Summary: Everyone doesn't like you and thinks that you're not worthy for Neuvillette, and so they make fun of you, some even ignored you. By the way people in Fontaine treat you it makes you feel insecure and question your relationship with him.

The moment everyone in Fontaine knew about your relationship with Neuvillette would probably the worst thing that happened in your life, because of what people think about you, for not being worthy as the Ludex beloved partner.

And the worst part is that Neuvillette didn't know about any of this, they only talk about it when you're the only one around, when you're not with him. You consider to tell it to him but of course you don't want to bother him, especially since he's busy with his duties as the Chief of Justice.

Now, you got invited to one tea party held by one lady that has been "kind" to you, so of course you accepted it... 'I shouldn't had my hopes up, of course she is gonna be like the others' you thought. Who would've thought that she would be like that? She appeared to be kind to you the first time you met but when with everyone, with her friends and some other ladies, she had just embarrassed you.

She told everyone that (name) is just a common girl, basic, and compared to Neuvillette she's not on his level. She even told everyone that "She's just a problem to our dear Ludex, only a burden for him" she chuckles and everyone at that tea party laughed agreeing to what she said.

Feeling embarrassed, angered, saddened, you just excused yourself saying you'll go to the restroom but after you left you never came back but one thing's for sure, everyone hated you, talked behind your back while laughing. You can't handle it anymore, everyone is insulting you and the fact that you may be ruining Neuvillette's reputation, you feel furious but at the same time what can you do? I mean they're all right aren't they? You're just a problem.

Because of everyone saying things about you, spreading rumours around Fontaine, it's hard for you to go outside because once you do people would look at you and whisper to each other.

Some even threatened you, saying you should stay away from Neuvillette or you'll regret it. You thought it's probably just his admirers that's going way too far, but to be honest it's already affecting your mental health.

Well you did distance yourself from him, like when he ask you out like go to dinner, or have some date you would decline saying you have something to do or you're currently busy. But let's be honest you really wanted to spend time with him. He was at first: "It's alright, next time we could go." But as time pass he was getting worried and confused as to why you were not seeing him anymore.

Always rejecting him. 'What happened?' He thought. You two aren't like this in the past, you two would even date every time there's a free time like after work or weekends. But why are you distancing yourself from him?

This thoughts always bother Neuvillette and the way you act. And now he found himself walking towards your house to talk to you and ask you.

Once he arrives, he knocked on your door. It took you minute to open the door which definitely isn't like you at all since you always open the door immediately when it comes to him (he have like a pattern when he knocks at your door so you know it's him).

You were about to ask him but he just got in your house and closed the door. Now you two are just standing looking at each other, the air seems tense.

"...so uhhh...why did you come here?" You said finally breaking the silence.

"Am I not allowed to come here anymore?" He asked.

"That's not what I meant, what I mean is what's the reason for your sudden visit here?" You clarified.

"It's about you...us...why are you distancing yourself from me? What happened?" He asked.

"What do you mean?... I'm just busy that's why I can't really spend time with you..." You trail off hesitating.

"Don't lie (name)..." He said as he looked at you worried.

"Did I do something wrong that makes you distance yourself from me? If I did I'm sorry... but please tell me so I can fix it." Neuvillette asked as he looked at you in the eyes.

"You?.." you asked as you scoffed a bit. "No it's... it's me Neuvillette, I'm the problem..." You continued as you try not to tear up in front of him.

You can see how Neuvillette's furrow his eyebrows as he heard you speak.

"What? You're not the problem (name), what are you talking about?" He asked as he stepped closer to you.

"So you still don't know?" You asked.

"What do you mean?" He looked at you confused on what you mean.

"People in Fontaine don't like me, they hate me the moment they knew about us, they said I'm not worthy...for you... I'm just a problem...and a burden for you" you said as your voice is starting to break, you didn't even notice that you were now crying remembering everyone's word, insults, threats.

Neuvillette was speechless the moment those words left your mouth. How could he not know about any of this? Did all of the people hurt you like this everyday? He thought that everything was alright but it turns out it's not, how could he let this things happen to you?

Neuvillette wanted to comfort you but when he was about to approach you, you step back and said "I think we should... separate ways, I don't want you to get ruined or people thinking bad things about you because of me" you said as you try to look at him.

He stood there, frozen in his place. He was processing your words inside his head. "W-what?..." He finally get to asked after a few minutes.

"We should break up" you said.

"...But why?"

"Because of me...I was causing you problems, I might ruin your reputation in the future and I don't want that" you answered as you finally looked at him teary eyed.

Neuvillette then approached you as he pulls you closer to him, he held you in his arms. "(Name) please...I don't want to break up with you...Besides you're never a problem, people is just jealous of you and that's why they did that. Besides you will never ruin my reputation because when you came into my life, you taught me how to understand people, how to be considerate and many more. My reputation became much better with you."

You lean on him while you tear up, even if you don't want to but his warmth that enveloped you, you missed it.

"B-but.." you stutter.

"Sshh..." He hummed as he pat your back in order to comfort you just like what you did when he was crying. "I'm sorry I didn't know any of this, I'm sorry you have to go through all of that alone, I'm sorry that I turned a blind eye...and I'm sorry that I'm not there when you needed me the most." He apologized.

After you calmed down you replied to him. "...It's not your fault...so don't apologize" you sniffled as you finally looked at him for him to only wipe your tears away. "No love...it's my fault too for not knowing any of this, for not seeing how much you suffer everyday."

You kept silent as you just let him comfort you. Eventually you found yourself apologizing "I'm...sorry Neuvi...for saying we should break...up".

Neuvillette only shake his head "Its alright... I know you dont mean it, you might had said it but at that moment I can see in your eyes that you do not mean those words" he said as he smiled gently at you. "But...I hope to not hear those words again...I must say my heart ache when those words left your mouth." He continued as he looked a bit sad.

"I'm..sorry, its just that...that was the one I thought would be better for us..for you" you said as you looked down only for Neuvillette to grab your chin gently to make you look at him.

"Its alright...you dont mean that anyways right?" He asked and you nod and that was enough for him to smile again. "It's those people that made you think that...I cannot believe they had the audacity to say those vile things to my beloved, to my partner, who I love dearly from the bottom of my heart. I serve them for so many decades, I protected them yet they return all those things I did with this?" he said as he tucked your loose hair behind your ear. "They didn't even repsect the person I chose to be with me forever" he looked so mad that he let these things happen but you hugged him to calm him down a bit.

"What are you gonna do?" You asked while you lean onto his chest, he reciprocated your hug as he wrapped his arms around you waist.

"Don't worry love...I will handle it all...you just rest here and relax while I fix these, alright?" Neuvillette said as he rubbed your back. "It would also be nice if we could leave Fontaine for a few days to have your mind forget this for a while, don't you think?" He asked as he looked at you.

You hummed and nod. "I guess that would help...but how about your work?" You asked as you now looked at him to meet his gaze on you.

"I'll take a few days off, I'm pretty sure the others could handle the court for a while. Especially since there's no big cases as of now." He explained and that's enough for you to relax a bit.

You finally smiled and that made Neuvillette happy, seeing you smile again made his heart finally calm down and his mind to finally rest. For now he let himself relax on your warm embrace and for later...he would deal with those people that dare hurt his beloved (name).

~ Jin woo who always made time for you at the end of the day, he scheduled all his raids and other work at the morning and afternoon so he could spend time for you at night. So your dates would mostly be evening dates.

~ Jin woo who also makes breakfast for you before he goes to work with sticky note containing different messages. (he does that whenever it's your day off so you could sleep in, it's his way to return the favor since you always makes breakfast for the two of you)

~ Jin woo who also enjoys movie nights, reading, cuddling, cooking/baking, whatever it is as long as you do it with him he enjoys it. He even joins you in your skincare and ever sonce that day it became your routine to do it with Jin woo.

~ I also imagine that you also started to join Jin woo in his exercises (which is his daily quest). At first you only get to join in his runs and since you don't want to push yourself too hard its only half the run, but as time passed you get to join him in his other exercises with his help.

~ Jin woo always tells you when he suddenly needed to go to work. And he always makes up for it even after you told him its fine. Like giving you a bouquet of flowers whether that would be real or crochet (crochet if you are allergic to real flowers) and some other stuff you like, for example things that involves your hobbies.

~ Jin woo also calls you on his break or lunch time.

~ Of course how could I forget. Jin woo would definitely have his shadows near you all the time so they would be able to help you and he could also make sure that you're safe. He promised both you and himself to protect you at all cost.

~ Jin woo who always monitors your cycle so when it happens, your comfort food, drinks, necessities, your gadgets, your book and more its all there beside you while you lay there in bed comfortably. And when he comes back he would cuddle you.

~ Jin woo who also takes care of you when you are sick. He would take a day off just to take care of you, but when you can handle yourself or your condition isn't that bad he would go to work, (because you forced him to even though he don't want to leave you alone, but of course would definitely make sure his shadows are there to keep you company and take care of you while he is out) though he would call from time to time to check up on you, and he would definitely go home earlier.

~ After you recover from your sickness, Jin woo would take you out wherever you want to go. But still looking out for you so you won't get sick again.

~ Jin woo when every anniversary he have different surprises for you and he's so creative on planning it all including the things you love and like currently at that time.

~ Jin woo who would drop hints that he planned you two a vacation out of country to the country you hoped to visit. He planned it all when the day before the flight he told you that you two would leave the next day and when you asked where you two are going he simply said "you'll find out". And because you trust him you just nod and smiled. (Oh and he explained how you don't have to worry about your work since he called and excused you for a week, and he also packed your stuff)

~ The entire time on your vacation Jin woo handled everything, like you dont have to worry about a single thing, he is all prepared. And for your vacation plan, he did scheduled the day and time were you two would visit those places that you two would enjoy, and he left some few days for you to pick on what to do at those days either that would be rest, shopping or if you want to visit the places you just discovered along the way.

Having a depression is hard. Like really hard, it makes your life harder. That's why you took your friend's advice when she said there's this one therapist that is highly recommended.

And that's when you met Vyn. In your darkest times, he was there to light up your path. And you were so grateful to him.

He changed your life. He was there when no one was able to help you, even if it's not his work hours. He told you it's okay to contact him if you needed.

That's why whenever your anxiety hits or you feel like you can't anymore, you always contacted him and as Vyn promised he always came to you and comfort you. Even though he was your therapist he became your friend..a trusted friend.

One time that you contacted him you were crying...

Because when you told your parents about your condition, they suddenly act differently towards you. Like when you suddenly get hit by sadness and anxiety out of nowhere they just stared at you. You feel like you shouldn't have told them anything cause they would just judge you.

Vyn saw how you cried. He don't know why, but when he see you cry his heart always ached. Vyn hope he could take away your pain. But the only thing he could do is comfort you.

He also gives you advices when you needed.

He patted your back while he said "You know maybe because they don't know what to do, that's why they just looked at you. Because this is their first time seeing you like that, right?"

"I guess..." You said as you lean on his shoulder.

"Also (name)... they're your parents, they would never judge you, they would love you no matter what, they care about you...think about this, when you are sick they're there, right? They took care of you when you are sick. So I'm pretty sure they would be there for you too now" he explained.

"Just give them some time..." He continued.

You nodded as you closed your eyes for a second.

"Do you...really think they still love me?" You asked as you opened your eyes again and looked at the ground.

Vyn looked at you. "Of course, you are their child, so of course they would love you" he said as he was convinced.

You sigh softly as you looked at him. "...Thank you"

"Always" He said as he softly smiled at you. Making you smile slightly.

After a moment of silence. You decided to break the silence by asking something to Vyn. "Can I be honest with you?"

"Of course" he answered as he looked at you and wait for you to speak your mind.

"...I don't know why, but seeing people nice to me or some of them telling me they love me...I feel like they are lying, I feel like they meant the opposite...my feelings are so weird."

He listened to what you said and think for a moment before saying something. "(Name) it's normal for you to say that and feel that especially after one of your friends...left you..."

He looked at you for moment if you had a change in mood after he said that. But he saw how you just nods at his words. Looks like you already accepted it.

He then continued. "But it doesn't mean that people are like that...true some people just use you while others are genuine... but give a chance to the people you think or feel that they are genuine, let them be kind to you and love you."

After he said that, you looked down for a bit before looking up at him. You smiled at him and nods "Alright... I'll try"

Vyn smiled back at you. He was contemplating if he should tell his feelings to you, but he thought if not now then when will he do it? He sighed and looked at you. "And maybe...you can let me too?" He asked.

You tilt your head and looked at him confused. "Huh? What do you mean? We're already friends aren't we?'

Vyn chuckled because of your reaction. "I meant that...can you let me love you? As partners..."

• You were an anxious girl and everyone you knew knew that including Sunday. That's why when you go out he would accompany you. And when you get nervous to order or say something he would either speak for you or would shush the crowd to let you speak.

• For crowded places he would hold your hand for you to not get separated to him. And when walking he might do that as well but mostly he would place his hand to your waist. Sunday would also rub your back to make sure you know you're not alone and that he will always be there at your side.

• Whenever someone approach you or someone coming towards you that he don't know who, he would put a hand in front of you or would go in front of you to protect you in case. Like yeah he knows you know how to fight if ever but if he's there with you he won't let you lift a finger, because he will be there to keep you safe.

• It's actually ironic how you feel anxious and nervous at things but when it comes to fighting you were like a different person. Some people actually thought that's a bit weird and some think it's cool. But for Sunday, he loves you no matter what, even if you're a different kind of person in some situations.

The rest of the day you two spend it together, chatting while walking around the mall.

He also accompanied you to go to the stores you're interested in and let's just say he have an idea or two on what you like these days.

When he arrives at the cashier area he saw you and Ayaka talking at the corner and so he approaches you two.

After leaving the department store you two goes to one of the restaurant to have lunch.

You opened it and saw a beautiful necklace, it was their latest and limited necklace. You looked up at Ayato with a surprised look.

"I hope you like it" he said as he smiled.

A Winter To Remember

Pairing: Jing yuan x Reader

Sypnosis: First winter with your boyfriend Jing yuan

Fuyuu-chan: Been a while since I make a Jing yuan fic, also I just realized that I haven't posted this year yet :')

✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧

Winter is your favorite season, it makes you just wanna lay down on your bed with your hoodie on, blanket on top of you while snuggling with your pet cat and some plushies while watching a movie.

But of course the best part is to watch the snow fall with a hot drink and play snowball fight and that's why you invited your boyfriend Jing yuan over when it's his day off to go to your house.

This is basically your first winter with Jing yuan as a couple which is very exciting as you want to do a lot of fun stuff with him, like bake, play some games, cuddle especially since mimi is also gonna come with him today.

And now that he's here you can finally do all of this stuff with him.

You go towards your door once you heard the doorbell rang and opened it only to be greeted by mimi immediately rubbing her head on you like a cat and you saw how she also wears a scarf around her. And of course you pet her as you coo on how adorable she is only to be interrupted by Jing yuan sighing while he pouts "Where is my greeting? Am I invincible now?".

You chuckled as you hug him and welcomed him. "There there don't pout now hahahaha" you said as you pat his head.

He goes to your kitchen and puts some foods and drinks he brought on the way at your kitchen counter. You closed the door and lead mimi outside in your backyard and Jing Yuan following you both as you and mimi ran off.

He chuckled as he saw you and mimi playing in the distance, so he walk towards you both. "Already playing huh?" he said.

"Of course why not?" you said as you throw a snowball at him making him shocked and throw a snowball at you two.

Seeing this mimi decided to join you two as she turned around, dug up the snow and since you two are behind her you two got hit by the snow she was digging.

Jing yuan looked at mimi and throw a snowball at her and then grabbed your hand as you both ran, mimi shook off the snow on her face and chase you both down and "stand up" and fall on top of you and Jing Yuan causing all of you to fall down on the snow, chuckling.

After a few seconds mimi then got off of you and him and lay down on the snow between you and Jing yuan. Laying there you got an idea so you started to make snow angels, Jing yuan saw you first and copied you, then mimi as well but since she can't do that she just roll around, gaining a few chuckles coming from you and Jing yuan.

After a few minutes, you sat up and stand up seeing your snow angel. Then after a bit you heard Jing yuan said "Wanna make a snowman?" and that makes you looked at him immediately and eagerly nod.

So you two started to roll up some snow to make a giant snow ball for the bottom and you help Jing yuan, the rolling stop when it's big enough. After that you go back to where you guys started to make a second one, you started to roll a new snow while Jing yuan go back inside your house to get some things for later to decorate the snowman. Moments later he called you to check on the stuff he got so you stopped half way on the snowball and goes to him.

After checking the things to decorate it you two go outside when you and Jing yuan saw Mimi continuing to roll the snowball you left. You look at her in awe as you smiled and Jing yuan face looks so proud seeing Mimi like that. You goes towards her and pet her head and Mimi stops on what she's doing to rub her head on your hand as she starts to groan (or purr).

After a while you guys finished making the snowman and all of you are proud and after a few touches it's completed and that's why all of you goes inside your house to warm up in your fireplace especially after being outside in the snow for long.

You turned on your fireplace and maked some hot chocolate drink for you and Jing yuan and as you were about to left the kitchen you heard your cat mocha "meow" and looked at you. She probably just finsihed her long nap and decided to go outside.

You exits your kitchen and go to the living room where Jing yuan and Mimi is and Mocha following you from behind. Mocha and mimi are close ever since, so when Mocha saw Mimi she goes towards the lion and "meow" again as if saying "hello". Seeing this Mimi groan and the two go to the giant bean bag you had in the living room.

You looked at the two and back to Jing yuan as you hand him one of the drinks, he glady took it and says thank you. You two sat at the sofa and drinks the hot chocolate to help you two warm up.

Then Jing yuan broke the peaceful silence saying "Look at mimi and mocha they look like they're cuddling" he looks at them and you followed his gaze.

"Yeah they look so cute (⁠｡⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠｡⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♡" you said as you nodded and looked at the two in awe.

"Are you gonna let mocha go outside?" He asked as he realized mocha didn't get to play in the snow.

"Yeah" you then stand up and looked at mocha.

"Wanna go outside baby?" You said in a cute voice as you asked mocha.

Mocha seems to be saying yes as she wags her fluffy tail and got up from the bean bag.

You chuckled "Alright then" but as you were about to open the door to your backyard Mimi got up from the bean bag and followed you and mocha, seems like she also wanted to go with Mocha. So you looked at Jing yuan like you're asking if it's alright, seeing you with that facial expression Jing yuan nodded and so you let the lion and your cat go outside to play for a bit.

Of course you gave your cat mocha a scarf just like mimi that you and Jing yuan bought for your pets.

You watch the two animals play together in the snow as you sip your chocolate drink and then you felt his arms around your waist as he looked at you. You looked at him as he smiled to you, you smiled back and you two looked outside.

Few moments later...

After getting Mimi and Mocha backed in, you cooked dinner while Jing yuan started to bake for desserts.

After cooking and baking you set the table and give foods to the two animals before eating with Jing yuan.

The dinner went well and you washed the dishes as Jing yuan set up the living room for movie night.

After fixing stuff. You go to the sofa were Jing yuan is already sat with a blanket on top of him. After getting settled in the sofa and snuggled to Jing yuan he starts the movie.

Watching one movie after another you feel your eyes getting heavier and so you lean on to Jing yuan's shoulder as you close you eyes. He saw how you fall asleep so he cuddled you close. The two pets laying on the bean bag also sleeping.

Eventually he fall asleep too and so your "family" sleep peacefully while cuddled to one another (You and Jing yuan & Mimi and Mocha).

Going on a vacation out of town to go to the beach but also meeting Vyn there was unexpected but you are glad at the same time since you get to spend time with him.

Vyn accompanied you as you do to him. You both also stay in the same hotel. And spends your days together.

Like swimming in the pool and the beach, watching the sunrise and sunset. Touring around the place and the city, walking around the beach without slippers to feel the sand. Shopping together, like what you need at the moment and some souvenirs. Eating together and visiting famous shops around the area.

And he invited you to also go to the party boat and you agreed. And it was fun, since when you arrived there, there was a lot of people, you go outside and the breeze is cool which you very much like. You and Vyn drink outside as you watch the sky and the ocean while the music is blasting inside the party boat making it like a background for you two.

After this vacation, it makes you had more memories with Vyn and you wish to had more in the future. This encounter with Vyn also makes your vacation more fun and amazing than you have ever imagined.

Sypnosis: (Name) being one of the top detectives, everyone admire her and had a lot of fans, including Totomaru, but then Toto thinks, who would be the most genius? Is it Ron or (Name)? Well you might find out if they were in the same case...

(Name) is one of the top detectives out there, known for being very intelligent. A lot of people had been talking about her mostly because she had solved a lot of cases.

She's also a person you can trust, very friendly as well. All of the people in her investigation squad are her friends. She’s even close with other investigation team members, like Isshiki Totomaru.

Totomaru actually wondered who is the most intelligent - is it you or Ron, his friend that he made a few months ago that was also intelligent and a former student in BLUE.

Well that might get answered today as there was a new case involving a serial killer again.

You bumped into Totomaru in the mall and ended up hanging out. He tells you that he wanted to introduce you to someone he was gonna meet up with when you heard someone scream and of course out of instinct you and him hurry to where the noise came from.

And there you saw a body on the ground and a saleslady, judging by her uniform. The saleslady was sitting on the ground, looking terrified. Who could blame her, the people around look just as afraid. Totomaru looks shocked but you remain unfazed about it, probably because you've seen so many bodies before that you've grown used to it.

You called the police and after that you glanced at the body, observed the surroundings. When you turn back to the body, a man was lying next to it. "What are you doing? And who are you? This is a restricted area," you said to the man, but he seems to be saying something to the corpse.

Then Totomaru came towards you. "Ah, sorry Miss (Name). This is my friend, Ron Komonohashi. He's an acquaintance of mine, and he always does that. He's also the person I wanted for you to meet, the one I've been talking about," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"I see...so that's him," you looked back at the man whose name is Ron. He got up and went towards you.

"You’re a detective right? You look pretty" he said as he smiled. "I've noticed a few details that might have happened here.”

"Oh? Well can I hear it? It might add on the details I've already taken note of," you said as you showed your notebook.

"Wait, you already took notes?" Ron asked.

"Of course," you said. "Also I believe this case is also part of the new serial killer based on how the victim died and that card next to the body, it's what that serial killer does whenever they strike again," you explained as you look at the body.

"As expected of the highly praised and famous detective," Totomaru smiled at you, his eyes shining with admiration.

"Although, I don't think you've gone near the body... how did you..?" Totomaru said, confused.

"Wait, she didn't go near the body?..." Ron said as he looked at Toto and back to you.

"I don't need to since I already saw everything I needed to see," you said as you shrugged. You never really needed to go near the body since you had sharp eyes; only needing to in complicated cases do you have to approach the body but most of the time you don't. It's one of the things your admirers admire about you.

"Sugoiii" Totomaru said, his eyes shining again. "So that's what all your fans have been talking about, I can finally see you in action during the investigation!" he added.

Ron was quiet the entire time, caught off guard. First, you were fast at taking notes about the details, second you didn't have to go near the body because of your sharp eyes and third, the fact that you already connected this case to the other, when most of the detectives he knew took a long time to realize these things. You were clearly different, you were fast and serious about your job.

Ron looked at you and analyzed you for a bit. You looked casual, friendly, approachable, but there is something about you that he can't put his fingers on, something he feels about you that he can’t place yet.

He was so busy thinking he didn't realize the police were already there. You were smiling for some reason. He realized he didn't investigate again, and got distracted by thinking of you. But then you spoke up saying you figured it out, making him even more shocked than before.

He listened as you explained and deduced the entire case. Finally, you point out the killer, which was the saleslady who "discovered" the body. You showed proof that she's the one who did it, only proven when she had one of the pieces of evidence on her.

As she was cornered by you she had no choice but to fall down to her knees and admit she was the one who murdered them all. You notice in your peripheral vision Totomaru leading Ron outside for safety purposes and for no accidents to happen again like any other case he'd been in.

After everything is solved and done you go outside to see the two of them talking.

"Ah, Miss (Name), is everything done?" Totomaru said as he looked at you.

"Yes," you answered.

"That's good to know...also, I'm sorry for not helping" he said as a sweat dropped.

You sighed. What had Amamiya done to this boy that he was sweating like this? Had she been scolding him that much? You thought to yourself as you waved him off.

"Nah it's good, I handled it anyways and besides it's your day off and this is my investigation squad area. No need to feel bad."

He sighed in relief, he thought you would scold him. "You're so nice, Miss (Name). Thank you," he said.

"No need to thank me... also, stop with the formalities. The job is over, anyways," you said as you finally looked at Ron only to meet his gaze already on you.

"Wanna have some coffee?" Ron asked.

"Hmmm? Well I guess I could use some coffee break, so sure," you said as you smiled.

Then the three of you set off to go to the nearest coffee shop. Once you all arrived you ordered your drinks and snacks and picked a seat in one corner. Ron breaks the silence "You were really good back there, I can't believe you solved that so easily."

You chuckled. "It was obvious, the girl already showed signs from the very beginning."

"She did?' they both asked at the same time.

"Yep," you said. Just in time, you hear the counter call the number for your order.

Totomaru said he would get the drinks so you and Ron were left alone. "Tell me, Ron, why were you so distracted earlier? I noticed you didn't get to solve it, either," you said.

"Huh..? What do you mean?" he said, caught off guard.

"You were looking around even while I was explaining the murder and the evidence, so it was pretty obvious,” you tap your fingers on the table. “But you’re probably wondering how I knew you were the one solving the cases when Totomaru “handles” the situation, right?”

Ron nodded. You turned to where Totomaru was and saw there was a line to get the order, so you looked back at Ron. "Don't tell it, Totomaru but knowing him, he wouldn't know how to solve difficult cases. When I heard what Chikori Monki the journalist told me about Totomaru’s attitude and reaction during the coffee shop case,it just confirmed it for me. Even Amamiya is surprised he gets to solve cases like that."

You looked back at where Totomaru is and back at Ron again. "And then I heard you were always with Totomaru in those cases, it clicked that you were the one solving those and telling it to him. I also heard you were a former student in BLUE, Totomaru mentioned meeting one of the professors there; well...late professor. You have my condolences," you continued.

Ron was silent the entire time, you know so much about him. "Did you research about me?" he asked.

“Not really. There was no need. I get all my information from stories Totomaru tells me, even if he leaves your name out of it. I heard your name a long time ago in BLUE, I just remembered recently. Finally, I heard from my friend Kawasemi about you and he just confirmed it for me when I told him.” you wave your phone around, showing your recent chat with the detective. Ron is stunned.

"That's a lot of information you have there," he said, chuckling nervously.

"Of course, I have to know things about the people I interact with," you said as you smiled innocently.

"Ah...wait...don't tell me you know about the-" he was about to ask when you cut him off.

"Oh, Totomaru is here... and to answer, yeah." you said as you looked at Ron and to Totomaru who was approaching with a tray in hand with all of your drinks and snacks.

Ron looked at Totomaru who set the tray down on the table. "Thank you for getting the order," you said as you grabbed your drink and snack.

"Thank you as well for treating us Mis- ah (name)" Totomaru said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"You're welcome" you said as you took a sip of your drink.

"Wait..don't change the topic, how'd you know about that?" Ron said as he looked you in the eyes.

"Umm it's obvious? I notice a lot of things other people don’t, especially like earlier. Besides, when Totomaru tells me about his cases, or I hear the police talking about recent cases, I ask about details. And one thing the other police always mentioned was something happening at the end of a case: when the killer is found, a man would pressure them, but Totomaru would always manage to save the day.” you took a bite on your snack.

"Huh..?" Totomaru looks puzzled when you say that.

Ron just looked speechless. How could you know every little detail?

"Wait, Toto, don't tell me you lead me outside earlier because she told you to?" Ron turned to Totomaru and asked.

"...Umm, yeah, (Name) told me to. She said we should both go outside and I should look over you.." he said as he recalled what you told him earlier as he held his chin.

Then Ron suddenly looked at you with wide eyes and Totomaru gaped at you. "Hold on a minute, you knew from the very beginning? Is this what you’ve been talking about?"

"Not quite the very beginning, but yeah, some of it. I didn’t want any problems. And besides, I don't want that happening under my care. If you don't want whatever is going on with you and the culprit to happen then make sure to go outside or somewhere far away after Totomaru voices your deduction," you said as you looked at him unfazed. You were expecting him to react like this anyway.

Ron looks at you, completely floored. Here you were, basically aware of half his life, retelling it to him casually. Totomaru looked confused still, but then it clicked after a few minutes of silence.

"Wait, she knew everything? You knew?" Totomaru said as he looked at Ron and then you repeatedly, looking for an answer. So you explained everything to him again.

"Wait, but you never knew much about me and don't ask people about me," Totomaru said but you just shushed him

“That’s just what you think,” you chuckled as you sip your coffee. “Besides the more I heard about Ron, the more I thought he was interesting.”

After that you and Ron got close especially after knowing everything. He took his time with you, getting to know you almost as much as you knew him. Ron also found out you were also good at self defense after one of the killers in one case attacked. He saw how you handled it. He thought about it before, when he first met you, but you were a bit scary...

As time passes, you, Ron, and Totomaru had cases that all of you would investigate together. You and Ron took this chance to compete (in a good way) on who'd be the first to solve the case. Totomaru actually couldn't believe you and him would hold competitions even during times as serious as this but eventually he got used to it. Most of the time, you win because you distract Ron, but at the same time Ron does the same to you and that makes you lose to him.

You said you would defeat him in other cases, and there is no problem in finding some cases because every time you three are together somehow there is always a murder and if not probably theft or other things. Ron seemed happy to solve more cases; sometimes you were, too, but at the same time you find it rather concerning...

While in the past everyone saw only Ron and Totomaru, now they see (Name), Ron, and Totomaru together. People even said that Totomaru looked like a third wheel to you and Ron, especially with how you got along. Some even said that you and Ron looked like enemies to lovers as you two would always "fight" in investigations.

It's weekend, so what time is it?

That's right! Library time! Your all time favorite hobby is reading and so you were always excited to go to the library.

You and Neuvillette meet up earlier before lunch in town so you two can eat together for lunch in Café Lucerne and after you two ordered a take out for later while you two are in the library.

While on your way you saw a new bookstore so of course as always you two go inside to see what they have.

Always telling yourself to just look but can't help but buy at the end. So there we go your tote bag full of new books, it's supposedly for grocery you say but to be honest it's just for new notebooks, sketchbooks, books, and art books.

So there you go, your finally at the library. And it just so happened that you built a private library and it's done a few weeks ago and you love it so much. So basically your library, and recently you and Neuvillette always go there for the weekend.

You entered and go to one of the sections, you place the other books you just bought in the bookshelf and the notebooks to the Writing section you had. You love writing because you always get inspired by the books you read so you had the writing section where all the things you need are there.

After that you go find Neuvillette, and you found him sitting in one of the chairs in the center. You approached him with one book in hand and notebook and your fountain pen, in case you got an idea on what to write.

"Hey, found a book to read?" You said as you placed down your things on the table.

"Not yet" he says as he finished placing down the snacks and drinks you two ordered earlier for take out.

"Then go find one, I'll be here" you said as you sat down and smiled at him.

"Alright" he says as he go to his favorite section, thinking on what to pick.

While you were sat down and about to open the book, you got an idea on what to write, so you opened your notebook and grab your fountain pen and starts writing down your idea.

You were still writing when Neuvillette came back with a book in hand.

"Have a new idea huh?" He says as he looks at you writing while smiling.

"Yup hehe" you said as you looked at him.

He chuckles as he sat down and opened the book.

"So what book did you picked?" You said as you take a peak.

"It's a mystery novel (book name)" he says as he knew what was coming.

You gasp.

"Isn't that the book I recommend??" You said as you happily looked at him. You were glad he picked the book you recommend a few days ago.

"Yes it is, I thought why not try it especially since you have good taste in books" he says as he smiled helplessly.

"Awwww thank you, and I'm sure you would love that book!" You said. Excited for him to read it and see his reaction or his say about it after.

"Okay" Neuvillette said as he started to read.

You smiled and grab the book and starts too, while reading halfway you got another idea and inspiration from the book so you write it down and you will probably continue to do your idea later when you have the story in your mind.

In between of reading the book, some parts Neuvillette would talk to you about the part he likes in the book or where he was not expecting a part and you would see his facial reactions. You two would also take a break from reading, like drinking the drinks you two got and eating the snacks.

Few hours had passed and Neuvillette is done reading, he looks at you and see that you were still reading and looks like almost finished so he kept quiet and took a sip from his drink.

After a few minutes you closed the book and looks up to Neuvillette and saw him looking at you.

"Why are you looking? Is something on my face?" You asked as you place your hand on your face.

"No I was just admiring your beauty while you read" Neuvillette said as he chuckled because of your reaction to him looking at you.

You're flushed from his compliment so you looked away for a bit.

"Oh come on.... Anyways are you done reading?" You asked as you calm down a bit and finally looked at him again.

"Yeah a few minutes ago" he said as he points to the book he recently finished.

"I see, so how is it?" You asked. You look like you're so interested to his final say about the book especially you recommend it to him.

Neuvillette then told you about his opinion and true feelings about the book and you listened to him all the way. And you can tell that he enjoy the book because he was telling how he feels about it to you with a smile.

After that, he also asked you about the book you've read, you told him you felt different emotions about it it's like a roller coaster feeling but mostly you were happy especially in the end of the book where there was an art of the main characters together hugging each other.

You also told him a fact about the author that they were also an artist and so they decided to draw the main characters at the end. Which is cute and heartwarming.

You showed him the drawing and he smiled, because it is indeed cute and nice for the author to add it at the end.

After that you ask Neuvillette if he wanted to borrow a book in your library since when you still don't own a library he would usually borrow books in different libraries.

He agreed and so you waited for him to pick books to borrow and after that you two leave the library after closing it. Then the two of you only walk for a bit when you arrived at your doorstep (and to add something, the library and your house are actually in like a compound where you own that lot).

You offered to Neuvillette that he should stay over at dinner or if he would like to stay in for the night (which always happen since you two are best friends). And so he agrees (like usual).

Reading Each Other's Favorite Books

Oh how you loved reading, always one of your hobbies.

Neuvillette is also happy when he knows how you love reading so he can also talk to you about books and his favorites, and some of the books he liked is one of your all time favorite which he was glad about.

One day, he told you two of his favorite books and showed it to you, and since it was interesting you asked Neuvillette if you could borrow it and read it on your free time, and of course he was glad to hand it out to you.

So after your work the next day, you read one of the books and surprisingly you finished it one and a half day, I guess because it was so interesting you were so invested in it and didn't realize it until you can't flip the page anymore as that is the last page of the book.

And so you begin the second book, you read it cover to cover, and you can't believe how tragic of a past the main character experienced, you can tell how good it is because on how the author describes it and some parts did really send shivers to you but thankfully at the end of the story the main character had their happy ending.

You were satisfied as you closed the book and placed it gently on your bedside table, this is what books do to you, when you are reading it, it feels like you can escape reality for a moment and be in another world where you can see all the things happen in front of your very eyes and at the end you wouldn't realize how much time you spent on reading.

You suddenly had an idea, so you grabbed a paper and your fountain pen to write a note to Neuvillette, I mean sure you would meet him in the weekend but you can't just help it but let him know immediately about what you thought about the two books you've read, so you started writing all of your thoughts down while smiling. After a good few minutes you fold it and put it in the envelope you had.

The next day, while on your way to go to your workplace you make sure to stop by at Palais Mermonia where Neuvillette's office is and as you walk towards the entrance you saw two guards who knows you pretty well since they know you were close with Monsieur Neuvillette but as you greet them you saw Sedene who is carrying a file, probably a new case, so you also greets her, she asked if you will chat with Neuvillette but you said you just wanted to give him this one envelope and two books that he let you borrowed as you were also going to your workplace.

She was so kind that she says she will give it to Neuvillette along with the file, you thanked her as you bid her goodbye as well as the guards.

While on your break time you received a letter, it's from Neuvillette! You opened it and read it, he just said he's happy that you enjoyed reading his favorite books, he also list some new few books that he recommend to you and that he would hand them out once you two meet in person again and he asks if you would also like to do the same.

You were smiling the entire time you're reading it and immediately took a paper and starts writing down a reply.

For a few months you two would always recommend books to each other and after reading it you would make a note about the things you like about the story and he would also do the same, it's like you two are penpals and when weekends you two would spend it together but most of the time it's just you two reading books together.

Loving Neuvillette and thought that he doesn't reciprocate so you just try to not think about him and try to move on (keyword: try) but most of the time his face is always on your mind, on the other hand Neuvillette is so in love with you but can't say it, because of the many times he said that it was the time to tell you, he always fail and it came to a point that it rained heavily and the timing that you arrived at his office and comforted him.

The next day he talked to the melusines and told them his feelings to you and they give suggestions on what he should do, so the time you enter your office you saw a bouquet of flowers in your table it was red roses and a letter saying:

"Here's some flowers thank you for comforting me yesterday and i'm sorry you see me in that situation, but I would like to tell you something later if that's alright with you. The place is Café Lucerne at 6:00 p.m, if you want I will pick you up at your workplace."

You blushed as you read the letter and after reading it you placed it down to the table gently and took the flowers and smelled it, it smells great and red roses huh, in flower language it means love right? You blushed again as you think about it.

You've been friends with Neuvillette for a while and never did he smiled at you but you're okay with that as long as his comfortable around you.

But of course over time you and Neuvillette became closer and closer to the point he slowly started opening up to you.

And one time you visited his office in Palais Mermonia, it's been raining for a while but you came over because it's the day where you two spend time together but what greets you as you entered his office is him crying silently.

You rushed towards him and put your hands on top of his hand as you said "Why are you crying Neuvillette?"

He looked up as he saw you looking at him worriedly.

"Ah (name) you're here..." He said as he looked away.

You cupped his cheek to turn his face to face you as you brush away his tears using your thumb "Yes I am here, now can you tell me why are you crying?" You said softly.

He calmed himself first but it still rains outside and after a few minutes he told you the reason of his troubles and you listened to him.

After telling everything to you, you smiled at him for comfort. "I understand what you feel Neuvillette, I've been there before, but if I overcome it don't you think you can do the same? Besides you're strong and if you can't do it alone don't worry as I will always be by your side to help you"

He looks at you as you say that as he smiled at you. "Thank you (name)"

You got startled as he smiled at you for the first time but regained your composure back "Your Welcome... And your smile is beautiful, you should smile more often it suits you"

He looked away a little as he coughed a bit because he felt a bit embarrassed. "Thank you... But why do you look so happy when I smiled?"

You chuckled.

"It's because it's you, it's natural to be happy when you see someone smile especially when you're the reason they did, but most of all it's because your smile is the only thing I would love to see" you smiled gently as you said that.

Neuvillette's eyes widen as he heard you said that.

"I would love to see it more often" you continued as you shyly smiled.

He looked at you as he smiled again "Alright then"

You both then smiled at each other as the rain slowly stopped and a rainbow begin to appear outside.

Finally you saw him smile this is definitely a memory to treasure or are you going overboard? You know what it doesn't matter cause for you this is important and you will be forever happy to see him smile more often. To see the person important to you smile and happy (especially if you're the reason for that and in this case you are and for future as well ;) ) is enough for you to live happily.

'Oh no...it can't be' you thought as you realized that you have fallen in love with Neuvillette. 'No way' you thought again, I mean who would've thought that you would fall in love with Neuvillette, he's literally your best friend.

You shake your head and tried to convince yourself that it's nothing (keyword: tried) but nope that thought is still in your mind, then you were pull out of your thoughts when you heard Neuvillette called out to you.

"(name)?... (name)?" Neuvillette said as he waved his hand in front of you.

"Ah... Yes?" you said as you finally looked at him and realized you were so deep in thought that you forgot you were in a picnic with him.

"Are you okay? You seemed to be in a deep thought, is something bothering you?" He asked as he looked at you worriedly.

"Yes I'm okay, I just thought of something" you said as you smiled at him.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes" you said as you grab a madeleine and start eating it.

"If you say so, but if something is bothering you don't hesitate to tell me okay?" He said.

The two of you then chat while eating snacks, but then something inside you tells you to tell it already to Neuvillette, so you tried to get the courage and took a deep breath.

"Um, Neuvillette? Can I tell you something?" You said.

"Hmm? Sure" he said as he smiled.

"I want to tell you what's on my mind earlier, and this might sound a bit weird since you know we are best friends and all" you continue.

"It's okay, you can tell me anything" he said as he looked at you and you can tell he's ready to listen anytime for you.

"I wanna ruin our friendship... We should be lovers instead" you said the first part seriously but at the last part you said it playfully.

When he heard the first part his smile disappeared but when you continue to say the second part his eyes widen as there's a red tint that appeared in his face.

"Okay, so what I thought earlier is unbelievable that I myself can't believe that thought crossed my mind, but I have fallen in love with you" you said as you looked at him straight in the eyes.

"Are you kidding?" he asked.

"No I don't think so, but it's weird right?" You said as you chuckled.

"No it's not weird, but why do you think you've fallen in love with me?" He aske curiosly.

"I don't know, I guess because I can feel my heart beating fast whenever I see you, feeling butterflies I guess that's what they call it, and when I see you you seemed to shine in my eyes, cringe right?" You said as you took a sip on your tea.

"That's so sweet, I can't believe you're the first one to tell it to me, I was planning to confess to you tomorrow" he said as he smiled at you gently.

"...Wait what??" You said as you placed down your tea and looked at him surprised.

"Yes I like you or should I say I love you too" Neuvillette admitted.

"..." You processed what you heard from him as you just stare at him.

"Hey don't just stare at me, say something" he said.

"Since when?" You asked.

"A long time ago, but I'm afraid to tell it to you because I might ruin our friendship but I gathered my courage and plan to tell you but you beat me to it" he said.

"Ah, well that was unexpected" you said as you looked at him.

He chuckled.

"So... You know how I have a reservation with the restaurant tomorrow right? And I'm supposed to confess there but since we already confessed today, well I guess we could have our first date tomorrow? If you like" he said as there's a blush that tinted his cheeks.

You chuckled as you saw him blush. "Sure I would love that" you said as you softly smiled at him.

After hearing what you said Neuvillette can't help but smile at you warmly.

In The Weekend

Neuvillette and you at the weekend, you two would definitely go out and have some tea party with the melusines and have some quality time with each other.

• Okay first of all, I don't think Neuvillette would tell you immediately in your early stage of your relationship that he is the hydro dragon, but of course he would tell you after a while when he thinks it's the right time to tell you, so you eventually find out about it.

• Once you know that the hydro dragon is actually Neuvillette, you got surprised at first and tried to process it but now that you think of it, it does rain when he's sad, you thought at first that maybe that was just a coincidence but apparently not.

• So whenever it rains in fontaine you immediately knew that Neuvillette is sad, so whether your outside doing stuff, you will go to his office because you knew for a fact that he's always there at the afternoon, well he feels tired and got affected after trials and you noticed it after being with him for a while.

• You will be there and comfort him and tell him sweet nothings and cuddle him.

• Now another thought of both of you holding hands while you both walk to your destination, and most of the people in fontaine always saw you both holding hands and can't help but look at you and neuvillette sweetly, everyone literally says that the both of you are the best couple in fontaine.

• You also visits Neuvillette in his office, but mostly you visit him at lunch break and you both eat lunch whether you bring food, go to picnic or have a reservation in a restaurant.

• You also visits him at his office at afternoon when your work finishes and spends some time there either reading some book or help him with his papers, when he's talking to someone and you happen to see Furina who is your close friend who loves dramas as well, you both would chat about stuff until Neuvillette finishes talking to someone at his office.

• And at times were Neuvillette are free you both hangout together with the melusines, you had gotten close with them even before you and Neuvillette got together and when they knew that you both is in a relationship they were all happy about it because they're two favorite humans (okay maybe not really about neuvillette but he's in human form soo) are together that all of them see you both as they're parents.

• At times that you are sad or stressed, Neuvillette will be there for you but if his currently busy he will try to make time for you but if he can't like his in a trial he will tell the melusine Liath to bring you the flowers he had picked and your favorite snacks with a letter from him, but most of the time Neuvillette is always besides you, he will hug you, comfort you, and cuddle you just like what you do for him whenever he's sad.

• He will actually give you flowers every week (but if you don't like flowers he will give you other gifts).

• Oh! Oh! OHHHH .... Okay okay, you both might as well go to the sea and go diving together as you both see some sea creatures and otters!! You also said to Neuvillette after going diving with him that he kinda resemble an otter despite being a hydro dragon, which he got confused but when you said that it's because of his hair now he kinda gets it.

• He also took a sea shell and pearls that's under the sea, a perfectly shaped one too, he also bought some chain for the necklace, and he started to make a sea shell necklace with one pearl on two sides for you and it's handmade by Neuvillette! Even though he can just buy some or order a custom one, he decided it will be more special if he makes it on his own!

• And he gave it to you as a gift at your Anniversary! And you gave him a otter plushie! It's basically a two otters holding each other, one is a blue and one is a (fav color), he said he will have the (fav color) otter because it represents you and you will have the blue one as it represents him, so whenever the both of you hug or see the otter plushie you both will remember one another. You also made him a handmade gift. (You can decide on what ever you want to give him).

• (A plushie may not actually exist in the original but please give me this one thing 😭😭 it exist to me alright)

• You both also go shopping together when there's no much work to do, like grocery and he will also buy stuff for you even though you told him that he don't have to, but he did anyways.
