I heard @hulu was sending people teasers for the Solar Opposites Valentines Day Special, and I am BEGGING for them to send it to me. I am like your number one fan okay? I dressed up as Korvo for halloween. I bought a pupa. I have spent several thousand hours rewatching the show. My whole family has listened to me rant about it for hours- I have posted about Solar Opposites loads of times! I am begging! Please! I need these teaser images!

The best part of this is that it could 100% be Canon.

spock coming back to life in st iii immediately triggers his pon farr bc everything is out-of-whack, and whomst would he possibly be considered bonded to besides the person he literally entrusted his katra to?? they're on vulcan for three months before they head back to earth and start searching for those whales.

st iv is a perfect movie and cannot be improved upon at all but it COULD be funnier if spock and mccoy had banged for like a week right after they shoved spock's katra back in his body, neither of them were fully in their right minds, and then they simply didn't talk about it again. mccoy isn't even sure if spock remembers??? that's part of what he's trying to figure out when they're talking together in st iv??? spock do you remember our seven days in heaven?????

meanwhile spock has spent the entire movie fully unaware of mccoys mental gymnastics, and reasonably assumes they're now together.

the end of the movie, right after the trial, spock turns around and kisses mccoy in front of god, starfleet command, and everyone. mccoy goes a shade of red spock genuinely did not know humans could go. it is.....charming.

!SPOILERS FOR S2 OF OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH BELOW!

It's not out in the UK yet, and I can't currently watch it, but I have seen a clip. A CLIP. I was fucking right. I knew it. It is literally this scene (more or less). Stede telling a reluctant Ed why he loves him.

Our Flag Means Death is returning to our screens in just over a month, and I couldn't be more excited! The teaser for Season 2 was out yesterday. Naturally, that means I had to write a post about a theory I have for this upcoming series and for what I think certain parts of the teaser are.

So strap in, and let the rambling commence!

(Obviously, I will be talking about the Our Flag Means Death Season 2 teaser. If you do not want to have spoilers or if you have not yet seen it, then do not read!!!)

The beginning of the teaser opens up on a clip featuring everyone's favourite Gentleman Pirate as he is seen kissing a message in a bottle and throwing it into the ocean.

He then begins to speak, reading (at least we assume) the letter he has written. The full letter from what we have is this.

"Dear Ed, I love everything about you. I love being near you. Breathing the same air. I think of you often. I hope you're thinking of me as well."

Which is a really weird lay out for a letter. I know we may not have the whole letter, but if it is written in the order in which Stede reads it to us, then that just feels strange. Would you not first right that you are thinking of someone? Imply that you miss them, then continue onto why you love them and why you miss them? Plus, the way he says, "I love everything about you. I love being near you. Breathing the same air." Sounds ever so slightly different. Just slightly enough for me to notice.

This leads me to my theory.

Most of what we hear isn't the letter. That part Stede says slightly differently? It sounds much more like what someone would say to their loved one if said loved one was in doubt of their love, doesn't it? It sounds like Stede reassuring Ed. Comforting him. Apologising that he left and gently reassuring him that he is enough for Stede. That Ed is loved and cared for. Imagine their first meeting after Season 1. Stede would be so happy until he saw Ed. Until he realised what he had done to Ed. How broken Ed was. And Ed? Ed would go full anger. He would start shouting and pushing at Stede, threatening him maybe, until he broke down. Until he began to cry and quietly whisper that he was sorry he wasn't enough. That he wished he could be enough for Stede. That he thought Stede loved him back. Thought they would be together forever. And then Stede left, and he was broken. Again. He had finally found someone that looked beyond the curtain, and he had left. Now imagine Stede seeing this, his heart aching for Ed, and he slowly cups the others' cheeks in his hands. Beginning to whisper small reassurances and apologies. Tell Ed how much he loves him, how sorry he is for leaving, and that he will never leave again.

That's what the "I love everything about you. I love being near you. Breathing the same air." sounds like. It sounds like someone reassuring the person they love that everything is okay.

So I love Rick and Morty, but honestly Season 5 felt really meh. I've seen the first 3-ish episodes of Seaskn 6 which seem alittle better, but Season 5 just felt so rushed.

So many long story lines that we have been slowly finding out about are suddenly finished and ended. Which in some ways is great, because we finally know what happened, but on the other hand it shut because its all done in the same 3 episodes.

Don't get me wrong, there are some episodes of Srason 5 that are great, for example the thanksgiving one and the planatina one, but some of them just felt out of place or like they should have been later down the line.

I'm going to watch the rest of Season 6 before Season 7 comes out, and I'm hoping the rest of Season 6 is better?

Plot Twist : The whole of Good Omens S2 was just another fandom wide dream again.

Can we please talk about how soft Korvo sounds when he knows he has upset Terry? And how Terry goes quiet when he is truly upset?

In S3 E3 'The Pupas Big Day', when Linus leaves and makes another line, Terry is pissed at Korvo for ruining the line. Korvo doesn't do his usual "I'm right, your wrong, shut up" because Terry is quiet, which he knows means Terry is upset with him. So he quietly asks Terry to talk to him, and is clearly upset that he has ruined Terry's mood. It is such a small thing, but for Korvo, that's his way of showing affection.

Then it flips in S4.

In S4 E10 'The Re-Visibilty Bouillabaisse', they fight basically the whole time, which is pretty normal for them. Then when they are in the kitchen and Terry tells that he is going to move out, the situation flips for a moment. Korvo goes quiet. Korvo is the one that is truly upset this time, and this shows when he very quietly asks if Terry is still there. And Terry is the one that comforts Korvo this time. Korvo is sat on the floor, feeling dejected and like a complete fuck up, and Terry is their to tell him it's okay.

It's just a very interesting thing to see. Terry and Korvo swapping their usual reactions for an episode.

Plus, it proves how much their relationship grows.

This post is amazing, and it reminded me of one of my favourite ideas I had about Season 3.

Season 3 is going to open up on a shot of Crowley in the Bentley sleeping (or maybe staring off into space). Their hair is going to be messy and tangled, they will have bags under their eyes, and they will be wearing (very clearly) the same outfit from the last episode of Season 2 (but now its alittle tattered and dirty).

But most importantly, I think we are going to see the plants dead in the back. The plants that Crowey spent so much time looking after, making sure they were the best they could be, dead.

Crowley has 3 things they takes great pride in. Their Bentley, their outfits/looks, and their plants. It's the 3 things we are shown that Crowley shows great care for. In Season 3, all of these things will be kicked to the side, showing us how Crowley is doing.

Crowley is going to be a mess. They did everything for Aziraphale, and look where that got them. Still in their car. Still alone. An ex demon with no-one. That's how Crowley would see it anyway. I'm a firm believe that Nina, Maggie and Muriel will team up together to help Crowley get back on their feet, just because it would be nice to see Crowley make some friends and connections all while getting better with Aziraphale. For once, doing stuff for themselves and taking time to come to terms with everything.

Anyway, that's been my daily good omens rant, hope you enjoyed!

crowley loves so much and so deeply, and while there can probably be made an argument that parts of that love are entirely selfish, i think it's more than that.

he sees creation as a way of giving things live, be it stars and nebulas or humans or plants, they all exist and thus have a right to live. i think the thought of his nebulas and the entire universe being shut down after 6k years didn't just make him sad because of the effort he put into it. he sees it as a living, breathing creature that deserve to exist on its own terms.

that is why he asked questions, it certainly played a role in why he fell, and it also puts him right in the moral grey zone because there's no way of thinking that humans deserve free will without questioning the black/white moral system.

having to play his part as a demon is entire counterintuitive to who he is as a person, and it's imo the reason why he barely has relationships with humans (and if he does, they go deep). the constant loss would kill his soul and in a way it already has.

"what's the point" is him having reached a point of depression and an impatience that has morphed into bitter resignation.

look at him returning to the bentley after his fight with aziraphale in episode one. he isn't just upset, he is tired.

what's the point in loving and trying to save those that he loves when over and over again he is told that no, everyone else matters more than you. fixing this is more important than finding the peace we deserve. helping someone who literally tried to kill us matters more than our love for each other. the universe will be created and then destroyed for nothing, you are breathing live into empty spaces and none of it will matter. in the end, the logical conclusion he undoubtedly came to is that he does not matter either.

he tried to find a purpose for his existence in aziraphale and their arrangement, in trying to be kind and do good despite everything - and see where that landed him.

rejected and alone because compared to heaven, he is worthless, and well if that isn't a familiar feeling.

i think aziraphale in 1862 has picked up on that and he isn't wrong when he thinks it's a suicide pill.

season 3 is going to be very, very interesting because i don't think crowley will go down some kind of rage and revenge path, he will just fall deeper into his depression until it threatens to swallow him whole.
