I added more decorations to the previous levels so they look more interesting. I will continue adding them while working on the fourth level.

Making a remake of my strategy game.
Five years ago I made a strategy game about the American Civil War. The result wasn't so great, so I want to remake it. I will do it while working at the same time on my current project with a main focus on an exploration game, while a strategy will be a secondary thing until the main game is done.
I have many ideas, and I really want to realize them. For now I'm working on biomes.

Modding in my games
For now, there are only two games that you can make mods for: Sapphire Hero Rewritten and Sapphire Hero 2 Rewritten. My current modding tools work only with those two, but I want all my future games to have modding, so I will make a universal modding plugin that will help me to easily add mod support. Maybe I will even publish it on GitHub.
I will start to work on it after finishing my current game and before publishing it.

This is the first game I have published on itch.io. Original games were made in just 5 days; at least the first one was, but the second was made in more days because I was too ambitious. The remake features both parts in one and is now in 3D. This is the last project that I made in Godot 3.
The game features:
12 levels (6 levels each game)
9 playable planes (2 in the first game and 7 in the second game)
6 bosses (2 in the first game and 4 in the second game)
4 difficulty levels in the second game

How many games do I plan to make in the Sapphire Hero series?
I will make two more games in a series and only two, because I don't have good ideas for more games, and I plan to end the story in Sapphire Hero 4.
A few years ago, before remakes, I was planning to make a Sapphire Hero 5, which will be a 3D action game, but I dropped that idea and will not come back to it.

I was planning to make a tower defense game, but I lost motivation; maybe I will return to this project later, but definitely not this year. The game was supposed to be in a magical world, inspired by World of Illusion

I found a bug in Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 that inspired me to make places in a level that will hide anybody who steps in.

One of the paintings from the Unknown level is actually made using photos that I made when I was on a cable car from Bor to Nizhny Novgorod.

I have updated both my plugins for Godot 4.4.
The first plugin adds projectiles. Their logic can be easily changed via resources, like decreasing the speed of a projectile by 15 every 2.5 seconds.
While the second one just adds a few functions to make the creation of new nodes via code faster.
P.S. I will try to make posts every single day from now on.

Sapphire Hero Rewritten 2.1 and Sapphire Hero 2 Rewritten 1.5 are released. Both of those games are now moddable. You can find tools for that on GitHub and itch.io. You can add custom levels and mods that will be executed at the start of a level.

A small demonstration of progress on mod support. Hp bars over enemies mod is the exact same for both remakes, meaning you don't need to do any changes to make it work for a specific game. Of course, this will not work for every single mod, but at least it will work for those who don't rely on functions that exist only in specific games.
There are two types of mods:
Ready mods - mods that are loaded at the start of a level.
Levels - the name speaks for itself.
Mod support will be part of Sapphire Hero Rewritten 2.1 and Sapphire Hero 2 Rewritten 1.5. After that, I will think about what I will do next.
