I bought some things at a local Oddities Expo back in September 👀 triiiiiinnnkkeeetttss and beeeetttllleeesss

She has been struggling:( Her motivation for being an adult and participating in school have dwindled. The existence of seasonal depression is so uncool >:[

Side note: Sometimes, I talk about myself in third person because I always try to speak kindly of others when talking about them. It helps to talk about myself as if I’m talking about someone else, if that makes sense :)

I doodled these at little things at work the other day :) 🐶🐱 They are friends :)

Update:

I still love the beetle very much (it’s my favorite color after all). I love it so much that when I visited a science museum a few days ago, I made a cardboard craft inspired by the beetle:)

(My friend made the very cute dragonfly).

I saw a rather large beetle (compared to the other beetles I see) on the sidewalk when I went to work yesterday morning. I checked on it a few times after I found it. It moved a bit throughout the morning and then it was gone.

I really liked seeing it and I thought it was very pretty. I took some pictures of it:)

I guess I liked it so much, I was inspired to write poems about it before bed last night/this morning 😂 I hardly remember writing them.

I love the beetle.

The poem says:

Beetle

Hello little friend

I met you on the sidewalk

So little and green

You sit “in the way”

I believe I am in yours

I love that I'm can always still find out about cool animals that I never knew existed. Like today I learned that brush-tailed porcupines exist and straight up look like giant rats with spines

Proper Care & Feeding for your Goblin Partner

Goblins need a balanced diet of 462 snacks per day. While your Goblin may also partake in "meals" it is essential that they have steady access to foods they can haphazardly shovel into their mouths.

Put a tiny, domesticated creature, like a cat or a snake, or a slightly larger creature like a dog or a horse, near your Goblin. They will be delighted. Expect shrill squealing.

Goblins need piles of Soft things to cocoon in periodically. To preserve their strength.

If your Goblin is hydrophobic, as many are, you will need to periodically prod them into the shower. Be Very Careful. There is a very high Bite Risk during shower prodding.

If your Goblin is the hydrophilic variety, you may need to periodically remove them from showers (or streams, lakes, big puddles, etc.) Be Very Careful. There is a very high Bite Risk during shower removal.
