Meal Prep 6/12/2017-6/17/2017

It took a lot to drag my ass out of bed today but I did it!!! Didn’t exercise but I did make it to the grocery store so I don’t eat junk all week. This week I start my first individual project of grad school (here’s hoping I can get a publication out of it!!!). Hopefully I can stick to this and see results at my weigh-in on Saturday. Breakfasts: lazy egg cups, 3 smart points for 2 (makes 12 cups)
3 eggs
16 oz. egg whites
frozen green peppers and onions
6 slices of uncured turkey bacon
Lunch: buffalo chicken pita with blue cheese and veggie strips (five pita sandwiches) (6 smart points)
10 chicken tenderloin strips 4
4 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of Frank’s hot sauce
shredded iceberg lettuce
reduced fat blue cheese dressing
Chopped bell peppers and cucumber
Dinner: Quinoa and beef stuffed poblano peppers (13 smart points for 3 halves)(MWF) or shrimp spaghetti squash (13 smart points for half a squash with about 1/4 lb of shrimp)(T, Th)
Stuffed peppers
3 poblano peppers, halved
1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup of quinoa (dry)
most of two cans of tomato sauce
minced onions (dried)
minced garlic
chili powder and cumin, salt and pepper
reduced fat cheddar cheese to top
Shrimp spaghetti squash
Spaghetti squash
olive oil
minced garlic
red pepper flakes
sautéed shrimp
parmesan

Update: 6/10/2017
The first week of work was very stressful, but very good, and the new lab I’m working in is a very supportive environment. I feel very optimistic about it.
I bought my tickets for Montreal for a conference at the end of July, which has sort of lit a fire under my ass to lose weight because flying at this size gives me a truly impressive amount of anxiety. Food from the past week: not great choices but I stayed within my points so that’s good. Didn’t exercise until today: took a 35 minute walk, half of which was up-hill. Kind of had to leverage Orange is the New Black to motivate myself but it worked and I got some good sweating in (thanks Florida summer).
Start Weight: 341.8 (10/8/16) Today’s Weight: 328.2 Week’s loss: 5.8 Total loss: 13.6

Meal Prep: 6/5/2017-6/9/2017

It’s my first week of grad school this week!!! (Sorta, I don’t start classes until the Fall but I start working 9-5 in my new lab tomorrow) In an effort to stay on track with the new stress, I made all of my meals for this week tonight. My dinners are very bad, but they stay within my point limit for the days (38 sp) so don’t judge me too hard. My days are as follows:
Breakfast: lazy egg cups (4 smart points for two, recipe makes 12) 
3 large eggs
16 oz egg whites
6 pieces of uncured turkey bacon, cut down the middle lengthwise
1/4 green bell pepper, diced small
1/4 red onion, diced small
3 slices of Colby jack cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Canola oil to grease the muffin tin (about 1/2 a tablespoon)
Lunch: roasted chicken with veggies (3 smart points, made five lunch servings)
2 medium chicken breasts chopped into 1 inch chunks
2 green bell peppers, roughly chopped
1/2  a large red onion
2 medium zucchinis
3 cups of cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons of canola oil
Red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder
Dinner: chicken alfredo with broccoli (23 smart points, the recipe makes 10 very generous portions [carbs are my comfort food, it’s gonna be a stressful week, let me live!!!])
3 lbs pasta
3 chicken breasts
2 small jars of alfredo sauce
2 cups of skim milk
A genuinely shameful amount of Cajun seasoning
1 bag of frozen broccoli
Snacks:
Almonds (1/4 cup, 6 smart points)
Banana

Introductions
Hi!  I’m Kaylee, I’m 22, and I study neuroscience.  I’ve been fat for as long as I can remember, and I need to finally do something about it before it actually does kill me.  I am fat. I am morbidly obese. But I’m also cute as hell, don’t be mistaken.  So this blog will hopefully tell my journey and maybe garner a few friends who are in the same boat so we can help motivate each other through the good and the bad.  Currently, I am enrolled in weight watchers because it holds me accountable for what I do by forcing me to record (when I actually listen to it.)  Anyway, STATS: 
current weight: 334.0 exercise frequency: basically never?  food: poor choices and big portions  mental health: total shit 
GOALS:  weight: starting with 280 exercise: 3 times a week  food: something that makes me and my body feel good on the regular  mental health: not poorly impacted by my weight

Sometimes you fall of the wagon for months. Sometimes you tell yourself you’re gonna start fresh on Monday and by Wednesday you’ve already fallen back off. Sometimes you have to restart a 100 times and it’s frustrating. But it will be okay. You can do this. One day at a time
