Any headcanons about Maurice’s family? Like what his relationship with his parents is like?

I love this ask tho Maurice is one of my favs

FAMILIAL HCs -> Maurice

So first, I feel like Maurice gives off major oldest sibling vibes

I hc he’s the oldest of 3 other siblings (2 brothers and a sister)

As far as his parents go, he doesn’t really have much of a relationship with them

They’re like those parents who, from an outsider’s perspective, seem super carefree, fun-loving, and laid back

But more times than not they put themselves before their kids and are just pretty neglectful

Out of all parents of the LOTF kids, they’re the youngest, having had their first child (Maurice) as older teens

Maurice does love his parents though and if you asked him, he wouldn’t say that he has a bad relationship with them

He’s just learned to live on his own basically and doesn’t go to them for any of his needs

Because of this, he basically raises his siblings

He doesn’t mind because he loves them too

He’s a little too naive to see anything wrong with it tbh

Anyways, I love Maurice
