I don’t think we talk enough about how the entirety of Wicked is built on the irony of No One Mourns the Wicked. The musical exists because Glinda feels the need to tell Elphaba’s story, because she is in mourning and entirely alone in that. Glinda’s love is what creates the musical because no one mourns Elphaba except her, and that is an incredibly lonely place to be. She’s just lost two of the most important people to her, and all she’s trying to do is make someone, anyone else see how important they were.

you know you can just say Nina is bi rep right? You don’t have to skirt around it being like “well it’s highly implied but…” no it’s explicitly stated when she tells Matthias she flirts with both men and women. You don’t even need to read between the lines. It’s the exact same thing as Jesper telling Wylan “no not just girls.” (quote may be a little off) but one gets met with “omg my bi king!!!” (As far I’m aware) while the other is like “well the implication here is—” and you guys are clearly uncomfortable bringing up Hanne as proof because Nina met them when they were fem presenting but guess what? You don’t have to! Because she literally already confirmed it long before she met Hanne! You don’t have to make yourself worried about coming across as transphobic because Hanne is not necessary to concluding Nina is bi! Idk I feel like some y’all just can’t handle it when a bi woman is not “basically a lesbian.” like some bi women almost exclusively date men and that doesn’t make them any less bi!

I would just like to clarify, despite my tone I’m not actually angry at anyone who does this, I get being hesitant to call stuff rep but Nina absolutely is. (And, I’m not calling anyone who brings up Hanne transphobic either but if you wanna include them in your argument, I feel like you’d be a lot less uncomfortable arguing it as “Nina loving Hanne before and after they transitioned is proof she’s bi” rather than “Nina being attracted to Hanne while they were fem presenting is proof she’s bi.”)
