i will forever appreciate how invested caleb is in lucas’ character. he’s always the most prepared (or honestly the only one prepared) for interview questions about his character’s future, favorite song, etc. it’s just so nice seeing him so enthusiastic, and he’s also the only one i really see bringing up the fact that he makes playlists to get into character. like, you can tell how much caleb loves lucas, and values playing him.

— Michelle (Shelley for short) got her first period while she was in the hospital with possessed Willow.

The first night Willow was there, Shelley had felt funny, but didn’t tell anyone because she didn’t want people to worry about her (specifically, she wanted Willow to get treated first) and that morning, waking up in the chair beside Willow’s bed, there was a very distinct red spot in her jeans.

She hobbled around with it all day (again, because she wanted Willow treated first while silently thinking she was dying because she didn’t know what a period was), till Joyce finally saw the stain and pulled Shelley aside.

Joyce explained periods, let Shelley cry into her for a bit, showed her how to use a pad and gave her a new pair of jeans.

Later that night, Shelley slept in the chair next to Willow’s bed again.

But before they fell asleep, Willow had asked Shelley if she was okay. Shelley talked about her period like it was horror, and Willow listened, because she knew Shelley was offering her a distraction from her pain, and even if it wasn’t working very well, Willow felt soothed by Shelley’s soft “Willow Voice”.

— after the possession dilemma,, Willow didn’t like having long hair anymore — because of how heavy it was. So Shelley cut it for her, into a nice bob.

In return, Shelley gave Willow permission to cut her hair. Willow cut it a bit too short, but to this day, Shelley still says that was her favorite haircut AND still keeps her hair short.

— The height difference — specifically in 1984 — was crazy. While Shelley was about 5’5, Willow was around 5’0. Despite that fact, Shelley could hardly lift Willow — she wasn’t exactly light.

In my interpretation of Lesbyler, Willow is slightly chubby and Shelley is like super lanky and slightly twiggy.

— Willow is a very early bloomer — got her first period at ten-years old, got boobs at eleven — poor girl. She got her wisdom teeth out at 16, and obviously Shelley took care of her.

At some point, Shelley was jealous, especially when they were eleven. Till she got boobs just a year later and she turned out to be a bit busty (not very fun).

— Shelley has some insecurity surrounding her body — lanky with a bust and bony hips, a birthmark, too — but Willow thinks Shelley is the prettiest girl she’s ever seen.

— Willow - from a young age - has been a bit more boyish than Shelley. Wearing her older brother’s hand me downs, her dad making her play baseball because “if she can’t be a girl, she might as well be a boy”, etc., but as she aged, Willow liked wearing dresses and putting on makeup.

— Shelley, on the other hand, was sort of forced into femininity. She wore dresses when she was young — with the only colors she could wear was like pastels. Then, as she grew and chose her own clothes, she became quite androgynous.

Whenever someone says that Mike is the type of person to be terrified of a bug and Will to not be I throw season 2 at their forehead. Will wanted Dart out of his hands as fast as possible and Mike was just like "I am holding him now. Gonna continue to hold him. He's putting his slime everywhere but I am fine"
