10 Video Games that Changed My Life: Mario Party

Dramatic much? Maybe. But I decided to do some fun highlights of games I’ve really enjoyed in the past, but also games that have changed how I play or think in general.

What did Mario Party change exactly? Well, it was the first game that made my neighbor leave our house in a ragefit. That’s what happens in Mario Party when you steal stars. It’s a game that encourages temporary alliances and to betray all of your friends…all on the same turn. It’s a friendship ruiner. It’s some of the best fun around, and it always will be. No other game, save for Dokapon Kingdom, has been so friendship shattering yet still beautiful.

And sometimes, I can still feel those blisters.

She followed looking around making sure no one she knew was there. "So which one of your games do I get the pleasure of playing today?"

Game Guy pondered for a few seconds as he thought of a game for her to play.

"Ah, yes... I think I'll have you play Game Guy's Sweet Surprise."

They shortly arrived into his casino, where he then walked behind the stage where the Chain Chomps were.

A real Mario Party. These awesome parents planned a Mario Party themed birthday party complete with all hand-made costumes and treats.

Game Guy nodded and signaled to follow.

"Certainly...head this way."

He walked off nonchalantly to his close-by casino, keeping it as discreet as possible.
