Hello, I have two questions,

1. I want to participate but I’ll be traveling and I don’t know if I’ll be able to have something for everyone day, is it okay if I only do some days? (I’ve never participated in anything like this)

2. I’m a big fan of fem!samfro, is it okay if I write/draw them as women?

Hi everyone! with Samfro Summer a mere two weeks away, I wanted to give a couple reminders and updates.

there is an AO3 collection for this event! Here is the link. It will likely be opened the day before the event begins to accommodate all time zones :) If you’re posting your work on AO3 in addition to Tumblr, please add your work to the collection.

IMPORTANT: If you are going to be posting NSFW WRITING, please tag it accordingly. If you are going to be posting NSFW ART, tag it accordingly and (if necessary) put it under a “Read More”. Thank you :)

When posting your work, please use the hashtag #samfrosummer so that all the works can be kept together, and you can also tag the event blog @samfrosummer to give us a notification when you post! We’ll be reblogging every work under the event there.

We recommend giving your work a title so that we can alphabetize and link everything in one big masterpost at the end of the event. It can be as simple as “Samfro Summer Headcanons” :)

If you forget any of the themes, you can check the masterpost. And on that note, any kind of writing or art is accepted and encouraged.

You can participate as much or as little as you like! Pick a couple prompts that inspire you, or do all ten days!

what parts of celebrían do y’all think elrond sees most in arwen?

does she speak a phrase that her mother used to use often, which makes elrond freeze for a moment? when the sun shines and shadows her face a certain way, does it look like celebrian did the day before she left middle-earth? when she sleeps with one hand resting on her chest, does it keep elrond up all night because it is exactly how his celebrían used to sleep? do they have the same pointed canines? do they laugh in the same gentle tone? does arwen wear the gowns that her mother left behind? i think about this very often
