"the concept of queerplatonic relationships originated from the asexual community" and "anyone of any orientation can be in a QPR" and "it's weird to give an overview of QPRs that mentions asexuality without mentioning their significance to so many aromantic people" and "QPRs don't need to be non-sexual" are all true statements that can easily coexist

99% of 'problematic' ii ships are literally people grasping at straws and making shit up to explain why you cant like something. i genuinely do not gaf about any of these ships but it pisses me off when people use it as an excuse to harass someone
"yin x yang / shipping the cherries is problematic because they're siblings" this is a headcanon
"you can't ship yinyang or bot with anyone because he's minorcoded" this is a headcanon
"you can't ship mephone x anyone because he's minorcoded" this is a bad headcanon
"you can't ship mephone x the contestants because he's an abuser" this is probably projection
"you can't ship suitcase with knife because i see one of them as being gay/lesbian" this is a headcanon
"you can't ship silver spoon with candle because i see one of them as being gay/lesbian" this is a headcanon
"you can't ship [character] with [character] because i see them as just friends" this is a headcanon
"you can't ship fan/test tube/paintbrush/lightbulb with anybody else because fantube/lightbrush is canon" this is a headcanon
"you can't—" this is most likely a headcanon. you don't need to justify not liking something. you can just not like it. the end everyone claps and obama is there

The rise of discourse about trans mascs/trans men in the lesbian community has me realizing something.
So many of ya'll hate heteronormative standards, but are all too comfortable upholding cisnormativity. I'm fucking tired of people saying "maybe I'm not woke enough for this..." instead of trying to understand queer people's unique perspectives on gender and its relation to sexual identity labels.
Here's my take: Gender is complex and is defined differently by everybody. Womanhood and being socialized as a girl can be notoriously traumatizing due to the sexism ingrained into our society (especially when we're taught from such a young age that we will always be victimized and abused for being women). As such, when someone transitions to a masculine identity, those experiences don't suddenly go away.
And no, you're not "invalidating yourself" by saying you're a lesbian if you're a trans man. You're exhibiting a unique combination of female socialization and male gender identity. And you're not invalidating other trans men, either, because you're not forcing them to use the lesbian label.
Stop pushing queer people into boxes!!! Especially when the lesbian community is known for its gender-nonconformity and trans identities (butches and studs, for example, many of which are transmasc).
I could also talk about how this corresponds with a rise of fascism and conservative values, and that by pushing queer people down you are only contributing to homophobic mentalities, but you CLEARLY aren't ready for that.
Sincerely, a transmasc lesbian

Gender neutral alternative to the suffix “-ess”
Hey so I came up with this years ago but never told anyone until now. Basically, y’know words that have a base form, and then end in “-ess” when they’re feminine?
God/Goddess
Waiter/Waitress
Host/Hostess
Prince/Princess
While many people have gained a more gender neutral perception of the base words, there is still a masculine connotation associated with them for a lot of people. In my ideal world language will eventually evolve to a point where we don’t have to worry about all these silly gendered suffixes, but people who prefer gender neutral language shouldn’t have to stew in dysphoria while they wait for society to catch up.
Here’s my proposed alternative suffix option:
“-en” instead of “-ess”
God/Goddess -> Goden
Waiter/Waitress -> Waitren
Host/Hostess -> Hosten
Prince/Princess -> Princen
I really like the sound of this suffix, it fits me well, personally. Do you prefer gender neutral language, and want an alternative suffix, but HATE this? Make your own! Find one that works for you! Have fun!

happy pride. i better not be seeing *that* one particular meme this fucking year. i need yall to be normal about transhets, enbyhets, straight intersex folks, heteroromantic gays/lesbians/mspecs, homoromantic straights and straight aspecs this year. /srs
(Image ID: An edited image featuring three pikachus holding either strop signs or rainbow flags and floating text. Part of this meme has been edited out in black with white text added. The text reads “it’s "june” which mean it’s Time for a reminder that the original version of this meme is incredibly aphobic and ignores the existence of trans and nonbinary people too. Straight aspecs, straight trans folks, straight intersex folks, straight nonbinary folks and heteroromantic gays/lesbians/mspecs exist as well and are still queer. Queer =/= nonstraight. Happy Pride Month yall!“. There is also an arrow and black text which reads "And vice versa!”. End ID)
(PS: Exclusionists will be blocked on sight, so don't bother).

when making posts about transfems and transmascs you need to remember that not all transfems are women and not all transmascs are men. if you go "support transmascs!" but only mean binary trans men or "support transfems!" but only mean binary trans women then say that. say men and women. there's absolutely nothing wrong with supporting trans men and trans women but not every transmasc/fem is one.
gnc, agender, nonbinary, transneu, transandrogynous, countless xenine/xenic terms and neogender umbrellas can all be transfem/transmasc while not being a man or woman, or examples of transfem men and transmasc women who are men/women but not in the way that applies to the posts. + examples of transfems or transmascs who are bigender/multigender/trigender etc, who are both men and women, that are never involved in most posts either.
it feels very alienating trying to find transfem posts for myself then all of the posts i see are specifically for binary women instead of all transfems. it's also alienating when people, especially fellow trans people, have called me invalid on past blogs/websites when i mention being transfem but not in a woman way. trans is an umbrella, so is transfem and transmasc. please remember that during pride 👑💖
