It’s just a gender thing! In-universe, we use wizard as a gender neutral term that can refer to women, men, and non-binary people. Some (generally women) prefer to be called witches.

Couple questions!!! I see you have a DHH character and as a DHH person I’m very excited!

I was wondering if you had a DHH on your dev team or consulted with the D/deaf community in the making of that character :0 the D/deaf community is full of wonderful culture and it’ll be be sad to see a DHH character be misrepresented :(

Second question! Can we play, in game, as a DHH person? As said, I’m DHH irl and wear bilateral hearing aids myself and would love to play as DHH in game! Cant think of any games really where that can be done and acknowledged in game and think it would be cool in this one, considering!!

Hello hello! We're so happy you're excited and we hope you'll enjoy his portrayal in-game!!

We haven't directly consulted the community, but Raoul's writer has done her best to research articles on hearing loss and also read blogs from members of the deaf community about their experiences.

Raoul having moderate/partial hearing loss isn't a plot point per se, but it is talked about and acknowledged by the characters. We happily welcome any feedback you, or anyone else, may have after or before playing the demo if you notice any mistakes we made!

Unfortunately, you can't play as a DHH person in BTMO because both our protagonists have set characters and neither of them are deaf or hard of hearing. We'd definitely love to include a protagonist like that in future games though, in which case we'd also reach out for more direct input from the deaf community to make sure it's portrayed accurately from the protagonists' point of view.

im definitely gonna play as circe when the game is released because one: she's named after my favorite greek mythological character, two: she's hot and i want her and to be her at the same time, and THREE: she got that white old man on her romance roster and im into that 😈🙏

We haven't decided birthdays for them yet -- we know a lot of people like that but we don't usually set birthdays for our characters unless it's relevant to the story. 😅

We'll definitely announce their bdays if we end up deciding something, but until then you can just imagine whatever you'd like haha

If he’s romantically involved with you, you’re definitely getting nibbled on! But he doesn’t do it as a platonic sign of affection.
