Once you’ve looked over all those cool links, I have some general advice for you on how you can have some sort of support system going for you:
Reasons to move out of home
You may decide to leave home for many different reasons, including:
wishing to live independently
location difficulties – for example, the need to move closer to university
conflict with your parents
being asked to leave by your parents.
Issues to consider when moving out of home
It’s common to be a little unsure when you make a decision like leaving home. You may choose to move, but find that you face problems you didn’t anticipate, such as:
Unreadiness – you may find you are not quite ready to handle all the responsibilities.
Money worries – bills including rent, utilities like gas and electricity and the cost of groceries may catch you by surprise, especially if you are used to your parents providing for everything. Debt may become an issue.
Flatmate problems – issues such as paying bills on time, sharing housework equally, friends who never pay board, but stay anyway, and lifestyle incompatibilities (such as a non-drug-user flatting with a drug user) may result in hostilities and arguments.
Your parents may be worried
Think about how your parents may be feeling and talk with them if they are worried about you. Most parents want their children to be happy and independent, but they might be concerned about a lot of different things. For example:
They may worry that you are not ready.
They may be sad because they will miss you.
They may think you shouldn’t leave home until you are married or have bought a house.
They may be concerned about the people you have chosen to live with.
Reassure your parents that you will keep in touch and visit regularly. Try to leave on a positive note. Hopefully, they are happy about your plans and support your decision.
Tips for a successful move
Tips include:
Don’t make a rash decision – consider the situation carefully. Are you ready to live independently? Do you make enough money to support yourself? Are you moving out for the right reasons?
Draw up a realistic budget – don’t forget to include ‘hidden’ expenses such as the property’s security deposit or bond (usually four weeks’ rent), connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
Communicate – avoid misunderstandings, hostilities and arguments by talking openly and respectfully about your concerns with flatmates and parents. Make sure you’re open to their point of view too – getting along is a two-way street.
Keep in touch – talk to your parents about regular home visits: for example, having Sunday night dinner together every week.
Work out acceptable behaviour – if your parents don’t like your flatmate(s), find out why. It is usually the behaviour rather than the person that causes offence (for example, swearing or smoking). Out of respect for your parents, ask your flatmate(s) to be on their best behaviour when your parents visit and do the same for them.
Ask for help – if things are becoming difficult, don’t be too proud to ask your parents for help. They have a lot of life experience.
If your family home does not provide support
Not everyone who leaves home can return home or ask their parents for help in times of trouble. If you have been thrown out of home or left home to escape abuse or conflict, you may be too young or unprepared to cope.
If you are a fostered child, you will have to leave the state-care system when you turn 18, but you may not be ready to make the sudden transition to independence.
If you need support, help is available from a range of community and government organisations. Assistance includes emergency accommodation and food vouchers. If you can’t call your parents or foster parents, call one of the associations below for information, advice and assistance.
Where to get help
Your doctor
Kids Helpline Tel. 1800 55 1800
Lifeline Tel. 13 11 44
Home Ground Services Tel. 1800 048 325
Relationships Australia Tel. 1300 364 277
Centrelink Crisis or Special Help Tel. 13 28 50
Tenants Union of Victoria Tel. (03) 9416 2577
Things to remember
Try to solve any problems before you leave home. Don’t leave because of a fight or other family difficulty if you can possibly avoid it.
Draw up a realistic budget that includes ‘hidden’ expenses, such as bond, connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
Remember that you can get help from a range of community and government organizations.

Know what I’m salty about?
In all my art classes, I was never taught HOW to use the various tools of art.
Like yes, form, and shape and space and color theory and figure drawing is important, but so is KNOWING what different tools do.
I’m 29 and I JUST learned this past month that India Ink is fucking waterproof when it dries. Why is this important? Because I can line something in India Ink and then go over it with watercolors. And that has CHANGED the ENTIRE way I art and the ease I can create with.
tldr: Art Teachers: teach your students what different tools do. PLEASE.

I rewatched Lord of the Rings the other day and you know what I really appreciate?
The men are so tender.
They cry, and kiss each other’s foreheads, and hug, and call each other ‘my friend’ and ‘my dear’; they’re respectful to women and faithful to their partners; they have banter without being creepy and sleazy, and literally none of that stops them from being considered “manly”.
More Lord of the Rings men please.

Idea #2: Todoroki Touya Died Due to a Quirk Related Accident
This is absolutely not a-never-before-seen idea. Ever since the below image was revealed, people (including myself) have been speculating things related to what I’m going to talk about in this post. That being said, since I want to outline all ideas I think are plausible, I’m going to write a summary of my take on it. You can read my first idea here, although the topic is a little sensitive.
Like last time, I’ll bullet point important details about Touya and Dabi that relate to this theory- They’re different than the points in Idea #1. ALSO, I’m going to reference the below photo a lot.

For length, the rest the will be under the cut.
This theory assumes that Touya is the smallest son and Natsuo is the middle son in the above photo.
Background Summary
We have yet to see the small boys face. Not when they were playing, not in the most recent image. We have never seen his face.
The small boy’s hair color was changed to red in the anime
Assuming this is Touya, he is very small for his age
Natsuo is 19 now and Fuyumi is 22. Touya is the oldest. Taking the twin theory into account, the minimum age for Touya is 22. The maximum current age for Touya is 26.
The minimum age I would say Endeavor had Touya is 20 y/o since this is when he “gave up”
Shouto has a 4 year age gap with Natsuo, and Natsuo has a 3 year age gap with Fuyumi
If this photo is from when Shouto was 5, it would make Natsuo 9 and Fuyumi 12. Touya would 12-16. Dabi theory aside, this is how old Touya has to be if this small boy is Touya.
Outside of being short, the smallest son is particularly thin compared to his siblings

Up to you if you want to include this one, but I think relavent enough. Compared to the more muscular-frames of most BNHA characters, Dabi is rather thin as well.

Dabi’s body is covered in burn-like scars and surgical staples
Dabi’s quirk is very powerful- blue fire is the hottest fire gets, and he can control it to this extent

Dabi has made a few references to being weak (I think that the idea of being/feeling weak could apply VERY WELL to Idea #1 as well)
None of the Todorokis have outwardly expressed that they recognize Dabi as their brother
Natsuo revealed Touya’s name
When introducing Touya, he references the neglect of (assumingly) him and Fuyumi, Rei’s screaming, and Shouto’s crying
He said something along the lines of “and about Touya…” alluding to something specifically happening to Touya
Idea #2: Touya Died Due to a Quirk Related Accident
While the fire and ice combination can create someone with virtually no weaknesses (Shouto) it also has the ability to go very, very wrong
Fire and ice are complete opposites. They cancel each other out
Shouto is literally half fire and half ice, which is why he was deemed perfect
In an “imperfect”-scenario, a mix of fire and ice could result in an incredibly weak quirk (Fuyumi, Natsuo?) or person (Dabi)
Touya may have inherited a body suitable for ice (e.g. how a point is made to show that Rei, Fuyumi and Natsuo are all sensitive to the heat) yet has a strong fire quirk
This may have affected his health and growth (e.g. body constantly fighting to maintain correct temperature, easily falling ill, constantly having a fever, etc.)
Overall, in this scenerio his body would not have the same resistance to fire that Shouto’s does. In fact, perhaps it has none
Dabi has burn-like scars all over his body
Dabi’s quirk seems to be the most powerful out of all of the Todorokis
It seems that Dabi usually uses quick bursts of blue (AKA the hottest) fire rather than lighting his body on fire and using it that way (e.g. Shouto and Endeavor cover body parts in flames and sustain them for longer periods of time)
Perhaps this is because he can’t sustain fire on his body for too long without burning himself
In this scenerio, they probably think Touya died when in reality, he survived
If the family presumes Touya dead, it would explain why no one has connected the dots between Dabi and Touya
I think that in terms of this theory, it is most likely that Touya, who was deemed the weakest Todoroki, attempted to prove himself via using his quirk and it went out of control. That, or it was purely an accident. In either instance, his quirk was too powerful for his weak body.
Perhaps no one was around to help him
Perhaps only Natsuo (+ Fuyumi?) was around to help him and couldn’t do anything
Perhaps it was kept between Natsuo and Endeavor
Perhaps Endeavor didn’t care that it happened and basically left him for dead
Perhaps Endeavor did attempt to help him but failed
My issues with this theory are basically the same as my issues with Idea #1- Shouto doesn’t seem to pay much attention to the mention of Touya. It doesn’t look like Shouto holds Endeavor accountable for whatever happened, unlike his feelings towards his mother. If Touya was dead, would we get a bigger response from Shouto? Would Shouto blame Endeavor for it? Why wouldn’t he? Some possible explanations (mostly the same as Idea #1)…
It happened when Shouto was very young
Endeavor may have controlled the flow of information to Shouto and kept the detail hidden from him
He had no contact with his other siblings. Horikoshi made a point to let us all know this with the favorite food mention
It would affect his training process
Shouto already had the trauma of being scalded by his mother and then separated from her
Endeavor said something after the burn incident about Shouto’s youth being a vital time for his development
Perhaps Shouto’s only real concern is his mother
Perhaps he knew Touya so poorly due to age gap and separation, he doesn’t have enough knowledge to blame Endeavor
Perhaps the details were kept between Natsuo and Endeavor (repeat point from above haha)
Perhaps since it was an accident, no one is as fault
I still find it weird Shouto wouldn’t blame Endeavor for “not teaching them how to use their quirks” or “not even paying attention” BUT at the same time, Shouto never has mentioned much about the neglect faced by his other siblings.
Some other reason
This got very long, I hope it was understandable! I plan on posting more ideas in the future, since I have a handful more.

Hello all! If you see my artwork pop up on Amazon absolutely do not buy it! It is 100% stolen and I guarantee you it’s terribly made on top of being, well, -stolen- art. These theives are jacking my art (and several other hard working artists I know!) and coloring over the signature and slapping it up on Amazon. Dozens, possibly hundreds of people have bought from them already. Just know you are buying stolen goods :( If you see any please contact me. I’m honestly thinking about lawyering up or taking serious action as I have been fighting this Amazon theft for weeks (you report one store; several more pop up in its place like a hydra)

I just saw this on Reddit today and I wanted to share it here.
When you’re a parent, you have to realize that the child you brought into this world is going to be their own person and you’ll have to start getting into things you may not understand and have ZERO interest in.
However, you damn well better act like you are.
I can still remember the feeling as a kid getting Pokemon Red and it being something I loved so much, so I wanted to share that with my mom. I wanted to show her my team, tell her about the gym leaders I took down, and she just took a glance at the Game Boy color and went “mmhhhmm”.
She gave zero shits when I beat Banjo-Kazooie, a game which was INCREDIBLY hard for grade school me and you can make me have war flashbacks if you so much as say “Rusty Bucket Bay”.
My town in Animal Crossing? Catching rare fish? Who cares?
I liked a cartoon series so much that I wrote little stories about it? “No, I don’t want to read it.”
This type of stuff matters to kids so damn much and she’ll never realize how much it hurt our relationship. It might not seem like a big deal she never sat down and watched me play something like Luigi’s Mansion, but that’s how kids try and bond with their parents.
After constantly being shot down they’ll eventually stop talking to you entirely.
