I'm dying!!! XD This has such "that's my fetish" vibes! The look on Mallion and Hunter's face, and then the look on Astarion's! For extra contest they opened the door on the bugbear and ogre um.... doing the horizontal happy dance in the barn. I had Kyron leading at this point but you can barely see his face

Still a WIP, but figured I should probably get around to actually drawing my world map since I got so much lore and and story behind it yet no actual map XD I had a map of Darsha from like 2011 which I used to trace around since that's still accurate even now and it was my own art anyway so pshhh! I'm allowed to trace my own shit :P But the other continents I drew for the first time today ^^ I'm not done with labels yet. TBH I do most of my worldbuilding in Darsha anyway XD but the rest of the continents still need their capital cities labelled. But I'll get around to finishing this at some point. The old kingdoms (red) are spots which USED to be capital cities a long long time ago, but are now just ruins with a new capital having been proclaimed and built up else where. Why are these important? ... They're not :P but its easy for me to point at and go "Carlos grew up there". And yes :P there is a pink ocean. Its not the water itself that's pink though, it's the algae and plankton which makes it look pink. Its even pinker if you're close up looking at it, but it's probably not quite as noticeable from a satellite perspective.

Ok... so.... I've not only managed to replace the word "druid" in regards to the d&d class in my world building, but I've named all 4 different types :P (To be clear I'm not trying to erasing druidism, just wanna make it clear when I'm talking about fantasy world building I'm not disrespecting ACTUAL druidism by insinuating its fantasy when I know full well that it's a serious faith and I wish to be respectful of it) So... Those who get their magic from praise of the nature spirits are called the Sylvan Touched. Those who don't praise the spirts but have a connection with nature and draw their magic from it are called Wild-Wardens. There's a cult'like group who are brutal extremists who will kill and/or torture anyone who as much as snaps a branch off a tree who are called the Green Speakers, they have a type of magic that's exclusive to them assuming they've been through the ritual. And then there's the ones who saw all these other guys control plants and went "I want a slice of that pie!!!" and they're called Ecomancers. Ecomancers don't have a connection with nature though and its more like slavery for plants for the sake of nature spell casting.

I'm an advocate for tieflings with hooves. Not only do I just think it looks aesthetically suiting, but it also makes for some humorous moments when you imagine a tiefling rogue failing his sneak because his hooves are clip clopping or a bard getting sassy and walking off like a lady in high heels that clip clop as they walk. Sorkos himself has failed a stealth roll (he's a cleric not a rogue XD he's not made for sneaking) because his hooves have given him away. Dude needs rubber padding on them things if he wants to act rogue!

Kyron the albino tiefling from FaeBridge. The dude is the village tailor, he adores his job and delights in designing and creating clothing for those who will pay for his services. He also once studied as a bard prior to coming to FaeBridge and knows some bardic magic... however he'll never answer the question of just where exactly he studied and will always change the subject or give an answer which doesnt actually answer anything at all. Mind you, he also never shows off what kind of magic he's learned other than the occasional ammature spell like casting light on an object. Its almost as if he's keeping secrets >.> hmmm.....

Ok, so... What if I just renamed druids (as in the D&D class) to something else? So that way I can maybe avoid being disrespectful to actual druidism?
Like, keep it "inspired by" much as the D&D class is inspired by actual druidism, but then if it's got a different name and it's clear it's not supposed to be the same thing perhaps then that would maybe cut out the potential to be unintentionally disrespectful if it's kept separate?
I want to avoid using words like shaman and druid cause I don't feel as though it's my place to use such words which describes other people's real world faiths and cultures for the sake of my own fantasy world building.
Some ideas I have so far are: Wilds wardens, green seers, nature whisperers (or sylvanic whisperers)

So... Question.
I keep avoiding Hunter's shapeshifting ability being linked to any form of druidism in relation to D&D druids because I don't want to disrespect any ACTUAL druids, given that one is a class in a TTRPG and the other is an actual real world faith both with the same name.
So, my question really is... Am I being too cautious? Would it be disrespectful to just give in and say "Fuck it, his abilities come from druid magic" if I made it clear I meant the D&D type druid and not actual real world druid? Or would that still be kinda disrespectful?
I really don't wanna show any disrespect or disregard for anyone or anyone's beliefs or culture.

D&D in a nutshell last night.
We are about to enter a building when the bard is told to make a Dex roll and is bonked on the head and has a sword put to them with a friendly NPC on the other side grinning saying "First lesson, you need to be ready".
To which the heavyweight in the party responds by stepping over the bard to bop the NPC on the nose with the same sentence spoken, rolling a nat 20 and instead knocking the NPC unconscious... To which the whole party then scrambled to drag the NPC into the building and close the door before anyone could see where chaos followed trying to wake him up.
My Kobold Ick who doesn't have a clue about a lot of things much less medicine tried shoving a bunch herbs in his mouth to try wake him up while everyone else was shaking him, and then suddenly I OOC asked the DM "Does this guy have anything shiny on him?" which bard knew exactly what was about to happen and had to throw a bunch of copper coins across the room to stop my Kobold from robbing this guy while he was unconscious XD
It got so chaotic between the guy being punched onto his ass to trying to wake him up to being bribed not to rob him that it hurt to laugh in the end XD

Hunter is a blacksmith by trade as you know, and I can not un-imagine him leaving little cakes or candy outside his forge with a sign meant for the Fae saying something along the lines of "Danger to Fae beyond this point, iron inside. Please remain outside for your safety accept these offerings instead" in a bid to try and stay on good terms with the Fae.
No iron horse shoe above the door or anything to aggressively or passive aggressively ward the Fae away. Just a sign and some offerings so that should any Fae show up they have some offerings as a "sorry you can't come in, but we cool?" Sorta gesture.

Soooo, I quit my job >.>;; it was causing me pain, on top of murdering my sleep and screwing with my mental health as a result.
This does mean I have a little more time for Tumblr though while I try to figure things out, so expect replies and shenanigans soon!

I FINALLY got around to finishing Bone's reff... Not that he was at all dificult XD I just got distracted on other stuff ROFL. But ye, here's Bones at long last. He's a drow necromancer who was polymorphed into a cat as punishment for attempting to raise an a particular reputable dragon. In his defence he done it to help with a war effort, except the elven council didnt look upon this risky move as the actions of a war hero unfortunatley and Bones was punished >.>;
