Dragon’s Hoard

A chromatic crew fanfiction

Chapter 1: A Dragon’s Misery

Color laid in his cave, which sat on a floating island, which had floating rocks as a path to it. It was very isolated up in the clouds. There were no other beings there, just themself and themself alone.

Color was a unique being, with the upper body of a skeleton, and the lower body of a dragon. His scales were muted rainbow, yet his wings were brighter.

Their wings shined in the sunlight like stained glass, so beautiful it could engrave into someone’s mind. That’s how remarkable it was.

Color’s upper half was bare, with the flames from his skull and chest swirling around like smoke from a cigar.

The dragon laid curled up around his hoard, a huff of smoke escaping his nostrils as he laid there, unmoving.

Silence. Color huffed once again before curling around his hoard once more. The many treasures were sparkling under the beam of sunlight which poked through the dark cave.

Color’s eyes gazed up at the shining objects, watching them twinkle. He had collected these items to fill the void within himself, to make him feel whole again. Yet it didn’t work.

Color had been alone ever since they had fallen from the highest of floating islands, where the dragons reside. He tried to fly back; however, his wings couldn’t stand flying for that long anymore after the injury. He always tumbled down every time he tried to fly back.

Scars from where he fell down and injured himself scattered across his half skeleton-half dragon body, each one being different and more-and-less severe depending on how bad the fall was.

Color picked up a few gold coins, slowly dropping them back into the hoard, listening to them clinking rapidly as they fell back into the hoard.

Color knew that once you fell from the dragon floating islands, you are forgotten. It haunted him deep inside that all his loved ones would never remember him again. Everyday he felt the weight of it heavy inside of his ribcage.

He desperately wanted to go back, to try to get everyone to remember him again. But alas, it was impossible. His wings were too weak to fly that high up and nobody would remember him; even if he tried, getting them to remember him would be impossible.

Color lowered his head upon his arms, a soft sigh of sadness escaping him as he closed his eyes, trying to drown out this aching pain.

Their mind wouldn’t stop playing over the same thoughts over and over again. He didn’t want to think about the fact that he was forgotten by everyone he loved from his world. It was all they ever known and yet; they lost everything.

As Color sat inside of his cave and kept his eyes closed, the sun rose slowly from the clouds, the clouds no longer weeping their tears throughout the dark night.

A gush of wind brushed against Color’s face. But it wasn’t the usual wind who brushed against their face. It wasn’t a graceful, flowing movement, like a dance. It was more like a…fluttering.

…Odd. That’s what Color thought. But Color was too deep inside of his boundless thoughts to give it no second thought, not even fluttering his eyes open for a moment to see what it could be.

Color soon drifted to sleep, his body rising and falling with every slow breath as they subconsciously curled around more around their hoard, clinks from the shift of the hoard softly echoing through the cave.

The dragon was deeply asleep, unaware of the strange new thing that flew inside of his cave.

Rivals

in the past, I would have said that there would be a lot of rivalry between Delta and Cross.

Apparently, I was wrong. Because, looking at a lot of things that have happened, I noticed that if someone does something where Delta and Cross appear, they act either in neutral relations or in friendly ones. However, many people indulge in the fact that Killer is more of a rival. Perhaps, there is some truth in this.

BIG GUY AND SMART GUY

I'll say right away, this is only a part of what I discovered for myself. On one site I found quite interesting information about tropes in various works. and. one of those that I discovered for myself, in my opinion, relates well to the Duo of Delta and Epic.

However, it's not that simple. After all, it's mostly a duo of a smart guy and a big guy, villainous or negative, rarely a positive duo. So, it's a Subverted Trope.

Anyway, this is only part of what I found interesting, a little later there will be an extended version, but next time, it will be complete. with a chromatic crew.

Okay, it's a bit unusual thing what i do. Usually, I make posts with drawings about Undertale AU' characters, but this is just a special case.

This time, I just wanted to show my avatar. After all, everyone who draws somethin always has either an Avatar or just a Sona that reflects it. But nevertheless, just shown my avatar character.

I could have done more, but I would have struggled to do so. If I could have done animation, I would have done it like a clip. But alas. I am limited, and can only redrawing.
