Y/N's eye and they both hugged each other. Shu looks up out at the sea as Y/N leans against him, sobbing into his shoulder.

Chapter 10: The Edge of the World

It was now nighttime. Y/n walks over to the rails and looked over at the ocean while Shu was on the wheel. Y/N looks over at Shu and walks up and looks at the ocean as Shu looks over at her before looking back at the star.

Y/N: "Shu? [exhaling] Thank you for coming after me."

Shu: "Well, y... you're welcome."

Shu softly welcomed her as they both smiled at each other.

Y/N: "This life suits you."

Shu [chuckling]: "Yeah. I wasn't made for dry land. [chuckling] And you? Is it the shore... or the sea?"

Y/N exhales and walks over to him and spoke.

Y/N: "I've always loved the sea. I even dreamed of a life on it. But it wasn't meant to be. I have responsibilities in Syracuse."

She then looked down sadly.

Shu: "You really have to give it up?"

There was a moment of silence before Y/N looked back up and stared out the horizon.

Y/N: "Yes."

She looked away as Shu looked at her sadly and sighed quietly then put a hand on Y/N's, then gasping softly, Y/N looks at Shu as he smiled at her then guides Y/N to the wheel. Shu placed her hand on the wheel as Y/N looks at him in surprise and smiled at him. And Shu did a head signal as Y/N placed both of her hands on the wheel and stared straight at the ocean.

Shu: "You know, I've traveled the world, seen things no other man has seen... but nothing... nothing compares to the open sea."

Y/N: "And is this what you always wanted?"

Shu [chuckling]: "Not really. When we were young, Valt and I used to talk about joining the Royal Navy and serving Syracuse side by side. But as we got older, our lives began to change. He's a prince, and I'm... well. [chuckling] I was never jealous of him, though... until one morning, a ship came into harbor... a ship with his future on it. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen."

Y/N looked at Shu with a small frown as Shu told his life story of Valt and him.

Y/[whispering softly]: "What was on the ship?"

Shu turned to Y/N with loving eyes.

Shu: "You."

Y/N's eyes widen as a tiny blush of pink showed on her cheeks.

Shu: "Valt met you at the dock. I jumped on the first outbound ship and never looked back. Until now."

They both grab hands, as Shu slowly leaned into Y/N then Y/N putting a hand on Sinbad stopping him, then they look at a comet several of them whooshing at the star, causing an explosion and a giant rock with an opening showed up.

Shu: "The gates of Tartarus."

Xander climbs up from the lower deck, with the rest of the crew climbing up. They all covered their eyes from the bright light. Shu went back to the wheel and sailed straight towards the gate. Then the water started to splash weirdly.

Shu: "Cuza! Give me a lookout!"

Cuza climbs up to the lookout post and looks ahead and his eyes slowly widen when he sees there was no more path up ahead.

Cuza: "We're dead."

Shu: "What is it?!"

Cuza: "I-I-It just ends, Captain! It's the edge of the world!"

There was nothing at the end of the ocean as the gates were far from the ocean.

Hyuga [to Hikari]: "Pay up. It's flat."

Hikari grabs the coins to Hyuga.

Raul: "Well, that's it. Time to go home."

Then Xander stops Raul from walking away by grabbing his shoulder from behind.

Xander: "Nuh-uh-uh. The captain hasn't given his orders yet."

Raul sighs as everyone looks over at Shu and Y/N.

Sinbad [quietly]: "Follow that star beyond the horizon. Beyond the horizon."

The wind whips, then the flags flutter. Shu looks around and got a idea.

Y/N: "Shu?"

Then Shu calls out making Y/N jump in surprise.

Shu: "Men! All hands to your posts! Free all sheets! Wait for my command!"

Crew: "What?"

Everyone looked at Shu as he was crazy.

Shu: "Now! Go! Go! Go!"

Xnader: "Eh, Shu, how-how are we gonna pull this off?"

Shu places a hand on his shoulder.

Shu: "Just trust me. Cuza! Rig the main yard to the fors'le!"

Cuza: "But that would stop us dead!"

Shu: "Just do it!"

Cuza: "Aye, aye, Captain."

Cuza jumps on the pole and walks on the pole, and grabs some rope and sings down.

Cuza: Whoa!"

Shu: "Slack to all sheets!"

Raul: "Aye, aye, Cap'n!"

Shu: "Cut the fore and main trusses! Move! Move! Move!"

Raul grabs some robs and tyes it to a hoop.

Raul: "I got it. I got it. I got it."

Yugo passes a stick to Xander as he connects it to a wheel.

Shu: "Aft yard astern!"

Yugo: "But that's..."

Shu: "Crazy, I know! Now hurry!"

Shu jumps at the front of the ship. Xander pulls down a rope making the sails cover the view of the ship. Hyuga and Hikari climb the pole tying some rope around.

Hyuga: "Here, grab it!"

Hikari: "Go!"

Shu: "Swing the fors'le to port! Ease the aft! Full hoist to forward sails!"

Y/N: "Aye, aye, Captain."

Shu turns around to Y/N who was giving a helping hand.

Raul: "Come on!"

Shu smiles at Y/N.

Shu: "Pull!"

Xander pulls the wheel by putting up the sail, then the wind continues whipping. Y/N walks next to Shu.

Shu: "Tie off all sails! All hands amidships! And pray to the gods. We may be meeting them soon."

Everyone got on their guard ready for any impact. They were closing in towards the edge. Cuza looks over and closes his eyes.

Cuza: "We're going to die."

The heavy wind blows the man, then gasping while looking down. The ship almost came over the edge. Shu grabs Y/N by the waist and pulls her close.

Lain: "Hold on! Grab the rope!"

The ship then started falling.

Shu: "Come on, come on, come on, come on!"

Then the wings of a ship open wide, with everyone falling down losing balance, then snapping ropes, then they hear a clap of thunder crashing. Before they knew it they were in the air flying. Everyone looked in awe.

Shu: "It worked?"

Xander: "Shu... [chuckling] ...you did it."

Xander smiles at Shu and so was Y/N. Shu looks at the gate as they were flying towards it until they hear a metal clang. Shu and Y/N turn their attention behind them. And all the ropes suddenly snaps

Yugo: "Grab hold!"

Shu: "Lain, hard to port!"

Lain then tells everyone what Shu said.

Lain: "Hard to port!"

Then Shu jogs over to Xander who had ropes around him.

Shu: "Xander!"

Xander: "Aye!"

Shu: "If I don't make it, the ship is yours."

Shu gives a smile to Xander as he grabs the ropes from him. Xander's eyes widen before they narrow.

Xander: "No."

Shu: "Gentlemen, it's been a privilege robbing with you."

Shu says his final goodbye to his crew as they all look at him sadly. Shu then turns around then meet Y/N's close up face.

Y/N: "I'm coming with you. And don't tell me the Realm of Chaos is no place for a woman."

Shu chuckles softly then wraps the rope around both of their waists and pulled Y/N close to him.

Shu: " Hmm. I would never say that."

Then they both hear Spike's barks as he wraps himself with the rope.

Shu: "Hey, sorry, boy. Not this time."

The dog whines, Shu gets up and then they both look at a light, then look behind them and they both looked at each other getting the same idea. Shu stuck his hand out like a gentleman to Y/N as she accepts it then they both jump down over the rail with the crew behind them watching, then they both swung to the light, and the crew went over to the other side of the ship watching as the two hit the light and the rope fell back with Shu and Y/N gone.

Chapter 9: The Ice Roc

Eris: "Enough talking. Time for some screaming."

She blows the bubble that had a picture of Y/N forming a piece of ice, like a ball, then shaking the ball. She then shakes the ball of ice like a snowglobe and raised it up as a giant bird showed up. With Shu, Y/N and the crew, the water turns frozen solid then the ice hit the ship the drool froze that Spike was drooling.

Shu: "For crying out loud, what next?"

Shu turns around almost hitting Xander.

Shu: "Oh, get a shirt on before you poke someone's eye out. Okay, guys, get down there and break it up! We've got to keep moving!"

Everyone got into their winter outfits and grabbed some mining tools and started breaking the ice blocks.

Cuza: "Steal the Book of Peace. [shivering, then he continues chopping] We will retire in the tropics."

Cuza continues chopping as the rest of the crew shivering, then Spike barks at something, which caught everyone's attention as everyone stops what they're doing and hears a whooshing sound. Y/N took off her winter coat hoodie and looked over at the horizon trying to find the source. Spike continues barking, then Y/N and Shu look over to see something moving. Spike barks then whimpers and run back, then a giant ice bird appeared busting through the rocks, it flys past all the crew and flew around the ship.

Shu: "Everyone, back on the ship!"

Y/N: "Hurry!"

Xander: "Come on! Come on! Move faster!"

Everyone ran back to the ship quickly and got on except for Yugo as he continues running, as the ice bird came close to him trying to grab him then he jumps in the water.

Y/N: "Yugo!"

Yugo gets out of the water, trying to climb up on the ice. Y/N grabs a rope and throws it to Yugo.

Y/N: "Grab the rope!"

Yugo grabs the drops. As Shu helps Xander get in Xander reaches for Cuza.

Xander: "Cuza, your hand!"

Shu looks over to the bird seeing Y/N and flies towards her ready to grab her.

Shu: "Y/N!"

Y/N looks at Shu then at the ice bird she tries to get away but the ice bird grabs Y/N, then Sinbad tries to get Marina out of the bird. But their hands slipped out as Y/N was being taken away to the high tower. The ice bird drops Y/N on the top of the tower, Y/N gets up and runs away but the ice bird traps her with its claws and tries to eat her but only got her coat as Y/N successfully escapes and hides under a piece of thick covered ice.

Shu was getting prepared for rescuing Y/N.

Shu: "Cuza! Don't let the blocks freeze!"

Cuza: "Aye, aye, Captain."

Shu: "And, Xander!"

Xander: "Aye!

Shu: "Give me a hug?"

Shu spreads his arms open as Xander looks at him as if he was crazy.

Xander: "Excuse me?"

Shu engulfs Xander in a 'hug' then grabs his swords as Xander smirks at him.

Xander: "Hmph."

Shu grabs a shield, then putting on the back, then putting a crossbow up, then whistling to Spike, as he grabs the bone, then catapulting Shu to the mountain, then putting a sword in his mouth, then flying up towards the mountain, then putting swords on the mountain, then sliding down, groaning, then shaking it off, then climbing up.

Shu: "Oh, she couldn't see the bird? Everyone else saw it. It's as big as a freakin' ship. Y/N? Y/N's looking the other way."

The ice bird kept looking for its prey as Y/N peeks through a hole then a hand covers her mouth as Y/N panics but relaxes as she turns to see Shu.

Shu: "Shh, shh, shh."

Y/N smiles at Shu, while in the background the ice bird kept breaking things.

Y/N: "You're rescuing me!"

Shu: "Yes, if that's what you want to call it. But this going to cost you another diamond. Rescues aren't part of the usual tourist package."

Then they both quickly sneaked to another pile of ice and ducks under it as the ice bird crushes their previous hiding spot.

Y/N[whispering]: "So, how are we going to get down?"

Shu: "I... I don't know."

Y/N: "What?!"

Shu: "I don't know yet. I'm thinking about it, all right?"

Y/N: "You scaled a thousand-foot tower of ice, and you don't know how to get down?"

Shu: "Of all the ungrateful... [grunting] Look, if you'd rather take your chances on your own, that can be arranged."

Y/N: "Shh-shh-shh-shh. All right. All right."

They both duck under, causing a loud rumble from the ice bird as it walks past their hiding spot.

Y/N: "So, what do we have to work with? Um... ropes?"

Shu: "Uh... no."

Y/N: "Uh, grappling hooks?"

Shu: "Yeah... no."

Y/N: "Your swords?"

Shu [grunts softly]: "Hey, I've got this."

Shu takes out Xander's sword.

Y/N: "Oh, great. He can pick his teeth when he's down with us."

Shu: "Yeah. Okay. See, in the hands of an expert, a good knife has 1,001 uses. Ooh!"

Shu throws the knife in the air and it hits the ice then the ice breaks as the ice bird turns to their attention and Y/N glares at Shu.

Shu [chuckling]: "Uh... Run!"

Shu grabs Y/N's sleeve and they started running.

Shu: "Come on! Faster!"

They kept on running until they see a cliff.

Y/N: "W-Wait, wait. What?"

Shu: "Let's go!"

Shu grabs Y/N's waist

Y/N: "No...! Oh! Oh!"

They continue falling and Shu and Y/N look at each other as SHu grabs Y/N bridal style then Shu uses the shield he brought as a ski-slide. They grunt in pain from the bumping as they slide down.

Shu: "I think we lost him!"

Shu jinxed himself as the ice bird appears at their side.

Y/N: "I don't think so!"

Shu: "Heads down!"

Shu grabs a shield and covers both Y/N and him as he uses his back to slide down the mountain and Y/N lays on his chest closing her eyes shut tight the beak snaps at the shield shut while they both duck. Shu felt his body cold from the snow and they both almost got crushed by the buildings that are collapsing.

Shu: "Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-Whoa! Whoa!"

They both passed through the fallen buildings safely as they continued sliding and they both exchanged small smiles then a small rock dropped in front of their path.

Shu: "Oh, no!"

They both go flying up, and the ice bird tries to grab them by the beak but failed then they continue sliding down. Y/N clutches Shu's winter coat tightly as there was a dead-end at the end where the ice bird stood ready to devour them. Shu then sees a cave.

Shu: "Lean right!"

Shu and Y/N lean right as they enter the cave as Y/N wraps her arms around Shu as he wraps his arm around her. They stop as they nearly drop from an ice edge in the cave.

Shu: "Whew."

Then the ice bird breaks the wall and Shu wrapped his arms around Y/N's waist and leaned forward and slid down the edge.

Sinbad: "Come on!"

They both fall down, then fly up to the other side, then they continue sliding down by looking at icicles. Shu sees a tight at the other side and brings out his sword.

Shu: "Hang on!"

They both slide around in a circle, then Shu takes the sword out when he stabbed it on the ground, then they continue sliding down as the ice bird continues chasing them but due to its large self, the collapses slowly in resulting killing the ice bird, causing an explosion, then they both fall down. Then the crew looks up to see Y/N and Shu falling towards the ship.

Xander: "Yep, there they are."

Hikaru flips the coin to Hikari, who had a huge grin on his face. Shu and Y/N continue falling down by ripping a sail, grunting. Shu lands on top of Y/N as they landed on the ship.

Shu: "There... [clicks tongue] just as I... planned."

Shu stopped in mid-sentence noticing how close they both are. Y/N chuckles softly as they turn the attention to the crew who lifted the ripped sail.

Crew: "It's Y/N!"

The crew helps Y/N up then Cuza jumps down and embraces Y/N in a tight hug.

Cuza [sobbing]: "We thought you were gone forever!"

Shu [clears throat]: "Oh, I'm fine. Really. But I'm touched by your concern."

Shu cracks his bones, causing a loud rumble by dominoes, then splashing in the water, as the crew just watched wide-eyed and jaws wide open then they all cheer as the iceberg wasn't in the way anymore.

Raul: "Yee-ha!"

The crew laugh and cheer as Shu and Y/N smile at each other.

Chapter 8: Anglerfish Island

At Syracuse, Valt looks out through the window of the cell then the door opens and Kento comes in.

Kento: "Valt, come quickly."

Valt: "What? Wh...?"

Kento: "There's a ship waiting in the harbor. A crew of my most trusted officers will take you far from Syracuse."

Kento grabs Valt's wrist but Valt pulls away looking confused at his father.

Valt: "But the ambassadors' guards?"

Kento: "Are asleep or well-bribed. But we must go now."

Kento walks away as Valt shakes his head in dibelief.

Valt: "Go where? To live the rest of my life in exile?"

Kento: "To live, son. I won't let them execute you for Shu's crime."

Valt: "Neither will Shu."

Kento: "Valt, don't be foolish! Shu has no intention of going to Tartarus. The Shu you knew as a child is..."

Valt looks away as his father complains and Valt interrupts him.

Valt: "Is still in him as a man. I've seen it."

Kento: "Valt... [sighs]"

Valt gave Kento a small and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Valt: "Go, Father. I know what I'm doing."

Kento puts his hand down on Valt, then Valt walked back to the window staring out in the ocean, then he hears the closing of the door, then locking it. Valt then sighs. Shu, Y/N and the crew land

Xander: "All right, listen up. We're here for ten minutes. You get lost, you get left."

Shu was in the ship inspecting his damaged ship.

Shu [groaning]: "How did one woman do so much damage?"

Shu's wood breaks.

Shu: "All right, I'm going to need the full set of chisels, the jack plane, and about a cord of cut wood."

Shu walks up the upper deck and tells Xander the list of things they need to repair the ship.

Xander: "All right, men, you heard the captain. Find some logs and be quick about it."

Shu leans over his ship and caress it as Y/N looks at him rolling her eyes with a bucket in hand.

Y/N: "Oh, for heaven's sake! You only need a little tree sap, and she'll be as good as new."

With that said she walks off.

Shu: "When I want your advice, I'll..."

Shu was about to tell Y/N but notices she had already gone walking away with Spike following behind.

Shu: "Hey, hey, hey! Where do you think you're going? Well, fine! At least take someone with y..."

Before he could finish, Cuza, Hyuga, Hikaru and Raul all walk

Hikaru: "May I assist you, lady?"

Y/N: "Why, thank you."

Cuza: "Right this way, signorina."

Y/N: "How nice to see some men haven't forgotten a little common courtesy."

Cuza and Hikaru take Y/N's hands as they all walk away.

Shu [mutters in woman accent]: "...common courtesy."

Xander was about to join the rest with a bucket ready in his hand before Shu stops him.

Shu: "Not so fast."

Xander stops and glances at Shu before placing the bucket down.

Xander: "But you know she's right. The treep sap would be perfect for..."

Shu interrupts him as he stretches his hand out.

Shu: "Just... stay with the ship."

Shu jumps off of the ship and went over to Y/N and the crew. The men and Y/N were all walking to find a good tree to get some sap.

Shu: "I already said thank you. That's what this is all about, isn't it?"

Y/N and everyone else walks up to a tree.

Y/N: "It's about repairing the ship. If I break something, I fix it. Um, knife, please."

Y/N placed a hand on her hip while stretching a hand out for a knife.

Shu: "Oh, yeah, like I'd give you a weapon?"

Shu crosses his arms and his men take their knives out. Y/N then takes Cuza's.

Y/N: "Thank you, Cuza."

As she takes Cuza's knife, Cuza jumps on a nearby rock next to Shu.

Cuza: "You know, you really ought to be a little more courteous. [chuckling]"

Shu punches Cuza's face in irratation.

Shu: "Oh, great. Now I'm getting etiquette lessons from a bilge rat."

Shu walks up to the others.

Raul: "Well, she did save the ship, Captain."

Y/N: "Why, thank you, Raul."

Y/N then cuts the tree and the sap started coming out.

Cuza: "And now she's helping to fix it."

Hyuga: "Very handy, I say."

Hikaru: "And brave!"

Shu facepalms at his crew's comments.

Shu: "This... girl wouldn't know how to fix a broken fingernail!"

Shu then starts to walk away. Y/N finishes collecting the tree sap and turns to Shu as he turns to her.

Y/N: "Honestly, you are the most boorish, pig-headed man I've ever met."

Shu: "Hey, lady, I've seen the highborn boys your type hangs out with... [chuckling] ...and I'm the only man you've ever met."

Y/N and the crew eye's widen at Shu as Y/N clutches her fist and clenches her teeth then Y/N unexpectedly throws a bucket at him with the tree sap covering him.

The crew: "Whoa."

Shu slowly turns to Y/N with an irritated look. Y/N looks at her hand then at Shu as if she was the victim.

Y/N: "Hmm. [chuckling softly]"

Shu then smirks and bends down and starts picking up mud.

Y/N: "Oh, no. No. No. No... No..."

He then throws it at Marina, causing her to fall to the ground.

Hikaru: "Five on Marina."

Y/N stands up with an angry look and wipes the mud of off her face.

Y/N: "You... you... egotistical..."

Shu: "You spoiled..."

Y/N: "...disrespectful..."

Shu: "...deluded..."

Y/N then grabs a crab.

Y/N: "...pretentious, pompous..."

She then throws the crab at him.

Shu: "...high-and-mighty..."

She then continues to throw things at Shu.

Y/N: "...self-centered, untrustworthy, ungrateful, impossible, insufferable..."

Shu: "At least I'm not repressed!"

Y/N: "Repressed?! I'll show you repressed!"

Y/N then grabs a rock ready to throw at him, and the island started to rumble. Everyone gasped as all the plants and trees started to disappear and all the birds flew away.

Shu: "What the...?"

They see a giant bright light pointing at them.

Shu [whispers]: "Put it back."

Y/N chuckles nervously then put the rock down. Then all of a sudden they feel movement underneath them and they see an eye open.

Shu: "Whoa! Whoa!"

Cuza: "Whoa, whoa..."

Cuza fall on the eyeball and felt grossed out.

Cuza: "Ew..."

Spike runs and lands on the eyeball and starts licking the eyeball. The pupil eyes Y/N, Cuza and Raul causing them to scream, then they all yell and eyes Shu, Hikaru and Hikari, then growling was heard, and a giant Anglerfish appears.

Shu: "Run! It's a fish!"

Crewmate: "It's a fish!"

Everyone immediately ran back to the ship. Xander was busy tying up a rope not knowing the situation.

Shu: "Xander! Xander!"

Xander looks at his crew confused then the ship causes a loud thud. A giant fin flaps.

Xander: "Whoa!"

The fin splashes next to the ship. Everyone was running as fast as they can back to the ship, Shu looks back to see that the Anglerfish was diving into the water.

Shu: "Jump!"

Shu grabs Y/N hand and she screams they both made it to the other side of the fish, Shu grabbed both of Y/N's arms and they soon were tackled by the crew, as Shu held Y/N close and they were all sliding down the Anglerfish and Shu grabbed Y/N's hand for her to be safe.

Shu: "Xander!"

Xander: "Got it!"

Xander turns the ship back to the fin. They continue sliding down, then they land on a boat's rope. Shu grabs Y/N's waist and grabs a rope and swings back on board the ship next to Xander.

Shu: "Veer off, Xander!"

Y/N: "The star!"

Then the Anglerfish dives in along with the light and the sky turned to night.

Shu: "Hold your heading!"

Shu jumps down to the middle deck and grabs a piece of rope that had a hook attached to it and slides across the deck.

Shu: "Cuza, tie it off!"

Cuza:" Wha... wha..."

Shu then throws the hook attaching it to the Anglerfish. Shu turns to his crew with a grin and spreads his arms open.

Shu: "Ha-ha!"

Then the rope was tugged forcefully.

Cuza: "Wait!"

Shu then flies to the ground and hears Y/N laughing, Shu let out a smile. Shu stands on the tip of the boat.

Shu: "Yee-ha!"

The boat goes faster like wakeboarding. They were attached with the Anglerfish for it felt like days. Everyone then started to feel sick.

Xander: "Shu! The men can't take much more."

Shu [groaning]: "I can't... take much more, either. Cut the line!"

One of the men uses their sword to cut the rope, then the men groan, gag, and moan, then they belch.

Crew: "Oh, no, Spike! Whoa, hold on, no... No, no, no, please... Oh, Spike!"

Yugo and the rest of the crew get puked on by Spike.

Yugo: "Hey, where'd he get the carrots?"

Shu went to sit down, groaning.

Shu: "Whose idea was that again?"

He looked over to Y/N who was clutching her stomach and covering her mouth from throwing up walking over to sit next to Shu.

Y/N: "I don't know. [chuckling] But he owes me lunch."

The two smile at each other and looked over at the ruin castle that they were heading.

Shu: "The Granite Gates. Bet you never thought I'd get us this far."

Shu leaned against the railings.

Y/N: "No, I didn't. But Valt did. For some reason, he trusts you."

Y/N walked next to Shu as he turned to the ocean.

Shu [chuckles softly]: "Well, what could he have been thinking?"

Y/N: "How did you two ever meet?"

Shu looks over at Y/N with an eyebrow raised.

Shu [chuckling]: "Running for my life, as usual. A couple of angry thugs had cornered me outside the palace walls. I was trapped. A sword at my throat, at my chest, at my..."

Shu picks the sword that held the ropes of the sails. Then the basement door opened open before Shu could finish his sentence.

Lain: "Pickles and eggs!"

The crew groans as Lain brought them 'food'.

Shu clears his throat and throws his sword away.

Shu: "Well, you get the idea. And then suddenly, there was a fourth blade. It was Valt. You see, he'd watched it all from his room in the palace. He actually climbed down the castle wall to fight at my side, and, boy, did we fight. It was like we'd rehearsed it. We were best friends from that day forward."

Y/N: "What happened with you two?"

Shu didn't answer as he had a sad look.

Y/N [chuckling softly]: "What is it?"

Shu jumped off his seat and walked away.

Shu: "We... took different paths."

Y/N watched Shu walk away sadly. Then the scenery changed as Y/N's figure was showing through a bubble. Eris was taking a bath surrounded by bubbles listening in on Shu's and Y/N's conversation.

"I'm Shu. I'm short and people tell me I look scary. My brother S/B/N, who is 3 years younger is tall and handsome. We're not anything alike. When I was growing up, my parents would tell me."

S/M/N = "Looks aren't your best asset. Work hard to improve yourself from the inside!"

Shu: "Okay!"

"And so, I got into a pretty decent school and a pretty decent company. I stayed modest and well-mannered throughout my life. I was 25 when I met Y/N at my new workplace."

Shu owned a company called 'Raging Bulls' Y/N was a new employee there and Shu introduced himself to her.

Shu: "Hi, my name is Shu. Nice to meet you."

Y/N blushed at Shu's charming looks.

Y/N: 'He looks like that famous actor with the rugged face...!'

Y/N was trembling a bit as she was entranced by Shu's charming looks. Shu had a sweat tear when she said something, he did not expect.

Y/N: "You're so hot..."

Shu: "Excuse me?"

They both went out and Shu eventually proposed to Y/N, which she gladly accepted. And Shu's parents were very excited. S/M/N grabbed both of Shu's shoulders and gave him a warning reminder.

"We went out for 3 years and got married. My parents were extremely pleased with the news."

S/M/N: "Remember, if you lose her. You'll never be able to marry again!"

Shu: "Um, okay..."

"My mom welcomed in Y/N as if she was a princess. She stills treats her like one to this day. 4 years later, my brother introduced us to R/G/N, a candidate for his future wife."

S/B/N and R/G/N were being lovey-dovey with each other as Shu looks proudly at them.

Shu: 'They're both good looking... They seem good for each other.'

They were all in a restaurant and R/G/N were chatting well and became fast friends.

R/G/N: "Let's swap contact information!"

"We were invited to the dinner party as well. It was a really nice dinner. But then..."

So after both R/G/N and Y/N exchanged contact information and the dinner party was over and they all went home. Everything was going very well, Y/N got pregnant, everyone was excited and congratulated Shu and Y/N but certain R/H/C wasn't. Y/N's phone dinged signalling her she got a new message, she looked at the message and made a 'What?' look and showed it to Shu.

Y/N: "Huh? What's this?"

Shu: "Huh?"

R/G/N [text]: "You're not pregnant with S/B/N's child are you?"

Shu didn't say anything as he looked at the message in shock.

"It was an unbelievable message from R/G/N. R/G/N kept sending messages without waiting for Y/N's reply."

R/G/N [text]: "No one in their right mine would choose THAT older brother over S/B/N!"

R/G/N [text]: "You got close to the older brother to get with S/B/N, didn't you?"

R/G/N [text]: "Even if that wasn't your original intention, I'm sure you had a chance of heart when you saw R/G/N!"

Shu: "Ah... Um..."

Shu was sweatdropping a lot. As Y/N had puffed cheeks and was furious at the messages R/G/N sent.

R/G/N [text]: "Just admit it, you like R/G/N too!"

Y/N [text]: "Not everyone's into the pretty boy type you know!"

Y/N decided to block R/G/N's number.

SCREEN: 'ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO BLOCK THIS USER?'

Y/N: "Block! I just sent you a screenshot, send it to S/B/N would you?"

Shu hurriedly took out his phone.

Shu: "Ah, um, okay..."

Y/N: "I don't want anything to do with this, it's bad for the baby inside."

Y/N rubbed her bump and had a tick on her cheek.

Shu: "Y-Yes, ma'am..."

"I sent the screenshot to my brother and parents. R/B/N just kept apologizing. My mom was furios."

S/B/N had his hands clasped together apologizing while S/M/N had her arms crossed with a very killing look. R/G/N came to Shu's house.

"After that, my mom shut out R/G/N. One day she came to our house, screaming at the door."

R/G/N: "Picking on your daughter-in-law before the marriage! You're awful!"

The next day, R/G/N came back but brought an audience.

R/G/N: "Who are you going to choose your parents or me?"

"On another day, she brought her friends with her and struck S/B/N withan ultimatum. She was  making a mess all over."

R/G/N bites her nail in anger.

R/G/N: "That b***h... She's pregnant with S/B/N's child. She's not getting away with this... I'm not going to let her have that baby!"

"She had some horrifying thoughts. Fortunately, our family was united as one. My brother and parents kept their guard up, she wasn't able to steal any information from us. Finally, she was found walking around the neighbourhood."

R/G/N wore a mask and black glasses while holding a voice recorder.

R/G/N: "Is something funny going on between S/B/N - san and his older brother's wife, Y/N?"

"Trying to collect evidence about Y/N and my brother, after this incident. Our parents called out R/G/N's parents to give an official warning."

S/F/N had a sweat tear on his cheek but was not pleased as S/M/N had a tick on her cheek. While giving a warning they had a shocked expression and bowed also making R/G/N bow.

S/F/N: "This is our final warning, if this doesn't stop we're going to court."

R/G/M/N: "We're so sorry!"

R/G/F/N: "Apologize to them! We promise she won't bother you ever again!"

"Her parents were pretty normal people. They promised us this wasn't going to happen again. Needless to say, my brother broke up with R/G/N."

R/G/N was seen lying on her bed as she crazily messed her hair up.

R/G/N: "It was her! She wanted S/B/N for herself! She even got pregnant with his child...!"

"I heard R/G/N was still going crazy over her theory. But when S/B/N sent her a picture of our son (who looks exactly like me) born in midst of all this... it finally shut her up. By the way, my mom said she went through something similar."

S/M/N: "When I married your father, people around said I was "after the money" or that it was a "sham marriage"! I was like "what money"!!"

Those words hurt S/F/N.

S/F/N: "And your face turned out more rugged than me. I knew you'd struggle with it in the future. That's why we told you over and over again to improve yourself from the inside. But I guess, no matter how good or bad your face is. You'll struggle either way."

S/M/B: "ARGH!!!!!"

S/F/N [whispers]: "That's why your mom flips out when people say things about your face."

Shu: "Uh..."

S/B/N: "I see..."

"Things went back to normal our rugged-face son is growing up just fine."

Shu and Y/N were watching their son play with his toy car. Y/N was fangirling over her son while taking photos.

Y/N: "He's so adorable!"

S/N: "Ga-!"

Y/N: "He looks like a mafia boss!"

Shu had a sweet tear.

"When he gets a bit older, I'm planning on having the same talk my parents had with me when I was young."

Chapter 7: The Dragon's Teeth and the Sirens song

Y/N uses a dagger to take out the nails as they drop on the ground then she kicks the door as it lays flat, then throwing the dagger away, she then looks over at Spike.

Y/N: "Oh, come on. You look great."

Spike whimpers, then walking out with a pink boy tied on his head because there is a bump on his head, then Marina runs out, then Spike shakes off with a bow as he follows Y/N. Y/N walks up on the dock and unties her (long/medium/short) hair out.

Xander: "Look lively! Yugo, get the long poles!"

Xander passes the poles and turns around almost hitting Y/N.

Yugo: "Oh, pardon me, milady."

He then walks off as Y/N looks up to see a dark area, where she sees tall rocks and the dark clouds looking twisted. The crew giving each others orders.

Honcho: "Hey, we need a pole over here. Hyuga, one over here. Yeah, come on, come on."

Y/N recognise the area.

Y/N: "The Dragon's Teeth?"

She hears a cough and sees Cuza jumping down and faces Y/N upside down surprising her.

Rat: "Indeed, signorina. Only the most foolish of captains would dare to sail a ship through this!"

Shu: "Rat, reef the fores'le."

Cuza: "Oh, ex-excuse me, signorina."

Cuza goes back up. And Y/N turns around and walks up to Shu.

Y/N: "Are you sure you know what...?"

She asks a question before she gets interrupted.

Shu: "Yes, we've done this kind of thing before."

Y/N: "Look..."

Shu: "No, there is no other way."

Y/N: "But..."

Shu: "And, yes, you have my permission to stand there quietly and get a free lesson in sailing."

Y/N: "You know...'

Shu: "Besides, a ship is no place for a woman."

Y/N gasps in disbelief as Shu offended her.

Shu: "Hyuga! Easy on the main!"

Hyuga: "Aye!"

Y/N groans and calms herself as the ship enters the cave. As they enter the sail bumps onto a wall as rocks crumble down. Y/N looks around nervously. Lain and Raul was rowing the ship from the front.

Sinbad: "Steady as she goes."

Cuza was on a lookout as he spots a few rocks blocking their path.

Cuza: "Rocks off the starboard bow!"

Shu turns the wheel, then they hear a soft singing, then the skulls clatter.

Shu: "Steady."

The ship turns and a graveyard of ships, broken were everywhere, Shu and Y/N look at the wooden woman on the boat as she had tears coming out from her eyes. The Sirens, who were waiting for them, continue singing, then the water continues dripping. Y/N walks over to the edge of the ship listening to the song.

Y/N: "What is that sound?"

Shu: "Shh."

The water tinkles, then the Sirens sing. Y/N sees women figures coming out of the wooden women's from the ship, they sing Shu's name. Her eyes widen as more Siren's appear. She rushes of to Shu.

Y/N: "Shu, I..."

Y/N tries to grab Shu's attention but his eyes were dazed at the Siren's song and so were the crew. Spike barks at the water as Y/N looks over at the edge to see Sirens swimming.

Y/N: "Sirens."

The Sirens dive in the water, then jumping in the water, then they continue swimming as the crew tries to, then they both look at the Sirens as they smile evilly showing their sharp teeth. Y/N rushes to Shu's side shaking him.

Y/N: "Shu."

They both go down in a stream and the ship bumps into the rocks as Y/N bumps into Shu. Y/N waves a hand in front of his face.

Y/N: "Shu! Hyuga? Hikaru?"

Hyuga and Hikaru were dancing around not hearing Y/N's voice. Hyuga accidentally kisses Hikaru's armpit. The Raul rips off his shirt.

Raul: "Come and get it, ladies!"

Y/N: "Xander?"

Xander: "Come with me. We'll speak of love."

Cuza: "Oh..."

Cuza blows kisses as he swings then he hits the pole.

Shu: "Who's bad? Shu-bad."

Shu points as Y/N groans in annoyance as she sticks her hand out.

Y/N: "Ah... men."

The Sirens continue singing and jump onto some boulders, Y/N then grabs Shu's foot and pulls him away from the wheel, causing the wheel to spin and turning the ship around, then hit the rock, Y/N then holds the wheel. The Sirens jump outstretching their hands out, then the crew all sigh in entranced by the Siren's songs, then the Sirens continue singing, then splashing at the men.

Hyuga: "I saw her first!"

Hikaru grunts as Hyuga pushes his face away, then Marina looks around then at Spike who was looking over at a sleeping Shu on the ground, she then grabs the rope and passes it to Spike.

Y/N: "Round the deck! Now!"

Spike uses a rope to tie the men around before they get any closer to the Sirens. Y/N smiles before she here's Cuza.

Cuza: "Amore! Amore! Amore! My darling."

Cuza was swinging to the front of the ship.

Y/N: "Cuza!"

Cuza: "I love you."

A Siren pops out of the water, singing, and grabs his face then Y/N picks Shu up and uses him as a weight holder on the wheel and grabbing the wheel having from the pole.

Cuza: "Il mare e le onde andiamo via."

Cuza lets go of the rope, then splashing into the water, then Y/N throws the rope up into the air, as the Siren hugs Cuza, singing, as he tries to get her off, Y/N then swings above Cuza and the Siren, then grabbing Cuza with a hook and pulling him out of the water leaving him hanging, then the Siren appears at Shu, taking Shu away.

Y/N: "Spike!"

Spike chomps Shu's butt as he nearly jumps off the edge.

Shu: "Ow!"

Spike takes Shu back to the boat as the Siren tries to grab him, then another Siren appears and kisses his face, then the ship goes faster, then rolling down a waterfall, Y/N loses her balance and landed on Shu and the Siren disappears into a pile of water hugging Sinbad, kissing him as she tries to get him off, as Shu didn't let go she then punches Shu in the face and he lands on the table, then Y/N wipes her lips by the back of her hand. Y/N gasps as she sees the end, where a wrecked ship breaks into pieces by a pointed rock, by a gust of wind, then Shu falls down from the table as Y/N goes up the stairs, then grabbing the wheel. She looks at the ship and the sky where the Sirens were.

Y/N: "Spike, the blades!"

Spike jumps on Shu, then pulling the switch, Y/N spinning the wheel, then going up the ship. The ship's wood breaks apart then wood is thrown at Shu's face as Y/N smiles as they were nearly out, then the Sirens scream. The ship lands safely on the water, with the fish flying away, Y/N sighs and moves a bang of hair away from her face she then grabs the wheel. Shu coughs, then getting up, looking at an island, then groaning and sighing as he sees Y/N on the wheel.

Honcho: "Oh, my precious."

Lain punches the fish away.

Lain: "Wake up, you idiot!"

Everyone slowly comes back to themselves as they get up.

Yugo: "What happened?"

Hyuga: "Shu saved us?"

Cuza: "No, Y/N."

Crewmembers: "Y/N saved us? Y/N! Y/N saved us."

Xander: "All right, men, snap out of it. Let's get back to reality. We got a ship to sail."

Shu and Spike walk up to the upper deck.

Y/N: "Here's my little hero. You were so brave. Yeah. What a good dog."

Y/N pets Spike.

Shu: "Uh... Uh... [clears throat]"

Shu couldn't find the words to speak to Y/N.

Y/N: "Still think a ship's no place for a woman?"

Y/N looks at Shu with a grin. Shu was taken aback

Shu [huffs]: "Absolutely!"

Y/N steps back at Shu's outburst as Spike whines.

Shu: "I mean, look at my ship! This railing was hand-carved mahogany! And here! These moldings came all the way from Damascus! Do you have any idea what I went through to steal these? [scoffs] That's exactly why women shouldn't drive."

Y/N: "Are you crazy? I saved your life!"

Y/N places her hands on her hips.

Shu: "Oh, I would've been fine. I always am."

Shu moves Y/N out of the way taking the wheel.

Y/N: "Right. So ungrateful. It's just typical."

Y/N whispers to herself as she walks down and heading to her bunk.

Shu: "And you chipped the paint! Right here, look at it. That's more than a little scratch."

Y/N grips the doors and grunts, then closing the doors. The crew looks sadly then looks at their captain then Spike barks, then snorting and whining, Shu then grunting angrily.

Shu: "The dog and the crew and th-th-that woman!"

Shu knocks at the door and stops waiting for a respons, then looking at the men, who crosses their arms, then he continues knocking. Y/N opens the door with an angry look.

Y/N: "What?!"

Shu: "Thank you!"

Y/N: "You're welcome!"

Shu: "No problem!"

Y/N: "Don't worry about it!'

Shu: "I won't!"

Y/N: "Good!"

Shu: "Good-bye!"

Y/N: "Bye to you!"

She then closes the door, then Shu huffs as he turns to his crew, as they murmur while walking away, then he hears Spike panting.

Shu: "You happy now?"

Spike continues panting, then Shu scoffs, then walking away, with the pants torn at the back, Spike looks away.

I was watching the news, about the red string. It said it will help you find your soulmate. The red string can't be cut unless the soulmates love is fading away from you and has found another soulmate. The string can't be cut by someone else when your love is strong. I was hoping my soulmate would be Y/N. The way her H/C flows in the wind, she's even more beautiful as the cherry blossom flowers fall on her. Her E/C eyes shining under the moonlight. Who wouldn't want such a beautiful girl like her? I just my fangirls won't go crazy enough to try and cut my string unless my love for Y/N and maybe her love for me will be strong enough to keep us together. My face flushed at the thought of that.

I had a red string appeared this morning on my pinkie. Luckily none of them was attached to my fangirls, but they suddenly crowded me and Lain, later he got annoyed and successfully escaped the crowd of my fangirls.

"Shu! Who's you're soulmate?"

"It's me right?!"

"No! It's me!"

"Hey! Let me see if our strings are attached to each other pinkies!"

I could see in the distance, Valt and the others are watching me in the distance, sweatdropping and couldn't do anything. I just sighed. Just then, I suddenly felt my string being pulled and bumped into someone who was attached to my finger, to see a H/C hair. I knew who exactly this person was. I blushed to see our strings attached. She held my hand and looked sternly at my fangirls.

Y/N: "Ahem. Ah, I think he's MY soulmate. You guys can't do anything about that."

I hear my fangirls growl and they stormed off until there was no one there.

Y/N [sigh]: "You okay, Shu?"

"Uh... yeah, thanks for that."

Y/N: "Why don't we go inside. The others seemed to have left as your fangirls left."

Shu: "Yeah..."

I looked away as I couldn't meet her eyes, I didn't have the courage to. I felt her hands squeezed my hand.

Y/N: "What's wrong?"

"Well... I never expected my crush to be my soulmate."

Y/N [giggles]: "Aww. You're so cute, Shu."

Y/N cupped my face and pecked my lips. Even with that short kiss, I felt my face burn up. Y/N giggled even more. I wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my face in the crook of her neck still feeling my face burning. And she did the same.

Y/N: "I love you, Shu."

I froze for a second before tightened my wrapping around her.

"I love you too, Y/N."

Chapter 6: An uninvited guest

Shu went back to his ship and he and his crew sailed away. It was night so, Cuza was blowing a torch, then lighting it up around the ship, then going down while swinging, then lights another one, then lighting all of the candle wicks. Cuza lit Xander's light, as he looked over at the ocean.

Xander: "Hmm."

Xander looks over at Shu who is looking at the star and walked over to him along by grabbing the torch.

Xander: "So, any idea how we actually get to Tartarus?"

He pulled out a map and looked at it.

Shu: "Tartarus? [chuckling] Oh, no, no, no, no. People get killed in Tartarus."

Xander: "So where are we going?"

Shu slams another map on the other map Xander had.

Shu: "Fiji."

Xander crosses his arms as he smirked at Shu.

Xander: "Fiji? This time of year?"

Shu placed his hands behind his head.

Shu: "Think of the beaches."

Xander: "Oh, beautiful, if you like mosquitoes."

Xander slaps his neck as he felt something on it.

Shu: "Think of the sun."

Xander uncrosses his arms.

Xander: "It's monsoon season."

Shu: "Oh, then the women."

Xander placed a hand on his shoulder.

Xander: "They're cannibals, Shu."

Shu: "Exactly."

Xander throws his head back and groans and walks off.

Shu: "Come on, Xander."

Xander: "He's your friend."

Shu: "Listen to you. You sound like my mother. Valt will be fine."

Xander: "You're sure of that?"

Xander places his fists on his hips with a raised eyebrow.

Shu: "You and I both know Kento is not going to let them execute his only son."

Xander: "So we're running away?"

Xander said that as he waves a hand.

Shu: "We're retiring. We don't need another score. We've got enough. Now, set a course for Fiji."

Shu turned to his crew.

Shu: "Gentlemen, we're heading to Fiji!"

Hyuga: "Fiji! Fiji!"

Shu went to a door that led down to his room.

Shu: "Xander... Book."

Then opened another door with three swords on the target on the back.

Shu: "Valt."

When he opened it he stops himself as he sees a familiar H/C haired woman in his room looking around his collection.

Y/N: "Look at all this. I can't believe it. Oh, but this can't be real. It'd be far too deli..."

She touches the skeleton and a tiny bone of its parts off of it.

Y/N: "Uh-oh."

She then turns around and sees something on a desk.

Y/N: "This is more like it. Stolen from Venezia."

Shu exhales, before getting into his calm composure then getting in.

Y/N: "From Pompeii... And from a brothel in Syracuse."

Y/N was leaning against a desk as she looks around and picks up a woman's top with crystal's jangling on it. Not noticing Shu behind her.

Shu: "Good guess."

Y/N gasps and turns to see Shu.

Shu: "What do you think you're doing here?"

Y/N narrows her eyes at him and throws the top away from behind her.

Y/N: "I'm here to make sure you get the Book of Peace. Or bring back your dead body if you fail."

Y/N crosses her arms as she stares at him sternly. Shu places his hands on his hips as he smirked at her.

Shu: "Really? And how are you going to pull that off?"

Y/N: "By whatever means necessary."

Shu leans against the table as Y/N clenches her fists. Shu crosses his arms.

Shu: "Did you bring a crew?"

Y/N: "No."

Shu: "You know how to get to Tartarus?"

Y/N almost hesitates.

Y/N: "Uh... no."

She then looks away.

Shu: "Can you navigate on your own?"

Y/N: "Yes!"

Shu: "Well, good! Then I'll dump your butt in a rowboat, and you can paddle all the way back to Syracuse. 'Cause we're going to Fiji."

Shu walks over to his and lays down on the bed, covering his eyes. Y/N smirks at him.

Y/N: "Fiji?"

Shu: "Yup."

Y/N leans against the pole.

Y/N: "Just as I thought."

Shu's small falter and uncovers his eyes.

Shu: "What?"

Y/N: "Shu, you're not a very complicated guy. All someone has to do is imagine the most gutless course of action, and you're bound to take it."

Y/N gets off the pole and places both of her hands on Shu's edge of the bed as she looks down at him.

Shu: "Hey, this is not my problem. I did not steal the Book."

Shu crosses his arms. Then Y/N sits on the edge.

Y/N: "You're really not going to lose any sleep over this, are you?"

Shu: "Not a wink."

Shu rolls to the side and faces the wall like a child.

Y/N: "Because me, I'd be tossing and turning, knowing I'm alive... because I let my friend die."

Y/N leans closer over to Shu as she narrows her eyes at him with faltered lips. Shu widens his eyes and groans in disgust as Y/N moved away and walks away with Shu following behind.

Shu: "I'm not responsible for this mess. And I didn't ask Valt to put his neck on the line for me."

Y/N turns to him with a bored and uninterested expression.

Y/N: "Look, clearly I can't appeal to your honor. But I have other ways of convincing you."

Y/N places her hands on her hips as she gives Shu a grin as Shu had a slight pink blush on his cheeks.  

Shu: "Really? Uh... just how do you expect to do that?"

Y/N: "By speaking your language."

Y/N gets closer to Shu's face before taking out a diamond in front of him. Shu takes a diamond from Y/N, holding it and examining it if it's real and looks at Y/N with an interesting look.

Shu: "Keep talking."

Y/N grabs Shu's hand before grabbing a bag filled with jewels before she shakes the bag of jewels to Shu, then throwing the bag away then crosses her arms. Shu shakes the jewels in his hand.

Shu: "Yup, this'll do! But not for first class."

Shu grins at Y/N, as she looks at him curiously yet nervously. Just then the door bursts open, Shu had Y/N hanged over his shoulder as she struggles to get off.

Shu: "As you can see, we're well equipped to accommodate the most discering of royal tastes. We have excellent ocean views..."

Y/N grabs his face before hitting his back with her fists. Shu threw her into a storage room filled with food.

Shu: "...luxurious living quarters, with three gourmet meals a day, pickles, eggs, and pickles. Oh, hey, Spike, there you are. I'd like to introduce you to your new bunkmate... well, actually, you're his new bunkmate, as it's actually his bunk. [chuckling]"

Spike jumps on Y/N and licks her face.

Shu: "We do hope you have a pleasant stay aboard the Chimera. Oh, if he starts hugging your leg, it means he likes you."

Shu backs up with the door ready to close. Y/N pushes Spike off of her.

Y/N: "If you think..."

Sinbad closes the door, locking it before Y/N could say anything then barking came from Spike. Shu walked up back on the dock while looking at the diamond she gave him.

Shu [whispers to himself]: "How did she even get on the ship?"

He stops as he sees his crew with the jewels in each of their hands. Hyuga puts a jewel in his mouth, Hikaru hiding it behind his back. Raul yawns before hiding it behind his back.

Shu: "Gentlemen, we have a new course. We're going to Tartarus."

Hyuga spits out the jewel.

Hyuga: "Huh? What happened to Fiji?"

Hikaru: "What? No fun?"

Hyuga: "No beaches?"

Shu walks up to staircase to the upper level before the flower necklace drops on his head.

Shu: "Cuza."

Cuza: "Sorry, Captain."

Cuza peeks his head over the lookout point with a ukulele in his hand before hanging down.

Cuza: "But did you say Tartarus?"

Shu: "That's right."

Cuza: "Will that be the same Tartarus from which no sailor ever returns?"

Sinbad pushes Cuza as he swings in front of Shu then circing him.

Cuza: "The Tartarus of the lost souls, where they grind your bones and pickles your spleen, and..."

Shu grabs Cuza's flower necklace.

Shu: "No, Cuza. This is the nice Tartarus, with lots of beaches and drinks. You know, with little umbrellas?"

Cuza [muttering in Italian]: "Non ci posso credere, non ci posso credere, mi hanno fregato ancora."

Shu walks up to the upper level and stands next to Xander who was smirking, Shu corrects him when he didn't say anything, crossing his arms and looking at the star.

Shu: "I'm only doing this for the money."

Xander: "Right. So how do we get there?"

Shu: "That star's our point."

Xander spins the wheel of a ship, then Hyuga and Hikaru pull the rope, then Raul ties the rope, then Xander holds the wheel. The ship then zooms out from a cup to Eris watching them.

Eris: "Wow. Our little thief isn't going to run away."

Eirs turns to her creatures as they hiss.

Eris: "He thinks he's going to pay us a visit."

Eris says in a mocking tone the creatures hisses and clicks.

Eris: "Hmm. Let's provide some mood music."

Eris licks her finger as she circles the cup with her finger and sirens appear swimming around the cup as they sing a melody.

Chapter 5: Framed

After The Book of Peace was stolen, Sinbad was arrested and was thrown into a cell where Valt was waiting.

Valt: "Shu."

Shu: "Valt! It's about time."

Valt walks angrily up to Shu.

Valt: "Do you realize how serious this is?"

Shu: "Do you realize how many times I've heard that today?"

Valt: "You've betrayed Syracuse!"

Shu: "Oh, not you, too."

Valt: "Stealing the Book of Peace, when you knew how much it meant to us!"

Shu: "Valt, here's the way this works. First, I actually commit a crime, and then you get to blame me for it!"

Valt: "Then how do you explain this?"

Valt takes the dagger out that Eris took from Sinbad yesterday. He connected the dots and the reason why the Book of Peace has been stolen, he whispered...

Shu: "Eris."

Valt: "What?"

Shu: "Eris... she framed me."

Valt: "Sinbad, listen to yourself."

Valt walked past him.

Shu: "Trust me, Valt, the Book is in Tartarus. Talk to your father. Tell him I'm..."

Valt: "This is beyond my father. The ambassadors are convening now for your trial."

Shu couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Shu: "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Trial? I didn't do it! Look, I left the Book on your ship, and that's the last I saw of it. You were there. You know the truth. You know me."

Valt: "Do I? I knew a kid. Who are you now, Shu?"

Shu sighs.

Valt: "Look me in the eye and tell me. Did you steal the Book?"

Shu looks at him, straight in the eye.

Shu: "No."

Valt looks at his eyes to see if he was lying but in his eyes. He wasn't.

After having a conversation with Valt. Shu was taken to the court where the ambassadors, were trying to get the Book from Shu, which they think he might have.

Kento: "We've heard enough of your lies. Shu, for the last time, give us the Book."

Kento walks up to Shu, getting impatient.

Shu: "How many times do I have to say it? I don't have it!"

Then the Council Judge, Phi, stands up as the rest follows.

Phi: "Very well, then. The Delegation of the Twelve Cities find you guilty of treason, and we sentence you to die. Take him away."

Shu: "Come on! This is a joke, right? Are you... are you people blind? I didn't do it!"

The guards started dragging Shu away as he struggles to get them off.

Valt: "Stop!"

The crowd gasps as Valt steps up.

Valt: "I demand the right of substitution. Take me in his place."

Kento: "No!"

Everyone looks at him surprised.

Valt: "Shu says that Eris took the Book, and I believe him. Let him go to Tartarus and recover the book."

Shu smirks as he said Eris had the book but didn't expect to announce that Shu will bring it back.

Shu: "What?"

The crowd murmurs. Th ambassadors gather up to discuss. Shu jogs up to Valt and pulls him back.

Shu: "What are you doing?"

Valt: "You claim that Eris stole the Book, steal it back. You're good at that."

Shu: "Hey, look, I will not be responsible for your life."

Valt: "You would do the same for me."

Sinbad: No, I wouldn't.

Kento: "If Shu is allowed to leave the city, he'll never come back! Son, listen to reason."

Kento walks up to Valt.

Valt: "No, Father, you listen."

Valt pushes Sinbad out of the way.

Valt: "Shu either stole the Book, or he's telling the truth and it's in Tartarus. Either way, he's our only hope."

Y/N was discussing with Phi to not let Valt take Shu's place.

Y/N: "But you can't..."

But Phi ignores her protest as he turns to Valt and Y/N looks away upset.

Phi: "Valt, you realize that if Shu does not return, you will be put to death in his place."

Valt: "I understand."

Phi [sighing]: "So be it. Shu has ten days to return the Book."

Y/N and Kento looks down as Y/N sighs that there was nothing she can do.

Kento [sighs]: "Release him."

The guards unlock Shu's handcuffs as he rubs them and they move to Valt's wrist, Valt and Shu made eye contact, out of constant worry. The guards walk with Valt to the cell as Y/N walks up to him and shook her head, then sighing. Valt gives her a reassuring smile and a nod he then turned to Shu.

Valt: "Oh, and, Shu... don't be late."

With that said they walk away to the cells, Shu and Y/N made eye contact as she glares at him and Shu groans at what mess he has gotten himself into.

Chapter 4: Meeting Y/N and the stolen Book of Peace

A party was being held for The Book of Peace being held at the tower.

Kanto: "For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of this moment. The sacred treasure that's protected us for a thousand years is now in Syracuse."

Man: "A toast!"

Woman: "To Kanto!"

Man: "Hear, hear!"

Valt smiles at his dad. Kanto raises his glass to the crowd.

Kanto: "To the Book of Peace!"

The man beside Valt is one of the Council Judge, Phi.

Phi: "And to you, King Kanto and Prince Valt."

Phi and Valt cheered with their cups. Then a guard ran past them towards the entrance.

Guard: "Make way!"

The crowd gasp as the guards surrounded Shu and his crew.

Shu: "You see? This is what happens when you use the front entrance."

Xander: "Mm-hmm."

Xander hums in agreement. Kanto and Valt walk up to them, Kanto had a displeased and confused look while Valt had a smile on his face.

Kanter: "What is he doing here?"

Valt: "At least he's not out robbing someone."

Valt pats his father's shoulder in reassurance and starts walking towards Shu and his crew.

Kanter: "That's because everyone worth robbing is here."

Spike walks away from Shu while panting.

Shu: "I'll bet you ten crowns you're about to put those swords down."

Guard: "I'll take that bet."

The guard glares at Shu while pointing the sword towards his neck.

Valt: "Guards, put away your swords. I don't see you for ten years, and now twice in one day... [scoffs] You're smothering me."

Then the two friends clasp hands.

Shu [chuckles]: "I knew you'd want to thank me for saving your life... again."

Valt [chuckles]: "You probably just heard we had free food and wine."

Valt wraps an arm around Shu and walks away with him. Shu turns to his crew while clasping his hands.

Shu: "You hear that, guys? Dinner and drinks are on the prince."

Valt: "Come on. There's someone I want you to meet."

Valt walks away leading Shu away to meet someone. Shu whispers softly to them.

Shu: "Get to work."

The crew started walking until the guards stop them.

Guard: "Weapons?"

Xander takes the swords out scaring the guards, they both gasp. Xander chuckled, then putting the swords away on a table next to them, then Cuza puts his swords away, then Yugo puts all of his weapons down. Valt was taking Shu to the middle of the party.

Valt: "Here she is. I've told her all about you."

Shu takes a guest's cup and drinks it. Valt walks up to a woman, with H/C hair talking with someone.

Valt [clears throat]: "Shu, I would like to introduce you to my fiancee, the Lady Y/N, Ambassador from Thrace."

Valt takes Y/N's hand and they both walk down to meet Shu. Y/N smiled warmly at Shu, as he stared at her in amazement and in astonishment.

Y/N: "So, this is the infamous Sinbad. I heard all about this morning. First you tried to rob Valt, and then you save his life. So, which are you... a thief or a hero?"

Y/N looked at Shu up and down, while wrapping her arms around Valt's arm. Shu couldn't answer as he was entrapped by Y/N's beauty.

Valt: "Shu wanted to give me an opportunity to thank..."

As they turned to Shu, only to see him gone.

Valt: "...him."

Spike gobbles all the food that was on the food table.

Cuza: "Eight months on the sea with nothing but eggs and pickles... you don't know what that can do to a man. Oh, it's almost too easy. There's only a handful of guards."

Cuza had a handful of food and moved out of the way as Shu came by. Xander came behind Cuza.

Shu: "Forget it. Let's get back to the ship."

Shu walked past them and walked back to the entrance to the ship.

Xander: "Just like that? But the Book is almost ours."

Xander and Cuza look over in the direction Shu walked away to see Y/N and Valt watching them. Y/N sighs and shrugs.

Xander: "Oh."

Xander understood what was going on.

Cuza: "Wh-What? Who is she? An old girlfriend?"

Xander: "I'm afraid it's not that simple. Let's go."

Everyone walked to the entrance.

Xander: "Yugo, pack it up."

Yugo: "What? I-I... I just put the..."

Yugo groans and picks up all of his weapons, then joining the others with Spike following behind. Eris is seen sitting on the roof.

Eris [chuckling wickedly]: "Oh, this is just too easy."

She then disappears in the night. Y/N and Valt walked towards the balcony, arms linked, where they can see the glow of the Book of Peace.

Y/N: "Look at this way: Now that Sinbad's gone, your father can finally relax and enjoy the evening."

Valt [chuckles]: "Well, you're right about that. He's trying not to show it, but he's so proud to have the Book in Syracuse. He's been planning this day his whole life."

Valt leans against the railing while Y/N leans forward looking at Valt.

Y/N: "And soon it will be your responsibility."

Valt: "Our responsibility."

Valt places a hand on Y/N's shoulder. Valt turns around and looks at the night sky while Y/N looks at the ocean.

Marina [sighs]: "It's beautiful."

Valt: "It is. My father spent years preparing it for the Book. There are guards on every level, and if you look up to the..."

Valt stops speaking as Y/N stands up, giving him a smirking look.

Valt: "Ah... [chuckling softly] You were talking about the ocean, weren't you?"

Y/N: "I only wish I'd seen more of it. I used to imagine sailing far beyond the Twelve Cities, discovering the world. [chuckling softly] Oh, look at it, Valt. There's so much wonder."

Y/N looks over at the horizon. Valt turns her around and grabbing both of her hands, and Y/N sat on the seat, as Vat kneeled in front of her.

Valt: "Y/N... Our marriage was arranged many years ago. It's always been expected of us. But politics is not a reason to get married. Uh, and I don't want you to do this just because it's your duty. I'm asking you for myself now. Y/N, will you marry me?"

Valt hesitated to ask but proposed to Y/N.

Y/N: "Proteus, I..."

Before Y/N could answer Kento found them on the balcony.

Kento: "There you are! I think the delegates from Manoli are trying to give a toast. Although, I'm not sure. They're doing something with their knees. Y/N, I need an ambassador."

Y/N exhales and looks over at Valt as he nods.

Y/N: "Of course, Sire."

Y/N wraps her arms around Kento's arm as they walk down with Valt following behind. At the tower where The Book of Peace is held, Eris goes to the tower, she was in the shadows going unnoticed by the guards at the tower, she then sizzles the candle wick.

Tower Guard: "Huh?"

The Tower guard notices and takes his sword out, looking at the candlewick being burnt out, then putting the sword back in, then looking at the book, he places his hand over then Eris appears in his shadow, she appears out of the door then sizzles two more candle wicks out. The Tower Guard turns around.

Tower Guard: "Who's there?"

Eris flies around and hides behind a pillar and made a puppet that looks like Shu before entering the puppet Shu, and takes the dagger out, that she stole from him earlier and walked out of the shadow.

Tower Guard: "Huh?"

The Tower Guard looks behind him and see's 'Shu'.

Eris takes the dagger out from behind her.

Tower Guard: "Shu!"

He charges at Eris, as he strikes Eris blocks it. Then punched the Tower Guard, he groaned in pain, then he turned unconscious Eris then transforming back into herself.

Eris: "I love playing pretend."

She then drops the dagger by the Tower Guard, then chuckling wickedly as she whisks towards the Book of Peace. She grabs the book and lifts it up.

Eris: "All the pieces are coming together."

Then Eris closed the Book of Peace then her shadow spread throughout the city of Syracuse. At the party, the buildings started to collapse, everything went dark. Y/N rushes to Valt.

Y/N: "Valt, the Book!"

They both grabbed each other and ran towards the balcony, and looks up to see a big cloud forming. Valt protectively wraps his arms around Y/N, as city buildings started to crack everywhere.

Chapter 3: Shu meets Eris

As Shu was dragged into the ocean by Cetus, Eris appears, she blows a large bubble sucking Shu in, and he gasps for air. He slowly stands up taking in the area. Then Eris's voice booms in.

Eris: "The day begin with such promise. And now look. My sea monster is dead, and I still don't have the Book of Peace. All because of you, Shu."

Eris appears in front of Shu, she laid down with her hands intertwined and placed them under her chin.

Shu: "Uh-huh. And you are?"

Eris: "Eris, the Goddess of Discord."

Eris form dispersed before she reappeared as she has introduced herself.

Eris: "No doubt you've seen my likeness on the temple walls."

She grew big and her fingers grew long and shaped like one of the fishes.

Shu [chuckles nervously]: "You know, they don't do you justice."

Eris: "Uh-huh. Now, about my sea monster."

Eris pushed Shu back a bit.

Shu: "Right, right. Listen, I'm sorry about that. I don't suppose a heartfelt apology would do."

Shu fiddles with his fingers as Eris chuckles wryly.

Eris [chuckles wryly]:  "Heartfelt? From you? Shu, you don't have a heart. That's what I like about you."

She then shaped herself to be in human size.

Eris: "So, I'm going go let you live. But there's just one little thing you have to do. Get the Book of Peace and bring it to me."

Shu: "Right. Hmm. Now, see, that's a problem for me because I had my own plans for it. Uh, ransom, get rich. You know, "me" stuff."

As Shu slowly walks back, Eris appeared behind his back. Shu lets out a startled cry.

Eris: "You're not thinking big enough, Shu."

Eris appeared behind him again and took the dagger out of his pocket.

Eris: "Steal the Book for ransom, and you'll be rich enough to lounge on an island beach. Steal the Book for me, and you can buy the beach, and the island and the world."

Shu: "Hmm. You let me live, you make me rich, I retire to paradise. So far, I don't see a downside. If you keep your word."

Shu shrugs his shoulders as he glares at Eris.

Eris: "Shu, when a goddess gives her word, she's bound for all eternity."

Eris fiddles with the dagger before making an 'X' mark on her shoulder-chest

Shu: "All right, you're on."

Then Eris appears next to him.

Eris: "I knew you'd see it my way. So, when you've stolen the Book, follow that star beyond the horizon. You'll find yourself in Tartarus, my Realm of Chaos."

Eris shows a bright star, at the far end of the ocean.

Shu: "Tartarus. I'll see you there."

Eris: "It's a date then."

Eris close up to Shu's face while pointing the dagger to his throat. Eris 'goves' back Shu's dagger as he tries to grab it, it fades away.

Eris: "So, where were we? [chuckling] Oh, yes. You were holding your breath."

Then the bubble started to disappear along with Eris. Shu goes back underwater, then swimming back up to the surface. Eris watched him as he swims back up.

Eris: "He's so cute. And so gullible. Cetus, well done."

Cetus appears beside her as she smiles wickedly as she as her own plans.

Shu gets out of the water, then Xander grabs him, then everyone cheers, Spike barking happily as he licked Shu's face.

Hikaru: “Shu, you're alive!”

Hyuga: "Glad you made it. Pay up. He lived."

Hyuga went to his twin to pay him up as they bet whether he's alive or not. Xander gives a hand to Shu and he gets up.

Xander: "What happened down there?"

Shu bends down a bit, his hands on both of his knees gasping for air.

Shu [gasping]: "You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

Xander: "Try me."

Xander shrugs.

Shu: "All right, here goes. So I meet Eris, the Goddess of Chaos. She's got a major crush on me, and she invited me back to her place."

Shu explains what happened as he took off his boot that was filled with water before placing it back. Shu looks over at Xander with a serious look. As Xander let out a laugh.

Xander: "Ha! That's a good one! Goddess of Chaos?"

The crew chuckle at Shu's story.

Xander: "Oh, I'm writing that down."

Xander walks away as Cuza leans over.

Cuza: "So, that's it then? No Book. Now what do we do?"

Shu: "A little patience, Cuza. It's not like we don't know where it's going."

Shu looks over at Valt's ship to see his friend's relieved look. Valt puts his sword away into his sword case that was wrapped around his waist

Valt: "Men, all sails to Syracuse!"

Man: "Right away, sir!"

The ship sails to Syracuse, people were cheering for their return, then three carry the Book of Peace and carry it to a building, then lights the building up. Nobody would know what would happen tonight.
