Wasn't that last post the best ever?! The cake was puurrrfect! I <3 Hello Kitty! Thanks friends! 

The next big project was for a quinceañera! Gee and I were excited for this project since there were so many different components and gave us a new challenge: A 3 tiered cake and desserts (caramel apples, cupcakes, cakepops and brownies (oh my)! Jessica was a dream to work with because she gave us the colors and a basic theme, and let us do the rest. I loved these colors and making everything was so much fun! We basically had an entire day of baking, with of course, the needed dance breaks. MateriaGirls dance lessons will be another post. haha just kidding (or not?)  Happy 15th Birthday Andrea! :)

Hey everyone! Sorry for being MIA for so long, but we’re back!

Sooo… For Maricor’s birthday, our friend Rhea came up with a really cute idea. Since Maricor is always the one making everyone cakes for their birthdays, Rhea wanted to gather up some of the boys to make Maricor a Hello Kitty cake for her birthday. This girl is all about Hello Kitty. My job was to guide them and show them what to do. So basically I was the Cake Boss! But throughout the night I just couldn’t help myself and jumped in to help anyway. Lol!

It was so much fun making this cake with everyone. They all worked hard and i was sooo proud of them. We had some problems along the way, but the cake turned out great!!! Maricor had no idea at all and when they gave her the cake, she was completely surprised and truly touched. Success!! Yay!

Spring time is fruit time! 

So I don't really know why it took a while before I even thought about making a fruit arrangement. It was always one of those "I can do that. But I don't" type things. I guess the opportunity never came up?

But thanks to my good friend Lourdes, I was provided with a chance! She was going to a birthday dinner, she needed an edible arrangement type thing. I was a little bit hesitant because I've never done one, but this was a good time to start! Did my research and bought my fruits and supplies! The project was not too challenging, and I was thankful I actually had some time in the kitchen when I wasn't sweating! haha Yay for fruit!
