“distraction?” isaiah echoes with curiosity, but mostly with growing concern. he’s always been protective of the people he cares about, especially his bestfriend vince. was there something vince was struggling with? did isaiah miss the signs? he leans closer. “vince, you can tell me anything. or if you don’t want to share right now, that’s okay.” isaiah tries to shove down his own feelings. “i’m always here for you. no matter what.”
“Thanks, Isaiah,” Vince gave him a half-smile. He’d never known someone so kind and supportive, it was one of the things that made Vince fall for him in the first place. “Well, let’s just say I’m trying to get over someone, but it’s weird because we never even dated, so...” Vince shrugged, suddenly feeling the urge to back out of the conversation. He pushed through anyway, there really was no point in trying to ignore his feelings.
“I don’t think he even knows how I feel.”

sam forgets how to breathe. he doesn’t know what’s more bewildering: that ari’s in love with him, or that ari believes he’s not sam’s type. his chest aches while seeing that smile. “ari.” he breathes deeply. “i don’t have a type. because there’s no one like you.” sam dares to reach out for ari’s hand. “it’s always been you. i just- i didn’t want to fuck things up between us.”
Ari’s eyes were fixed on the ground, his cheeks burning with embarrassment. He almost wished he could stuff the words back into his mouth and swallow them. Boldness wasn’t something he was used to.
Feeling Sam’s hand on his, his eyes snapped up to his friend. “You... Do you mean that?” He looked back that their joined hands and felt his heart leap to his throat. “I mean, you’re not just messing with me, right?” Ari had imagined every single possible outcome to this moment, though he didn’t let himself dwell on the scenarios where Sam returned his feelings. He had accepted it as possible, but not likely. He told himself that it would be easier to prepare himself for the worst case scenario, but now that it seemed to be going better than he expected, he didn’t know what to do.

“Y’know, if you need a wedding date that badly I could always go with you and pretend to be your boyfriend. We could come up with a meet-cute and everything!” Matthew smiled. “You ex will be there too, right? Why don’t we pretend to be super in love to make him jealous? Hell, why not propose to me at the reception?” It probably wasn’t the best idea, offering to be the fake boyfriend of the person you were secretly in love with - but, hey - this could be the closest he ever gets.

Steve was so distracted by the kiss he didn’t really notice he was being pulled in any direction, but obeyed when it happened and more than happy to just let Vince decide how this went down. So long as those kisses kept coming, so long as he got to feel him like that again and again. “More than okay” He whispered between deep kisses, breath shaken and lips now wet as he looked at the man with heated breath. “Just tell me how you want me Vince, anything for you. Whatever you want” He promised, leaning down to kiss his neck and gently unbutton the man’s shirt so he could kiss his chest as well and just worship him from head to toe if he got the chance to. Anything for Vince.
“I-” Vince started, but the words were soon caught in his throat as he felt Steve kissing down his neck and chest, moaning at the sensation. God, Steve wanted him, and that alone was enough to make his jeans feel suddenly too tight. “Steve, just fuck me, please.” Admittedly, he wanted to do more than that, but they had all the time in the world, and he needed this now. He clawed at Steve’s shirt, bunching it up in his fists and pulling it over the man’s head. This was already better than he could have imagined - which he did, frequently - but he needed more. He hooked his thighs around Steve’s bringing their hips flush together and rolled his hips up, grinding into him.

Hook, line and sinker. At least that’s what Oscar thought when he saw the man walking over from the corner of his eye and the smirk on the young man’s face didn’t falter whatsoever. Taking another silent sip of his drink, brow raised at the other’s rather bold and casual words. Perhaps he wasn’t as shy as he’d assumed or the guy had a good poker face. Well, there were ways to test that and Oscar was game to do just that. “And what exactly would we be doing in said room that we couldn’t do here, hm?” He hummed, turning his gaze to the other with a raised brow.
“And without even giving me a name or offering me a drink first, tut tut. Manners” He almost cooed out, fingers moving to toy with one of the buttons on the older man’s shirt. “How about you give me that name, buy me a drink first and look me in the eyes first handsome and maybe I’ll say yes. Unless you’re a little too in over your head or too shy for me?” He grinned, letting his fingers trail over the other for a moment before bringing the hand back to his glass. Oh yes, he was going to enjoy this a lot he could already tell.
Caleb had to keep himself from rolling his eyes. He’d known guys like this before. As annoying as it was at first Caleb ate it up. He’d always had a thing for the guys that played coy. “Caleb,” he said, looking the young man in the eyes, “And I already told the bartender to put your next drink on my tab. That seem shy to you?” Caleb wasn’t stupid. He knew he gave off a certain nerdy and demure energy wherever he went, but being in a club always brought a different side out of him, if the boy wanted to test him then so be it.

Steve’s hands kept dancing across Vince, tracing his fingers against the other man as if to map him out entirely. How could a moment be so sweet and intimate and yet feel so intense in the same breath. His smile growing at the confession, allowing the next kiss to come from Vince and a soft little sound of pleasure escaped Steve’s lips as he felt the tongue moving into his mouth, a deeper and slightly hungrier kiss that caused him to drag his lips away after a moment’s and run his hand down Vince’s chest and just let their heated breaths linger for a moment as he found a moment of clarity to respond.
“I’m fairly certain I was yours the minute you kissed me like that” He whispered against those lips, leaning in for another kiss and letting the slow passion build and deepen between. Bodies so close, Steve just sunk into the moment and let himself forget everything else. Crossing boundaries of friendship, his ex, none of it mattered. Just this moment with them and wherever it would lead.
The noise Steve made as they kissed went straight to his groin, and - oh god - those hands running down his chest. He welcomed the next kiss wholeheartedly, his heart singing that Steve was finally his, and all he had to do was kiss him. Maybe he should have done that a long time ago, but now wasn’t a time for regret. Vince grabbed Steve’s shirt and slowly pulled him on top of him, his tongue snaking into the man’s mouth. “Is this okay?” He asked when they parted for air.

“oh okay…” he was surprised by that moan. if matt was hot already, him begging was probably something that louis would never forget. “you’re… something else, matthew. surprise me every five minutes.” he spanked matt’s booty. thinking that he was spanking someone ‘straight’ was kinda hot. he’d never had one of those guys. even if matt wasn’t one of them. “so what are you comfortable with? i was about to eat your ass but maybe you wanna top me. or are you going full way at your first?”
Matthew was surprised as the noise that left his mouth as he was spanked. Not something that had happened to him before but he couldn’t say he hated it. He took a moment to ponder Louis’ words. “I’m comfortable with anything, really. But, I-I think I want you to top.” Yes, that’s what he wanted. In fact, it had been what he wanted since they met. He hadn’t had any experience bottoming, but just the thought of Louis inside of him was enough to get him hard.

Caleb needed to let off some steam, so to Wicked Whisper he went. He was new to the city, and finding a club he liked took some time, but it was worth it. The place was nice, classy, even. Not what he was used to when it came to kink clubs, but that made him like it all the more. He’d only been a few times, some were reluctant to do a scene with anyone new, but the ones that were open to it made themselves known.
He spotted the young man immediately, leaning against the bar languidly almost as if challenging someone to come and talk to him. Caleb kept an eye on him as he ordered a drink, and the man seemed to notice. He didn’t want to seem desperate, or to immediately give the young man what he wanted. So he took his time with his drink but made his interest known, unafraid to let him know he was looking. Caleb got to the bottom of his glass and set it back on the bar, making his way over to the man. He stood next to him, but faced out into the club. “You wanna head into a room or are we going to keep staring at each other all night?”
for @forlornlovers
Oscar was having quite the night, he was wearing a brand new outfit that mostly consisted of a pair of snug black jeans that wrapped wonderfully around his firm thighs and his glorious ass, cupping the rounded cheeks perfectly. Not to mention the fishnet top that teased off his upper body, along with a tight fitted jacket to finish it all off. His curls out and proud, some dangling in his face as he leaned against the bar table, drink in hand and a smirk on his lips. He always enjoyed ‘Wicked Whisper, a kink club focused on BDSM that was indeed more upscale in design and atmosphere than most but still just as depraved as any other behind closed doors. And Oscar had noticed one man in particular who had been looking at him since he got here but hadn’t made any kind of move yet, maybe too nervous? Adorable. So for now he just enjoyed his drink, catching the older man’s eyes every so often and giving him a knowing smirk before going back to his drink.

Steve’s hands were still on Vince, as if not wanting to completely lose the physical contact between them even when they weren’t kissing. “I mean, you kissed me and I just kissed you back” He murmured shivering as he felt the intimate sensation of the thumb brushing against his bottom lip and felt the goosebumps running down his spine and the fluttering of his eyes at the sensation of it all. “I’m fairly certain I kissed you because it was the only thing I wanted to do in that moment” He murmured, leaning in a little so their noses brushed together and eyes locked on each other in a moment of both tenderness and yet intensity that was almost impossible to describe.
“And if it calms that jealousy you may have felt in the past, that’s the best kiss I’ve had in a long time” Steve confessed with a lower voice, lips teasingly brushing together again for just a moment and shaken breath followed as he ran his hands up and down Vince’s shoulders. “So…” He murmured, blue eyes locked on Vince. “About what I said before, about anyone being lucky to be yours….is that what you want Vince?” He asked, voice quieter as their eyes locked on each other. “Would you like me to be yours?”
“It does, actually,” Vince smiled, a sense of pride swelling in him. He reveled in the feeling of Steve’s hands moving over him, briefly letting himself imagine what it would feel like to have his hands on his bare skin. He draped his arms over Steve’s shoulders, his fingers playing with the hair at the nape of his neck.
He was about to lean in for another kiss before Steve spoke again. He had to silence all the voices in his head telling him to run, that this was too good to be true. “Yes, that’s all I want,” Vince confessed, relief washing over him as he finally got to say it out loud. “If you let me, I’ll do everything I can to make you happy, I promise.” He kissed Steve, as if locking in his promise, tongue brushing against his bottom lip.

“Of course I do Vince, I’m fairly sure you’re the only one who questions your worth or how wonderful you are” Steve said with a gentle smile and didn’t stop him when he placed the hand on the his knee and kept it there, glancing down for a moment before looking back at Vince and for a moment there was a silence that lingered between them before he watched as his friend moved in slowly, hand moving to his chin and cupping it as he felt Vince’s warm hands, his hot breath on Steve’s lips and then it happened. The kiss was slow and gentle, a brief kiss that by all means did shock Steve and during the kiss he didn’t do much. He didn’t pull away, but he also didn’t return the kiss. But the moment Vince began to pull away, he leaned in and caught his lips in a kiss. A little deeper, but just as slow as his hands came down to the man’s sides and just lingered in this wonderful moment before he pulled back slowly.
“That’s quite a way to comfort me” He managed to say, a soft smile on his lips and blue eyes lingering on Vince as he leaned in to brush their lips together again, nose bumping and enjoying the moment before pulling back again and meeting his gaze. “I take it this is why you never liked any of my previous dates?” He asked, a playful little smile on his face.
The first kiss was an admission. A way for Vince to get his feelings across without complicating them with words. He thought he knew what was coming when he didn’t feel Steve kiss him back. In a second, Vince ran all the responses Steve might have through his head, all the ways he could gently turn him down. If he was going to have his heart broken, he was lucky it would be by someone as kind as Steve. And then the second kiss came, and all his fears dissolved at once. He kissed back, sighing blissfully as he felt Steve’s hands on him.
It was over far too soon for Vince’s liking, but the smile on Steve’s face and the tenderness in his gaze made up for it. “Yeah, pretty much,” he admitted with a chuckle. He ran his thumb over Steve’s bottom lip, unable to believe his luck. “You kissed me,” he mused. “You didn’t just do that because you feel sorry for me, right?” Vince teased, unable to keep the smile off of his face.

“Life rarely is that simple” He nodded in agreement, unable to argue that only any front as he silently took a swig of the beer offered to him before gently placing it down on the table and turning back to Vincent. “But even so you’ve always been your worst critic Vince, ever since I’ve known you” He pointed out, a hand gently squeezing his thigh and watching him with soft blue eyes. “So again, don’t sell yourself short okay? You’ve always been hesitant to go for what you want and assumed you couldn’t have it before you even tried. Don’t let that fear of rejection stop you from going for what you want, okay?” Steve smiled gently, far more happy to talk about Vince and help his friend then he was talking about his own breakup. “Anyone would be lucky to be yours and I mean it.”
Vince felt himself blush as Steve squeezed his thigh. He settled his hand on top of Steve’s wanting to keep it there for as long as he could. Steve’s words resonated with him. He knew that he wasn’t the bravest or most confident man, but there were things worth the risk of being rejected. Did Steve even realize he was fanning the flame? That with every kind word that came out of his mouth, Vince loved him all the more for it? He felt as if he was a dam ready to break, and that all his feelings were going to come out at once. The walls he had built inside of himself were no match against the person that made him want to break them all down.
“You really think that?” Vince asked, even though he knew the answer. Steve was rarely anything but genuine. Yes, maybe now was the time to be brave. His free hand came up to hold Steve’s face, thumb resting on his cheekbone. Gently, he placed a brief kiss on Steve’s lips.

Steve initially hadn’t wanted to bother Vince at all, but the man had just so happened to call when it was all over and could tell something was wrong and when he finally got the truth out of Steve that things had ended between them well he’d all but insisted Steve come over. He knew he’d be okay, a little dissapointed and saddened by it all but it hadn’t been a long enough thing to really be emotionally devastated. But the company was still appreciated as he sat on the couch, thanking the other for the beer that he held onto but didn’t bother taking a sip from just yet. “I suppose you’re right, not sure you could even count it as a relationship fully.” He sighed before frowning at the man’s joking self-depreciation. “Don’t talk like that Vince, we both know any guy or girl would be lucky to be yours. Don’t sell yourself short, even for a joke.”
Vince couldn’t help but shake his head at the irony. There was only one person he wanted to be with, and, well, he really didn’t seem all that interested. “You’re far too kind to me, Steve. It’s not always that simple.” He wondered if Steve ever found it strange that he hadn’t been in a serious relationship since they became friends. No, of course he didn’t. Vince knew he wasn’t a fixture in Steve’s life the way he was in his. But that was okay. If friendship was all Steve wanted from Vince then he was glad to give it.
