i hate that every time i look for color studies and tips to improve my art and make it more dynamic and interesting all that comes up are rudimentary explanations of the color wheel that explain it to me like im in 1st grade and just now discovering my primary colors

Hey hey ! Here's some more reijiro (reika x tanjiro) content ! — background info on them + kng doodles

The first time Reika had seen Tanjiro was during the Natagumo Mountain mission. A flash of red and green sprinting through the forest alongside a boar-headed slayer had caught Reika's eye, with her tugging at the sleeve of her travelling partner Shiro (my friends oc). When she got a better look at him, she would start to call him a 'cute red head'. How silly of her i lovehersomuch

Anyway, they would continue to meet at the Butterfly Mansion after that. Shiro lived there afterall, and sometimes helped treat patients. And so she would meet him through Shiro, after she had helped take care of his injuries a few times. Reika doesn't really have a home, but she visits the Butterfly Mansion a lot to see Shiro. So that's where she'd bump into him :))

He would almost immediately be swept up in her infectious energy, and they'd be friends almost immediately. He found her eyes pretty, the frosty hues of them reminding him of the snow that the mountain he grew up on would be buried in during winter. It helped that she talked a lot, so conversations never dulled.

As time went on, they would come to see eachother as good friends. She was fun company, and he grew fond of her. He found himself in almost constant terror though— she was so reckless at times, so close to hurting herself on the daily that he was constantly on edge.

But yeah. eventually they catch feelings, blabla. Besides him directly telling her about it eventually, they never really get into a 'relationship', it's just a feeling of mutual care :3

Hey ! since i've posted Reika a bit, here's my ocxcc with her :) I ship her with Tanjiro !

They have a bit of a listener x yapper dynamic, and a bit of a "she's weird but it's okay cause she's cute" kinda thing going on.

Reika's the type to have her brain literally lag whenever someone is genuine/heartfelt with her— like no blush no nothing, she just kinda pauses and stares at you for a moment like 🤨. So mix that in with Tanjiro who's amazing with words and you get two people staring at eachother in confusion
