I know I'm not big but I hope this helps you and your family 💜
Help a Family in Need
I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.
Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.
As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.
In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.
Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.
For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.
Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.
Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.
Thank you for reading his story and considering helping a man who has always done everything he can for his loved ones.
Adam

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚃𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎: 𝙰 𝙳𝚛𝚒𝚣𝚣𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙳𝚒𝚜𝚌𝚞𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗
Summary— It's been a couple of years for Odysseus and Penelope, and in that time, they decided to bear a child in their lives, a month before the baby is born, the King of Ithaca gets an unexpected meeting with some other kings about Troy...
Odysseus has never felt better, now as a king with the loveliest woman known to man. He stared at Penelope's sleeping face in a loving gaze, her face was soft, and the light that shone through the window hut her skin with such a beautiful ray that she looked like a Goddess he had in his bed instead of a mortal, but really, she was his Goddess all of the time, she was his light in every dark day and was his power in every weakness he has, she was everything of beauty, brains, and bronze in every way he could think of and he wouldn't change no matter, especially since she was due to give birth a month from now-Gods, he wondered if it was going to be a girl or a boy? Maybe both, maybe neither; he wouldn't care either way because he would love them all the same with all his heart. "Rise and shine, your majesty~!!" A familiar, high-pitched, bubbly, sing-song voice called jovially, making the Warrior of the Mind jolt in his bed, but he did try not to let it show which was a bit terrible on his end. "C'mon, Ody, I know you're up, I saw that flinch!" "Uh, Bali, can I get um, five more minutes..?" He asked of her sheepishly, looking over at his wine barrier, which was a young, small, and chubby ipotane, whose fluffy maroon hair bounced like a majestic lion's as she wore her usual broad smile on her muzzle, she really was like a dotting mother, but that was a bit expected when she was a servant for him but still, she was a goofy sweetheart. "Nuh-uh, Ody, as much as I think it's cute, you and Penelope are lovey-dovey. I can't have you missing out on your royal duties, sorry!" Odysseus groaned lightly, earning a small puff of laughter from the Queen of Ithaca, making him look down at her incredulously, but Bali beat him to it. "I'll get you up soon, Your Highness, exercise is good for the baby." She groaned softly and, in a ditch effort attempt, rolled over and grabbed the blanket, yanking it over her head.
Odysseus giggled at the sight, finding it perfect until the ipotane wrapped her arms around his waist and hoisted him in the air like he was a kitten to her mother cat antics as she bounced over to the bathroom, making him look back at her with shock and then he just went limp with a light shake of his head and a small smile, already knowing there was no way to free himself from her clutches. She happily bounced around the large bathroom while the King of Ithaca got into the already warm-made waters of his bath, dipping into the pool-like incision in the floor and breathing a heavy sigh of relief, slowly leaned back against the concrete and closed his eyes as his hands worked to clean himself, the only thing he had was olive oil, the finest this talented servant of his could make, and she could make plenty. Actually, Odysseus didn't know what she was talking about until he tuned back into reality. "I could make some cake, then sweet bread, poes, and some fritters, I could give Pene a mean granola mix with apples, oh! I'd she'd love it, would help with the baby too!" He smiled widely now, ah Bali, his most trusted servant ever to be as she was the ipotane who saw through everything and anything like a hawk, a bubbly, cheery hawk who was the biggest trump card known to man, and funny enough, the only reason why she became a close friend of his was because of her unpredictability, she was good, but she was a huge puzzle Odysseus wanted to figure out, yet failed every time in doing so.
After his bath, he checked himself out in the mirror, appreciating how he had a nice beard, even though it was stubble around his jawline and chin up to his sideburns hidden behind his fluffy brown hair while he kept his bangs apart for his eyes, he still heard Bali rambling on about his schedule, how he had to teach the children of his kingdom to whittle wood into beautiful sculptures, he needed to teach the teenagers to combat, and to teach potential students of archery, then he needed to do some letters of acceptances for the markets around, possibly change some prices, afterwards he had to have an officials dinner with other kings on how they were going to deal with Troy—"Wait, what?" He asked, turning away from the mirror as he stopped at his motions of styling his hair to look over at the maroon ipotane, who blinked her big eyes at him before repeating, "You have a meeting with some kings about Troy." Oh, shit, he forgot about that part, that the last time he and they spoke, it was about a way to deal with Troy, especially when they didn't accept the offerings of peace or agreement to find another way to co-exist so now was the time for war, something the King of Ithaca dreaded to talk about but he knew he was going to have to as his kingdom was soon going to be the line of sight to Troy and he couldn't have that, not to his subjects. "Fine." "But first, you need a big breakffeeeeaaasssstttt~!!" The servant sang, making him chuckle warm-heartedly as he went back to only pushing his bangs around to make him seem a little clean for his eyes. When he was done and got dressed in a soft white tunic with his red cloak held in place by a golden medallion with a split design of a representation of Ithaca and an owl for Athena, who he still needs to talk to about this, but for now, he was getting dragged about through his castle for him to eat.
"Marie, come on out with the food, I gotta check on the queen next!" Bali exclaimed before bouncing away back upstairs to wake Odysseus' beloved wife after she had sat the king down at the head of the table just when Marie; a young woman with caramel brown skin and black hair tied into a bun with a light green servant dress that complimented her appearance, she carried the tray of food over to him. She bowed before placing the gold platter on the table and lifted the lid, revealing a healthy portioned dish of grapes, sliced apples, strawberries, a big stack of thick pancakes, and some eggs with asparagus. He also had maple syrup and freshly squeezed orange juice, and the king smiled widely, impressed with the ipotane's ability to even do all of this for just breakfast, which had him realize how much of a hard-working woman she was. "For you, Your Majesty." "Thank you, Marie, tell Bali she's doing a wonderful job as always." "Of course, Your Majesty." Marie bowed again be she went back to her duty of cleaning the palace floors just as Penelope walked over to him with Bali bouncing with her, helping her into a chair next to her husband's right as Marie brought another tray for her, lifting the lid to show a plate of eggs with asparagus, bacon, sausage, biscuits, grapes, strawberries, and sliced apples with coffee. "For you, Your Highness," the servant said sweetly, earning a nod from the Queen of Ithaca. "Thank you, Marie, it looks great." She said with a warm smile, getting another bow of gratitude and then turning to Odysseus, leaning toward him and placing a light kiss on his cheek, making him giggle happily before the two shared determined smirks. "The first one finished gets to decide if there is dessert tonight."
"Love, I think I can eat you under the table now." He said, tapping on his stomach in teasing over how she needed to be careful with the baby belly, making her pucker her lips in feigned annoyance. "I see, well, better prove me wrong then." She said, pout turning into a wide smile, lifting her fork up as Odysseus did the same. "Deal!" Soon, the two began eating their meal with Odysseus going as fast as possible to munch down all of his food while Penelope took it slow with a smile, savoring every bite. "Isn't Her Highness going to lose this little contest?" Marie asked herself, but the ipotane hopped up next to her with her right ear twitching as she spoke. "Oh no, she'll be fine; that's Ody, you need to worry about!" Just as the words left her, the King of Ithaca then started hiccupping, loud but not harsh, yet annoying as any time he tried to take a bite of food which automatically allowed the queen to finish her food with ease. "Do make sure that he's drunk water before eating further, will you?" She asked softly, wiping her mouth clean as she stood up from her chair and leaned over to kiss her lovely husband on the forehead, chuckling when she got his hair to puff up in a bigger fluff of brown than it already was, making him look like a mad cat, especially as she spoke further. "Also, let the desert simply be marzipan." The look Odysseus gave her was priceless while he squeaked. "My starlight, why!?" "Why not? You eat too much sugar anyway, my daybreak, so why worry when I'm only worried about your health, my sweet?" She said it so cocky with a wink that it almost made Odysseus get up from his chair just to take the love of his life upstairs and treat himself to her perfect ways of seduction but stopped himself from doing so, allowing her to walk away from the table with a parting sentence. "Go spend time with the kids of our kingdom; I'll handle the paperwork." "Wow..." Seriously, how did he get so lucky to have this woman?
"King Odysseus, I'm not sure I got it..." A small boy with a fair complexion, blond spiky hair, and big blue eyes said to him as he got up to show the King of Ithaca the wooden whale they were working on, which was easy to shape, carving it from a log was the only difficult part to it, but he should've expected a kid or two to not understand it, very well. "What are you not getting, little one." "I'm not the 'carving it out of the wood' part." The boy said as Odysseus bent down to his level to see the problem. This boy loved his classes on wood carving, but he was the one who couldn't get it down properly, something the king wasn't put off by, like the boy's peers who he heard whispering among themselves about it. "I think he's slow..." "Why does the king still allow Pantelis to do this work?" "If you seem to have something to say on the matter of your classmate, you can say it to my name." That had the kids silent over this as Odysseus continued to help Pantelis with making his whale. "Shoot the arrows high until you hit your mark." "Gods be damned!" Yelled a chocolate brown man with long darker dreads as he watched the tan-freckled man with wavy red ringlets hit another wooden target with a perfect bullseye. Despite having one of his green eyes clouded with blindness, the redhead knew how to take aim and hit with precision, and as he got ready to shoot another arrow at a far-off target, the other man couldn't handle his jealousy anymore and rushed over to him, tackling him to the ground, signaling the King of Ithaca to rush over to them in slight annoyance, as this wasn't the first time one of these young men allowed jealousy to cloud his mind towards the sparkling student.
"Sokratis, get off of Charis, NOW!" He barked like a wolf leader of a ruthless pack, yet that didn't seem to deter Sokratis until he noticed how close the king was, making him hop off of the struggling redhead, whose skin was slightly reddened by the struggling so he now glared at the dark man with clear agitation, something Odysseus didn't fault him for having but he knew he should teach this young man how to fight back as he was a stick in that regard. "Sokratis, I have told you and the other men not to let your emotions get the better of you, to not let it go against you-or the other men who you will be fighting with as if you are brothers, so why do you have to pain me by hurting him, all because he is better than you in the aiming aspect of life, okay, I get it, but I don't understand why that would affect you so." He said hotly, glaring down at the teenager with evident disappointment but underlying understanding, arms crossed over his chest as Charis got up from the ground, checking himself before a small grunt left him and the king could clearly see the dribble of blood that ran down the tan skin of this exceptional boy's thigh underneath the white cloth of his tunic. 💭He must've gotten cut with one of the arrows...💭 Warrior of the Mind thought with a heavy sigh of further disappointment that had him rubbing the bridge of his nose tiredly, but he spoke with authority again. "You're down with training as you'll be tending to Charis' wounds as punishment for what you have done, am I clear?" He saw Sokratis wanting to say something but clamped his mouth shut when he saw the king's disapproving stare, only opening his mouth to say: "Yes, Your Majesty..."
The day soon turned into night quickly for Odysseus, but that was bound to happen when he only had requests to accept and write down for his kingdom. Bali bounced around happily while carrying a bowl of wine, refilling the goblets of the other kings who sat at the table, discussing ways to deal with Troy. "I seriously don't understand why I'm here..." said a tall man with a slim figure, dark, rich skin, and black dreads tied back in an updo that seemed to resemble a rose. He was none other than Euryphinx, Little Ajax's advisor, dressed in a purple and trimmed gold doric as he took another sip of wine from his chalice while he only stared at the food bound before him and the other kings, but his nonchalant comment earned him and his unicorn ipotane a questioning look from Menelaus; king of Mycenaean Sparta and Agamemnon; king of Mycenae at him. "Aren't you just here as Ody's advisor?" They both asked in unison and then looked at each other before they laughed with each other, making the advisor roll his eyes heavily as he took another sip of wine from his chalice, but his humanoid equine companion answered for him. "We are here on behalf of King Ajax." "Little Ajax!?" The brothers asked in sync, chuckling a little due to the growing continuous of this simple act, yet that didn't seem to deter the unicorn ipotane from explaining further. "Our king has requested his most trusted advisor to be present in his absence yet wanted my presence in the castle." "How come you didn't stay?" Odysseus asked in question, now curious as to why Ajax couldn't even be bothered to show up to this important meeting, which did sour his already worrying mood. "I wanted her to come for my "protection" when really, and forgive me for saying this, but I don't trust him with Lyke." Again, there was no elaboration from him as Lyke allowed her horn to illuminate a bright magenta glow that had everyone sitting at the table gawking at it as she levitated a carrot to herself and, took a bite, and soon spoke again after a swallow. "I do remember his words being we should fight the Trojans."
"Good, I don't even want to know what the reason is behind that. Anything to get my wife back from those brutes is good enough for me." Menelaus said proudly, earning a nod from Agamemnon in agreement. "I agree, a man's woman shouldn't be in such danger for helping a disrespectful prince." "Agreed!" Exclaimed Nestor, king of Pylos, with a turkey leg raised in the air to show his eagerness that had the royal brothers and Odysseus chuckling just as Bali bounced over to the window, leaving the jug of wine alone at the basin, Odysseus looked over at her but smiled in content, knowing that she was talking to a winged ipotane named Ahe, a kind-hearted freelancer who seems to be doing her job mainly for the animals, however at this time, she bathes in secret in a waterfall near his palace. But the king of Ithaca wasn't the only one who took notice of this, Euryphinx looking at her with a raised eyebrow before glancing at him with an unamused expression. "Odysseus, do you normally allow her to speak with others while on the job?" He mainly asked this because he preferred to have his servants at the ready; no communication, unless it got the job done was his king's motto after all motto, so this certainly confused him. "I have no idea what Ajax has taught the two of you in his kingdom, but if it's anything like how he can't allow you to have civil conversations with each other, I find that very sad." The advisor hummed solemnly, taking another short sip of his wine before he made a small comment. "You're more wise than I thought." That had the Warrior of the Mind smile warmly before he said, "You two can stay here as long as you need," "As much as your kindness is needed, I doubt His Majesty will be pleased." "Then maybe for the duration of the war, he can't exactly say no to that when his king is closer to Troy than mine." "He does have a point, my counselor." Said Lyke, lowering her head to say this while making eye contact with the dark-skinned man's silver eyes, making him nod in reason. "Very well, thank you, Your Majesty." He and the ipotane smiled warmly at the other man, who returned in full and raised his glass. Though he was panicky on the inside, he held his bold demeanor for the men before him, the men he would fight and kill every Trojan with. "A cheer to the promise of Troy's downfall!" "Cheers!!" The men around the table beamed and went into nonsensical conversations that lightened Odysseus' heart just enough to have him forget about his woes but that lasted not very late in the night.
As it got late for them, Odysseus waved Menelaus, Agamemnon, and Nestor off as they headed to a boat that would take a letter to Little Ajax explaining that his advisor and companion were staying with him while they planned to attack Troy when he had a maid lead them to their guest room, he walked further up the stairs and down the halls until he had made it up to his and his wife's room, opening the door to walk in and walk over to their marital bed to lay down on to of it with a heavy sigh in his soft pillow just as his wife walked out of his study after completing most of his work a moment later, Penelope giggled at seeing him there, tired. "My love was dealing with them truly tiring?" She asked softly, sitting down on the other side of the bed, turned to him, and moved his head back to show his face but then paused in shock and concern as she noticed the tears rolling down her husband’s face and his shivering, all signs of clear distress which in turn had her extremely worried. "Odysseus, sweet-tart, what's wrong!?" "I have trained for this...heard stories from my father about them...but I always thought I would see my child grow up before a war happens. Now, I'm more worried about leaving to even deal with childbirth, panicking about it too...I even worry about my life to get back to you both if I leave..." Odysseus replied softly, letting his strong facade give way to the fearful side of him as the Queen of Ithaca laid down next to him, petting his head as she listened, allowing her husband to wrap his arms around her gently and hide his face in her bosom, his shaking calming to stillness as he grounded himself while his wife held him just as close, shushing his sniffles softly. "I'm sorry for letting you do this." "Not this again, Ody; I don't care if you are on your knees weeping like a newborn; you are my husband, and I will always be here for you in more ways than one; I will be here for you, even in death." Odysseus looked up at her with wide eyes, but then they glazed over with tears again and smiled, laughing happily as he let these cheerful, grateful tears fall down his cheeks as Penelope chuckled warmly, kissing his forehead lovingly. "I love you, Pene..." "I love you just as much, Ody." As sleep finally took them, the Warrior of the Mind forced himself to remember a little longer that he had somewhere to be tomorrow.

I know this is going to be a bit controversial, but I'm well ready to hold down this fort because I'm a multi-shipper and I saw many ships going around in the Epic The Musical Fandom, so I'm going to just go off with saying this; YES LADIES, GENTS, NON BINARY PEEPS, I TURNED ODYSSEUS INTO A POWER BOTTOMING WHORE (𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝙸 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚊𝚊𝚢𝚢𝚢 𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚕𝚢 𝚒𝚗𝚜𝚙𝚒𝚛𝚎𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙼𝚊𝚗𝚠𝚑𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝙰𝚞, 𝚜𝚘 𝚒𝚝'𝚜 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚗𝚐 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚘𝚗𝚎!😏)
The lists of ships that's gonna be seen in Windsurfing, to those who will feel uncomfortable by this, I don't mind if you were to leave this fanfic as I am stating this as a warning in case you all won't like to read any further because of this but I will still be writing because why not, I finally feel free enough to do so😊
Odysseus x Penelope (expected, so there's that)
Eurylochus x Ctimene (another expected one, just to prepare ya'll for my wild mind)
Odysseus x Eurylochus (yes, I am doing this, I just love the concept)
Odysseus and his crew (yeah, this includes Polites and Diomedes as these two will be the minimum lovers at best like the rest)
Polites x Moonflower (This won't be the last oc x canon character you'll see from me, but I think this will be the only one for now)
Elpenor x Perimedis (pretty sure you all saw this coming as this pairing is popular, too)
Fauna x Polyphemus (another oc x canon, BUT YOU CAN'T BLAME ME BC HE NEEDS LOVE TOO!)
Amphitheater x Circe (oc x canon, it ain't gonna be new, but it's still cute)
Poseidon x Zeus (and yes, I'm doing this as both a joke and a minor thing. They're literally sex buddies)
Tiresias x Seanarus (oc x canon, the pirate and the prophet!)
Eurylochus x Helios (minor but still think it's worth it, especially for what I have planned for them😈)
Athena x Calypso (let me have my rare pairs, too, and this one is it! So cute!)
Dare x Athanasios x Zeus (oc fuck buddies for the King of the Gods! 🤣)
Cirsè x Ares (ain't ruining Aphrodite and his relationship, but I honestly think it would be nice if he was dating someone during their relationship, Aphrodite's already a cheater so this shouldn't be a problem)
Cirsè x Orcus (end goal couple and it's healthy from a God! 😊 {minor})
Daynus x Sanibel (yes, oc x oc ships are gonna be just as expected {minor})
Zell x Foluis (ocs {minor})
Bali x Ahe (ocs {hella minor})
Odysseus x Poseidon (THE END GAME SHIP!!🥰🥰🥰)
Yeah, I know I have a bunch more characters, I'm just not sure who to put with who for now, gonna update this in no time, so don't worry but I'm getting ready to warn you about it in case any of these ships are going to make you uncomfortable, along with the kinks because I am adding just one as I don't have anything else that's remotely weirder but is gonna be here to add in just for you guys to know; male lactation, Google it, but if I hear one nasty, disciple, the thing about the kids, request or comment, I'm BLOCKING YOUR DISGUSTING ASSES, yes, I know what I'm getting into doing this, yes I plan on handling this with the utmost care possible, and I plan to, at least, put trigger warnings up in case you guys are uncomfortable reading those parts in particular, but that's all the warnings I have for you guys.
If you have any questions, you can ask in the comments or in the ask box. I also would love it if you guys have requests in mind for this story, but for now, that's all. 😁
#epic the musical#Windsurfing#odyseidon#poseidon x odysseus#I'm a little sick#I know#Hope you guys still enjoy this

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚃𝚠𝚘: 𝙰𝚗𝚐𝚞𝚕𝚊𝚛-𝙲𝚑𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙰𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚜
Summary—
After severing his connection to Odysseus, instead of just reconnecting with him, Poseidon decides that he should ask Athena for one more favor that'll help him move on, even if that's not what the Goddess of Wisdom sees but instead of taking his niece's smarter and healthier advice, he doubles down...
After Athena tucked Odysseus back into bed, she watched him closely for a moment, seeing if he had awoken time during the walk-up here, but she only watched him simply snuggle against his beloved wife, resting his face in the crook of her neck as she sighed sweetly at the contact, still sleeping soundly in their marital bed, which she was still surprised that existed to this day, but she had to admit, he was one hell of a carver to have it all the way up here and still alive too no less. 💭Athena...💭 💭Yes, uncle?💭 The Goddess of Wisdom asked from her mind now that she and Poseidon were having a mental connection with each other, she quietly walked over to the doorway of the newlyweds' bedroom, and she stopped there to look back at them so swiftly that if one of them were awake they wouldn't have been able to close even one of their eyes yet she saw nothing but the two still in deep sleep with Hypnos so she turned around and continued walking into the hall and down it to leave the castle, well aware why the elder God was speaking to her in the conspicuous way possible without his presence being here. She walked over to a window, looked out at the town below, and saw how nice it would be to fly around the now-empty streets colored in blue and violet hues thanks to the moon and accompanied darkness enveloping the place.
The Warrior of Tatic and Strategy then transformed back into an owl and flew from the palace down to the town, flying through the buildings and the streets before she flew over to the stone walkway to the sea God's shrine, flying up the stairs languidly before she reached the alter and looked around it to see where she last saw the gift Odysseus left for him and spotted not too far from the statue of Poseidon, swooping down and grabbed it up in her beak before flying off and down to the sandy shores where she left him at. His figure slowly came into view for her, and when she was close enough to him, she seamlessly transformed back into her more humanoid form once more and kept her knelt position in front of the God of Tides, who stood there, staring down at her, his eyes had turned back to normal a while ago before she came back, his entire being was now out of the water allowing his pale blue toga to form the illusion of his precious waters at his feet like a waterfall. "Did you get–?" "Yes, uncle, I got it here." She said, holding out her hand up to him, which held a sack with a painting of waves with the finest paints imaginable for any God to appreciate on it and was tied shut with a Persian blue ribbon.
Poseidon blinked at it in confusion. That was nice, but he was wondering what was inside of it. Seriously, what could Odysseus have been up to to make such an effort to place whatever the gift was in such a sweet-looking sack of his vision, reaching down to pluck it out of his niece's hand and holding it in his own, his curiosity devouring his sense of hearing apparently blocked by his mind going still from how thoughtful the sack alone was until a feather stuck out in front of him before quickly tickling his nose, making him scoot back sharply with speed rivaling the gout of wind that calmly blew by. He shook his head heavily and then sneezed just as heavily, then soon looked up at Athena angrily, watching her snort before chuckling quietly to herself at the sight, her mouth covered by her scarred hand while she tried to gain her composure back as he opened his mouth to speak. "You do that again, I'll make sure you won't fly again with those pesky feathers, got it?" "Way to kill the vibe, uncle." Athena chastised lightly in an airy tone, far from the serious one she was carting around so much. It actually made him wonder again when she became so strict on herself from the child she used to be from what felt like a day ago when it was only many years.
He couldn't help the small smile, warm and genuine rest on his face that made him seem more capable of the act than his usual deep scowl, even his horsetail wagged in response to his emotion. "So what do you think is inside?" Athena asked, her voice residing of little emotion, yet her cape feathers twitched just enough to show how eager she was to know, but Poseidon knew that she really should be going to Olympus by now as much as he wanted to open it right there and then for his sake as he wasn't sure if he could rush back to Atlantis to open it, he knew he should be the wiser of the two but he had a very important question to ask the Goddess of Wisdom, one that may soften the blow he was still reeling from in his mind. "Athena, I'll tell you what I have from your student if you do me something that's well-needed." She blinked owlishly but nodded all the same. "Sure, seems like a fair enough trade as I'm due to return home anyways. What is it?" He sucked in a deep breath, letting the cold air fill his lungs before he let it go, finally finding the courage to speak some more. "Can you...keep me updated on Odysseus' life?" Athena looked like a confused mortal with an air bubble in her mouth as she stared dumbfounded at her uncle as her brain tried to allow her to process the absurdity of that request, finally, she managed out a rather strained "Why" like it was bitter nectar she struggling to swallow as this was the most ridiculous thing to ever be said, one the Goddess wasn't taking all to well.
"Because I...want to, okay?" Poseidon answered snappishly like a dog barking for authority, but he realized this was going to be harder on him than he thought as he saw the Goddess of Wisdom's expression of confusion grow more pronounced before she asked. "Why not wait for him to call you? He has been at your shrine, so I don't see why—" "I severed my connection with him..." Now the younger being looked at the elder one with bafflement at his perplexing decision, and he didn't blame her. This was really stupid to hear. "Why would you do that?" "I-uh did it a while back, and I never reconnected with him since." The God of Tides lied as swiftly as he could to make it look like he had simply forgotten about it when he was really tricking her and being the oldest God of them all he knew Athena was just going to have to take his word for it, which thankfully for him, she seemed to accept it a little, good. "Okay, but why not reconnect with him? If you want to be in contact with him, he would probably be overjoyed about it." Ah, if only she knew it was far too late for that to work in both their favors. "I don't feel that comfortable in doing so." "Yet feel comfortable enough to task me with being your personal Hermes?" "Do you intend on not being his mentor after this night?" Athena blinked before answering with a questioning tone. "No?" "So what's the problem with my request?" "Nothing, aside from the fact that you have to be your personal Hermes rather than reconnecting with Odysseus for unknown reasons you won't entrust me with but want me to gossip about my student with you." The King of the Ocean wrinkled his nose and let out an indignant snort at that.
"You make it sound as if I'm using you to take his kingdom or something." He said hotly, his eyes slowly reverting back to those threatening waves again as he spoke, but Athena stared up at him with a raised brow and a look of indifference as she crossed her arms again. "I'm just saying that if you don't feel comfortable with reconnecting with him but insist that I should tell about his life from here on out and with no reasons given, you can't expect me to just be carefree about this when it looks suspicious." She explained in that expected blunt way of hers whenever she felt she was right about something, which she wasn't, but she really didn't need to know it. Poseidon sighed heavily, his tail whipping around behind him in a show of his growing irritation as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I don't intend on doing anything but listening to what you tell me about him, I promise." He finished through gritted teeth when the Warrior of Tatic and Strategy didn't look convinced, but now she held a satisfied smile on her face. "Good, and I would still like to hear what the gift Odysseus gave you was." "Very well..." The God of Tides reluctantly drawled but was so glad that Athena accepted his offer before turning around and letting her cape unfurl to flap and lift her high into the sky to be at Olympus Poseidon sighed heavily in relief, thankful the Goddess didn't question things further, but now he stewed in the thought of why Athena loved acting like a mortal when she could just do that, yet, he told himself he'll have plenty time to ask that, now, he needed to head back to his own home to process tonight.
He walked into his palace, large and vast, resembling that of coral with various shades of blue making up the color scheme of his wonderful home, white accents making it pop but the lots of pearls and jewels of many sizes yet placed in the right spots with the right amount of them that brought much-needed color to not have it be an eyesore of bleakness for his home, reliefs of many large sizes filled the hallways he walked down as he made his way closer to his room, finally stopping in front of the big, ornate dark blue door of intricate details with that contained mostly a large horse and dolphin in the center of waves that formed a heart around the animals, it was in his best choice to have done it to show his love for his wondrous queen; Amphitrite. Opening the door, he walked in and closed it behind him before a light, catty voice spoke up. "Hello, my dearest grumpy horse! Did you have fun listening to one of Odysseus' ramblings again?" His beloved pearl asked him from their bed that she languidly lay upon, her pale legs crossed over each other as she kicked the foot that rested on her lower leg lazily, Poseidon blinked, he didn't expect her to come back from her little trip so soon, but he was happy to be in a welcomed presence due to still feeling at sour feeling that rested unwittingly in his gut, so he smiled widely, showing his shark teeth to her perfect pale cyan eyes. "Yes, my giggly jellyfish, I even have a gift from him too." "Oooohhh, he gifted something to you, oh, you must unravel that ribbon this instant~!!" She enthused, something that had the sea God soaking up her good mood that he was jittery about it too!
However, it was when he sat on the bed and felt his wife's gentle hands on his shoulders that the anxiety trickled through his veins like the raindrops of a cloud until it became a storm of nerves as he slowly reached up and grabbed the ribbon to tug it loose from its perfect tie to open the sack up, something as red as a mortal's blood was the first thing they saw, reaching into it, Amphitrite pulled out a big Red Delicious apple from the sack which made them both blink in surprise at it then Poseidon reached out for the next big red thing inside, however, it was plush of red fabric when his fingertips brushed against it, making him grab it up gently than his inattention and pulled it out for his wife to see as she snacked on the apple lightly, he then placed the sack down next to his right side to hold the red fabric underneath, it unraveled slowly to show a multitude of red grapes that made the sea God's heart jump with pure excitement, his tongue snaking out to lick his lips slowly in a show of his quick hunger pang he felt in that moment as the Goddess of the Sea giggled lightly at the reaction.
"Eat those after you show me what else is inside that sack." She said airly, making her husband glance at her with squinted eyes for a split second before he handed his grapes off to her to hold as he grabbed the sack up again and dug in to pull out a small, yellow, wooden horse, it was like a miniature figure, the couple blinked at it until Poseidon found himself eagerly pulling out more wooden horses, his tail wagging happily like an excited child on their birthday, each horse had beautiful designs all sculpted from the wood that made them up, from lilypads, small frogs, fish of all types, and even a pair carved together that was of a loving couple, nuzzling their heads together, one with dolphins on it and the jellyfish, making the aquatic couple to awe at it before he hands it to his beloved to have her swim over to the alter in their room with the other smaller horses, clams that held big pearls, and coral that made shapes of pear beauty or about him and Amphitrite. As Poseidon was about to pit the sack aside, assuming it was empty, the Queen of the Ocean saw something sparkling from within. "Hun, wait, there's still some inside," she pointed out wistfully, making him blink in surprise before he opened the sack again and slowly dug into it, feeling something cold inside and soon a piece of paper. He slowly pulled the last item out, and he lost his breath in an instant. His ears twitched slightly in acknowledgment of the quiet gasp he heard from Amphitrite as the two stared at the dark blue, glass sculpture of the King of the Ocean, whose eyes sparkled and glowed heavily in a cheery happiness that had his tail wagging around and making loud thumps against the mattress, his wife's dolphin tail wagging in tune with his.
"It's beautiful." Amphitrite breathed softly, giving Poseidon more goosebumps as he turned the figure around gently, carefully in his hand while he gawked at it with loving eyes. It captured him in his younger days when he wore gladiator attire and had a large Friesian horse, his horse, from his past and for his form, the details were extraordinary with fine groves and curves that made up every single one. He fixated on the sculpture for what felt like long moments, moments that apparently had his eyes more than his wife's hand that reached over and grabbed the note that sat on his lap, read it, and then with a small smack on his thigh, he snapped back to reality to look over at said note and see what it says. 'Dear King of the Ocean, if you're reading this, that means you have my gift to you from going to your shrine yourself or Athena handed it to you out of the kindness of her heart-or maybe because she thought I would pester her about which she wouldn't be wrong about-however you got it, this is my goodbye present to you in case you have heard my ramblings-sorry for bothering you for so long if you did-I want to at least remember me in a favorable light, so I made you these from my hands, and had some help with the glass figure-Athena really knows her stuff, so lucky to have her too! But this is about you finding my parting gift to you to your liking; I hope you do at least entertain this man who adores your seven seas as much as you do. Take care, my epithet. Sincerely, little king Odysseus' 💭Odysseus, your kindness seems so endless. May it never change.💭 "What do you think about this young mortal?" Amphitrite asked sweetly as she took the blue figure from her husband to place with the others. "I think," He started softly, looking at the figures on the altar before he continued. "I think he will be a fine ruler."

Windsurfing character involvement
Characters in it and what will happen in it–unless I change my mind based on the audience's opinion—
First things first, the characters are obviously going to be from Epic The Musical with some of my OCs in it, just a little, but I'm thinking of writing this story in a separate part for that to happen, just so it makes a bit more sense but for now this story will have a small few that don't impact the story in any major way, AKA background characters. But for now, these are the main characters.
Red–Odysseus, Hermes, Ares, Polyphemus, Astyanax, Scylla, Antinous, Diomedes, Dare, Hephaestus, and Altair
Orange-Zeus, Apollo, Cirse, Eurylochus, Eurymachus, Helios, Eris, Harmonious, Alcides, Nausicaa, Polites, Ganymede, and Amphinomous
Blue-Poseidon, Athena, Telemachus, Aerius, Alcinous, Amphitrite, Aleous, Zell, Mahlon, Lilyspis, and Little Ajax
Green-Hera, Elpenor, Perimedis, Anargyros, Foluis, Hades, Tiresias, Orcus, Melanthius, Menelaus, and Ctimene
Purple-Penelope, Siren!Penelope, Circe, Pheme, Arete, Sanibel, Florinus, Moonflower, Selene, and Hypnos
Pink-Aphrodite, Eros, Sri, Dionisie, Athanasios, Daynus, Seanarus, Amphitheater, Calypso, Dionysus, and Pieride
These are the characters in this story. Yes, most will be sharing a color. Just go with it, pls😭 But as for the plot, I'm making it as close to the start plus musical as possible with some, changes but they're small compared to the OCs-filled one, which yes, I have added some of them into this story and others are actually from the story but to not confuse anyone, here are my characters! 😊
Sri
Dionisie
Athanasios
Daynus
Seanarus
Sanibel
Florinus
Moonflower
Anargyros
Foluis
Amphitheater
Zell
Aerius
Lilyspis
Mahlon
Orcus
Dare
Harmonious
Alcides–who isn't mine but I shamelessly took from the fanfic called Toyed with by the Gods, which I still wanna read, but Nyx_Writing, I hope you don't mind the small cameo your sweet OC gets in my fanfic, I just have a thing for cute small guys and something tells he gives off that energy while being the buffest or even most toned guy aboard Odysseus' crew, so I need him
But yeah, the pilot's gonna be a bit different from the original (of course me, c'mon–) but I plan on keeping the many plot beats and having some of the song lyrics in it, just enough to carry the story more than my long paragraphs can so yeah, as for the way it's going to change, especially in the big change for this ship to skyrocket, I'm keeping them🤫🤫😏 for ya'll to see only so have fun guessing where this goes, and that's all I can think of for now, so thank for reading and be on the lookout for chapter two cause it's coming!😁😁

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝙾𝚗𝚎: 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚖 𝚆𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜
Summary—
Odysseus finally became king tonight, but this soon became the start of a horrible thing for Poseidon to hear as he no longer has a reason to be excited to hear more of the mortal's stories or see his presence anymore. The sea God has no idea how to take this, and thus, himself being the dramatic type, does something drastic to cope...
"Oh, I wish Athena could've seen how I finally became king~" Odysseus swooned over the cool ocean. It was a calm, nice night for the young King of Ithaca, who just became the bearer of the title tonight after his–their wedding, and he was completely smitten over it, yet his nerves made him come out here on the canoe he always used to set himself far from his–kingdom now–to talk to himself to clear his mind, however, he always felt like he was watched by the God of Tides, King of the Ocean; Poseidon, whenever he was even near the ocean, near his domain. This was different. However, he was unsure how long he would be cooped up in the castle, but he would make sure to make this final speech of his right, after all, before Athena, the sea was his first friend and it was only fair that his goodbye made it count, but he couldn't help but think this was his way of saying farewell instead.
"Lord Poseidon, King of the Ocean, God of these very tides, I need to thank you especially for being there for me the most, when I was taught how to swim so much so that skill is embedded into my very soul, even if I were to fall asleep in your cooling embrace, I would learn how to stay above it for my survival. I am really honored you took the time out of your busy day to listen to me and my woes. Even if you had something more important to do, I'm still glad you did, and I will be indebted to you for a lifetime, even if this is the final time you see my face because I became king, I will be just as busy as you, my father, and Athena, I will be a king dealing with problems and listening to the woes of his people like you and Athena have for me, especially when I talked your heads off about my beloved Penelope, who I married now, she's everything imaginable to the word of perfection, plus more~"
Odysseus swooned again, falling back on the canoe, his arm landing above his eyes lightly, especially for the rough texture of his leather armband as he lay there like a tired starfish basking in the moonlight's reign to feel the sweet embrace of Selene, sighing heavily as exhaustion befell his body before he continued in a much softer tone now. "I wanted you to know, my Lord, my epithet, that I'm glad you were the first ever friend I made and kept for so long, I'm so glad I did, thank...you...my friend..." Odysseus drawled slowly as Hypnos' hold finally took over him, to bring him to the land of dreams, to which he soon started snoring softly, completely asleep with a small smile on his face, a large webbed hand rose quietly from the water, even the droplets made no noise from the extraction since they were being absorbed by the appendage.
The olive, calloused hand was attached to a strong arm with a dark blue rippling fin on the forearm. The rest of the body soon lifted upwards to show pure black curtain bangs that almost overshadowed aqua-blue eyes that stared down at him with a warmth that was a surprise from the usually grumpy sea God, whose horse ears twitched around to make sure no dangers were coming to the young king before him, a small smile tugged his lips upward, lifted his long, wavy beard up with the motion. He was, of course, none other than Poseidon himself, who simply stared at Odysseus as he slept, appreciating how his peachy skin shone underneath the moon's glow, how his messy chocolate brown hair was swayed by the wind of salt water to flow calmly in its hold until it finally let go to still the locks over the man's face just a little but it was enough to have Poseidon brush it away feathery light with his hand to see that short bearded face more, appreciating how there was only that much hair there to come off as stubble, thin lines of it fitting his smooth and soft skin to perfection.
Yes, Poseidon remembered, he remembered the conversation that Odysseus thought he was having by himself that Eurylochus-his friend, he thought, got his beard growing in fast and before him, who had yet to see a strand of it until it finally came the day after his complaint, making him talk about until he fell asleep, allowing the God of Tides to make sure he was sleeping soundly, he soon realized that this sleeping-out-in-the-sea act had become a normal thing ever since he was a boy and with it came the God's overwhelming desire to watch over him. At first, it was just out of the blue, he honestly didn't know why he was watching aside from seeing the man toss and turn, possibly ending up in the water, but he slowly found himself getting closer and soon making sure Odysseus didn't do no such thing, and soon the mortal's company on his waters became more welcomed more than his father's as he came to visit more and more, talking endlessly about things that made King of the Ocean feel many emotions.
Some range from amusement to slight irritation whenever they contain something or someone slightly slighting the young king or another emotion that appears when Odysseus talks of his beloved wife, Poseidon knew what it was, deep down he did but he scoffed it up to it being a phase, a phase he was going to have to outgrow as this was last time he would see this bright mortal again...huh. Now that the message was settling clearly in his mind, he realized just how much he was going to miss the man before him, how much he was going to miss his ramblings, how much this was going to be silence from Ithaca once again, how much it was going to affect him. He truly didn't realize how this was going to affect him until he allowed himself to think about it, the one thing he hated doing when things never worked out for him and this, this was the one thing he wanted to avoid when he heard Odysseus' goodbye, making him growl in annoyance and something else he couldn't afford to think about now, not when he was thinking about kidnapping the King of Ithaca for himself to be his, and his alone.
"Uncle, I know that look. Why are you planning on killing my apprentice? He's not doing anything to warrant your anger, so why the look?" A familiar voice called out to him, making him look up to the source as an equally familiar owl flew over to them and landed on the end of the canoe, slowly transforming into his niece with her signature owl-like cape draped over her shoulders and held in place with her golden clip that had her owl design on it that held it in place, allowing her tan, muscular arms to cross over her chest with her usual imposing stance her mother would be proud of but now her critical eyes were on him from underneath her helmet that hid her face from view and he blinked at it before asking. "What are you talking about, Athena?" "I am talking about how you planned on drowning my student just for existing." Poseidon tilted his head in further confusion because what? He stared at her for what felt like a century until he chuckled and soon the chuckling turned into stifled laughter that was loud but his hand was covering his mouth to not wake the sleeping mortal before them, a tear dribbled down his face as he went on until finally he breathed a long-winded sigh of joy with a couple of chuckles that indicated his dying down laughter. "Oh, I can assure you that I don't intend on drowning him, especially when I have no reason to." Athena blinked in surprise through her helmet because she didn't expect this. Clearly, Poseidon could even swear he saw her feathers actually ruffle in her disbelief at what she was hearing.
"Oh, I thought you were going to kill Odysseus for just sleeping here. Good to know it's just your resting look tricking me again. Sorry, uncle." Athena said before she sat down and looked over at him again, this time with expectancy before he reluctantly moved away from the canoe to watch as she grabbed the ores and began rowing back to Ithaca, the island that would take the young king away from him for good, something that made him sick with...dread? Why dread, On his name, what was he feeling was he feeling during this, how could be feeling such a thing for no reason, this was just a random mortal, a man who should mean that much to him and yet here he was, watching over him as he turned on his other side to snore about more. "Why are you following?" The sudden question from the Goddess snapped him out of his thoughts, and he looked up at her with a horse-caught-in-water expression. "Huh?" "Why are you following us, I'm not going to do anything reckless, so you don't have anything to worry about." Oh, that's what she was talking about, Sweet Atlantis-what else could she be talking about, Poseidon!?
"Uh, because I want to..?" He answered, sounding unsure, and apparently, it was enough to have the Goddess of Wisdom squint her eyes in suspicion at his answer, but she turned forward once more to focus on her task at hand as she covered more ocean and got closer to Ithaca, the sea God tensed at it, a queasy sensation overtaking him, his ears flattening close to his head as his hair became more wavy in nonexistent wind and slowly became an ultramarine blue that glowed brightly, Athena noticed but forced herself to not say anything until Poseidon asked. "Why did you come out here, anyway?" She glanced back at him, seeing he was staring at Odysseus with his eyes now fully consumed by his eye color with waves flowing through them, yet she knew the question was directed to her so she answered calmly. "I saw Odysseus wander out here. He was at your shrine before he came to his canoe, I was watching from atop the tower of his kingdom." "Is it true that he's married now?" "Yes." The Warrior of Tatic and Strategy responded quietly, her cape fluttering a little in happiness over the fact, much to Poseidon's further salty wound on the matter.
"Okay." He answered softly just as they finally came to the shore, and that was when he finally let go of the boat as Athena got up and reached over, grabbing Odysseus up from in her arms gently even if she did look a little uncomfortable doing it which is expected when she wasn't the one who never did this in her life, especially now, just as she was about to turn around to walk up to walk to the castle, the God of Tides couldn't stop himself even though he wanted to, he couldn't do it anymore, even though this request was stupid, he couldn't do it anymore. "Wait, can you bring down what he offered me..?" He asked softly when he got Athena's attention, who blinked in confusion before she answered him. "Okay." With that, she turned around and walked away from him, leaving him with his thoughts as he wondered. 💭Why the hell is she so invested in living around like a mortal? She could've just flown here.💭 Then again, he knew she was fascinated by the transports and ways humans got around on land that her curiosity practically made her forget how far apart she was from them, even if she stated what she was many times, she never truly tired acting like it when it came to something even more interesting to do that mortals can, so he honestly couldn't blame her.
But now, he has left alone with his thoughts once more, and he could not help but feel this was the ending of something that gave him a reason to relax and warm up a bit until now, when everything went to shit because of a stupid coronation and fucking wedding, now everything was that made him calm and question mortals out of amusement gone in a single day and he was even unsure if it would be the actual end or a new beginning, but to him, he felt something snap within himself as he let this weird emotion sink in until he made a drastic mistake that would haunt him afterward but at this time it was the right thing he could think of doing. He severed his connection with the Warrior of the Mind. He knew that if this was the end, he wouldn't contact him anyway, so he could be at some peace, knowing that this goodbye signaled a necessary end for both of them, so he knew this was okay. 💭This is better for us, better for you, goodbye, little Odysseus, may you and your wife live long and bear a child as strong and smart as you, you cunning little soldier...💭
