But seeing her like this, flirting with her shrine maidens whilst you stood to the side, waiting for her to notice that you came to surprise her on her birthday, a small box in your hands.

Yae Miko was a caring lover, normally attentive too. But in this moment you felt like nothing more than a bug for her to step on. You were embarrassed, the other shrine maidens fawned over her, you didn't know what you were to do.

She freezes when she sees you, the sly and cunning look in her eyes dropping and replaced with a soft smile as she approaches you, "Hey, kit... what are you doing here? Wasn't supposed to see you until tonight?" Her hands move up to cup your face. You frown and hold your gift, "I thought... I mean... Happy birthday, Miko..." You look away, trying to hide the soft blush on your face.

Miko's eyes widen and she takes the small, velvet box from your hands, "Kit... when did you..." She was stunned, she couldn't even remember it was her birthday, after five hundred years each year didn't seem like something worth celebrating, but here you were... her delicate human who got her something for a day she didn't appreciate.

"Are... you going to open it?" You look up at her with curious eyes. Miko finally snaps out of her thoughts and quickly nods, slowly opening the plush velvet box, her eyes widen, just slightly. She carefully takes out the bracelet, it had many charms, it was something she would never wear, but she'd wear a potato sack if it was from you.

But then Miko notices it, each charm... it was all references to your relationship. The main focus was a heart charm with '愛してる' carved into it. Was it tacky? Oh, very. But it was so you. Miko pulls you into a tight hug, "Oh, kit... I love it, it's amazing."

You blush softly, your jealousy and embarrassment from earlier are quickly overwritten with pure love as you hug back, "Really?" You whisper, trying to get a little more praise from her, enjoying the change from the usual teasing.

"Of course, but you know what I love more?" She smirks and pulls back, her carefully manicured nails moving to grip your chin as she angles your face upwards. You knew where this was going but you still smile with faux innocence, "What?"

"You." She whispers and pulls you into a soft kiss. This was a birthday she would never forget.

There he was... Alhaitham, reading something or other. You blush softly, you were so weak to him even after a year of being together. You shake your head, you have a mission to complete! You walked slowly towards him, almost like he was a wild animal who you didn't want to startle.

"I can feel you creeping towards me." His deep, velvety voice echoes in the small room, his eyes don't leave his book, making you freeze. You let out a soft squeak in surprise before you rush to his side, "I was trying to surprise you!" You exclaim with a huff. "Surprise me? Why-" He freezes he raises his head, his eyes raking up and down your body, his lips creep into a smirk, "Well... hello there, beautiful..."

You blush and huff, quickly pushing the wrapped gift into his hands, "Happy birthday!" You quickly exclaim. Alhaitham's eyes widen in surprise, he holds the wrapped gift, "Birthday- Ah... that's what was today, I had a feeling something was slipping my mind. You didn't have to get me a gift, my dear. You are more than enough." He was being more sappy than usual. "Just open it already!" You were starting to get impatient.

You had been looking forward to seeing his reaction ever since you bought the book from a market in the desert, it was the book he had been complaining about not being able to find anywhere. It was a rare book from Natlan about some subject you didn't understand, the vendor definitely hiked up the price after seeing how excited you were but you didn't care.

Alhaitham carefully opens the gift, his sly smirk drops into a real smile, "Where... where did you even find this? I've had half the akademiya looking for this book for months..." He grips the cover tightly, almost as if it would disappear if he let go.

You sit on the couch next to him and smile, "I think all that matters is that I found it. Are you happy?" You ask sweetly and he immediately nods, "What did I do to deserve you?" He moves to hug you, he would only be this soft around you.

"Happy birthday, Alhaitham." You whisper as you hold him back.

You yelled at a tired, frustrated but still caring Mavuika, "It's my responsibility as pyro archon to care for my people. I'm not doing this to hurt you." Her voice was calm, but laced with a tinge of hurt.

You were so mad though, she didn't tell you about this little plan of hers until this morning, and then you learn that she told other people before you, the supposed love of her life?! "You don't have to do anything! You can stay with me and leave everything else to the people of the future!" You were pleading at this point.

But you knew there was no changing her mind.

"I'll always be with you, okay? Just because I'm going away doesn't mean I don't love you, I always-" You cut her off, not being able to stand the sickly sweet tone she uses to try and comfort you, "No. No! Mavuika you need to make a choice! Who cares about the people of the future, I should be your priority! You're my priority, always! Why don't you care for me like I care for you?" Tears stained your cheeks and you could feel Mavuika's heart breaking.

"You're my priority, but I need to focus on the bigger picture. The people of Natlan need me, but you're my strong warrior, okay? You're going to be so good after I leave, be happy and find someone new. I'll never forget you, I swear." She cups your face. You break and whisper, your voice a little hoarse, "I don't know what to do without you..." Your hand moves up to wrap around her wrist.

She smiles and carefully takes off her gold bracelet, she slides it onto your wrist, "Here. I'll always be with you. Now be strong for me." She leads you to the bed, and you frown, she pushes your hair back and eventually you drift to sleep.

By the time you woke up, she was gone.

Please can I request a fic on how Capitano would react if the reader got severely injured?

"What were you thinking?!" His voice boomed, your hurt body quivering on the medical bed in the fatuti headquarters, "Going out unsupervised! People know who you are! You are a target!" He continues, showing no mercy for the fact you were hurt.

Capitano pauses and sighs, his mask long discarded, revealing his icy blue*, his cruel words echoing the empty room, there are a few beats of silence before your soft sobs pierce it.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry 'Tano! It's all my fault- I-If I had listened to you then-" You choke on your tears as you try and wipe them, accidentally brushing the cut on your cheek and whimpering.

Capitano pauses, sighing before he wakes up to you and pulls your wrists away, "It's my fault, for not having someone keep an eye on you. Don't hurt yourself further, dearest." He knew he went overboard sometimes, the stress of being the captain of the Fatuti harbingers was always taking a toll on him.

But one thing he refuses to let himself do is hurt you, or kick you when you're down. So for now, he'll wipe your tears, give you a bath and hold you, whispering sweet nothings until you fall into a deep slumber.

Don't expect to get let off easily though, you'll get a scolding the second you're no longer in pain and won't be allowed out unaccompanied anymore. You're the most important thing to Capitano, he won't let you get hurt.

Too much to drink

Barbatos, you definitely had too much to drink. Diluc notices it straight away from behind the bar, the way your speech slows and you sway slightly whilst talking to Rosaria.

Diluc looks at the time, it's getting late. He knew you and Rosaria lived in different directions, does that mean you would be walking home alone? He cursed at the thought.

You stumble over to the bar, snapping him out of his thoughts, "Your finest wine, please, mister..." You slurred, your smile was droopy. "No, I'm cutting you off, you need to go to sleep." Diluc's tone was authoritative, leaving now room for discussion.

Still, you whine, clearly not happy, "Please?~" You tried pulling out your best puppy eyes, but to no avail. "I'm going off shift, see you tomorrow." Diluc says to his coworker, getting a "Yes, boss!"

"Wha...? Does this mean I'm not getting my wine." You pout, archons, you were attractive in Diluc's eyes. "No, no more wine for you, but I will walk you home." He takes your hand, practically dragging you back to your house with long strides, "Slow down!" You whine, he doesn't say anything but slows his pace, allowing you to catch up.

Needless to say, you were surprised when you woke up the next morning with no recollection of last night, and the redheaded man fast asleep on your couch.
