Human made objects are easier to draw. I mean, it is easier to copy.

This post is dedicated to the animals I tried to draw. I saw a horse shitting while he was jumping. Chickens are easier to copy, but I stopped because I felt like I was being watched by the guard dog.

Welcoming @gaiapapoila to our 2025 fair! Gaia is a gal from Italy. She has drawn illustrations for vn and for y/a books and her comics have appeared in self-published anthologies. Up to now she has been interested in drawing the stories of people with their little existential discomforts, in the company of talking animals. ShortBox Comics Fair is an innovative all-digital, online comics fair that takes place annually every October, with over 150+ participating artists from around the world each debuting an all-new, original comic!

✂ My 2023 art summary! plus the previous years.

In 2019 I completed my studies at the fine arts school and I got kinda "tired" of drawing.

In 2020 I started drawing with the team Soletude to develop visual novels AND it has been a long and good journey for me.

At the end of 2021 I decided to study again (MA degree in illustration).

I'm not sure I have improved in these years, but I know for sure that I can and that I am lucky to be able to draw my things ✹
