Hi, I wanted to ask about one of your centaur worldbuilding posts. The one about capture-the-flag-wrestling-keep-away game. You mentioned "Using one of your littlest rider cousins". So centaurs have human cousins? Or at least human-appearing. Do you mean that as in literally, i.e., blood related? Or is it more spiritually, like family friends that are essentially family? Additionally, can humans be part of a centaur herd if this is the case?

Tossing these two together since they’re kinda related, thanks for asking I love talking about these guys! Riders typically have both a centaur and humanoid halves making up an extended family group. The groups consider each other family, raise their children together, often share flocks and homes, and will call each other cousin/uncle/grandmother.

So humans can definitely be part of the centaur herd! But with my Riders in particular the culture is pretty much 50/50 centaur/humanoid. It probably started with rider/runner pairs raising their families together as a result of their war-time bonds, but as the children are raised together they frequently find ready-made pairs among the other children as they grow up playing rider games together, thus deepening the bonds between the families.

Only so much "horseplay” allowed before the elders are yelling about “Get off their back! You’ll be swaybacked by 30 if you keep that up!”

As prospective warriors get older and closer to joining a war party, if they don’t have a partner already, the best way to find someone you work with well is the games! GoatPull, Racing, and Wrestling are all great informal ways to test out prospective partners and get to know how the other moves and build trust! Even for partnered pairs, they will sometimes switch riders/runners as part of the fun. Usually if the pair are raised together as siblings their bond will be pretty solid by the time they are grown. For those finding each other as adults there is typically a lot of trust-building and weapons drilling together before they actually face battle together. And even then a few pairs may dissolve after their first battle if on decides they aren’t made for the battlefield. It’s rare but happens, along with the usual death a battlefield entails. If the remaining half chooses to go on as a fighter, they will find a new partner in the same way. Usually with growing up playing games with the whole tribe, everyone knows a few Riders they would get along with reasonably well.

There’s a lot of trust when you’re putting someone on your back with a sword or bow and arrow that you wont end up with those weapons in you instead of the enemy, or if you’re standing and firing from a charging centaur’s back that you wont end up on the ground in the middle of a fight. There’s a LOT of communication, trust, and practice involved in a Rider pair to ensure that the rider doesn’t get tossed by an unexpected maneuver or put a sword in their runner’s shoulder trying to regain balance during the stress of a battle.

Invading his privacy by going through his phone

Getting mad at him for changing his password and demanding he tell you what it is

If a guy did any of these things to a girl it would be considered abuse but since its the other way around its considered normal. Throughout High school I saw many girl treating their boyfriends like shit. Sometime even physically abusing them in the hallways and no one trying to stop it because its a girl attacking a boy. 

Boys: If your girlfriend does anything on this list leave her. It is abuse and you deserve better.

Girls: if you find your self doing anything on this list to your boyfriend you need to knock it off because you are being abusive.

Hello, I recently looked over your Omegaverse Master post (is it old? If it is and you've already answered this question, then so sorry), and I was wondering if there could also put other 'classes' put into the mix? Like, delta, gamma, the like?

Do whatever you want! I was mostly cataloging the trope that was already out there, but if you want to have eighteen sexes, go for it. I don't think anyone's done it before, so you'd be expanding the genre

hey so im writing a thing that is basically omegaverse (tho i prefer to not call it omegaverse bc i feel like thats too fanficcy for something i want to be professional u kno) but it has the six sexes and i wanted to kno if i could use some of ur headcannons as like a base line? like for the biology and sociological stuff? i knew i wanted to do something like omegaverse but i felt like i needed a baseboard to begin with if that makes sense. either way tho i love ur meta! do u plan on makin more?

I don't own any of this! As far as I can tell, the omegaverse concept has never been, is not currently, and never will be copyrighted by anyone, since it was developed (and is being developed) over such a long time by such a large community. That being said, if anybody wants my permission to use my specific version of it, feel free to do so, with or without credit. I just compiled and tweaked info that was already out there. As of now, I don't plan on expanding "my" meta (especially since it's been years since I posted it), but you never know what the future might bring

Would a male alpha and beta female be able to produce triplet pups easier/more frequently than say and male alpha and female omega? Or would it actually be difficult given that the beta has a “normal” reproductive system. I’m curious and want to keep facts straight as possible before writing this into a fic I’ve got in mind.

So I've apparently gotten a lot of asks with this kind of question (I just discovered that I can get asks... oops), and I want to stress that omegaverse is whatever you want it to be! I just wrote up my headcanon for it at the time. If you want help working out your own headcanon, feel free to message me (but be aware that I'm really bad at checking Tumblr and have gone for years at a time without coming back online), but there are no omegaverse "facts"! Go forth and write whatever you want :)

I read your post on the alpha/beta/omega verse and it was very informative. It got me thinking, there also should be room for transgender/gender non conforming people too. As in transitioning from alpha to omega and such? Or born omega male but presenting female? What do you think?

Absolutely! I know that pheromone maskers/similar concepts have been used in several fics I've read, and I suspect that in a modern/futuristic setting, people would be able to transition along the a/b/o spectrum just as well as we currently can along the male/female one!

Omegaverse Update

It appears that my omegaverse posts are still going strong several years later, and I was recently reminded of their existence when I watched Lindsay Ellis' video(s) on the copyright drama going on in the published omegaverse world. I wasn't aware that people were publishing ABO stuff, but now I'm wondering... would anyone be interested in an original ABO work that I've been writing and editing on and off for several years? It's actually a fanfic of my own non-omegaverse original work, also currently unfinished (because I can never stick to just one universe...). I can post a snippet if anybody likes the idea.

We really need to normalise exercising and eating well for reasons other than losing weight or building huge amounts of muscle. I’ve started going to the gym recently to relieve stress and help me sleep but despite the fact that I fit into shirts and skirts in size small, I’ve been asked if I’m trying to lose weight numerous times. 

Here’s a list of non-aesthetic reasons to exercise:

improves sleep

can have a positive effect on mental health

makes you stronger and fitter

something to focus on other than work/school/uni

a new d&d

last session we got a run-down manor and tavern as payment for our services. and since a bunch of our players were missing this session, so we sidequested it.

after some brief recapping and exploring, we spent about 45 minutes discussing all of the repairs needed to make our tavern and new home functional.
