àŒ˜â‹†ïœĄÂ  quiet  stillness.
for  warm  drinks,  kitchen  conversations,  &  warm  hugs.
you  didn't  have  to  bring  me  anything.
you  always  know  exactly  how  i  take  it.
it's  still  warm  -  take  mine.
you  can  stay  here,  as  long  as  you  need.
sit,  i  made  enough  for  both  of  us.
today  feels  like  a  quiet  kind  of  day.
let  me  pull  the  cookies  out  of  the  oven.
your  hands  are  freezing.
you  fell  asleep  on  the  couch  again.
i'll  be  here  when  you  wake  up.
you  can  tell  me,  or  we  can  just  sit  here.
i  have  no  idea  what's  in  this  but  it  tastes  good.
i  needed  this.
it's  chilly  out  there.  stay  a  little  longer.
i  didn't  make  any  plans  today.  just  this.
you  looked  like  you  needed  something  warm  to  hold.
there's  an  extra  blanket  on  the  couch.
i  didn't  have  the  heart  to  wake  you.
this  room  looks  beautiful  when  the  sun  comes  through  the  window.
i  already  put  the  kettle  on  for  you.

Okay so, you mentioned you were a lesbian a few times, how come you then hold such animosity towards female characters? What exactly caused a misogyny so great that you only ever obsess and worship men? Genuinely what's the backstory, abusive mother? And ex girlfriend? School bully?
why don't you read this again and take a moment to think about what the goal was here. are you aware that this is wildly inappropriate? the...shall we say "colorful" fabrication of whatever narrative you have going aside, would you speak this aggressively to a stranger on the street? would you ask a coworker or classmate (i assume you're very young) questions like this? what do you think entitles you to any personal information of a stranger whatsoever? what was the goal here? this kind of behavior isn't normal or acceptable. don't send people shit like this.

The Proposal
Universe: Genshin Impact Pairing: Alhaitham/Kaveri (well, not yet) Word count: 1150
His colleagues would never have been able to tell the difference, but for once, Alhaitham was actually looking forward to work. He had still arrived late, as usual, coffee in one hand and book in the other. Once settled in his office, he produced from his pocket a folded stack of paper, and exchanged his book for this other reading material. By now the paper was wearing slightly thin on the creases from the number of times it had been unfolded and folded again. It was a proposal, and the reason for Alhaitham’s unusually positive attitude towards this particular afternoon - he had an appointment with the author.
At exactly twelve o’clock, there was a light knock on his office door. He tucked the paper away in his desk drawer and grunted, “Come in.”
The individual who entered, taking great pains to close the door as quietly as possible behind them, was a Forest Watcher, athletic in build and clad in soft greens and browns. Even their hair and their eyes were brown and green respectively. They were handsome in a boyish way, appearing younger than their record had indicated. As they stood in front of his desk, offering their hand to shake, they seemed a little nervous. “Good afternoon. I’m Kaveri. Thank you for agreeing to meet with me.”
“Good afternoon,” he replied succinctly, ignoring their proffered hand in favor of folding his arms across his chest and leaning back in his chair. “As I’m sure you can imagine, my schedule is full of meetings. Remind me, what was your business today?”
A flicker of disappointment passed over their features, but they retained their pleasant smile. “Of course. I sent in a proposal some time ago in regards to a class I would like to teach. The subject is natural history, so I wanted to hold the class within the Avidya Forest Preserve for active interpretation. As I’m sure you’re aware, bringing a group of this kind into the preserve requires authorization from both the Forest Rangers and the Akademiya. You also know that I already have my supervisor Tighnari’s signature on my permit; I only need yours to move forward.”
They spoke a little too fast, evidencing their nervousness. Alhaitham’s expression was as aloof as ever. “And why should I grant you that?”
Another masked flicker of dismay. “Did
did you read my proposal?”
“I’ve seen it,” he replied noncommittally. “Again, you can imagine how many proposals I have to read in a day.”
“Of course,” they said again, nodding in polite understanding. “Please allow me to summarize my main points.”
Pausing, they waited for his nod of approval before launching into their pitch. “I believe in active, hands-on learning to supplement traditional text-focused education. That applies especially to education on the subject of natural history.  This approach offers so many benefits - physical, emotional, intellectual - particularly for children but for adults as well. I’m sure that an Akademiya scholar such as yourself would be interested in recent studies that show significant improvement in academic performance as well as critical thinking, memory, and attention span in people of all ages when offered regular exposure to the natural world, especially when this exposure involves physical interaction. Of course, all these studies are cited in my paper.”
As they continued, their nervousness began to fade, replaced by a glow about their features and a spark in their eyes. They even leaned forward a little in their excitement for the subject.
“The benefits are mutual. Of equal importance, conservation efforts increase when people better understand the natural world around them. And conservation builds stronger communities
”
Though his own expression never changed, Alhaitham found himself just as captivated as he had been by their paper. Here was the same passion for both nature and knowledge, and desire to share that passion, that their proposal had held. This was what he had hoped to see when he had anticipated this meeting. He could feel his heart beating faster as he observed Kaveri’s brief metamorphosis. All too soon, however, they finished their spiel. “Put simply, sir, the endeavor I propose is worthwhile because it’s good for people. People’s lives improve when they spend time in nature. Those who choose to preserve it then ensure that this gift will be available for subsequent generations. That’s why I want so badly to teach this class - as my way of serving and helping the community and the natural world.”
With that, their nervousness returned in the form of fidgeting with their bracelets as they stood waiting for his response. Alhaitham was almost disappointed to see them revert to a shrinking violetgrass. “I will consider this,” he said at length. “Of course, it will take some time.”
This time their disappointment was clear despite their words indicating otherwise. “O-
Of course,” they echoed. “Can
can you estimate how long
?”
“Impossible to say. I’m a very busy man.” Now he laid his bait, a simple, “Come back later.”
He picked up his book and pretended to read. Kaveri stood in slight shock for just a moment before responding. “Oh
um, alright
thank you for your time.”
They left, again taking care to close the door quietly. Alhaitham put his book down and took out their proposal and the permit that had also been in his desk. He had signed it as soon as he’d seen Tighnari’s authorization and almost left it at that. Now he thanked the stars he’d happened to skim the accompanying paper. If he hadn’t, he would have simply fobbed the permit off on Tighnari at their next cards night and never given another thought to Kaveri or their class. Not only had he given himself the opportunity to meet them, he could now keep them coming back for as long as he chose, to continue listening to them speak on their subject of expertise and to dissect their brilliant mind at his leisure. He was willing to wager that a drive like the one they clearly possessed would come with a degree of tenacity to pursue their goal. It would be an interesting experiment: how long would they wait to return? How many times before they grew frustrated? What was the limit of that dedication?
How much time did he have to get to know them better?
With these questions in mind, Alhaitham returned the proposal to his pocket and the permit to his desk. He picked up his book and left his office. As far as he was concerned, his work for the day was done.
—
The next time Alhaitham deigned to return to his office, he found among the pile of notes on his desk a single message that caught his attention: “Forest Ranger Kaveri requested follow-up meeting re: outdoor education proposal”.
His heart quickened its pace for a beat or two. Grabbing a pen, he quickly wrote on the back, ‘Tomorrow, noon.’ The other notes went in the trash.

Genshin SI bios
Atoyac
One of the Scions of the Canopy, they're a guide by occupation - along with their Saurian companion, a Yumkasaur named Kelesio, they help people safely traverse the Coatepec Mountain. They spend all their free time exploring and bonding with the local wildlife. Their passion for understanding nature and ability to put that knowledge to use in a pinch earned them their Dendro Vision. When by chance they encounter another wildlife enthusiast, Ororon, the two click very quickly.
Arroux (Roux for short)
An artist from Fontaine who uses their Hydro Vision to create watercolor paintings as well as other art highlighting various social injustices. They are extremely well-versed in Fontaine law and a very public critic of its many flaws - after all, you have to know the law to be able to work around it without getting in trouble. Local authorities have received many a complaint about Arroux's installations, but always find everything in perfect legal order. Surprisingly, this is not how they ended up meeting Wriothesley; the two got to know each other by coincidentally frequenting the same cafe.
Kaveri
While their love of nature makes them well suited to their job as a Forest Watcher and teacher of Natural History, their frustration over red tape has led them to constantly getting knuckle-rapped for not following Akademiya structure. This eventually found them in the office of the Scribe, Alhaitham.  Unbeknownst to them, he was amused and intrigued by their ideas and devised a tangle of red tape denser than the jungle itself in order to keep them coming back to his office. Eventually he let them off the hook and asked them on a proper date.
Rhein
Born and raised in Mondstadt, their dedication to the study of magic earned them an apprenticeship with Lisa. Now that they’ve completed their studies, they’ve made a decent living for themself as an apothecary, always experimenting with new concoctions to solve various problems and traveling far and wide to find rare ingredients. One of those travels brought them to Inazuma, where a chance meeting at a marketplace reunited them with their long-lost childhood sweetheart, Thoma.

Could you give some basic info on your Genshin ships for the uninitiated?
thank you so so much for asking, anon! you made my day ;w; <3 tbh i've. never actually talked about them. at all. none of them are very well fleshed-out, and i'm still working on their designs so i don't have any art yet, but i can certainly share what i DO have!!
Ororon and Atoyac
Once while Atoyac was rock climbing, a monster attacked them and cut their line, causing them to have a nasty fall. Their Yumkasaur companion, Kelesio, chased off the attacker and went for help. That came in the form of Ororon. He helped Kelesio get Atoyac back to their village and returned to visit often while they healed. The two both have a similar quiet, good-humored manner, and quickly bonded over a shared love of nature. Much of the time they spend together is in silence as they enjoy a walk, a hike, or tending Ororon’s garden. The couple also enjoys watching movies (especially crime dramas), cooking, and volunteering at Ifa’s clinic.
Wriothesley and Arroux
One chilly morning Wriothesley noticed a new face in his favorite cafe. This stranger kept glancing his way and furtively scribbling in a little book. Thinking they might be gathering intel on him for some criminal organization, he confronted them
only to realize they were an artist who was sketching his portrait, trying to be subtle because they were too shy to ask permission. As an apology, Wriothesley bought them a cup of tea, and ended up chatting with them for hours and hours. After that, sharing morning tea became a fairly regular routine
and then afternoon tea, and evening tea as well. The two make a bit of an odd couple, seeming very different from each other, but they balance each other out. Arroux loves introducing Wriothesley to new things - in particular, they like giving him the opportunity to develop hobbies, and frequently make daytrips to new places to explore together.
Alhaitham and Kaveri
Alhaitham had signed the permit, one of countless that crossed his desk every day, as soon as he’d seen Tighnari’s authorization. and almost left it at that. But he happened to skim the accompanying paper. So instead of fobbing the permit off on Tighnari, he kept it in his desk and requested a meeting with the author. Kaveri was exactly what he’d hoped for from their writing: intelligent, passionate, and tenacious. To keep them coming back, the Scribe wove a web of red tape and watched with amusement as they stubbornly conquered every obstacle he laid for them. Eventually only one condition remained: “Have dinner with me.” During all their long debates and Kaveri’s dogged sit-ins at his office, even Kaveri had to admit they had come to understand and admire Alhaitham, and so they agreed. Now they freely offer him a greater variety of much more interesting distractions - museum visits, outdoor excursions, and lots of time spent reading to each other.
Thoma and Rhein
When Rhein earned an apprenticeship with the famed witch Lisa, none was more proud of them than Thoma. The two had grown up together, childhood sweethearts. It felt natural as their relationship turned romantic in their teens. But then Thoma vanished, presumed lost at sea. Rhein was never the same. They finished their apprenticeship and began to travel in search of rare ingredients to make new potions, hoping to find happiness along the way. Eventually their travels brought them to Inazuma, where they did indeed rediscover their happiness upon being reunited with Thoma. Rhein promptly set up their own apothecary shop in Inazuma City where they can visit Thoma every day. The teahouse is the pair’s most frequent haunt, but Thoma also likes accompanying Rhein on mini-adventures to obtain ingredients, stepping in to bargain for them when they’re struggling with a stubborn seller. Both love cooking together, experimenting with new combinations just as Rhein does with their potions.
thank you again for asking, anon! <3 i'm so happy to hear you're interested in my other

Would Rosario get any tattoos?
i'm not sure to be honest đŸ€” on one hand, they're no stranger to pain and wouldn't shy away for that reason, and in a modern setting they'd definitely be the type who'd have beautiful artwork of plants and animals as sleeve tattoos, BUT. they're so extremely precise about the depiction of their favorite flora and fauna that they might hesitate to have anything that permanent, knowing any tiny error would drive them nuts. i'm genuinely on the fence here asdlfjasldf
if they were able to find and afford a worthy artist, then absolutely, but you'd never catch them with anything but the highest-quality art, and most likely only on their arms.
