It is honestly so fucking GENIUS and lowkey FOUL how well the devs of this game managed to perfectly capture the allure of cult leaders + how they indoctrinate people into their following ti just absolutely pump this game and the Seed family full of that particular type of high to make, and keep, people keep coming back for more.

Far Cry 5 really fuck me up good. I've usually always attracted to the villains but these SEEDS really get into my head. I've never been this obsessed.

Mainly John, that dude annoys the shit out of me but damn I love him. Like I'm running to go and kill him but ended up with saying yes and having our wedding kind of shit.

Joseph just felt like guilty pleasure. The amount of "this is wrong but I want to" moment it's ashamed me. And why he have to be shirtless like every damn time?

Jacob, I just want to feel dominated. Very contradicting with my character. Only lord knows how stubborn I am (I'm a Sag). The idea of wanting to be ordered around by him just........ iykyk.

I really just need to channel it out of my system but always ended up spiraling back in. The amount of abandoned sketches. I just huuuuh. I even customized my steam account with them. -Seeing the nude human body is inherently traumatic -Sex scenes in art are pointless -Wearing kink-related clothing in public is the similar to performing a sex scene in front of unwilling participants -Depicting female characters expressing sexuality is always degrading -People's sexual fantasies are always an endorsement of the behavior they want to see in real life -Sex work is more traumatic and coercive than other types of work The goal is to treat sex as just another thing people do. That is a much healthier attitude than hiding it! It's not uniquely traumatic, it's not weird to talk about it or include it in society.

I'm likely going to lose some followers over this, but I need to talk about this because it is just so enraging and gut-wrenching for me to see it all going down;

Edit: it was brought to my attention that not being specific about which people are involved in this behaviour was reductive and also opened up an avenue for racist behaviour to be engaged in for retaliation's sake so I will be amending that for transparency and I wholeheartedly acknowledge that it was ignorant of me for not recognising that could be an outcome. I also like to say if I see ANYONE using this post to make shitty comments or justify endorsing the same behaviour, I will immediately report that shit and block you.

And let me make it VERY clear that this post is aimed only at those involved. There were just as many people of African American descent that were as absolutely appalled by this behaviour as I am and they do not deserve to be singled out in any way, shape or form for a random rant post on the internet.

The whole discourse I've been seeing on tiktok where some grown ass people of African American descent (who should fucking know BETTER-) have been bullying/racially targeting a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD Māori girl for dancing a fucking dance involving music created by African American musicians and, in the same breath, turning around to call anybody who calls them out on it "racist" is just fucking terrible and pulling POC/marginalised group interactions back in a way that is supremely upsetting.

Let me just preface the rest of this rant by saying: I am VERY aware that Māori, just as people from different places/races are, aren't immune to exhibiting racist behaviour and making racist remarks/assumptions. But the shit I have seen people saying to this girl needs to be fucking addressed.

You do NOT get a pass on harassing someone just because you're part of a minority. You do NOT have the right to grandstand on your oppression + generational trauma to justify shitty behaviour towards others. You do NOT have the right to disminish someone's cultural/ethnic group and call her and her people "colonisers" and "fancy whites" to name but a FEW of the things I have seen so far (which is especially fucking heinous considering the indigenous group we come from were and still are dealing with the aftereffects of being fucking COLONISED by the British), just because you're mad about something she did. Which is especially idiotic when you consider the fact that said something isn't hurting anyone in any way, shape or form. And you certainly do NOT have the right to call her a "white girl" and dismiss the POC + indigenous identity of Māori in general to further your own argument.

And I'm just going to come out and say it because it NEEDS to be said, but the fact that this isn't the first, the second, hell, not even the THIRD time that I (a non-passing woman of indigenous/Māori descent) have personally seen or dealt with this kind of behaviour from some people of a similar background on this website alone is ridiculous and those engaging in this desperately need to look in the mirror and realise you are in fact the ones actively behaving like your oppressors/colonisers, and the other marginalised groups that stand by when you are being targeted, by fixating on other POC over trivial things that genuinely do not matter in the grand scheme of what we are all still currently dealing with.

Being part of a marginalised group is hard enough as it is without dealing with shots from your own side as you guys well know. So please just stop and actually THINK about this and sort it out please.
