Boycott Disney

You have no idea how disappointed i am at Disney right now They refuse to read a simple 3 page bill, repeat, 3. FUCKING. PAGES and assume it's somehow anti-LGBTQ which it's not if you actually read it Disney is not the same company we once knew and you know it - They railroaded 101 Dalmatian Street to failure by refusing to negotiate to keep the channels in the UK because they were too gung ho with Disney+ - They throw quality imports under the bus (like they are doing to Bluey right now by forcing us to wait until 2023 for its 3rd season) - The parks are too damn complex and pricey for their own good - The "new rides" are just projection-heavy carny rides with an IP slapped on - The cuisine at the Food and Wine festival is borderline school cafeteria level of quality You want more reasons to boycott Disney? i got 'em and it'll take all day to cite them all Because of this shit, i am no longer interested in Lightyear and the only way for me to see Turning Red is to buy it 2nd hand from the Amazon marketplace [that way, the seller gets the money and not Disney] and to the Bluey fans in the US that Disney is fucking over, cancel Disney+ subscriptions now buy the Target exclusive Seasons 1 & 2 set and keep buying the toys also, instead of waiting until god knows when in 2023 for Season 3 to air in the US, invest in both a VPN and a region-free player Why? So you can watch Bluey Season 3 DIRECT from either the UK (BBC iPlayer) or Australia (ABC iView) and when the 3rd Season arrives on DVD, import 'em all!

How i would fix “Nick@Nite”

Idk if the folks at Nick@Nite would read this but here’s what i do to fix Nick@Nite Firstly, With Streaming making the block obsolete in its present form - it’s time for a restructuring  1st - ditch the current logo, i get the change is meant for a unified brand and all but the logo in general (especially for a legacy brand like “Nick at Nite”) is what the late great Martin Lambie-Nairn would call “dull and worthy”, so it’s best to revert back to the iconic and flexible logo that people know and love that you folks unceremoniously retired (big mistake!) 2nd - revive the bumpers used in the 1992-1998 timeframe of Nick at Nite as they are timeless and give the block a personality and make new ones that keep that spirit going, the present bumpers set off a patronizing tone of trying too hard to be hip with the kids with the constant hashtags in reference to the shows 3rd - To fix the obsolescence of Nick at Nite in the age of streaming, reviving the old school branding is part of the plan The big part is a big overhaul to the line up to return Nick at Nite to its roots with a new twist, Imports I’m talking shows like The Avengers (no relation to Marvel’s Avengers), Two’s Company, Are You Being Served? and all that Classic UK imports will give Nick at Nite an edge as you will likely not find these on a streaming site and even if they have - it’ll likely be on a service they refuse to subscribe to like ACORN TV or Britbox, so Nick at Nite has an advantage there 4th and final - To address the morning transition to Nick, Instead of giving Spongebob more air time - give kids some curiosity with shows like Animal Kwackers, The Sooty Show (mainly the Thames Television part of the Matthew Corbett era of Sooty), Super Gran and some cartoons like those from the Staflik and Spagetka and Krtek catalog(s) Risky? perhaps but Nick@Nite as it is now is in risk of getting its plugged pulled and what i’m presenting is the best course for Nick at Nite going forward (also, no more ‘paid programming’)
