Hey everyone, I'm just making this post to say that I'm practicing reading tarot and oracle cards, so I'm opening free oracle readings for whoever wants them!

Tips via KoFi/PayPal are appreciated but completely optional. I know everyone is struggling financially because of covid, so I understand if you can't tip, or if you just don't want to.

The deck I'm using is The Good Tarot deck, which I mostly use for positive readings, so I will ask questions like:

•what blessings can I expect to receive in (month/year/etc.)?

•what positive message do I/does (client) need to hear right now?

•what is the best case scenario for (situation)?

Since these readings do take a lot of energy and tire me out quite easily, I'm only taking the next 5 people to message me.

Okay I haven't been on here in a long time BUT I'm kind of having a dilemma rn

So basically I've worked with the Greek pantheon for the whole time I've been a witch and I love them I love the deities I work with,, bUT recently the Egyptian pantheon has just been sitting at the back of my mind like an itch I wanna scratch but probably shouldn't but I did anyway and now I'm really interested in it BUT ALSO I can't really look at kemetism without remembering the time when I was in primary school and they taught us about the Osiris/Set myth and I had nightmares about watching Set rip Osiris' body apart and I was paranoid for like a good month that Set was gonna kill me bc the only representation I had of him was this jealous, murderous person and I was like 7 or 8 maybe 9 when this happened but I still remember it and it's still affecting me even tho I'm almost 20 and I'm old enough to know that it's just a dream and Set probably isn't gonna kill me but I'm still like,,,, scary,,,,

Sorry this is really rambly I just had to get this out of my brain and figured that this was the best place to do it

So first of all, I recently got interested in doing a past life regression bc I wanted to know if I had any past lives. I got out some of my crystals bc that's how I like to meditate and basically, I couldn't see it very well, but I did get a blurry vision of a grave robber in ancient Egypt robbing a tomb and dying bc they got bitten by a spider. That's all I saw before I was woken up by a painful itch on my shoulder, and then my black tourmaline stone fell off my bed somehow and broke into two pieces,,,, I'm sad about it but I'm pretty sure I have another one somewhere and if not, I can easily order another one once corona is over

Another thing:

I was reconnected with my grandfather on the 4th February,, and then exactly 2 months later, on the 4th April, I accepted the trial period with Hades,,,, I'd like to say this is a coincidence but I have a feeling it's not.

So, I finally got the Hades thing sorted out tonight. When I did a deity spread on him, I got the general message that he wants to connect me back to my grandfather because he knows I'm still hurt and upset bc of his passing, and he senses that I'm scared of him (which isn't entirely wrong), so he is okay with having a trial period. I finally sat down tonight with my RW deck and it took a couple of tries, but we agreed on working together for 4 weeks and sitting down to decide whether I will actually accept the offer or not. So, you'll notice that I have "(🦉🖤Hades)" in my bio now. I like to put my deities in my bios where I can asa form of honouring them? But yeah the brackets just mean I'm testing the waters with that deity. I let them choose the emojis and then I put a heart in the colour I associate with them the most, and that's what colour their text will be in when I post about them ^^

Kind of excited to actually work with him bc I've wanted to do this since like,,,, January,,, and he was the one to reach out to me,,,

But in other news, I can feel a stye forming on my eye and it's the third time I've had one this year,,, I'm getting pretty sick of it tbh

OKAY a list of other ways I can relate Hades' symbolism to me/my life:

•The Hermit tarot card - has showed up in multiple of my recent readings, I'm a big hermit myself

•"The unseen one" - I've felt invisible for many years, probably due to being ignored a lot and because I'm so quiet. I often scare my family and friends because they don't hear me coming. The only reason why they can kind of hear me coming now is bc I wear a protection bracelet that has a Hamsa charm on it and it kind of jingles like a bell sometimes

•"watching the world go by but never really being able to be a part of it" - a thing my anxiety and derealisation causes me to do. I'm kind of just there in the background, not really noticeable unless you look closely or you're specifically looking for me.

•i've wanted to connect more with my grandfather recently, especially after that very comforting and reassuring pendulum reading I did a while back with my grandfather on my mother's side (so, my mother's father). According to this video series (which is from a person I know I can trust, and actually works with Hades and so has done a lot of research on him), he often helps people connect with their ancestors.

•after doing multiple attempts at a deity spread with one of my decks and getting many cards with that deck's equivalent of the traditional suit of pentacles (which was freaky), I moved over to my Rider-Waite deck. As I was shuffling, I asked it to show me The Hermit card if Hades was actually trying to contact me.... And guess what fucking showed up as the last card. The Fucking Hermit.

•basically: I'm kinda freaked out rn :)

So, I've noticed that a lot of people might be feeling lonely while they're in quarantine, and I'm thinking of making a group chat for people who maybe don't have anyone they can talk to and really feel isolated. It'll be a place where people can just vent about their loneliness, or it can be a place where you can go to make friends, or distract yourself from the anxiety that the current situation may be causing you. There'll be one on Tumblr and one on Instagram if I do decide that it would be helpful. Basically, I just wanna see if anyone is interested in something like this or not? Regardless of anything, if you want to talk to someone, my DMs and inbox are ALWAYS open for anything from venting to just chatting and being stupid.

• Bees were thought to be the spirits of Aphrodite's high priestesses in Ancient Greece, this is why if you're seeing a lot of bees where you usually wouldn't, it could be a sign that Aphrodite is trying to contact you! (Source / tw: slightly transphobic language)

• Honey is a great offering for pretty much any Greek deity! I can't speak for other pantheons, but I know that most of the Greek gods/goddesses like honey!

• Use honey in a spell jar to sweeten the results! It can also represent a prolonged waiting period for the spell to work or a slow release of sweetness!

• if you see a struggling bee, mix water and white, granulated sugar to help them get their energy back! HOWEVER!! Do not leave the solution out in a bowl, this will revive the tired bee, but it will also bring more bees to the easy food source which doesn't really have much nutritional value in the first place, but the bees will also go for the sugar water over pollinating flowers, and you can see where the problem is with this solution. If you do want to help revive a tired bee, give them the solution on a teaspoon rather than in a bowl. If you want to help further, you can plant flowers that bloom all year round, and also leave some water in a bowl with some rocks and pebbles at the bottom for them to drink! (Source)

Today I'm really depressed all of a sudden. I wanna go outside and explore the town like I usually do, but classes being cancelled has just thrown my routine out the window and I have to figure out how I can keep myself busy so I don't just sit in my room and isolate myself.

I'm also just upset that my memory is so poor. I don't remember being alive before the age of 11 years old. I have some memories from when I was about 8 or 9, because I first figured out that I wasn't heterosexual when I was 8, but before that, nothing. Even yesterday is vague, and I can only remember going shopping and it's very bright and overexposed and really cloudy, almost like an old photo.

It's really annoying that I can't remember anything from when I was really young though. When people talk about their childhoods and funny things they did as kids, I kind of just have to change the subject bc I have nothing from that part of my life.

Sorry this isn't really witchcraft related, this is just the only place I have to rant about stuff without worrying people.

So, today I got a new tarot deck! I just had the regular, basic Rider-Waite deck before, but today I picked up The Good Tarot deck by Colette Baron-Reid! I've been wanting a new deck for a while now, but when I looked online and in my local metaphysical shop, I didn't seem to connect with any of them. Plus, the shop mostly carries oracle decks, I'm looking for tarot decks. But, today, this one was hiding at the back of the shelf and was literally screaming at me to buy them, so I did.

Looking into it, I get why this deck called out to me. I forget where I read it, but I saw somewhere that this deck isn't like other tarot decks. If you didn't know, I'm a gender non-conforming trans person (he/him/they/them), I hate being a sheeple, going with the flow, doing the expected, "staying in line" or "doing what I'm told", no bitch I do what the fuck I want and I don't care what anyone has to say about it. I'm a bad bitch you can't kill me. Periodt.

Anyway, I just connect with the intentions behind this deck SO much. I can really tell that they're gonna give me messages in a more caring way than my Rider-Waite deck. My RW is more straight forward and tells me exactly what he thinks I need to do in order to improve myself. (Yes my decks have pronouns, I'm just going off the vibes they give me).

The art in the Good Tarot deck is just,,, 10/10 amazing. So ethereal, so pretty, can't stop looking at them. The cards are also quite a bit bigger than my RW deck, and they prefer to be kept in their original box, whereas my RW prefers to sit out in the open, either on my windowsill, or by my bed. Don't know if GT has a place in my room they'd prefer to be kept, but I'm sure I'll find out 😂😂

I realised something today. I am SO much more powerful than I could ever expect. That's not me trying to be arrogant or conceited, I was literally just doubting how powerful my energy was until today. I really want to do tarot readings for other people, but I feel bad taking their money and not giving them an accurate reading, so I offered free readings, just so I could practice. I literally got over 20+ messages asking all kinds of questions, and I pretty much hit the nail on the head for the majority of my clients.

There was one that I liked doing in particular. This guy started asking me all these questions about tarot and I don't mind answering questions, but I got the vibe that he has a superiority complex, and the cards I pulled for him told me exactly that. I got to take him down a peg or two, which was VERY fun. Gotta love bringing an arrogant person down to a normal person level 😂

Moral of the story: don't doubt your own power, you are literally one of the most powerful beings on this planet, confidence is good, but it turns to arrogance when you bring others down to lift yourself up.

Hey y'all I know I haven't posted anything for a while, but I recently made a dream sachet and it really worked for me, so I wanted to share how I made it! This is modified from the recipe ajangel on tik tok talked about in his dream sachet video. I wanted to make it, too, but I didn't have the majority of the herbs that he used, so I improvised with what I had.

You'll need:

•A white sachet bag (if you're in the UK, you can find these in The Works under "Organza bags" I think they're in packs of 8 for £1)

•Lavender flowers - natural relaxant

•Pink Himalayan salt (although I think any salt will work) - protection

•Chamomile (dw if you don't have proper chamomile, I used chamomile tea and it still worked!) - anti-anxiety, relaxing, purifying

•Rosemary - cleansing negative energies/protection

•A sigil to invite good dreams, charged with intention

•Mortar and pestle (this is just what I used, I don't think it matters too much if you don't have one)

Method:

Basically, you wanna put all your ingredients into your mortar and pestle/something to mix them up in and put your intentions into each of them, just what each herb usually represents/is used for. Once that is done, mix them all up and pour your mixture into your sachet bag.

Then, you can make a sigil for good dreams, and while you're drawing it, focus on having good dreams. Fold up the piece of paper, and put it in your bag with the herb mixture.

Put it in your pillowcase and after sleeping with it for a couple of nights, good dreams should come to you.

Okay so my friend and I go to the LGBTQ+ society meetings and events from time to time and we're kind of sort of acquaintances with the vice president bc he's just a really nice person and talks to everyone, so I go down to the café on campus bc I like their cheese toasties and I wanted coffee. As I'm waiting in line to order my coffee, I feel something on my head, so I look behind me and it's him. We'll just call him,,,, Henry,, to protect his identity bc that's nowhere near his actual name. So we start chatting about our week off last week and how I didn't die as much as I thought I would, long story, and he's talking about something, suddenly stops and says "oh, I like your necklace", this is the rose quartz pendant necklace that I got from Lanzarote to replace my opalite one that broke, I chose rose quartz bc I had recently started working with Eros and rose quartz is a stone of unconditional love. So I just reply with "oh thanks, I got it from Lanzarote!" And then I'm next to order so our conversation pauses there, and we move on after we both order. But now I'm sitting down and processing it, and I'm thinking,,,,, what if he's also into crystals and that's why he noticed it? Because I've been wearing this necklace for a good two months, like I said, I got it when I had just started working with Eros, so I've definitely been around him while wearing it and he's never commented on it before now?? Maybe I'm just overthinking it but it would be so cool if I've been hanging out with a fellow witch this whole time. I get the vibe that there's someone like me every time I'm in that room and I have no idea who it is or if it's an energy that's just left over from a class that was in there before the meeting,,,

Anyway, I've been seeing a lot about love recently. I pulled The Lovers when I was doing my daily single card tarot reading, I've been seeing 222/2222 EVERYWHERE, not to mention that 2 is kind of my lucky number, everything in my life comes back to the number two. If this is some soulmate shit in gonna tell bc I'm not going through that twin flame bullshit again.
