Hi! I was wanting a bitty matchup whenever you have the time! I go by Q, I'm awkward and quiet and would prefer a bitty who's quiet, a home-body like myself, and enjoys movie nights and snacks. I like to write, draw, and do anything creative really. I also like making miniature stuff so I'd love to get creative with gifts! I love playing video games and gardening also! Although I also own a cat, he's a scaredy-cat tho and will avoid the bitty lmao.
Thanks in advance!
My recommendations are Gild (UT!Sans), Goliath (US!Papyrus), and Skull (SF!Papyrus)!
Gild : Gilds are quite calm and quiet bitties, preferring to hang out at home with their adopter. Movie nights sound perfect for these bitties. As long as he can hang around and watch, this bitty wouldn’t mind what hobbies you choose to do, but watching movies or watching you play games would very quickly become one of this bitty’s favorite pastimes. Despite seeming lazy, though, Gilds are always interested in learning new things, so he might end up being very interested in your gardening and crafts.
Goliath : Goliaths are the definition of homebodies. They’re also fond of creative adopters, even more so those that enjoy writing! He would love to see your writing process and read your works. He may even try to write something for you himself. These bitties would also be exceptionally enthusiastic about movie night, especially if you agree to watch movies that are so bad that they’re good every once in a while.
Skull : Skulls absolutely adore having creative adopters! Not only would he be very excited to see what you create each time, but he’d also love to try his hand at it, too. These guys are especially drawn to artsy and crafty projects, so he’d enjoy watching you make miniature stuff. He may even want to learn how to do it himself, so he can help out. Skulls are also very interested in video games and would enjoy watching you play, or even playing himself.

Hi, I was interested in being matched with some bitty options. I'm a very hardworking person (not really by choice), and am a bit of a homebody when I'm off. I like to read, play games, and watch comedy shows. However, and this is probably the biggest stumbling block, I do not like being touched at all due to some past trauma. Physical affection is just not my thing, and never will be. So like, someone who will sit on the couch with me, but who will be okay respecting my space. Do you think any of your types would work?
My recommendations are Jumper (US!Sans), Goliath (US!Papyrus), and Widow (UF!Papyrus)! While I think a few other types could work as well, these three are the ones who would have no problems avoiding physical contact from the start.
Jumper : Jumpers care a lot about their adopter’s wellbeing, and are very adaptable bitties. As long as you’re willing to offer praise or verbal affection, a Jumper won’t mind the lack of physical affection and will make sure to respect your personal space. These guys also really enjoy watching others play games and would be more than happy to just spend time with you.
Goliath : Goliath bitties are very relaxed and low maintenance bitties. A Goliath would have no problems with avoiding physical touch, as long as he gets to hang out in the same room as you, even if he’s not actively participating in your hobbies. These bitties are quite fond of humor though, and watching comedy shows together will quickly become his favorite way to spend his time.
Widow : Widows in general aren’t very fond of physical affection. While they don’t outright hate it, they definitely don't need it to be happy. While he may come off as cold at first, a Widow would never do anything to break their adopter’s trust or genuinely upset them. Widows have a huge amount of respect for their adopters and enjoy being included in daily activities or hobbies. He’d be especially fond of reading with you if given the chance.

Hello hello! I've been wanting to adopt one or two of your spider bitties for a while now, but I've been a bit unsure on which would fit me best. I'm more of a listener than a talker, and am the 'therapist friend', but I do have my moments when I like to ramble. I'm definitely a more private person, taking years, if at all, to even remotely open up to anyone. I am also a really big fan of psychology, and the surrounding studies. I've got a bit of a darker humor, as well. I'm constantly creating, whether that's through drawing, writing, or generally crafting. I really enjoy reading as well. My sleep schedule is complete trash, and I'm the opitomy of nocturnal, which normally leads to being constantly exhausted. I would like two bitties at the most, thank you! (apologies for the huge paragraph aaa)
There’s no need to apologies! The more information you send, the easier it is for me to recommend bitties. My recommendations are Goliath (US!Papyrus), Lycos (HT!Sans), and Recluse (SF!Sans)! In case you wanted to adopt 2 of these guys, I made sure the ones I picked would get along fairly well.
Goliath : It tends to take a bit of time for a Goliath to truly open up to his adopter, so he’d understand your need for privacy. Goliaths also get along very well with creative adopters and are especially fond of creative writing. He may even want to try writing something himself! These bitties tend to have very bad sleep schedules, so staying up all night won’t bother him much. A small family with only a couple bitties sounds perfect for a Goliath.
Lycos : Lycos bitties find it difficult to trust their adopter at first, but seeing that you’re a private person yourself may actually encourage him to open up sooner. These guys are rather quiet bitties, making them great listeners, and they greatly enjoy dark humor. A Lycos won’t really care what his adopter is doing, as long as he can hang around and watch them, regardless of the time of day. Lycos bitties tend to be rather nocturnal anyways, so he’d actually enjoy you’re sleep schedule.
Recluse : Recluses are not big fans of other bitties, so a small family with only one other bitty is perfect for one of these guys. It’s very easy to get him invested into any social sciences, so he’d love to learn about psych and to hear you talk about it. Giving him things to learn about is the easiest way to keep a recluse from acting too bratty. These bitties also have a lot of respect for crafty adopters and may even want to get involved himself, especially if the craft requires some form of measuring/math. He definitely isn’t a fan of your sleep schedule, though, and will try to encourage you to fix it for the sake of your health.

Gild (UT!Sans)
Spider type: Yellow garden spider
Size: 3 to 6 inches tall
Venom: Yes. It has similar affects as a bee sting. It’ll cause some soreness and swelling, but will heal quickly.
Personality: Gilds are generally laid back and low maintenance bitties. A Gild will spend most of the day sunbathing on a sloppily made web and telling jokes related to whatever his owner is doing at the time. They are very easy to care for and pride themselves on their ability to cheer people up. Overall, they are goofy and playful bitties who will never say no to an impromptu nap.
Diet: They are much too lazy to build a web capable of catching their own food or to hunt, so they will need to be fed by their adopter.
Compatibility: Gilds do their best to be friendly with any bitties they share a household with. If any bitty is repeatedly rude to them, they may torment them with pranks and blunt comments. Very non-confrontational and would rather leave the room than cause a fight or argument. They do tend to get tired very quickly if forced to interact with many people and will need time alone to relax.

Spider Bittybones Masterlist
All spider bitties are free to adopt! If you want to adopt a bitty, just go ahead! There’s no need to ask permission. However, feel free to send in an ask if you have questions about the bitties, want to know how they’d react to something, or if you’d like a matchup.
Basic care:
While spider bitties enjoy spending most of the day with their adopters, they do need their own private area as well. They don’t need a lot of space, but it needs to be an area that they can personalize and web up. Make sure to respect their privacy, or they may become distrustful!
Spider bitties are carnivorous. They’ll enjoy eating some of their adopter’s food as a treat, but they need meat to be healthy. Luckily, they only need to be fed every 2 or 3 days, and they don’t need large portions either.
Like regular spiders, spider bitties will molt sometimes. They only molt about 2 times a year, but the process leaves them weak and vulnerable. It take a couple days for their magic to fully harden again, so they tend to isolate themselves during this time.
Spider bitties do not need to be bathed most of the time and will not become dirty or stinky normally. The only time they’d need a bath is if they got into something sticky or messy. As they dislike water, its best to offer them a shallow bowl and a small towel so they can safely clean themselves. Soaking in a shallow bowl of water can also help if your bitty is having trouble molting.
Available bitties (WIP):
Gild (UT!Sans) | Peacock (UT!Papyrus) | Jumper (US!Sans) | Goliath (US!Papyrus) | Crab (UF!Sans) | Widow (UF!Papyrus) | Lycos (HT!Sans) | Marble (HT!Papyrus) | Cobalt (OT!Sans) | Chrysilla (OT!Papyrus) | Recluse (SF!Sans) | Skull (SF!Papyrus)

If i may ask, are there certain days you write bitty matchups or? I was looking to see if matchups were open but couldn't find anything! 😩
Apologies for the confusion! Bitty matchups (and bitty asks in general) are always open! Unfortunately, I’m a university student and this also isn’t my only blog so I don’t have specific days when I post. I know this blog is in disarray at the moment, but I’m working on updating bios and putting together a bitty masterlist to hopefully make things easier to find and navigate :)

Aaaa this is so cute!! I hope you enjoy your new bitties! ^^
Hi! I want to adopt a bitty, but im not really sure which i want (theyre all so cute sobs 🥺😭😍) Im an adult who loves to make art, it has even helped with my anxiety and several shutdowns. Im not the best cook but i love to learn how to cook, including different subjects as well (even from video games lol).
My recommendations are Jumper (US!Sans), Lycos (HT!Sans), and Skull (SF!Papyrus)!
Jumper : Jumpers are very energetic and caring bitties. They care a lot about their owner’s wellbeing and would do their best to help you when you’re feeling anxious. These bitties love learning new skills and would be very excited to learn how to cook alongside you!
Lycos : Lycos bitties are quiet and reliable companions. They don’t really mind what their adopter does, as long as they can hang around nearby. However, cooking is a surefire way to get them excited! A Lycos would love to watch you cook and is more than willing to taste test anything you make.
Skull : Skulls get attached to their adopters quickly, and love to participate in their hobbies. They enjoy quiet environments and would be eager to try and make art alongside you. Skulls also tend to have anxiety themselves, so they know what it feels like and would have an idea of how to help.

Any Nicknames would they prefer for the spider Bitties? (Because it might be confusing if my friend has another marble or skull)??
"Marble" and "Skull" are more similar to a species title than a name. When you adopt a bitty, you get to give them a new name, either chosen by you or by the bitties themselves, so there shouldn't have any confusion if someone else also has the same bitty type. As for preferences, the papyrus types tend to enjoy being given strong or adventurous sounding names, but in general they'd be fine with whatever their adopter chooses! Being given a name gives them a sense of belonging and they tend to view it as a gift.

I was wondering if Skull and Marble would get along? I was deciding to get them two/adopt them too.
(And Maybe Ut!Sans one later on)
I was just seeing their how they’d feel if I’d put them in the same household ?
A Skull and a Marble would actually get along great! Both are quite shy and quiet at first and would understand eachother's need for peace and privacy, while also being able to socialise with eachother. A Gild would also fit in well with those two, given their rather laid back personalities. As long as introductions are done slowly and gently, you won't have any problems with these 3.

How do you get your own bitty?? - just wondering!
All you need to do to adopt a spider bitty is to pick one! They're completely free to adopt and you don't need to ask for permission. Of course, if you're not sure who to go with, you can send in a description of yourself and I can recommend some bitties!

does the san-spooder bitties throw puns and jokes at their owners?
Yes all the sans bitties are very fond of making puns about anything and everything. That doesn’t mean the papyrus types don’t like to joke around, though. They just tend to be a bit more subtle than the sanses.

Hello there! If you still do the adoption thingy, would it be possible to get some of your lovely boys? I fell in love with your Lycos, Marble and Skull and was wondering if these three would get along if they were adopted together?
A Lycos, Marble and Skull would get along quite well together! Both Lycos and Skull bitties may come across as quiet or timid, so adopting them with other calm bitties is a good idea. Marbles are also quite sociable, without being too energetic, once they settle in, and would never say no to having other bitties around.

Question: What happens if you (accidentally) sprayed bug spray on your spider bitty? Thanks!
Since spider bitties are magic based rather than being actual bugs, the bug spray won’t hurt them! They’ll definitely be a bit disgruntled from the chemical smell and the fact that they’re now wet, but an apology and a short bath is enough to cheer them up again.

what are morning schedules like for your bitties? which are the early risers and which sleep in? On another note- what are nightimes likes aswell? Who stays up super late and who has a set bedtime they prefer?
Gild (UT!Sans): Sleep schedule? What's that? Gilds tend to shape their sleep around their adopter's schedule but they also stay up at odd hours. It's not uncommon to find them snoozing while you're busy or waking up in the middle of the night to stargaze.
Peacock (UT!Papyrus): These bitties usually need a very small amount of sleep. Just a five hour nap can keep them energized the whole day so they stay up late and wake up early. They'll try and help out around the house while their adopter sleeps.
Jumper (US!Sans): Jumpers love having a set sleep schedule, but they have a bit of difficulty keeping to it. They'll want to go to sleep at the same time as their adopter and then wake up early to start the day right, but they'll have a hard time actually getting up.
Goliath (US!Papyrus): Do Goliaths even sleep? Who knows. These guys tend to have a disaster of a sleep schedule if their adopter doesn't set a routine. They lose track of time very easily if left to their own devices, meaning they might just stay up the whole night without noticing.
Crab (UF!Sans): If he's tired, he'll nap and that's probably the best you'll get out of him. Crabs don't like being tied down by a schedule, but offering cuddles is a good way to bribe them into actually getting a good night's rest.
Widow (UF!Papyrus): Widows love having a routine. They'll want to be able to fall asleep and then wake up at the same times each day. Preferably going to bed early and waking up early as well. Perhaps too early for most people.
Recluse (SF!Sans): These bitties have a hard time falling asleep and waking up. Having his adopter set a strict schedule will help a Recluse actually get some rest, because they definitely won't sleep if they're not forced to.
Skull (SF!Papyrus): Skulls are generally good at sleeping at the same time as their adopter. They do tend to be night owls though, so sometimes they might stay up late and then regret it in the morning.
Lycos (HT!Sans): These guys tend to be pretty sleepy boys. They either go to bed early and wake up at noon, or periodically nap throughout the day. They'll do their best to be awake when they know their adopter has free time to spend time with them.
Marble (HT!Papyrus): Marbles enjoy keeping a consistent sleep schedule and will encourage their adopter to do so as well. They tend to sleep at the same time as their adopter, but wake up an hour or two earlier.
Cobalt (OT!Sans): These bitties are huge night owls in the worst way possible. They'll stay up late and encourage their adopter to stay up too, but when morning comes, they'll be dead to the world until noon, at least.
Chrysilla (OT!Papyrus): Chrysilla tend to be night owls, but they don't need too much sleep in the first place so it doesn't affect them too much. They'll go to bed late and still manage to wake up at a decent time in the morning, fully energized.
