Guess who's back, back again...well it's me. I don't have true starting photos but this was last week after around 5kg down from my heaviest.

Life has been fucking rough so far in 2022, ngl. Broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years (but we still own a house and live together 🤗), just got my heart broken by a one month situationship, serious financial problems and a shitty living situation. It's a shitshow. So I'm focusing on me, because that's something I can control.

I am beyond fed up now. All year I have done nothing. Made no plans. I shielded for 12 weeks. I've had to work as I can't work from home. I don't go out unless I have to: I have barely seen any of my family all year. I haven't seen any friends at all this year. I live in an area where cases are thankfully very low. All I wanted this year was to be able to spend a couple of days off work with my family. I am incredibly thankful I will at least still be able to see my family for one day, but I can't help but feel so disappointed that the rest of the festive season and the few precious days I had off work will be spent entirely alone. L

And like most people I understand why the decision has been made to cancel Christmas. But to do it 5 days before when people had plans was vile. They knew all the facts weeks ago and gave people false hope. The UK government has spectacularly failed during this pandemic. And this is the cherry on top.

So thank you to the minority of the British public, whom I see daily when I go to my job I have to go to, who think it doesn't exist or they don't care. Because of you lot we all suffer.
