🏳️🌈HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!🏳️🌈
I'm kind of very late to the party, but nevertheless I wish a very happy pride month to all my queer folks out there🫶 Whether you're out or in the closet, somewhere in between, whether you're very sure of your identity, questioning, or have a vague idea but are still exploring your options, I hope you know that you are valid, welcome and have a place in this world.
This pride month is definitely weird and tough, there is a lot less representation of us than usual and the danger to our community is as palpable as ever, but we cannot let that keep us from being ourselves. We have to stand together and *especially* now be louder and more visible than ever, for all our siblings who cannot do the same.
But no matter whether you're loud or not, just please please please stay alive. Times are really difficult right now, but if you can only do one thing, then I ask you to do this: stay alive. Our existence is resistance, whether we want it to be that way or not. But you are important, and there are always people who care. I care. Even if I don't know you. Happy pride🫶🏳️🌈

Genderfluid micro label of the week: Trigenderflux

Trigenderflux, also known as triflux, is a form of genderfluidity. This term is a subset of genderflux and combines this with the label trigender. A trigenderflux person therefore has exactly three genders with all of those genders fluctuating in intensity. The genders can fluctuate at the same time or completely unrelated to each other. It is also possible for one gender to become more intense as the other two become less strong. Or one could be fluid between three genders and also have those genders fluctuate in intensity (this is called trigenderfluidflux). This label is also a subset of multiflux.

Genderfluid micro label of the week: Multiflux

Multiflux is a form of genderfluidity and a subset of genderflux. It's an umbrella term that describes someone who is genderflux with multiple genders, so someone who has multiple genders that fluctuate in intensity over time. These genders may fluctuate independently from each other, or their fluctuations may be connected in some way. While mutliflux is an umbrella term, it can also be used as a stand-alone label.

Due to the huge influx of aphobia on International Asexual Awareness Day earlier this month started by JK R*wling I just wanted to make it very clear that asexuals will always be welcome on this blog. This blog is literally run by an asexual, so if you have a problem with that or you think asexuals aren't part of the LGBTQIA+ community, you can kindly f*ck right off :)
Questions asked in good faith are always welcome, it doesn't matter if you think your question is stupid or if you didn't word something perfectly, we all learn as we grow. I am not offended by that and will happily answer your questions!! That being said, I do not tolerate any kind of hate towards anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community on this page, so you can take that somewhere else.
#just wanted to get that out there#asexuals & aromantics belong in the community just as much as anyone else and i'm sick of having this discussion over and over again#anyways thank u for reading my rant and take care of urselves🫶#lgbtq#lgbtq+#lgbtqia#lgbtqia+#asexual

Note
genderfluid culture is feeling (temporarily) aligned with your agab, but still viscerally identifying with the trans label, and feeling like an imposter because of it

Genderfluid micro label of the week: Abrogender

Abrogender is a form of genderfluidity. This label has two definitions:
Abrogender is a gender that changes so fast it cannot be pinned down.
Abrogender is having so many tiny aspects to one's gender that one feels like one is continuously discovering it.

im trying to figure out if im genderfluid or not. im afab and have used she/her and identified as a girl most of my life until a bit ago i changed my pronouns to she/they and considered myself a demigirl. i felt like a girl was too strict of a label and knew i didnt like my chest but i didnt feel masc. but i had a thought about trans people (specifically ftm/mtf) and was like oh well if i was amab i don't think i'd want to transition because i have no problem with being considered a boy. but then i was like wait. i have no problem being considered a boy...?
i thought he/him pronouns didn't fit me but thats just because of my given name, i have another name in mind that's more gender neutral and when using that name, i really like he/him. so i think i may change to she/they/he.
at first i was gonna ask a question but now im honestly just ranting, i dont have anyone to tell in my life so i found this blog and took the oppertunity to tell someone whatever strange gender confusion ive been going through sorry lol /gen
There's nothing to apologize for, stuff like this is exactly why I made this blog in the first place <3
I know I say this often, but it rings true every time: Take your time. It's okay to not have it all figured out right away. And it's great that you're becoming more comfortable with yourself. Thank you for sharing your experience, stuff like this will always be welcomed on my blog!! Sometimes you don't need answers, sometimes sharing your experience is enough. Don't be afraid to experiment with gender and good luck on your gender journey!🫶

In light of recent discourse I have seen around the topic of medical transition, HRT, and being transgender, I feel like I should remind some folks: nonbinary folks, agender folks, gender fluid folks, etc, receive medical HRT and surgical treatments, too. Those things aren’t reserved for binary trans folk, and pretending they are erases a large chunk of nonbinary folks.
HRT is for folks of all genders, not just binary trans men & women.
And not all nonbinary folks are fem presenting/androgynous presenting female assigned folks. Each of us looks different, each of us has a different transition story and journey.
We’re an important part of the community, and excluding us and our experiences and voices isn’t OK.
