i just love romancing garrus and you see him trying his very best to please shepard because he doesn't want anything to go wrong and he's so worried about doing the wrong thing but then you get to the citadel dlc and the relationship is cemented at that point and he so confident and secure about it he's calling himself boyfriend and calling her girlfriend and talking about in laws he's so happy to be in this relationship and it's so beautiful and delicious and devastating in the chaos that is shepard's story

I am once again deeply, extremely unwell about Garrus and Shepard's eye colours. What do you mean Garrus has tiny specks of green in that blue. What do you mean when Shepard looks into his eyes, into that blue dotted with green, she sees the home planet she should know but doesn't. What do you mean her eyes are green with little lime tint. What do you mean this is the homeworld Garrus knew, before it burned before his eyes. What do you mean they literally see home in each others eyes. How could I ever be normal about that.

bingewatching will never come close to bingereading. there is nothing like blocking out the entire Earth for ten hours to read a book in one sitting no food no water no shower no bra and emerging at the end with no idea what time it is or where you are, a dried-up prune that's sensitive to light and loud noises because you've been in your room in the dark reading by the glow of a single LED. it's like coming back after a three-month vacation in another dimension and now you have to go downstairs and make dinner. absolutely transcendental

The interrupt system in mass effect is truly so good and I wish more games would utilize it. It helps the player feel like cutscenes are things they participate in rather than things they watch AND allows you to indulge in the desire to tell someone running their mouth to shut the fuck up
