Something you need to know about me is that I don't like Boichi's Ace's story manga and the only things keeping it at a 2 or 3/10 instead of a 1/10 is a handful of passable Aces, nice scenes and cute Deuce art

Will I ever do a redo of the manga actually adapting the novel? Idk, but the anger and spite have pushed me to sketch an idea at least for today so there's that

After Ichiji awakens Roger, the vampire decides he wants to bond with his son (and son's friends and family) and reconnect with old friends, so roadtrip time with ASL and the Vinsmokes (and maybe Zoro and Law).

They're camping one night when Yonji is attacked by a werewolf (Akainu), he's fortunately saved by Roger and Ace (and maybe Zoro if he's there too). Meaning, he becomes a werewolf too.

This just makes whatever complex Sanji has going on worse. (He'll forever suffer at the fact people seem to find so many similarities between Zoro and Yonji, "f off Freud, this has nothing to do with you and your bs", Yonji is safe since Sanji and Sabo have such different vibes).

The Vinsmokes are Austrian (Zeff is French) and they're taken to Mexico by Zeff, they open a seaside restaurant (in the tourist area of the aquarium)

Despite the deep hatred and ongoing war, love blooms between the emo Law and the punk Luffy (they met at the legendary confrontation between the emos and the punks in the capital city)

My darling Jarocho Luffy has been steadily growing into an mexican urban fantasy au

Like, it's tailor made for the two of us (and maybe the friend that got us into one piece)

With Dadan being irish-mexican, specifically, a descendant of one of the people from the small Irish-made division that deserted the usa army after learning what they actually were trying to do when they invaded Mexico (pretty sure it was the second time) back in like 1846

Dadan has a poster of Chayanne next to her little figurine of the virgin Guadalupe (the singer Chayanne is so popular with latinamerican mothers that it's become a meme)

Law (German) and Rosinante (Spaniard) run to Mexico after escaping Doflamingo

Rouge was Portuguese but escaped to Brazil, where Ace was born, Roger was mexican and Garp (also mexican) took the boy back there

Sabo is Argentinian (whose stereotypical looks are white and blonde, lmao)

Luffy is mexican-italian, cu crocodile is Italian and has Olmec blood from his grandma (Dragon's mom), he's also the vessel to the Olmec sun god Nika (cuz self-indulgence)

remember how Luffy was kidnapped by a cult when he was a child and that's how he ended up becoming Nika's vessel?

Rosinante works in a special force that deals with cults/sects and the like, that's actually how he ended up becoming Law's guardian, he met the kid when he was doing undercover in his brother's cult and ended up rescuing the kid and adopting him basically (also Beppo is a saint bernard x pirineo mix that they took in after the dog failed the special forces exam), Law grew up to become a doctor that specializes in treating ex-cult members/victims

Rosinante disappears while investigating a sister cult to the one that kidnapped Luffy when he was a kid, so ofc Law is gonna try to find his dad, and so he contacts Luffy to see if he might have some information that could be useful, so Luffy (who ofc drags his brothers and the Vinsmokes) ends up helping Law

The forces of evil:

There are four main branches, Heart, Spades, Clovers and Diamonds.

They create monsters and dark magical girls with the fake devil fruits created by Ceasar.

Rosinante as head of Hearts (with a circus theme, Buggy and the Charlottes belong to this branch), he's also, obv, a double agent.

Doflamingo is head of diamonds.

Mihawk used to belong to the spades.

Moria is head of clovers.

Rosinante, Buggy and Law live together.

The transformations:

Their jolly roger charms, which hang from their (flip) phones, are used for transformation.,

They all have to do this. They call 66, the charms falls as they pull their phones to their ears, saying "Calling! G! Double 6!"

The skull detaches from the base.

Ichiji - drags each diamond to where the clothes and accessories are, setting them like time bombs until they're all in their places and detonate together into light.

Niji - touches each lighting and as she does so they run through her like electric current and transform (individually).

Sanji - grabs the spiral's edge and drags it like a string around herself, slowly turning invisible, until she finishes and the spiral goes back to its original shape, turning invisible at the same time Stealth Black turns visible.

Yonji - turns the screw as it grows in size until it's so big it barely fits in her arms, she throws it above her and when it falls, she passes through the hole.

Sora - the halos "thorns" go out flying to her, landing and wrapping in light everywhere that changes, finally transforming when she puts the halo on her head.

Reiju and Zeff are artificial magical boys so they don't have charms, however, they have other means.

Reiju takes out a vial with a pink-purple liquid and drinks it to transform into Poison Pink.

Zeff eats a white pill to become Blinding White.

And the villains only need to take a bite of their fake devil fruits.

Sora and Zeff are siblings from a magical kingdom, the kingdom is threatened by darkness (you know who it is) and Sora has to do magical girl work because of course she is the chosen one. The kingdom is attacked and their parents send them to this world to be safe (Zeff protects Sora and Sora does classic magical girl job). Classic magic girl plot of the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. Sora meets Judge and also classic magical girl romance of "loves my alter ego".

Time passes, Sora's identity is revealed, they graduate and get married, Judge opens his own lab (he's a scientist), Zeff continues with the family restaurant they had opened as a cover for their identities; the fight against the dark forces continues. Suddenly: SURPRISE, Judge yada yada, bad and only loved Sora out of scientific curiosity about magic and experimentation and never really loved her, boom Sora's powers lose strength at a critical moment in the fight against the forces of evil (by this point Reiju and the quadruplets are born) and the forces of evil are trying to get to earth, as a final attempt to stop them, Sora uses what strength she has left and becomes a seal that keeps them at bay. Zeff keeps the kids and raises them without mentioning the magical world. Years later, one of Judge's experiments attacks the city and spontaneously activates the girls' magical girl powers. Turns out that Judge managed to make contact with the dark forces and now works for them in exchange for knowledge.

Only girls inherit magical abilities, boys, like Zeff and Reiju use magical/scientific devices to transform themselves.

The magic kingdom is All Blue, Sora's princess title is "Princess of the Sea", and her magical girl title is "Shielding Gold"

Zeff's magical boy title is Blinding White"

Buggy was a good magical girl but because of Shanks she turned into a dark one.

Mihawk was originally a dark magical girl but because of Shanks she became a good one.

Judge is kind of looking for his daughters to take them away from him.

Some more world lore:

The devil fruits do exist, they're rare treasures from the world/dimension Sora belongs to and are used to make magical girls, they were supposed to be sealed away by Sora in the other realm along with the forces of evil, but they start to appear on earth (along with the forces of evil).

Sora, as the princess of the All Blue, didn't actually need the fruits to make magical girls, as she could briefly share her powers with others (tho it is detrimental to her health), however, this is still rather limited, which is part of the reason Shanks had to stop being a magical girl while Buggy, who had eaten a devil fruit, kept her powers.

Devil fruits also have a timer or technical limit, like the villains, in order to transform they need to take a bite of the fruit, until the fruit is completely consumed and is reborn somewhere else, meaning that Sabo can get to use the mera mera no mi without Ace having to die. And like in canon, the fruits can only have an user at a time and cannot be consumed by someone else while they haven't been finished by the current user (literally, nothing bad will happen but the bitten part will regrow) Which also explains Buggy's temporal absence, as she had finished her fruit and needed to look for it.
