little twin peaks and yellowjackets rant:

okay so i’ve been watching twin peaks a lot recently and i think it’s sosooooooo good but like it genuinely makes me so angry that people villainize laura and jackie. they’re genuinely so similar, though laura was caught up in a lot more dangerous stuff, in the end they were mistreated by people around them. laura had been mistreated time and time again resulting in her shady behaviors. jackie was literally being played by her best friend and being shunned by her group.

both of these girls haunt the narrative in the most perfect way ever and are so similar it is insane. i don’t understand how people don’t like them though. laura maybe because she was involved with so many things but she was a teenage girl, it is human do to what she did (in my opinion) but jackie was genuinely the sweetest. i actually cannot stand people saying jackie was a mean girl because she was sweet to everyone (except maybe nat). like even misty.

like yes it is not that serious cuz it’s a tv show but i love these girls with my heart ok 😞😞
