I've honestly been wondering about how much Jinu had to BRIBE, BEG and BEAT those other boys into going along with his plan.

That moment when they get backstage after the signing and they all just turn off, tells me they could honestly care less about things. They're just there to do work for their Big Boss, and get to getaway from the Demon Realm for a hot minute.

Okay but like-

In the clip where Jinu is proposing his plan/introducing the Saja Boys, they already have their bright-colored hair and at least one has his ears pierced. Unless demons naturally have rainbow hair, this means that to prepare for this, they were probably all hunched over the sink together with box hair dye, and either did their piercings themselves or went up to the human world and sat in the chair at Claire's.

Either way, the mental image is funny as hell.

I've just re-started my Youtube channel (I had one a few years back, but due to legal fears I shut it down.)

Hear me out: Dreamworks did Li Shan (Po’s dad) dirty

Aka: we were shown glimpses of a fierce panda dad who also looks to have become the panda village’s leader in #2, but then in #3 we get not that.

Let me start by saying that I do enjoy the 100% gentle himbo we were given in #3. I would sacrifice myself for that sweet panda father.

However!

It took me a long time to embrace that presentation due to the mislead we were given of him in #2

The impression I got of Po’s father in KP2 was definitely the source for Po’s natural ambition to fight. Because we see that panda wreck some wolves’ with a sledge hammer, and a fierceness like that can definitely be passed on in genetics not to mention - as a baby seeing this, it would leave a solid mental impression.

Even at the end of KP 2 when we are shown Li receiving the message of Po still being alive, we are shown someone that is calm, composed and somewhat in a position of leadership. If you have one panda sitting higher up wearing a nice covering, and then have other pandas down below turn to look up at him, I’m seeing a presentation of leadership!

I can see Dreamworks going the himbo route it’s an easier dad-to-son presentation for the kids that watch the movie, as well as it being like “hey look, this dad is big and goofy just like your dad.”

But I kinda wish they’d worked some of that himbo into the message scene, or at least given us a blend. Where we are given this gentle himbo in the start that chose never to wield his hammer again, since it did no good for his wife and child, and then in the end he breaks it back out to help Po with Kai. (Not that I don’t love The Dad Armor contraption)

Just recently watched all three KP movies (4 doesn’t exist in my reality) and THIS!! I love this in-depth look!!

What she says: I’m fine

What she means: In Kung Fu Panda fanworks, Tigress is often portrayed as a violent, temperamental tomboy while Viper is portrayed as demure and polite and a full-blown girly-girl. However, canon shows that Tigress is actually calm and slow to anger unless something really agitates her (such as being passed up for a position she’s been training HER ENTIRE LIFE for in favor of a fanboy who struggles to even climb the stairs), and while her fighting style is aggressive and her personality is curt, her body language is often reserved and even traditionally feminine. Then there’s Viper, whose immediate response to the problem of a building full of cannons AND LIVING, BREATHING PEOPLE MANNING THEM is “We bring down the building!” with the most gleeful tone and the biggest smile on her face, and who canonically entered the world of kung fu because a giant warrior injured her father and her response was essentially “Square up, bitch.” She’s a sweetheart and a peacemaker, make no mistake, but this girl loves a good fight.
