Transfem Rain Story - Like a Tsunami

Chapter 1

The woods were silent, the birds however chirped. A young teenage boy stood blinded by a cloth meditating. Soon a puff of smoke appeared, surrounding the boy. The boy turned his head trying to listen for anything to help.

From behind, the boy quickly pulled out a dagger and turned to attack the invader but….nothing was there. “Huh..?” The boy tried to listen but with a swift kick the boy fell on his back. In anger he took off the blindfold

“This is pointless!!” The boy stood up, slamming the cloth at the ground.

“Patience Hanzo, you will learn in no time” Smoke said as he picked up the cloth “you only started practicing a little while ago”

“Easy for you to say! I just want to know everything now and fight like you and grandmaster Kuai!” Whines Hanzo. “Speaking of him! He’s barely even trained me!”

Smoke facepalms “he’s just too busy working on the clan, I know you’ve been wanting his attention for a few years since you’ve been here but I’m here training you”

Hanzo scoffed and pushed past Smoke “I just wanna go home now”

Smoke shook his head at Hanzo’s demeanour. He walked behind the teenager.

“With great practice comes patience” smoke states

“SMOKE PLEASE SHUT UP-“

Snap

“Shh!” Smoke shushed Hanzo and covered his mouth. He looked in the direction of the twig snapping.

Hanzo grabbed out his dagger again

“Who’s there?! Show yourself!?” Smoke yells

Silence…..

The birds aren’t even chirping anymore.

“Hanzo I need you to run-“ smoke gets interrupted as a ball of ice shoots at him.

Smoke pushes Hanzo out of the way before he dodged the ice ball

“BI-HAN!?” Smoke yells as out from the shadows walks Bi-Han

“Long time no see Tomàs” Bi-Han says chillingly

“Haven’t seen you since you tried to disrupt Kuai’s wedding!” Smoke says

The two charged at each other in Kombat. Punching, kicking, slashing each other. Hanzo watched as he goes to try and help but get caught by a second person.

“SMOKE!” Hanzo screamed

Smoke looked over and saw Quan Chi holding Hanzo by the neck “GET AWAY FROM HIM!”

Bi-Han however pushes and pins Smoke to a tree and begins to strangle him.

Smoke gasped for air and looked into Bi-Han’s eyes….wait….his eyes…they’re not his….

“Y-you’re not Bi-Han!” Smoke chokes out before kicking Bi-Han off.

Unfortunately Quan Chi has disappeared with Hanzo.

Bi-Han grabbed Smoke and dragged him to a waterfall “see you in the neatherrealm!” Bi-Han says before kicking Smoke off the edge.

Smoke screamed as he fell but from what he remembered a few years back when he was attacked by Nitara, he used his new and improved dagger to try and save himself from the fall..

Thankfully it works as Smoke catches a breath of air. He looked into the air and saw….smoke…where the Shirai Ryu would be “no…”

Smoke ran through the woods desperately trying to make it home faster.

Once at the entrance he saw death….lots of soldiers were dead, both Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei.

“KUAI LIANG!” Smoke called out as he ran looking for him. Making it into the hit he saw a depressing view. Kuai Liang holding the hand of a murdered Harumi

“No…” smoke fell to his knees

“Where’s Hanzo…?” Kuai asked through tears

“H-he was taken by Quan Chi…Bi-Han attacked me” smoke replies

“Bi-Han killed my wife….” Kuai turned to Smoke “I’ll kill his if it’s the last thing I’ll do!”

“Brother..there’s something you should also know..” smoke starts “I think Quan Chi has control over Bi-Han’s mind…”

Kuai stared at Tomas in shock. He looked down at the deceased Harumi before up at Tomas. He stood up and hugged him tightly. Sobbing into his shoulder

“Get Liu Kang now”

Two days passed, Kuai and Tomas stood with Liu Kang and the earthrealm fighters. Ever since the attack they all have searched non stop for where Hanzo could be.

With Liu Kang’s prior knowledge of the previous timeline he was able to quickly figure out it’s in the Neatherrealm.

Only one problem, there’s many layers to this timelines Neatherrealm and Hanzo is more likely at the bottom.

The Hellfire, hard to extinguish without an infinite amount of water.

“So there’s nothing we can do!?” Kuai yelled in anger at Liu Kang.

“We will find a way, it will take some time but we need to figure out a plan” Liu Kang says before turning to Geras “talk with Ashrah, her sister (Sareena) and the Outworld empire we’ll need all the help we can get”

“Wait!” Smoke said. Everyone turned to him

“I think we know someone who can help” smoke says

“Well then who!?” Johnny asked

“Candy~” the perverted man lead a woman to the office area at a nightclub

Rain left the office with a briefcase heading out through the entrance. All the patrons were too distracted from partying and dancing.

Rain walked down the ally and into a parked car. She got in and placed the suitcase in the backseat

“So what’s the outcome?” Erron Black asked

“He paid in full…with his life of course”

“No blood?” Erron asked

“No blood” rain says

Transfem Rain Story - Aftermath

TW: childbirth

Days and weeks went by as Rain left and followed the map Tomas left her, but rain begin to feel sicker by the day. How ever on day 17 on walking she made it to Fenjian. She stumbled her way up the stairs of the Tea House before taking a seat. She puts her bag down on the table and opened it to crab the money she had left…

“Five coins..” rain said to herself

She puts her arm in the bag searching through the rubbish of snacks wrappers as she had gotten so hungry during those days. She grabbed a water bottle which was almost empty, rain could’ve filled it up but she unfortunately doesn’t have her staff therefore no hydromancy.

She zipped up her bag and held her coins close to her as she noticed an elderly short woman walking over to her. She remained seated as the woman spoke

“Welcome to my Tea House, call me Madam Bo” spoked by Madam Bo

This is the woman Tomas told Rain to find. She clears her throat.

“I don’t recognise you, are you passing by” Madam Bo asked

“Well I-“ rain stopped before turning away and suddenly puking her guts up on the floor.

Rain coughed as Madam Bo looked concerned

“Follow me dear, you don’t look too well” she says as she held Rain’s arm and leading her away.

Half a day goes by, Rain was given some water to hydrate, some medicine and some food on the house. Rain sat on a couch in Madam Bo’s home. Soon enough the old woman returned

“I brought some stew, it helps with woman and their pregnancy’s” Madam Bo said

Rain looked at her and scoffed at her before giggling to herself

“Funny, but I should tell you there’s physically no way that could ever happen to me” Rain said “it’s a long story but do you know Tomas? Smoke?” Rain asked

Madam Bo nodded in agreement “I know, he gave me a heads up you were coming weeks ago, and I know exactly who you are to”

Rain stopped laughing to herself realising what Madam Bo said. “So you know-“

“Smoke told me who you are and what you did and why you’re here, all I will say is you have some issues”

“Yeah…I do” rain confirmed

“You desire love and ambition but both hurt you in the end, yet you never once thought about what you actually wanted”

Rain stayed silent and listened

“What you did was bad yes, but I know woman like you. Following men blindly and doing what they say because you’re in love but once the fantasy fades away you’re left in a worse state”

“That’s not true, Havik only told me to destroy the capital but I got too ambitious and I destroyed the whole entire city”

“Why do you defend him?” Madam Bo asked

“I…I don’t know.. I know he’s a bad person but…” rain stops and thinks

“Love is very difficult, I won’t fault you for your pasts, only what you do now and for your future” madam Bo says as she hands Rain the bowl of Stew

Rain looked down at the stew, seeing her fuzzy reflection in the broth. The steam rising up and hitting her nose, the smell was so delicious. She looked at Madam Bo

“Thanks”

“Now eat up and rest for you and the baby”

“Again I’m not pregnant, even if I wanted to be I physically can’t” rain says

“Well when the doctor was here earlier and took some tests, it indicates you my dear, are indeed pregnant as well as the small but noticeable baby bump”

Rain shook her head “again no, many years ago I was-“

“Smoke caught me up on that too, I don’t mind but you’re from out world and there is very different.”

Rain sighed as she slurped some of the broth and looked back at Madam Bo

“I’m going to need actual proof because I would know if I’m with child.”

The next morning, Madam Bo took Rain to a hospital for an ultrasound “when you write your name down you’ll need a new name because there could be a chance someone from your home could come and find you” madam Bo said

“But I love Rain”

“Spell it differently then”

The door opened “you can come in now” the doctor said to Rain

Rain walks in as she was instructed to lay on the reclining chair

Doctor spoke “how do I spell your name?”

“R…A…I…N……..E..??”

“alright, mind lifting your blouse up to above your abdomen?”

Rain did as instructed, the doctor squirted some lube onto her belly and began pressing what looked like a weird looking object to her belly. The doctor was looking at the monitor next to the chair as he was looking for anything to show. Rain looked around at the posters and writings on the wall of different healthy eating stuff.

“I don’t mean to waste your time but I can’t get pregnant anyways” Raine said

“Well you spoke too early because I found the baby”

Rain looked at the doctor “what?”

The doctor turned the monitor to Raine and speaks “that right there, is the fetus of your child”

Rain was looking at what appears to be a fucked up looking small baby which is indeed inside her.

“I CANNOT BE PREGNANT! THAT SPELL SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT IT CANNOT HAPPEN!” Raine freaks out

Madam Bo “well sometimes things can be wrong”

“AND HE SAID I WAS AROUND A MONTH PREGNANT! I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO THE FATHER IS!” Raine freaks out more.

Madam Bo stepped onto the coffee table and slapped Raine across the Face

“Enough! Crying and screaming won’t fix it, now you have some options but only you can decide”

Raine held her cheek. “Did you just slap me?”

“One option, you keep the baby, or you give it up for adoption or you terminate the pregnancy” madam Bo says

Rain looked at Madam Bo “terminate? What’s that?”

“It means getting rid of the fetus inside you, but again it’s your choice but considering how fat you are it might not be possible.”

“Can…can I have some time to think?” Raine asked

Madam Bo nodded and left. Rain sits down on the couch and began to cry. She didn’t know what she wanted to do. She spent most of the night watching videos on a tablet Madam Bo lent her (and taught her to use) she looks at the pros and cons of each option but in the end she still didn’t know. She was all alone and had nothing to fight for…she’s a screw up…unless…

Midday the next day, Raine walks into the Tea House and straight to Madam Bo. Madam Bo was sweeping the floors as she looks at Raine “how was your sleep dear?”

“I’m going to keep it…I messed up everything I had before and this child…I don’t want to mess it up to…I have something to fight for now” Raine says

Madam Bo smiled “I knew you would say that, now while you’re here I have something for you”

Raine sits down at a table with Madam Bo

“I’ll teach you how life here in earth realm works, culture and everything you need to know. I can let you work here for a bit but only until you’re late into your pregnancy. I’ll get you a new identity and citizenship as I know a person who owes me favours and if you chose to leave or stay in the end, I’ll help you no matter what”

Raine smiled brightly as she nodded “thank you, this means very much too me”

Many months had went by, Raine had learnt so much about earthrealm, the good and the bad and unfortunately some curse words. Now around 8 months pregnant she was working in the kitchen of Madam Bo’s tea house. There has been some near encounters with earth realm defenders coming in but each time Raine was afraid to walk out, she didn’t even know if smoke was even there.

In the present, Raine was singing a song she loved while cleaning the dishes for the chefs.

“I’m gonna miss ya Raine, and good luck with your child” the chef said

“Thanks Wu, I’ll but you a drink since it’s my last day, for you and your wife of course” Raine said

“Don’t worry about that, have you picked a name for the baby yet?” Chef Wu asked

“I haven’t yet, I think it’s going to be a in the moment thing” Raine says.

Soon Raine’s shift ends, she picks up her hand bag and goes to walk out. She looked to the tables and gasped as she quickly hid. She saw Scorpion who was talking to Madam Bo

“Thanks again Madam Bo, and sorry Tomas didn’t come again. I don’t know why he doesn’t want to visit, he says he missed coming back here” Kuai Liang said

“Smoke is a wise man, when he’s ready to tell you what’s going on he will tell you” madam Bo said.

“I know you’re right, again thanks for the meal” Kuai gave Madam Bo a hug and leaves. Raine sighs before walking out

“Hey, I’m heading home now” Raine said to Madam Bo

“Ok, good night dear” madam Bo says.

Raine leaves the tea house and walks down the path to the home. She stops in her path to feeling the baby kick hard

“You’re going to be a fucking kicker huh” she smiled as she held her belly, she looked up and gained eye contact with Scorpion.

Her eyes widened as Scorpion looked at her knowing damn well who she is.

“Rain?” Kuai asked

“Please…please don’t tell anyone, I’m starting a new life for myself…please don’t screw this up for me” Raine begs quietly

There was a pause which felt like forever but was only like ten seconds. Kuai Liang nodded and said “take care” before leaving. Raine sighed and began rushing home just wanting the night to be over.

She grabbed the door handle before feeling a sharp pain in her belly. She hissed in pain before feeling something pop. She slowly moved her hand to feel between her legs. A wet substance….her water broke

“Fuck…”

Raine had arrived at the hospital and waited in line as there was a person in front of her at the reception. After a few minutes it was finally Raine’s turn

“How may I help you today?”

“I think my water broke” Raine said

“Oh…”

Raine was now in a room on a bed in a hospital gown. Some of the nurses were outside the room whispering to each other regarding something before two people walked in wearing suits

“Raine, my name is Richard and I am part of the FBI” the first man said holding a badge

“What do you want?” Raine asked very concerned as she was holding her belly.

“Your most recent ultrasounds and tests of your things has shown some very concerning characteristics” the second man said

Raine looked at birth very concerned

“The baby seemed to be shifting in a story of way and the US government would like to make an offer. Give us the child and we’ll give you a few hundred thousand right now.”

Raine looked very disgusted “Get the fuck out!”

The first man says “oh come on, it’s money!”

“GET THE FUCK OUT!” Raine screamed and the two men left quickly.

Raine was now sweating heavily as she was surrounded by nurses and the doctor. Raine was sitting up with her legs on two contraptions to help give birth easily. Raine was crying in pain.

“Ok Raine, a couple more pushes so we can see the head” the doctor said reassuringly

Raine lifted her head back and cried as she push. She wishes she took the epidural but after seeing the needle she said ‘FUCK THAT’

Raine pushes one more time so the head can be seen. The doctor however looked very concerned and somewhat scared

“Umm…keep pushing Rain, the baby is almost here”

Raine couldn’t focus on what is making the doctor scared but as she continued the push, the nurses looked and one almost fainted,

After one last push the room was filled with a loud scream, the doctor slowly picked up the baby. Raine looked to see the baby and that’s when she sees it.

The baby had absolutely no skin and looked like just meat but at the same time was shifting into a human baby form. Rain takes the baby from the doctor as the baby continued to cry.

The nurses and doctor all looked at each other with concern. Raine however cried with happiness “Hi baby!” She smiled.

The small baby began to stop crying as the baby slowly open their eyes “I-it’s a boy” said the doctor.

The baby then shifts into the human baby form as Raine looks at the doctor.

Raine was holding the baby as now the baby was cleaned up and wrapped in a blanket. Now madam Bo was there looking down at the baby

“You’re telling me this little bundle of joy can shift looks?” Madam Bo asked

Raine nodded “yeah, the doctors did some test and now we’re waiting, including the DNA test” she says

Raine looked at Madam Bo “wanna hold him?’ She asked.

Madam Bo nodded and Raine slowly handed the baby to Madam Bo. The baby slowly opens his eyes and looks at Madam Bo before looking over at Raine.

Madam Bo smiles before asking “what’s his name?”

“Well he’s my little bundle of meat so his name is Mateo or maybe Meat as a nick name” Raine says with a smile. The doctor walked back in with some papers before sitting down on a chair

“We still running some tests but the DNA results came back quickly” the doctor says

Raine sits up and listens “go on”

“Usually we can tell tithe mother and the father’s from each other in the child…however here it came back saying there’s three biological parents to the child.”

Raine looked shocked, that means both Havik and Smoke is the father

“So what does this mean?” Madam Bo asked

“We’re still working that out, but if you want to keep your child, you’ll have to keep that part a secret” the doctor says

“Well those FBI agents know already” Raine says

“What?” The doctor asked

“Before I gave birth these FBI American government agents came into the room offering me money for my baby” Raine said “I told them to get out”

“Raine…I hate to say this but legally they’re not FBI agents, if they showed up then it means one of the nurses reported the ultrasound to someone corrupt” the doctor said and Madam Bo nodded

Raine looks between the two “I’d like to leave now!” She says

“You can’t until you’ve healed, but I will make sure there extra security and in a few days you can leave” the doctor said before leaving “I’ll be sure to report those two people”

Raine was holding baby Meat up who was in his meat form and planting kisses on his head making the baby laugh.

“You’re such an adorable baby! I might just eat you up!” Raine says as she playfully nibbles Meats small hand making him laugh even more.

A couple nurses walked in “good evening Raine! Just doing a check up on your baby” Raine looked down and saw Meat was now in human form. Smart Baby

Raine nodded as she handed meat to the nurse. The other nurse takes out the needle out of Raine’s arm. Raine then noticed a small splatter of blood on the sleeve of the nurse.

Raine is getting a bad feeling, she turns to the other nurse “can I have my baby back?” The nurse walks straight to the door. Raine turns to the other nurse who tries to stab her with a knife. Raine was able to deflect as she pushes the nurse down.

She chases after the nurse screaming “SHE’S STEALING MY BABY!”

Raine catches up and manages to snatch Meat back who starts to cry. The ‘nurse’ pulls out a knife as the other nurse appears. Rain is cornered as the nurses gets closer to her

“Get Back!” She yells but they don’t listen

“I SAID GET THE FUCK BACK!” Suddenly a huge blast of water shoots out from Raine’s hand. The water blasts the faces off both nurses killing them instantly. Rain stared at her hand, she has hydromancy again but didn’t need a staff.

She rocks Meat who was crying loudly from the loud noises. Raine rushes back to the room where she goes through her bag and changed into some clothes. She picks Meat up again and she leaves through the fire escape.

Raine calls Madam Bo from a payphone

“Hello, this is Madam Bo” Madam Bo says

“It’s me”

“Raine!? Where are you? There’s police at the hospital”

“They tried to kill me and take my baby, I had to leave with him to find somewhere safe” Raine says

“Oh you poor thing, I’ll send you some money but do not tell me where you’re going”

“I wasn’t going to, and you don’t need to”

“Well I am, we should cut this phone call short but Raine, please be safe and take care of Mateo, I believe in you”

Raine begins to tear up “thank you…I promise I will…goodbye Madam Bo…thank you for everything”

Raine says as she slowly hangs up. Raine looked down at Meat was asleep in her arms. Raine held him close as she gets onto a bus to somewhere.

A few weeks passed and Raine was breastfeeding Meat at the docks. She’s hoping to get onto a boat and leave with meat but she’s deciding which boat to take. Raine hasn’t gotten much rest as she looks frazzled. Soon a man sat down next to her

“You don’t look ok”

“I’m fine” Raine says as she’s glancing at all the boats

“Your baby looks cute, must be nice having an edenian mother” the man says

Raine slowly looked at the person with a death stare “how did you know I was edenian?” She asked as she was about to defend herself and meat if necessary

“I’ve travelled to out world a few times, they have a bounty on your head but considering you have a baby with no skin now, I think you need help” the man says

Raine looked down quickly and saw Meat was in his natural form looking at the man’s hat

“What do you want from me?” Raine asked

“My group leader needs an assassin and I know who you are Rain amd what you did. We can offer you a safe home for you and your child and in return, you help our leader Kano”

Raine thinks about it before she sighs “if I notice anything off I will kill you without hesitation”

“Sounds like a deal”

“But what’s your name?” Raine asked

“Black, Erron Black”

So my version of outworld magic transition Rain is basically giving her a partly functioning uterus without anyone realising. She can’t menstruate but can carry children.

Chapter 3

Many years ago

“It’s time you fall Rain!” Mileena yelled in the hanging gardens. Rain held her staff closely “was that meant to be a rain pun?” she asked. Mileena laughed as she laid down her sai “was it good?” She asked

“By the gods no, that sucked” rain laughed. The two are in their late teenage years, both had been kombat training for hours now. “It’s fine we take a break now?” Rain asked, placing the staff she held to the side.

Mileena nodded “yes please, I’m so hungry!” She exclaimed. The two walked away from the hanging gardens together “your breasts are bigger than mine!” Mileena compliments “why were you looking?”

It has been 3 outworld years since Rain has done the spell which changed her life for the better. Rain has grown so much happier and confident in herself as physical changes appeared…unfortunately for one part.

“It’s cause they are! We should get you a new bra” Mileena says “by the gods yes! I need one!”. The two arrived at the mess hall, many royal house personals were enjoying a feast “I’m going to speak to my mother” Mileena says before walking away.

Rain looked around before spotting the other mage, Skarlet. Rain walks over to her “hey! I still need to return your knife right?” Rain asked. Skarlet nodded “you can leave it at my room”

Rain nodded but before walking away she leaned in and said “if you still have that crush on General Shao, don’t bother” she laughed as Skarlet whipped her head around and smacked the back of her head “I’m kidding! I’m kidding!” She laughed.

“Next time you need help, I’m stealing your blood” Skarlet says “deal”

Rain goes to get some food, she eats and looks around. Today was such a nice and sunny day. Rain stands up from the table to go-

“AAAAAAHGHHHHH!”

Rain Screamed in pain as she dropped her dishes, clutching her belly and falling to the ground. Everyone else stopped and looked over, Umgadi rushing over as well as Mileena “RAIN!? WHATS WRONG!?” She asked

“IT HURTS!”

Days had gone by, it’s unclear as to why Rain was in immense pain. Not even doctors or other mages can help Rain. All rain could do was try and sleep and eat through the pain. Rain was in her room, on her bed groaning as it felt like needles and knives were cutting her from within.

“It feels like I want to die!” Rain cries out. Mileena holding her hand “what can we do mother?” Mileena asked. Sindel observes and tries to think. “I’m not sure what help this would do, but I’ll find a mage to put you in a 7 day slumber” Sindel suggests

“PLEASE! JUST KNOCK ME OUT! ANYTHING!” Rain cries out more. Sindel goes to fetch the mage “Mileena! Can you return Skarlet’s knife to her?” Rain whimpers. Mileena nodded “of course! When you wake up I’ll have a surprise for you!” She says.

The mage had arrived and was able to cast a potion to put Rain in a 7 day coma. As the days went on, doctors would come in and check Rain’s vitals. On the 7th day, Rain begins to wake up. The pain was thankfully gone!

Rain looked around and saw her staff but it seems to have been upgraded, on the top was three small sharks and a note attached ‘Rain! When you wake up I wanted to show you your staff! I was able to get the three sharks you dreamed of, you, Tanya and I! Get well soon! - Mileena’.

Rain smiled at the staff. She slowly sat up and groaned as her joined all cracked from not moving in days. She waddled over to her bathroom and stripped naked to have a shower. As she lets the water run down her body she uses soap to wash herself before going to wash her least favourite part her crotch area-

“WHAT THE HELL!?”

It appears her dysphoric body part….is now gone.

“I don’t know but I’m not complaining, I need to tell Mileena”

Present Day

Rain wakes up to the sunshine shining through the cracks of a cave. She looked up as Havik, still asleep after the both of them joined up in intercourse together. Rain stand up and begins to put her clothes on and behind her, Havik had woken up and hugged her from behind “my goddess” he mumbled.

Rain smiled before looking at him “good morning, we should get going. We’re almost at Seido now” she says. Havik lets go and gets dressed as well “i have to say with your face like that, you’re an excellent kisser” rain compliments. “And with your body like that, you bring me joy” Havik responded as the two kissed “thank you for breaking me out” rain says.

“Don’t thank me yet! We have one task at hand..Seido!” Havik exclaimed.

The two began on their journey again, up to the top of the mountain. It has taken many hours to reached the top, but sooner than later, they reached the summit. Rain and Havik pants as they fell to their knees “you know…I could’ve just used my water magic and lifted us both to the top…” rain said “you can do that when you bring us down later” he catches his breath before standing up.

Rain stand up and holds her staff “wanna be impressed with me more?” She smirks under her mask as she stepped forward to the cliff. With her staff she begins to summon a storm like no other, one she didn’t even know she could summon. Large thunder cloud covered the sky, strong winds soon followed. Havik held himself up as he watched.

Heavy Rain begins to fall from the sky all over the city of Seido, but Rain wasn’t done. After what seemed like minutes the storm was only getting worse. The civilians of Seido ran for cover from the Rain but wasn’t prepared for what’s next. Rain raised her staff to the sky and by the drop of it, a giant flood crashed through the city. Screams can be heard but Havik’s cheer was louder “MY GODDESS!! YOU DID IT!” He cheered. Rain turned to Havik with a large smile. She walked over to him as the two embraced in a passionate kiss. Havik held her waist as he pins her to a rock before flipping her over.

Rain undoes her belt as Havik pulled down her underwear from underneath her robe. Havik kisses and bites her neck as he begins intercourse with rain. Making rain scream loud in pleasure as the storm gets worse for Seido. The two spends almost 30 minutes before the end. Havik had finished inside her and rain was just smiling and giggling to herself. She was happy. The clouds soon went away and the flood had subsided. “Let’s go check out the damage!” Havik said before helping rain up.

After all this time, Rain was just In love with Havik that she would’ve done anything for him. She loved the attention, the love making, his embrace. Rain helps Havik and her down to the entrance of Seido. Havik ran around laughing to himself at all the chaos that was brought. Rain was smiling to herself before she spotted a damaged crib. She walked over and her heart sank, a mother holding her baby…both dead. Rain gasped at the sudden realisation of what she’s done. She looked around and saw all the corpses of people…woman…men…children…even infants…

Rain covered her mouth as she began to cry. Why did she do this!? This wasn’t worth it…she should’ve stayed at the jail. “I’m sorry…” she mutters to herself. “Sorry?” Havik replied from behind her “do you regret the chaos we’ve done?” He looked confused. Rain turned to him “Yes! I wish I didn’t do this! All these children! Dead because of me!” Rain cried. “Are you serious? These people deserved death and more!” Havik said “you should’ve left me at that jail!” Rain yelled.

“No! What about the past two weeks me and you! They were the best thing to ever happen!” Havik yelled “I’m a screw up! I screwed up working with Shao! I screwed up working with Shang! With Quan Chi! I never wanted any of this!” Rain cried out and turned away “Then why work with them in the first place!?” Havik questioned “because Quan Chi would’ve reversed my spell! I would’ve been the bad version of myself! The one I hate!” Rain cries more. Havik paused “…you do know Quan Chi can’t reverse those spells right?”

Rain slowly looked up and turned to Havik “…what..?” “He can’t reverse any spells, it’s not even possible at all” Havik says. Rain slowly realised all of the things she had done…was all for nothing. She fell to her knees and sobbed some more “by the gods….i’m such an idiot..” Havik walked over and tried to help her up, Rain pushed him away! “DON’T YOU BLOODY TOUCH ME!” She screamed at him. “You and I…were done…go back to chaosrealm without me” rain walked past havik. “Rain no! Please don’t leave me alone! I need you! RAIN!” Havik screamed for her but Rain doesn’t listen. She leaves back to the royal house. With her water magic she was able to return back within a week. She approached the gates as the Umgadi spits her. She holds up her hands in surrender.

Rain is to be executed, though at this point she doesn’t care anymore. Three knocks are heard at the gate. She looked up to see Mileena “Is it ok if we speak?” She asked. Rain nodded.

Mileena lets herself in and sits in the edge of the bed. “I heard about Seido…” instantly rain covered her face and began to cry “I’m so sorry…I wish I can reverse all of this and take everything back”. Mileena listens before asking “why…? Why do all this?”

“I destroyed Seido because I was in love…I felt wanted for the first time in a long time…but then I saw what I did…I wish he just left me here” rain confesses “he asked me why I even joined the rebellion…I told him and you wanna know what he says!? Quan Chi couldn’t even reverse my spell if he wanted to…” rain cries. Mileena was silent. “All of the crappy things I’ve done….it meant nothing!” She looked at Mileena “I’m so sorry Mileena…I don’t deserve your forgiveness…I deserve death…” she says. Mileena was silent through out. She walked over and hugged her one last time before leaving.

At dawn, Rain was cuffed and lead to the koliseum, there she was to be burned for her crimes. She didn’t fight back at all. She was tied to the stake and Umgadi stood away from her. Mileena stood at the throne “here we are to condemn Rain for her crimes! Her punishment is d-death…” Mileena almost cracked thanks to her tears. Rain didn’t even look at her…she was to die…and she deserves it. The Umgadi has lit their torches.

Rain looked up in the sky for one last time, her heart beating faster as death was near. She closed her eyes waiting for death.

BANG

She opened her eyes and saw almost everything was covered in smoke, no one could see. Rain felt her restraints cut and a whisper “run to the portal” as the smoke cleared she looked up at Mileena. She nodded her head…Mileena somehow did this…she didn’t want rain to die. Rain jumped down from the stake as she began to run. The Umgadi chasing after her. Rain hadn’t ran fast like this ever. She ran through the market, through Sun Do as the Umgadi throws their weapons at her. Once through the portal, Rain falls down and coughs before catching her breath.

She looked up expecting to be where Liu Kang and the earthrealmers were but she was alone on a snowy road. She looked behind her to see the portal close. Rain was alone now…or so she thinks. She hears a footstep from the trees to the side of her, she looks and there stood Smoke.

“WHY!?” She screamed at him before walking over “WHY DO YOU LET ME LIVE!?” She was upset and tried to hit him but smoke held her arms “Mileena came to me and told me to save you and bring you here!” Smoke says. Rain snatches her arms back “why would she do that? I don’t deserve to live”

“But we think you do! Rain I’m sorry but I don’t want you to die” smoke says. Rain looked at him before looking away “I’m sorry…”

“It’s fine, now follow me. I know where you can be safe for now”

An hour later, Smoke had led Rain to a place called a Motel. He leads Rain to a room “I have to tell you, I can’t stay for long so I’m leaving you some thing” smoke says “what!? So you’re abandoning me?” Rain asked

“I’m sorry, I’m not even allowed to have helped you by Liu Kang” he says. You can sleep her tonight but tomorrow you need to find a woman in Fenjian named Madam Bo, there she will help you get on your feet” smoke says

Rain stayed silent, her eyes feeling heavy and begins to water “I’m not sure if I should be alone…” smoke looked up at her “please don’t say that” he hands Rain a bag, inside was some clothes, money, everyday necessity’s and a map. “I should go…” smoke says but Rain held his hand “please…please don’t leave me yet” she says looking up at him. Smoke held Rain’s cheek “I’ll stay for tonight…then I’ll have to leave”

“Ok”

Smoke sighs before slowly leaning in and kissing Rain softly. Rain kisses back softly before the two gets more passionate. Smoke lays rain on the bed before getting on top of her. They both undress for the last time.

In the morning, Smoke was gone. Rain wakes up to the bed empty but a written note.

‘Rain, whenever you feel alone Fight for me. Whenever you’re scared fight for me, whenever you’re sad stay alive for me. I know we will see each other again but as of right now it’ll be some years before we can reunite safely. Please fight to stay alive. I Love You - Smoke’

Rain walks down the snowy road, wearing the clothes smoke had given her. She looked around at the trees, the sky, the road….she was all alone. Rain begins to cry out loud. She covers her mouth but she couldn’t. She screams so loud and cried in anguish…it was her fault she ended up on this road…she was alone..no friends…no family…no one.

No one could hear her cry…she was alone…

Transfem Rain Story 2 - I am not a Woman, I am a God

Chapter 2

It was supper time. The outworld figures were enjoying a supper with the earthrealm Demi God and his champion, as well as some others from earthrealm. Raiden was asking Liu Kang questions regarding Outworld until he spots Rain. She was speaking with Mileena regarding the tournament. “Who’s that? I don’t recognise her” Raiden asked, “that is the high mage, her name is Rain” Liu Kang responded. Rain glanced over before reaching for her wine glass. Mileena grabbed her stomach in pain as Tanya placed her hand on Mileena’s back “are you unwell princess?” Tanya asked. Rain drank from her wine glass looking away, Mileena took notice “I’m fine..Tanya” she says as Tanya helps her up and they leave. Rain glared at Shao with anger inside, she so desperately wanted to out him as the traitor he is but…she was afraid.

Fortunately for her Shao made a fool of himself by getting drunk and insulting the earthrealmers. Rain decided to take this as a cue and to leave. She has to meet Shang Tsung in his Labrotory “how are the earthrealmers Rain?” Shang asked with a smirk “they’re fine, Shao made a fool of himself” rain says as she crosses her arms. She looked over at Syzoth going to feed the prisoners “will you ever give him his family back?” Rain asked but Shang laughed “he will, I’ll give him their rotting heads” Rain looked shocked “You killed them!?” She whispered loudly “No loose ends, now prepare the upstairs laboratory for Mileena” Shang asked. Rain storms off glancing at Shang “you’re a sick bastard!” She cursed.

Mileena was knocked out on the operating chair. Rain stood next to Tanya waiting for Shang to make the mixture. Tanya looked at Rain “you haven’t been yourself for a while Rain, care to tell me?” Tanya asked, Rain glared at Shang before looking at Tanya “I’m fine, let’s just get this over with”. A while passed and soon Shang had finished the mixture, he was walked over before they get interrupted “Get away from her!” Kenshi yelled “You Bitch!” Johnny Cage cursed with excitement. Rain looked offended “Excuse me!?” Kung Lao questioned Johnny. The washed up actor tried to explain his reference but both Rain and Tanya attacks them. Kenshi aimed his Katana at Rain “You’re portraying the princess!? Hurting her!?” He asked. “You don’t understand earthrealmer!” Rain said but it was to no use. They fought with rain ended up losing. She laid unconscious on the ground for a few minutes before walking up to see Shao, goro and a few soldiers with the earthrealmers down. Rain stands up and brushes herself off. “Rain! Help Mileena out of here” Shao ordered.

Weeks went by without incident with Rain. She was in the treasure chambers with Quan Chi. He was saying a monologue while she couldn’t care less. In the reflection of a shield on the wall revealed Scorpion trying to sneak by. Shang Tsung has tried to convince the Lin Kuei to join the rebellion but it appears only one accepted. Rain turns around and shoots a water stream at Scorpion, knocking him down. Scorpion stands up instantly and faces Rain “Rain!? You’re betraying the Royal House!?” He growled in anger. Rain frowned “I don’t have a choice! I have to do this” Rain responded “you made the wrong choice then” Scorpion snapped. Quan Chi stepped next to Rain “I got this, go block all the exits” Quan Chi ordered. Rain frowned more and nodded. She looked at Scorpion before leaving.

Rain blocks and closes all the entrances before she reached the last one. As she goes to close it she hears a familiar voice “Rain!?” She turned around…it was Smoke. “What are you doing here!?” He asked. “Smoke…I…I can explain!” She says as she tries to step closer to Smoke but he took a step back. “Are you working with Shang Tsung!?” He looked disgusted and angry “I didn’t have a choice! I didn’t want to!” Rain tried to explain to smoke but she was brought to tears “I didn’t want any of this to happen..” she looked at smoke who looks disappointed “last time I saw you…I told myself I would ask you out in secret…” smoke paused “guess you proved to me you can’t be trusted”. He turned away “smoke please! I need your help!” Rain begs “I won’t stop you rain…but the next time I see you..I’ll take you down…” smoke drops a smoke bomb before the area explodes in smoke. Rain covered her eyes and coughed before she was able to see Smoke had left. She covered her face and began to sob….was the curse even worth it at this point?

Rain stormed back through the halls, her face drenched from her tears. She wipes them as she storms up to Shang Tsung “I don’t want to do this anymore!” She yelled at him. Bi-Han glared at her before looking at Shang Tsung “oh but you don’t have a choice” Shang Tsung said. “I’d rather die then betray my friends and family!” She cried out “but you did Rain! You did!” Quan Chi yelled as he walked in “your friends all despise you now, but you did choose to join us” Quan Chi says. Rain clenched her fist “I’d rather lose then curse and die then work with you for another second-“ Bi-Han grabs her neck and began to squeeze. Rain gasps for air as she tries to break free. Shang Tsung says “pathetic, all of your work just for you to get killed by an earthrealmer” a pause as Bi-Han looked at Shang before letting go. Rain coughs and gasps for air. Bi-Han scoffed “pathetic, I wonder what Tomas saw in you” he walked away. Rain stands back up and looked at Shang Tsung, she has no choice but to continue. She was too much of a coward to perform Hara Kiri.

Rain sat in a carriage across from Nitara. She had no emotion as she had cried so much from losing smoke. Nitara seemed go notice but doesn’t say anything. Rain looked up at her “why are you doing this?” Rain asked. Nitara looked confused “excuse me?” She asked. “Why are you a part of the rebellion? What are you fighting for?” Rain asked. Nitara cleared her throat “I’m fighting to protect and save my people, Vaeternians are already hated but we can’t control what we are, Ashrah definitely proved my point earlier” Nitara continues “I’m fighting to protect my people from genocide and so we don’t starve”. Rain listened as she realised that Nitara has something she’s fighting for….yet all rain is fighting for is to keep a curse…in which if it were to be reversed she can just go do it again. “What about you?” Nitara asked. Rain stayed in silence before responding “I don’t know anymore…I destroyed my friendships fell people who cared about me…someone I loved now wants nothing to do with me…I have nothing to fight for…except a curse..”

A couple hours later, Rain chases Sindel upstairs to Shang Tsung’s laboratory. She shoots a water stream at her but Li-Mei pushes Sindel out of the way. Sindel glares at Rain “I raised you! Helped you! Treated you like a daughter and you betray me!?”. Rain looked depressed at this point, she tries to speak “it’s hard to explain empress! please give me a minute to speak!” She says but Sindel shook her head “you don’t deserve to be listened to! You disappoint me Rain, I shouldn’t have helped you”. That broke Rain’s heart. She loses the fight and wishes for death. Though unfortunately for her she was dragged and carried to the jail cell. Her hands and legs cuffed. She wakes up many hours later to see Mileena outside with her eyes red and puffy “why!? You were like a sister to me!” Mileena cried. Rain faces the wall with tears falling down her face. She should’ve never joined the rebellion. She croaked out “I was blackmailed-“ Mileena screams “ALL THIS BECAUSE YOU WERE BLACKMAILED!?” She cries some more “we could’ve helped you! But you blew it all away!” She slams her fists against the cell door “you’re a disgrace to outworld! I hate you!” Mileena cries as she storms off. Once Rain knew she was alone she hugs her knees and began to cry. She wanted to die, she was alone, she wanted to die.

Rain laid on the cell bed for hours on end. A couple days went by before Mileena returned. Rain looked at her and says “I’m sorry…” Mileena didn’t listen, she looked up at Rain and said “my mother is now dead…and it’s all your fault!” Rain gasped as she felt her heart break “no..Mileena that was never my intent” she says. “BUT IT HAPPENED! AND YOU HELPED CAUSE IT!” Mileena screamed “All of outworld knows what you did, your mother has now disowned you…you have no one rain” Mileena says. She wanted to hurt rain as much as rain hurt her. Rain was close to tears again “please I’ll do anything to fix this!” Rain begs “then die” Mileena storms off. Rain breaks down in sobs repeating “I’m sorry!” Over and over again but no one hears.

An uncertain amount of time went by. Rain was just waiting for her execution before suddenly the wall explodes. She covered her head and looked over in shock. Standing on the outside was Havik “you’re still alive! Come with me! I need your help!” He said holding out his hand. “I’m not working for Quan Chi or Shang Tsung anymore!” Rain helped buy Havik replies “this has nothing to do with them! We must go now” he reached out his hand to Rain again. Rain thinks of her choices, wait for death or follow Havik. She didn’t want to be alone anymore so she stood up and grabbed Havik’s hand. Havik then picked her up over his shoulder and ran. This wasn’t what Rain was expecting but she hopes it’s the best choice she made.

After running for some time Havik dropped Rain onto the ground. He sat on the ground and breathed for air. Rain gets up and dusts herself off “that’s no way to treat a lady!” She yelled at Havik. Havik just shrugged “I need your help to get revenge on my former captors” he says. Rain raised a brow “why? Why me?” She asked very confused. “Seido has my captor Hotaru, I was enslaved for years away from my home..chaosrealm” Havik explained “that sucks…but I still don’t know what that has to do with me” Rain says. Havik then bowed to rain “my apologies, back at my home realm we worship water, and you being a water mage you’re the prayers I’ve been asking for” Havik says. Rain listened on

“With your powers you can embrace you abilities and do things you can’t imagine!” Havik said. Rain started to thing. She forms a water ball and looked at Havik “then let’s destroy your captors home…kill him and get you home” she says. Havik looked very excited and stood up straight, Rain has to gun her head up as Havik was really tall “I’ll forever be in your service Rain! My goddess!” Goddess…rain hears in her head again and again. She things of her options before deciding “I’ll help you Havik…but in return I need your protection” she offers. Havik got on his knees and bowed for Rain yet again “I am at your service Goddess!”. Rain smiled wildly under her mask. She felt she made the right choice, “lead me to Seido Havik”. If she couldn’t have love….then she can have power.

Chapter 1

It was a dinner feast, the Lin Kuei brothers were on the last day they spend in Outworld before returning to Earthrealm. Sindel sat at the head with her daughters by her side. Meanwhile the High Mage Rain sat across from one of the Lin Kuei. Since it was a special event she was dressed up in a gown alongside Mileena and Kitana. Sindel stood up and raised a glass “a toast to the Lin Kuei for their company here in Outworld” she says as the rest raised their glass. Bi-Han scoffed as Smoke raised his glass. Rain took notice before she brought the glass to her lips and took a sip.

Night fell and Rain was on the way back to her quarters but she felt a sudden urge to attack the person behind her. She whipped her staff around and pinned the person to the wall…it was smoke. “Sorry!!! I just got lost and I wanted to find the Hanging Gardens”. Rain sighed as she released Smoke “you’re going the wrong way, I’ll take you” she says as she begins to lead the way. In silence Smoke decided to ask “I hope you don’t get offended but during the past couple days I heard rumours regarding you and I thought you should know” smoke gulped. Rain looked at him “that I was born male? Did dark. Magic to change myself? Changed my genitals with magic? Yes do you have any questions other than that?” Rain said in a monotone speech. Smoke was speechless as he didn’t really know if he should even respond at all before rain asked “do some people in earthrealm do what I did?” And smoke cleared his throat “dark magic..no but changing gender yes”.

Rain and Smoke reached the Hanging Garden as Smoke sighed and sat on the grass looking up at the sky. Rain looked down at him and asked bluntly “why does Sub-Zero hate you?” Smoke looked shocked “No! He doesn’t hate me! He just…despises me..?” he said in response. Rain sat down next to him “and whys that?” She says. “Well…my parents and sister were killed by the Lin Kuei and the grandmaster felt bad and adopted me…Bi-Han just always hated me but Kuai accepted me” he said softly “I’m grateful for the Lin Kuei but at times…I just wished my parents chose to turn back…I miss them…I miss my sister” he says as he looked at the sky. Rain listened to Smoke’s words and said softly “I wish I could say something to help” smoke added “no need, I’ll be fine” he smiled at her “are you happy with yourself now?” He asked curiously. Rain nodded “with no regrets, thank Argus Sindel allowed me to continue to be myself” smoke asked “what if she didn’t?” “Then I perform Hara Kiri” “oh…”

Rain then just laughed softly “I’m sorry, but the faces you make are cute!” Smoke blushed “w-what!?” Smoke looked away as Rain stood up “anyways I should get to sleep” she says. Smoke looked at her and stood up “can I walk you to your room?” “Of course”. Rain and Smoke walked down to the quarters and to Rain’s room. “Thanks for talking with me” smoke says with a smile. Rain nodded “you to, I look forward to when we meet next”. She goes to close the door but stops “actually…did you want to come in for a bit?”

A week passes. Bi-Han, Kuai Liang and Smoke has left. Rain was at the training grounds practicing Hydromancy while Mileena stood to the side “I can’t stand being perfect and diligent all the time rain! Mother wants me to be her heir and I haven’t had the chance to even spend time to myself ever!” Mileena complained. Rain looked to her “well what did you want me to do about it? We can’t just rebel and cause a ruckus” rain said. Mileena jumped up “that it! I can spend a couple hours rebelling and I’ll take a horse and ride in the woods!” Rain puts down her staff “absolutely not! Sindel will not be happy about that! And Tanya is in charge to look after you and she won’t-“ rain gets stopped “actually she agreed to be with me to look after me of course, why not come with us? And maybe you can tell us about your night with the grey Lin Kuei!” Mileena teased. Rain’s eyes widened “oh my Argus! Don’t you dare!” Mileena laughed “then come with us!” Rain sighed “fine!”

It was late at night, Mileena and Rain had snuck out to the stables where Tanya was waiting “are you sure you want to do this?” Tanya asked. Mileena nodded “he’s! It’s just for a couple hours with us aaaaans!” She holds up a bottle of wine. “This isn’t going to end well” rain said. The three took the horses and rode into the night. Zooming past trees the three all reached a camp where Tanya made a fire. Mileena opens the bottle and takes a sip before passing it to Rain…who takes a swig. “If I get in trouble I have to clean the entire palace just so you know” rain says. Mileena says “I can lighten that sentence…if you tell me what you and smoke did last week” “MILEENA!” Rain screamed and Mileena laughed.

After some more wine Rain had begun to get tipsy and with Mileena begging for rain to tell she says “fine! I’ll tell you!” She clears her throat “I may or may not have led Smoke into my room and…we may or may not have made love” Mileena looked very interested. “Is that it? Give us details!” Mileena begged. Rain nodded “fine! He was…very great in bed! Very sweet as well and in the end I was very satisfied” rain goes on and gives out the more lewd details without going into specifics “and that’s all I’m saying” rain said as she hiccups. “So…are you going to get pregnant?” Mileena jokes “you wish and if I could I wouldn’t cause he didn’t finish there” she sips more wine. “Wait then where did he…” Mileena stops just as rain wipes her lips “RAIN!? DID HE-“ Tanya covers Mileena’s mouth “I’m not confirming nor denying whatever you’re thinking” rain laughed. Tanya shushes her. In the silence, Rain heard some footsteps and she quickly extinguishes the fire. Tanya helps Mileena up and onto the horse. “I’ll meet you back at the palace!” Tanya says to rain and she rides off with Mileena. Rain gets on her horse as she rides off but something spooks the horse and Rain gets thrown off shortly after. Rain gets knocked out cold as she hits the ground. The horse returns to the stable.

Rain woke up with a massive headache…mainly from the wine. She slowly begun to stand up as she looked at her surroundings. She was still in the woods. She groaned to herself and she realised her staff was gone, it must’ve stayed on the horse “I’m screwed” she says to herself. After wandering aimlessly Rain hears a familiar voice in the distance. She crouches down and sneaks ahead. Up ahead she spots General Shao speaking with a male with black hair. “So you are telling me Quan Chi got a Vaeternian on our side!?” General Shao yelled at the man. The man stayed poised “indeed, with Nitara on our side, our rebellion will not fail”. Rain looked shocked ‘Rebellion!?’ She thought.

Suddenly she turned around only to get kicked down by a taller male. Shao and the other male looked over. “Look who I found!” The taller male said as Rain tried to stand up “Shao!? What is this!?” Rain asked in anger “is this the hydromancer you told us about?” The man asked. Shao steps forward “Rain, this is Shang Tsung and that’s Quan Chi”. “I do not care! WHAT IS THIS!?” Rain screamed just as Quan Chi used his mind control and held Rain still. Shao walked towards rain “you see rain, Shang Tsung came to me with a promise that I will become Kahn if we take over the royal house, he can easily promise you power in which you always wanted” Shao snickered. Rain looked disgusted “I would never betray the royal house!”

Shao growled at the hydromancer “you disappoint me rain” Shang Tsung stepped forward “think about it rain, you can help us and we can help you” he smirked. Rain tried to break free “when I break free I will be talking the royal house of your plans!”. Quan Chi shook his head “but if you do, I can reverse your ‘curse’ easily” rain froze “you wouldn’t…you couldn’t! The curse is irreversible!” Rain said. Quan Chi laughed as he looked at Shao who gave him a nod. Quan Chi says something and Shao holds up his blade. In the reflection Rain can see herself changing. Her eyes widened as she saw the curse reversing “WAIT STOP! PLEASE I’M BEGGING YOU!” She cried out. Shang Tsung says “we can fix it, as long as you join us but if you disagree, you will die in the body you hate.” He staples back “do we have a deal!?” Shao asked. Rain can see her face changed drastically and she cries out and shut her eyes “I’LL DO IT!” Silence fills the air. Quan Chi chuckled as he lets go of Rain. Rain quickly looked at her reflection to see her feminine body is back. She began crying more and more as she looked up as Shao “now let’s get you back, Shang needs to see Mileena” rain stands up “he’s not touching her!” Shang Tsung then dropped a bombshell “actually I do, last night Mileena caught Tarkat”.

Back at the palace, Rain ran straight to her room and shuts the door. She looked at herself in her mirror. She screamed in agony as she punched the mirror, shattering glass going everywhere. Shang asked Quan Chi “can you actually reverse her curse?” Quan Chi shook his head “I cannot, I just gave her and us the illusion of the reverse and showed her exactly what she would looked like if the curse was never there. Now she feels obliged to work with us so therefore we can blackmail her”. The two walked away into the woods: rain looked down at her reflection. Guilt and sadness filled her mind “I’m sorry…” she puts on her mask as she stepped outside and walked to Shao “how’s Mileena?” He looked at her “fine” “does Tanya know about…this rebellion?” Shao responded “she has no clue, Mileena fell off the horse and there she caught Tarkat” rain felt very guilty. “Tonight you’ll get to meet our rebellion, you better not disappoint me rain or else” he threatened. Rain looked tired as she says “I’ll do it…it’s easier then lying ti everyone then go through my nightmare” Rain said. This is the beginning of the worst thing to ever happen to her.

Edenia, that’s where Zefferro was birthed before their skills of hydromancy was noticed. At a very young age, Zefferro was accepted into the Academy where they were to be trained to become Outworld’s High Mage. During training, the princesses from the palace would appear to learn about the newbies and quickly Mileena took a liking to Zefferro as a friend.

During one of Zefferro’s training, he noticed Mileena to the side signaling for them to go over to her. So Zefferro does what any gullible child does…go over. Mileena spoke “I’m having a tea party tonight! Want to come!?” She asked cheerfully. Zefferro had no idea what’s even involved in a tea party but they shrug “sure!”. Unfortunately for Zefferro, tonight actually meant right that second. Mileena grabbed Zefferro and dragged him to the palace where Kitana was setting up the table with teacups and Mileena’s teddies.

“Where’s Tanya?” Kitana asked her sister. “She’s not allowed to come, she’s too busy doing Umgadi training” Mileena pouts “but I brought Zefferro!”. Kitana responds back “but we need three princesses for the tea party!”. Zefferro looked at Kitana then Mileena repeatedly, having no idea what’s happening. “Then let’s put him in a dress! Then there will be three!” Mileena says.

Some time goes past. “Would you like some tea Princess Zefferro?” Kitana asks. Zefferro was dressed up in a poofy dress that was meant for Tanya. “Yes please Princess Kitana!” The three giggled and played but that stopped when Sindel walked in with a smile “what are you ladies doing-“ she stopped when she sees Zefferro “why is he here?” Sindel asked “Tanya wasn’t allowed, so I took Zefferro!” Mileena says with a big grin. Sindel sighs and face palm “Girls, Zefferro has to go back to training or he’ll get in big trouble” Sindel Said. “AWWWW!” Both Mileena and Kitana whined.

At night, Zefferro was fast asleep. His highlight of the day…definitely the tea party. He dreamt the tea party continued and everyone was happy. Then Zefferro saw their reflection…they were…different…but it made Zefferro feel…euphoric..happy. Zefferro was…a princess.

9 years passed and Zefferro was now 15, almost 16. Ever since the tea party Zefferro felt…strange from everyone else but they know what they want…unfortunately it’s unrealistic which makes Zefferro cry themself to sleep at night most nights. Training was up again and a newbie joined, handpicked by General Shao himself. Reiko was desperate to prove himself and that meant going up against the mage in training go prove he was strong.

Zefferro was focusing their abilities to master Hydromancy, a technique used to control the elements of water. Reiko noticed that during Kombat, that Zefferro would always have their staff to try and beat him, he ran past and snatched it. Zefferro stood up with a groan “give it back Reiko!” Zefferro said sternly. Reiko shook his head “no! I demand we battle!” Reiko thought he was smart. Zefferro rolled his eyes “you’re not ready, and I need to practice”. Reiko threw the staff behind him and charged at Zefferro with a war cry. Zefferro however stepped to the side to watch Reiko fall over, he goes to pick up his staff but Reiko tries to snatch it.

“Leave me alone Reiko! Go annoy Skarlet or someone else!” Zefferro was starting to get pissed. Reiko then suddenly knees Zefferro in the groin, causing the mage in trying go fall to their knees in pain. The humiliation and anger rose inside him. He gripped the staff as he glared at Reiko who was almost about to laugh. Zefferro swung and gave Reiko one hard bitch slap with the staff. “I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!” Zefferro screamed before he looked up and saw almost everyone else was in shocked staring at the mage. In reality they knew Reiko had it coming, but for Zefferro it was too much. The Mage turned around and stormed out of the training hall and just stormed to wherever they thought it was best to hide in. The closest place was the Library of spell books.

Zefferro sat down in the dark corner of the library and sobbed through his hands. His groin hurts but not for the reason it’s in pain, the main reason is reminding Zefferro of what they’re not. In a fit of rage, the young mage threw the staff across the room for it to hit a box of books from the top of a shelf and collapsing to the ground. Zefferro looked up and crawled over to the books go put it back. But one caught his mind….Spells of changing. It was marked ‘TO BE BURNED’ but Zefferro couldn’t help but take a peak inside.

Just then the doors flew open and Zefferro quickly hid the book under the shelf before picking up the boxes. They turned to see who walked it “oh…hey Mileena” the mage greeted. Mileena waves “I heard about what happened…with Reiko” she says as she sits down and signals for Zefferro to sit. Zefferro sits across from Mileena “am I in trouble?” They asked. Mileena shook her head “no, to be honest that kid had it coming for a while. Skarlet even almost drained his blood one time” Mileena laughed but Zefferro wasn’t laughing. “Zefferro…what’s wrong? You can tell me” Mileena looked concerned.

The Mage’s eyes began to water “there’s something wrong with me…” they said. Mileena looked even more concerned “Is it Tarkat?” The mage shook their head no “every waking hour of my life…I dream and wish of something considered a fantasy…it’s something that I know will make me so much happier but…theres physically no way to make that happen..” Mileena just listened as she puts her hand on the mage’s shoulder “remember those times where we would do tea parties when we were young?” Zefferro asked, Mileena nodded “well….i wish one part of that was real” Mileena raised a brow “I wish to be a princess…no…a woman like you…like Kitana…” Zefferro confessed.

Mileena was silent before she stood up and hugged Zefferro causing the mage to almost bust into tears “I’m not strong enough to keep going like this Mileena…I’m just tired of living the way I am…” the mage hugs back. Mileena looks at Zefferro “maybe I could ask my mother if there’s anything that can help make home dreams come true” she says. Zefferro looked at her “please don’t tell her it’s from me, I don’t want any more embarrassment” the mage says. Mileena smiled “of courses, whatever you said Zeff…actually do you have a name you want me to call you in secret?”.

Mileena knocks on her mother’s door. “Come in!” Sindel spoke, Mileena walked in “mother! May I ask a question but promise not to get weirded out?” Mileena asks. Sindel looked over at her “sure? Ask away”. Mileena takes a deep breath “I have this friend who’s a boy, but they wish they were the opposite…that friend is asking if there’s a possible way to help make them a woman so they can be happy” Mileena says and Sindel was astonished.

“I actually don’t know…” Sindel says “I doubt it unfortunately”. Zeffero was standing outside the door listening and hearing that broke the Mage’s heart. The book…Zefferro thought at they began to speed walk back to the library. “But that’s outside my knowledge, what I do knew is that we must talk to some mystics and maybe they can help guide your friend” Sindel says. Mileena smiled “thank you mother” she walks away to leave the room but Zefferro wasn’t there.

Zefferro used the staff to get the broom from under the shelf. They opened it quickly and began flipping through the pages “nothing…” Zefferro thought as it seemed like there was no spell for them. But one page turns into the curses spells and one of them was “DNA reversed spell”. Zefferro reads it ‘this curse will effect the victim permanently, the DNA will change chromosomes to the opposite gender, transforming one’s body slowly to the opposite gender. The curse is meant for harming sexual offenders to teach them to what’s it’s like to be disrespected as the gender they offended.”

Zefferro wasn’t a sexual offender…but the curse was perfect. Zefferro continues to read “must have a bowl of…fire? A strong of hair pulled from the roots and drops of blood from the one to be cursed”. Zefferro read to themself. “Skarlet definetly has a bowl for blood magic” the mage stands on only to see a bowl perfect on the top of the shelf marked ‘TO BE BURNED’ “nevermind” Zefferro was getting very excited.

Zefferro had lit the fire into the bowl. They ripped out a strand of hair, from the back of course but now was time for the scary part…the blood. The mage grabbed the staff and pressed their palm against the sharp corner. Taking a deep breath, Zefferro cuts their hand, blood dripping into the bowl as it creates some sparks. Zefferro hissed in pain as they dropped the staff and looked at the book. ‘Now yo recant the spell, repeat the name of the one to be cursed for all eternity. Zefferro begins to recant their name as the flames went from orange to blue in a matter of seconds.

“Zefferro, Zefferro, Zefferro” The Mage chants as the flames grow higher and higher as the flames went from blue to purple. But…the flames suddenly went out. Zefferro looked dumbfounded as they read the book. It just ended there. Zeffero sat in silence as the doors bursts open to the library “ZEFFERRO!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” Sindel screamed as she stormed over seeing what Zeffero did. The mage quickly stood up “This can get you banished!” Sindel was angry but Zeffero just frowns “I just…I’m sorry empress.” The Mage says.

“What do you think you were doing!? Why!?” Sindel was ready to banish Zeffero. “I Just Wanted To Be Happy!” Zefferro cried out. Sindel was taken back but pieces was put together in her head. “Mileena was asking for you….wasn’t she?” Sindel asked. Zefferro nodded in shame “I’m sorry…I didn’t know what to do! I just wanted to be happy”. Sindel looks at the bowl and the spell book before she sighs “you shouldn’t have to resort to this…these books never work..that’s why it’s to be burned” Sindel informs and Zefferro just freezes “I’m going to be banished…aren’t I?”

Epilogue

A few thousand outworld years go by. Lord Liu Kang opens up a portal to outworld. The Lin Kuei grandmaster’s children were to take their mission to outworld to familiarise themselves with the Mortal Kombat tournament, this would be Smoke’s first ever mission with Kuai Liang and Bi-Han. “Remember to be respectful to Empress Sindel and her daughters” Liu Kang says. Bi-Han rolled his eyes as he walked through the portal. Kuai Liang followed and Smoke said “I won’t let you down!”. On the other side a carriage was waiting for them to be taken to the palace.

Upon arrival there were Umgadi leading the way inside. Mileena and Kitana were the first to greet the Lin Kuei. After a small chat, Empress Sinde arrived “greetings, you must be the Lin Kuei” she says. Bi-Han, Kuai and Tomas kneeled for the Empress. “We’re here on orders from Liu Kang for us to get familiar with each other before the upcoming tournament” Bi-Han states. Sindel nodded as the three stood back up “of course, you may have met my daughters and some Umgadi.” She says “but there’s more to meet”.

Mileena and Kitana shows the Lin Kuei to others such as Reiko, Li-Mei, Kotal, Sheeva, Skarlet then General Shao. “That’s everyone?” Kuai Liang asked. Kitana shook her head “the high mage is left, who’s over there right now” she point to the Hanging Garden. The spell Zefferro had done to themself all those years ago….worked. “This is the High Mage of Outworld herself”.

The Mage looked over at them and pulled down her mask to reveal her feminine beauty “you must be the Lin Kuei” she says as she notices Smoke was staring.

“The name is Reina…but for professional purposes you call me by my Mage name…Rain”
