Great ideas! I’m pretty sure I can do a Top 5 fave moments easily, there are alot of great moments between them. I’m doing a rewatch of S3, and the “protective karedevil” triggered me hard, girl...cos I secretly love that moment when Matt shows up at Karen’s apartment and at the slightest WHIFF of Matt’s reasoning of keeping her in the dark, Karen’s all “I DARE YOU TO SAY U DID IT TO PROTECT ME, I DOUBLE DARE U”. 

Like, damn, not today, Satan, huh? Hehe. Anyway...I’ll definitely use these as inspiration for more gifs! :) Thank you!

It’s time for our first Karedevil Squad Secret Santa!

What you need to do: 1. Fill out this poll by November 11th. It only takes two minutes!  2. Once you are paired off, you will receive a link to a second poll so that you can list your gift preferences (it will include a prompt list to choose from and the person you’re creating for will get the same thing!) 3. You will receive a short wish list for the person you are giving a gift! This does not limit you in any way, it is supposed to help give you inspiration! 4. Gifts are due between December 21st-31st!

Rules: 1. This is a gift exchange. That means that if you are unable to create something, we cannot assign you to a creator. In the coming weeks, we will post a prompt list to choose from for those who can’t participate and creators who have the time might still create something! 2. Gift assignments will go out the week of Nov. 12th. 3. Fanfic must be at least 1000 words, but there isn’t a limit as long as it is a finished work. 4. Gifts do not have to be holiday themed, but it is definitely encouraged. 5. Remember that someone is creating something for you, so how they go about creating is completely up to them. The chemistry between me and Élodie Yung – who plays Elektra –, I think it captures the deep, exciting connection between the two. I could relate to that strange, almost toxic love for someone who isn’t meant for you. What we never tried to do, and I think I’m speaking for the writers of the series as well, was to make the beautiful story with Karen – Deborah Ann Woll - look like a rebound relationship. Ultimately it’s a much deeper bond, which lasts fifty years and ironically is more important exactly because it doesn’t draw from roof-jumping, but from everyday life. I think if Karen and Matt could find a way to match their respective darknesses, they would find an excellent balance.
