I AM GOING TO READ A BOOK!

I haven’t read a book of fictional glory since I was at school. It was probably even John Steinbeck’s “Of Mice and Men”! Sure, I’ve read books about programming, autobiographical writings, cooking instructions, film scripts and IKEA manuals but not an actual piece of fictitious text. You may or may not know that I am interested in most of the arts, I’ve seen or tried out many things although mainly camera related - film making, photography, acting, even weird experimental film acting and producing. Also things like painting and poetry but I’ve never read a damn book! My brother is @slytherin-bookworm-guy, he has shit loads of books and reads and writes about them all the time. Seriously, I’ve never seen him without one in the past few years! Anywho, he let me borrow George Orwell’s Animal Farm which I aim to start reading within the next few days. It may take me a while but I’m going to give it a good go! I’ll even report back to let you know how it went so come have a look here some other time to find out. I hope I can enjoy this art form and be swept into a world of imagination imagery because there sure are a lot of books out there and I would love to be able to want to go sifting through them in search of grand inner-head imagery! We shall see. Wish me luck!

It’s been a busy few weeks recently. We took in my girlfriend’s old family pet cat, they had her for 12 years but she which sadly got sick and had to be put down. There was then a gap in the household that only a feline creature could fill. We got Leo (first image) from a really nice lady in a nearby town, he’s so lovely and chill whilst at the same time being mad as fuck - perfect! I also continued my (some would say strange) hobby of collecting old vintage computer peripherals by picking up the first PS2 connection mouse by IBM from 1987 in a local thrift barn (second image), It has no ball, but neither does the cat and that doesn’t stop me thinking he’s awesome! The last image is yet another cat to conclude this cat and mouse themed post. It’s actually a sand cat that I snapped (not literally) at a local zoo. Was a spontaneous trip and all-round awesome day out! This is just a little update just because, no real reason.

Sky Magic Live at Mt.Fuji : Drone Ballet Show by MicroAd, Inc. from Sky Magic on Vimeo.

Beautiful backdrop of the world heritage site Mt. Fuji was used to stage the first Live performance using MIDI controlled LED flying machines, accompanied by Shamisens, the Japanese traditional guitars.

This was done so by utilising more than 20 units of these flying machines, flight swarming formations, music, and 16,500 LED lights to combine into a single audio visual extravaganza. Furthermore, we are able to control the flying machines, visual and audio aspects concurrently, using the DMX512.
